I have decided to watch this lakorn at the first day of Corona Virus isolation, as of Monday night, we have been totally locked down here in the UK..

THIS IS ONE OF THE LAKORNS THAT I HAVE SIT TIGHT AND WATCHED WITHOUT GETTING BORED!

This lakorn has 34 episodes.

It is not really that long if you think of how things go in this drama.

It's not a slow but not a fast speed drama.

Unlike other lakorns, the ending was not rushed,.

Sao Noi (Little Girl) Are you familiar with Hans Christen Anderson and their fairy tales, do you enjoy fairy tales.

I have to admit that I have fallen in love with Son Yuke once again, his acting was amazing. Background music is also amazing, also listen every single music used in the lakorn, such as the beach scene Funiculì Funiculà, every single person you see is connected to one of the other. .

Nid is also San's inspiration muse, it started with his dreams. Dreaming of Nid as a muse, before he had lost his memories and became Siam

Vill & Son had an amazing chemistry, Vill, she surprised me, how she portrayed the innocent and islander the beautiful high so Wanida this well.

Now this lakorn is sort of based on one of their tales Little Mermaid, and you need to watch to understand why and how..

This is a historical drama, it' sets around 1939-45's., during World War II.

San is the son of Prachan Chalasai the Ministry of Finance, he likes oil painting, he's engaged to Suwalee, a rich girl from a well of family..

She is the most evil character of this lakorn. When he learns that his father married a bar singer Marasi, Marasi (she is not as bad as they tried to show on episode 1.)

He argues with his dad and takes his car to see his friend Boonma.

On his way to Boonma, he gets attacks and loses his memories, he finds a job in a ship and carries rice.

While he was in the ship, he hears singing and jumps off to sea, he was saved by Nid and taken to the island.

Nid taken care of him, they eventually fall in love and got married.

San / Siam's father learns that he's on the island, he tricks Nid that he'll accept her as his daughter in law, San goes to surgery, when he wakes up he had no memories of Nid.

He couldn't recognise Nid, and asked her to leave..

San's father Phra Chanchalasai kicks of Nid and Nid asks him to him somewhere where she can find a job.

Suwalee learns this and asks her aunt to go to job centre and take Nid as a maid

She doesn't behave Nid well, nor her daughter and their maids.

She becomes the maid for the Lord, he behaves Nid well and he even allowed her to listen to his daughter's English lessons and let her borrow books from his library.

While she was working as a maid, she still secretly keep on eye on San.. She secretly checked him out make sure he's fine and healthy..

But Suwalee, wanted to get rid of Nid completely; she came up with a plan to get rid of Nid,

Nid also witnessed how unfaithful Lord's wife is, his wife was cheating on him with her daughter's English teacher, he was also sleeping with the daughter at the same time.

They arrested Nid from theft and put her into prison, and she has been behaved badly in prison, her friend Kaew reached the lord and asked his help, while Nid was in prison she got help from another inmate Chod..

With the help of Lord, showing evidence that his wife blamed Nid and the confession of his wife's maid, they have set Nid free, with Chod's support with Marasi's support and her best friend being at her side, she totally turned into a new person,

Nid transformed herself into a High so girl, She learned to speak English, she has self educated herself, she became a woman who's much better than Suwalee. She became a singer & actress.

She made her husband to fall in love with her again, it took her 4 years to win back her husband's heart..

Nid had helped her husband to regain his memories through songs, through the lakorns (Little Mermaid, The Curse of Tudsayan & Scoonthara, the ring of memory, the mermaid saviour, the evil princess who took her place) she gave him all the hints, she told her story without mentioning his San's name but he couldn't understand it.

She helped him to sell his paintings., she .advertised it and she let him to use her her painting on his store window so he could generate sales.

Suwalee portrayed by Egg, oh my god, how many times I wanted to slap her, sometimes she reminded me off Mint, the spoiled girl, and if there’s any remakes of this drama most possibly Mint will perfectly fit into this.

