Invader Zim episode where the president of the HOA controlling Zim’s neighborhood starts forcing everyone to change their houses to conform to their standards. Zim initially complies by making his house Neutral For Real Estate Purposes in order to not stand out, but can’t stand how boring it is after the makeover and decides to overthrow the HOA president so that he can rule the neighborhood with an iron first.

The Ultimate Robot Blorbo Competition
Hello there :3, this has been a brain worm of a friend and I's for the past few days and this account finally got polls!
Entirely inspired by all of the craziness surrounding those fun polls of voting for your favorite character. This is to see out of a collection of 32 (skrinkly skrunk sopping wet cats (robots, if we're being technical here!)) contestants who is the best robotic character!
All brackets and characters have already been decided, as said before, a whopping 32 contestants! Match-ups and who goes where with the brackets was determined with a number generator. To keep bias from us two going into the competition. (I feel the P03 profile picture speaks for itself.)

So, was just wondering, what you think of corner gas shipping.
Personal not that into it (except for Handa/HankxWanda and maybe Kavis/KarenxDavis… maybe) but would love to hear your thoughts ❤️❤️

honestly? im down with it. im into it, up on it, all over it. i've never really been into shipping characters at all in the past, but i totally agree with you that hank and wanda should be a thing. they're my only serious ship, but i think a lot of different pairings could work, such as hank and karen, and brent and davis, and maybe hank and brent with a lot of work beforehand. a LOT more work than hank and wanda need. (im not big on karen and davis as a couple though. i agree with what hank says about them having a more sibling-like relationship, plus they have like a 15-year age gap so like, eeh. i like to work with canon anyway)
and actually, im working on a series of fics, which may or may not all be comics (or even completed in full LOL), and it's mainly centered around hank and features this arc where hank ends up gaining the respect of the other characters, and it gets kinda gritty and angsty, at least according to my understanding of the terms. but over the course of the story hank and wanda also end up becoming a thing. it almost goes the way davis wanted to write his garbage can story: "man hates garbage can, man learns to live with garbage can, man likes garbage can!" except replace man with wanda and garbage can (if you want) with rat boy lmao
and one more note - i feel like the names of these characters really don't work well with the usual ship name format. you could go with the invader zim community's format, and say sumn like ZADR (zim and dib romance), but say maybe HAWR or BALR (hank and wanda/brent and lacey). you could even reference the trivia zone episode and say WaHa instead, putting the first letters of their names together. but i personally like to take the wander over yonder community's route, some of their ship names that i know of are death glare and skeleton dance, essentially using words that represent the characters instead of their names. so my ship name for hank and wanda is FoxyMoron. not only is it a direct reference to the show, but it represents the characters' personalities AND it sounds like oxymoron, which is a phrase that contradicts itself in a paradoxical way, which i think kinda works here.
but anyhow. that's my thoughts :D

