I was a contestant on The Bachelorette, except everyone was forced to wear identical suits, we were all being held hostage, and if you lost, you died.

Steve: So sweetheart, did you two have a nice bachelorette party?
Natasha: Oh, yes! Pepper ordered six crates of Vodka. They‘re all gone.
Yelena: All gone!
Steve: Ah, that‘s nice. So what did you girls talk about?
Natasha and Yelena giggle.
Natasha: Oh, just some stuff.
Yelena: Girl‘s stuff.
Steve: Oh, okay.
Steve turns around and Natasha and Yelena laugh out loud.
Steve: You were talking about my behind, weren’t you?
Natasha: No, babe, we were talking about your butt.
Yelena: Yeah, America‘s ass!! And we saluted you!
Steve: Scott Lang, one day I‘ll wring your little, anty neck for this!

Spent most of today relaxing after the the work I put in to the Emily illustration, so I thought I'd share what ended up being the final design for her outfit (before I changed the sleeves to have more flowy fabric).
Though the lower part of the skirt isn't visible in this piece, I really put a lot of thought into it!
With fabric being so hard to come by in the valley before the farmer arrived, I decided that my original idea for a swishy full-circle skirt wouldn't quite fit - but I still wanted some of that volume. So I gave her a petticoat that she could use with multiple outfits, and gave her skirt these slits where she could put smaller fabric scraps to help it flare.
I also tried to make it a practical length for her to walk around the town in without getting in her way.
Hope you like it!
