Awoken (Chapter 2) - A Destiny 2 Origin Story.
Uldren Sov x Original Female Character
Aurora Till is an Awoken born in the distributary and one of the only few female Crow's.
She chose to be a Crow to hide the powers nestled inside her. Powers that could destroy everything she holds near and dear. Little did she know the hatred she once held for the Queen's Brother - Uldren Sov, is slowly evolving into something dangerous. Love.
Now, not only does she need to hide from Mara, she also needs to navigate these growing feelings while knowing one wrong step could send everything around her crashing down.
She needs to choose between her heart and survival.
What else could she want? I picked up the pace, knowing that I was already late. Rounding the corner, I found somewhere waiting outside for me.
“You’re late.” Uldren scoffed. Of course, it was Uldren waiting for me. Jolyon and Uldren were as thick as thieves, but given the choice, I would throw Uldren off a cliff. He was an arrogant asshole whose whole life was being the Queen’s Brother.
“I will be on time if you will let me through,” I growled, pushing past him.
“When the Queen demands an audience, she expects you to be here earlier.”
I rolled my eyes before turning back to him. “I will keep that in mind, and when she asked me why I was late. I will tell her you held me up.” I glared at him through my helmet, and he glared back.
“ULDREN,” We heard, and Uldren got on one knee right away, and I followed suit. “I hope you aren’t holding my Corsair back.”
“Of course not, my Queen.” I stifled a snicker that I felt building in my chest.
“Aurora, you are just in time,” Mara said, standing before me and holding out her hand.
“I am sorry for being late.”
“You are here now; that is all that matters. Come.” I stood, not looking back at Uldren, and followed the Queen into her Throne room. Inside, there are a lot more people than I expected. I thought this was a meeting for just me. Now, I saw this as something more significant. Mara continued to walk to her throne at the tip of the table, and I saw some of my Corsair comrades, so I joined them. Uldren came in a few moments later and took his spot next to his sister.
“Now that we are all here. We can start. Uldren and his Crow’s have intercepted some Fallen transmission recently.” The Queen began, then nodded to her brother to continue.
“The transmissions are currently broadcasting on all Fallen frequencies. My Crow’s and I are working on breaking the encryption. All we know is that the Fallen Houses were all talking to each other. That was a thing that had never happened before.” Uldren stated, and everyone nodded.
“With this information, I’ve asked my Techeuns to look into what may be occurring,” Mara added, nodding to Sedia.
“We have looked earthward—and saw the Fallen there becoming bolder. Tactics suggested they are planning a massive attack.” She explained.
“What does this have to do with us?” One of the Paladins at the front asked.
“The City could be an ally for us in the future,” Mara explained.
“We don’t currently have a way to inform them of what we know. Therefore, we must help them from here.”
“We have detected a large group of Fallen in the Reef. The House of Wolves. The numbers are in the thousands, if not millions.” Uldren said, bringing up a holographic map on the table. “They are currently making their way to Earth. If they get there, the City will fall.”
“Then what can we do?” A Corsair beside me asked.
“We can stop the House of Wolves from joining the fight on Earth.” Sjur Eido interjected. I didn’t even see the Queen’s Wrath arrive. But then again, she would never leave Mara’s side. “Seemingly oblivious to our existence, the bulk of the Wolf fleet stopped to regroup at Ceres. They do not know that it is Awoken territory.”
“If we attack...” Abra Zire began to say.
“If we attack the House of Wolves, we will reveal ourselves to any and all enemies.” I said, “Or we stay silent and let the City fall and lose an ally as the Queen said.” I could feel the stares on me. I wish I had kept quiet.

The City of Dreams and Crow's (Chapter 21) - A Destiny Universe Story
Uldren Sov x Original Character
I channelled my psychic power to one big telekinesis hit that sent him flying across the alleyway.
“What-? he stuttered, trying to figure out what happened. Then, without moving a muscle, I lifted and pinned him to the wall by his throat. “You psychotic bitch.” He hissed, trying to kick free.
“You are going to regret this,” I growled as my hold around his throat tightened, and his skin went from a healthy blue to purple.