Nid (Vill) she has gone through hell to win back her husband’s heart back again…San had amnesia and Nid saved him, San became Siam but than San forgotten that he was Siam and every other memories he had when he was with with. There are people who did their best to keep them away

Nid/Wanida: (Vil)l She’s a great actress, she uses her body language and her eyes well, her eyes tells, they speak. She was great at portraying Nid an innocent islander and she was very good as Wanida an actress and a singer.

Wanida as high society girl she stole everyone's heart, every men who watched and listened to her, and most importantly she won back her husband's heart back. When

Suwalee said she's expecting San's baby to Nid, it destroyed her, she even tried to kill herself..

This was the 2nd time she was tried to kill herself over San / Siam.

The first time she tried to jump off from a bridge and saved by Marasee, on the 2nd time both her's and San's unconscious body washes of to shore.

San/Siam:(Son Yuke)

San the son of a minister, rich, high so, snob, money loving guy.

He likes doing oil paintings, doesn't want to work as a civil servant. .

He's engaged to Suwalee,.

It takes him 4 years to reunite with is love Nid / Wanids

Once snob boy changes when he lost his memories and ends up in an Island.

Nid saves him and takes him to island, Nid becomes his inspirational muse, the muse that he dreamt of before his accident.

. I did get angry when he gave Nid the ring that he gave to Suda which was his grandmother’s ring, and later became his mother's ring, least he could have given her some other ring.

But Nid accepted anyway

San gained his memories with Nid after he has been shot at his wedding with Suwalee.

Nid & San didn't have any babies but we have been given hints that they will have two sons. Nid has the ruby ring given by Siam and San gave her his grandmother's ring.

I don't know why did they do this way, it's a big humiliation to give your ex fiancé's ring to your

Boonma (Guy):He’s funny, he’s charming, he’s San’s bestie. His love story with Kaew is worthy to watch. Just when you think Booma is gonna say something romantic to Kaew he just breaks the magic by asking different unrelated things. but they are a good match I’d like to see them as a couple in one of the lakorns in the future,

Suwalee (Egg): She’s the evil girl. she’s so selfish & narcissist. She & her aunt did bad things to Nid.

She will be drinking her own poison. He’ll be taking his revenge for everyone. She even think of doing the same thing that her aunt did to Lord.. But she’s not gonna get her happy ending., her aunt already did..

She’s cold and cunning.,The biggest punishment will be coming from Thana portrayed by (Nut)….

She doesn't love her fiancé San but she only love his tittles and he can give / provide to her.

After Son fell in love with Nid once again, she still tried her best to break them apart, trying to humiliate didn’t really worked, so After Thana drugged & raped her she gets pregnant and she tried to pass his baby as San’s She deserves every bad thing that happened to her and she’s not gonna get her happy ending.

During the wedding ceremony of San & Wanida,, when Chert tried to shoot San, Suwalee was laughing at a corner.

Sudawee tried to kill Thana with a sword, and had a miscarriage, so everyone learnt that she was pregnant and the father of the baby was Thana.

Marasee:(Khongmalai) Oh don’t be fooled by what you see in the first episodes. She’s stunning, Marasee a bar singer who married San’s father, the man who sees Nid lowly. Interesting enough she’ll be helping Nid..

She will become a friend and a supporter. She’s very strong and doesn’t let people to harass her.. Marasee also gave San the letters that his father & house maid Mae Pin was keeping from him,, that mentions about Nid as his wife,, just before he marries Sudawee,

Marasee is win all the hearts of San / Nid supporters with her support to our couple. …

Everyone except Sudawe got their happy ending, but we have seen her becoming the mistress of a governor.

Wthout Marasee giving San the letter, without Nid trying to make him remmeber things, Nid would now be married to Sudawee..

And the history of the Lord would be repeating again.

Not to mention without the support Nid got, we wouldn't have our happy ending..
