Like a breaking ice, Isaac's frozen body started to be able to get back moving and pulsing. It started from the fingertips, that gets thicker and hairier as his finger and both of his hand turned calloused from heavy workout while his feet stretched his wool socks and enlarged to a decent size 13. As blood started flowing once more, the veins in his arm thickened while his legs bursted with muscle and blond hair in an otherwise lanky former runner legs. as you left, your friends exchanged shocked glances, their mouths gaping open. one of them managed to stutter out, “y/n’s boyfriend? rafe cameron? how… when… what just happened?” they were clearly struggling to process the sudden turn of events, realizing that the shy, bookish girl they knew had captured the attention of the island’s most coveted bachelor. with a mix of confusion and awkwardness, they awkwardly excused themselves from the party, unsure of where they stood in your life now that rafe had claimed you as his own.

But it’s just so unfair—he wants you back so badly. He never agreed to let you go in the first place. It’s so unfair of you. You loved him once—you can’t just change your mind. You belong to him—you told him as much when you were together. You’re not allowed to take it back. Vows are binding.

“Please don’t cry—I promise, I’m not gonna hurt you—I would never—I love you, I love you so much, I can’t stop.” He keeps vowing, licking your face and sucking your cheeks free of salt, lapping it up as you weep.