“AURORA!” someone yelled, and I dropped him before I turned to see my brother and Uldren approaching me. I blinked a few times as my vision continued to blur. Shit, I used too much of my power.
“Help her,” I whispered, pointing to the girl sobbing on the ground.
Jolyon rushed to her side to examine her. “I need to take her to a hospital. Can you handle Aurora and-” my brother paused, glaring at Rahil on the ground coughing. “and that thing.” he growled.
Uldren nodded as Jolyon picked up the girl and ran off. I pulled out of Uldren’s grip, walking away before I hurt him. “Aurora! Wait till the Corsairs arrive.”
“I can’t,” I groaned as voices filled my head—the voices of people all around me. I had overused my power, and now I was getting feedback from everything.
I didn’t know how far I could make it before it all became too much, and I fell to the ground, hands covering my ears in the hopes of blocking out the noise.
“Where is she? She couldn’t have gotten that far.” Uldren’s voice came in the clearest, meaning he was close by. The next thing I knew, he was leaning in front of me, looking worried. “Aurora,”
I put my hand up to stop him. “Leave before I hurt you.”
“Hurt me? Aurora, what do you mean?” But it was too late. All of that psychic energy building inside my head burst free, and Uldren fell to the ground, groaning in pain. All my thoughts were being poured into his head—all my secrets. After a few minutes, he pulled himself off the ground, panting in pain.
“I did warn you,” I whispered, pulling myself up. Everything I wanted to hide from the word, Uldren knew it all.
“Aurora,” he whispered, but I shook my head.
“I don’t wanna hear it. All I want is to go home. Can you help me walk?”
“I can. Where do you live?”
“Around the corner.” He nodded, putting my arm around his shoulder as I led him to my house. Once inside, I let him go and stumble to my bathroom before slamming the door shut behind me. I sank to the ground, pulling my knees to my chest as the tears fell. Everything I’d hidden from the world is now laid bare in front of Uldren—the one person who could ruin it all.
Done feeling sorry for myself, I jumped into the shower quickly to wash the night’s events before grabbing my discarded pj’s and returning to my living room. I stopped dead when I saw Uldren still sitting on my couch, waiting for me.
“Why are you still here?” I grumbled as I made my way to grab a glass of water.
Uldren scoffed. “No thanks, Uldren, for helping me?”
I sighed, trying to keep my temper in check. “Yeah, thanks for not listening to me. Now you know everything.” I slammed the glass, more upset with myself than Uldren.
“And you’re worried that I will tell my sister.” I nodded, looking down at the floor. I heard footsteps approaching, and Uldren pulled me into a hug. “I’m sorry you’ve had to hide from everyone,” he said, trying to calm me down.
I broke away from his embrace, my eyes burning with anger. “Don't you dare pity me. I was managing just fine, hiding in plain sight for years, and no one had a clue. Then you barged in and shattered it.” Uldren’s face fell, hurt by my words.
“I didn’t do anything, Aurora.”
“I know Mara asked you to spy on me. I know she suspects me.”
“I haven’t told her anything,” he assured me.
I scoffed, my arms tightly crossed. “I find it hard to believe, Uldren. Especially after you confessed that you can’t keep anything from Mara.” He averted his gaze, guilt written all over his face. “Exactly. So go ahead. Run and spill my secrets to her. Just ensure that my family doesn’t get caught in the crossfire.” Uldren stared back at me, his expression vacant. “GO!” I shouted, and he instinctively stepped back, startled by my tone.

The City of Dreams and Crow's (Chapter 16) - A Destiny Universe Story
Uldren Sov x Original Character
A few crows looked surprised to see me there, but Sarli was overjoyed. She pulled me over to the weapon rack and shoved a spear into my hands.
“No welcome back?” I teased.
“No time. We need to get you back into fighting shape.”
“The war is over, Sarli.” I reminded her before she pointed her spear at me and began to attack.
“The War may be over, but that doesn’t mean you can let your guard down. You need to be ready to fight at a moment’s notice,” Sarli reminded me, her tone serious.
