I still can't believe we have the ability to create an entire new human being & once that life comes into the world, the job has only just begun. My goal with @moonbodysoul is for women to realize how much power they have within themselves, to take their health & happiness into their own hands, & live the fullest most beautiful life possible, inside & out. I strongly believe what we put on our bodies is just as important as what we put in our bodies. Self-care is a means of self love. Once we take care of ourselves & shower ourselves with all the love we deserve, only then can we fully care for our loved ones. Healthy doesn't mean you look banging in a swim suit, it means you are glowing from the inside out, you are happy & full - able to show up & share your light with the world. Part of embracing your feminine is embracing your cycle each month and learning to honor each phase. This is something new to me and I am learning more each month. . . The phase of bleeding to ovulation is considered a time of intuition, creativity, rest, and then the phase around ovulation is a time of energy, strength, communication, sex. After a few months of paying attention I completely feel these shifts throughout the month. . . It takes time to be able to hear and feel your bodies cues since we have been programmed to stop listening for so long. But now I listen, I hear, I sense what my body needs and I treat it with the love it deserves. . . So that means when I am exhausted and my low back is killing me on day 1 of my period I REST. I do not try to eliminate the symptoms with pain pills and coffee.