I parried her attack and rolled to get behind her. “I think I’ll be fine.”
She smiled and lunged in again. We went on like this for twenty minutes till I had her pinned, spear at her throat.
“Okay, you’re good.” Sarli panted. I tossed my spear to the side and pulled her off the ground. Around us, crows stopped and watched our fight and were now clapping for me.
“It’s like you never left.” Jolyon cheered, patting me on the back.
I rubbed my head, feeling slightly embarrassed. “Thanks.”
“Why are we standing around? There is still work to do.” Uldren said, and the crows dispersed. “You know, for someone who’s been out for a few months, you still kick ass,” Uldren expressed once it was just him and I left in the ring.
“Thanks. Honestly, I thought I was going to get my ass handed to me.”
“I’ve seen you fight, Aurora. That was never going to be an issue.”
I blushed, looking away. Please stop. I silently begged.
“Uldren!” My brother yelled, and Uldren took off after him. Jolyon was my hero, but he didn’t even know it.

Uldren Sov x Original Character
Sjur’s fist slammed on the desk, startling me. “You are on a fine line, Aurora. I saw this...Insubordination when you first applied to be a Corsair, but I also saw raw talent. I was hoping you could work past it. I thought you had outgrown the small Awoken child who stole the Galiot, But perhaps I was wrong.” Her words echoed in my mind, a painful reminder of my past actions and their lingering consequences. “You’ll be on probation until further notice. I need to see if you have what it takes to be a Corsair.” I kept my mouth shut to avoid making this worse. “You’re excused. Report to the training ring tomorrow.”
“Yes, Ma’am.” I stood and left without another word. Outside, I lifted a stone with my mind and tossed it as hard as I could in anger. Probation for who knew how long, and I was still at risk of getting fired. Great. I wanted Mara to leave me alone, not jettison me out of the only thing I’d done since arriving on the Reef. The rock crashed against something, and I left before whatever broke could be traced back to me. I was halfway out of the building when I noticed someone following me. I spun around, calling my knife to my hand to see Uldren.
“Tisk Tisk. Threatening the Prince of the Reef.”
I seethed my knife while rolling my eyes. “Oh, please. How long have you been trailing me?”
“That’s needs to know.”
“Got nothing better to do with your time than to follow a lowly Corsair?”
Uldren smirked, crossing his arms. What I would give to wipe the smug smile of his fucking face. “From what I heard, you won’t be much longer.”
“Fuck you,” I shoved passed him, but it wouldn’t be that easy.
“Nah. You aren’t my type. Your brother is, but you were witness to that. Thanks... By the way, You killed that date night.”
My body felt like it was going to burst into flames as I remember the time I walked into my brother and Uldren having sex. “First. Ew. Second EW! I don’t know what Jolyon sees in you.”
“My stunning personality. Or perhaps the way I can make him scream my name.”
I covered my ears and gagged. “Why are you following me? Enjoy tormenting me with my brother’s sex life?”
“Fun.” Uldren snickered, and my anger boiled over. I spun around and, using my powers, pinned him to the wall.
“I don’t give a fuck who you are. Right now, you’re a thorn in my side, and I will remove you with whatever means necessary.”
“Oh, the Sparrow can fight back.”
My eyes narrowed, and I growled. “What the fuck did you call me?”
“A sparrow. A small bird whose main purpose is to be a bird.” I dropped Uldren, and he dusted off his shoulders.
“You and your fucking birds. Weirdo,” I shoved past him again, and he didn’t follow this time.
I stayed clear of everyone till the next morning. I only came out of my room when I knew the coast was clear. I knew Mom would be overjoyed that I got my wings clipped, while Jolyon would pity me. I didn’t need either.
I arrived early at the training ring. Not really sure what I was getting into. I’d never seen a recruit before. Most of the time, I worked alone or partnered with a Corsair that was equal to me. These newbies would be nowhere near where I want them. So, I decided the best way to determine what to teach them would be to see where they stand. I got a bunch of different weapons out and prepared a small area for one-on-one combat. From there, I should be able to get what I was asked to do.