Weird? Zimbrane AU
For one reason or another, Zim suddenly finds himself lacking a physical body (I think it had something to do with Dib). But given that his brain and personality are essentially in a portable computer with a 10 minute countdown period before doom, he decides to upload himself into another device. That device turned out to be one of Professor Membrane’s floating monitors (it somehow was the closest ting around).
Now there isn’t much you could do as a floating screen aside from float and move. So Zim is stuck where he is cuz he didn’t have the foresight to leave the door open. Oh, did I forget to mention? He’s in Prof Membrane’s home lab.
Of course, the door would eventually have to open so Zim can finally escape and it did several times. BUT it was never open long enough for Zim to sneak out. So he’s still stuck in the lab, trying to make himself appear smaller so a certain someone wouldn’t notice him. He makes it his hobby to observe Professor Membrane do his work cuz there’s really not much you can do as a screen. What makes it worse is that he gets so entranced watching someone else “science” that he completely forgets about escaping.
Then one day, Professor Membrane finally discovers him. Was Zim some sort of spy-ware sent to share Professor Membrane’s secrets to rivals? Was Zim one of his older inventions that he neglected when more interesting things were to be done? Did Dib do this? (in some way yes).
But with Zim’s brilliance, he somehow manages to pull a convincing lie that he was one of Professor Membrane’s inventions that gained “sentience,” despite the fact that the device Zim is inhabiting has never had any sort of AI installed. Professor Membrane is just brilliant like that.
With Zim’s “trustworthiness” established, Professor Membrane strives to learn more about his invention that gained sentience. Another benefit is how Zim is able to be the perfect lab partner and keep up with all of Professor Membrane’s ideas (as fitting). Zim finally gains something similar to limbs, but they’re just floating tentacles made of metal with hands at the end (one hand is a blaster though).
Given how much Professor Membrane trusts Zim now, he gains a more active role in the Membrane household. As an assistant/”nanny.” Weep for the kids cuz they’ll have Zim in charge of them. Welp, turns out Dib was involved in Zim’s body’s disappearance. Take note to never do strange deals with metaphysical blobs.
They could’ve fought like usual but since Zim lost his body, his grudge is much larger than ever and he acts out on it by completely ignoring Dib’s existence (when not doing nanny duties) and pretending they never had a rivalry going on. (Dib is really hurt but their relationship gets better in the future).
The domesticity in the Membrane household is through the roof. As is the tension between Professor Membrane and Zim, sometimes even waffle-making leads to awkwardness cuz they think everything the other does is somehow attractive now??? Of course, Professor Membrane believes it to be morally questionable to fall in love with a “machine,” especially one supposedly invented by him. Zim steps up and tells Professor Membrane that he’s more than just some machine.
It took some time but they finally become something more serious, romance-wise. Think Karen and Plankton, cuz everyone thinks that Professor Membrane got himself a computer husband. Zim goes to PTA meetings as a floating screen. He totally smacked a soccer mom once.
Will Zim ever get back his body? Will Professor Membrane ever find out who Zim actually is? Who knows?? The only truth in this AU is that Zim is now known as Professor Membrane’s computer husband.

Okay. How about an AU where Dib is the alien and Zim is the good guy
A swap AU eh? Let’s see what we got.
-Dib, along with Gaz were made from Tallest Membranes DNA. It’s decided one of them is gonna take the reigns as Tallest one day, but which one of them that is is up for debate. To decide, they’re sent on a mission to invade separate planets and whoever conquers the planet first, wins.
-Dib is particularly invested in this competition because his theories and studies aren’t usually taken seriously, and hey, if I’m the tallest they HAVE to take me seriously! Gaz on the other hand just wants the life of a Tallest. Sit back, eat snack, and play video games, and have anyone who invokes your wrath thrown out the airlock. That’s the dream.
-Zim is a grouchy old man who works in fast food. Despite many attempts to become a secret service members of two co-presidents, Red and Purple Tallson, they constantly tell him “Look, if you work at McDonalds, we’ll give you a job eventually.” They of course, never will but he keeps breaking into their quarters and they have to keep him down somehow so they send him there and he hangs on waiting for that day, but he still wants it to come faster. Cue the day some little shit with a big head (Dibs disguise is actually good in this au) pulls a Karen on him, so Zim follows him home, planning to egg his house and WHOA! He’s an alien! If he can capture him and bring him to the presidents they’ll HAVE to make him a secret service member!
-Zim has a coworker (computer) who he always drags into his schemes and always is there to play the sad trumpets when he fails miserably. He does know a ton of obscure shit though and is always willing to give Zim info because he himself is sick of his intellect being used to flip burgers and he wants some action
-Gir is a small little orphan boy, who comes to Zim and gives him puppy dog eyes, and Zim sneaks him a burger in exchange for helping him with his latest plan to catch the Dib-beast. He isn’t really good at help, but Zim keeps him around anyways. Not because he cares about the sniveling brat of course. He can hang out on his couch though.
-Dib is still enrolled in the skool, but Zim started a promotion where McDonalds serve lunch in the cafeteria so he can go there and fistfight the tiny alien instead of working.
-Dib sometimes call Gaz to infodump about his latest scheme. Not even in a passive aggressive or malicious way, he just really wants to talk about it, and Gaz will usually wait for at least half of it before hanging up, so he calls her up

It has been a decade since the greatest conflict in Human history happened
The Great Battle between the Heroes and Villains
And the Villains won, massacring the heroes. A civil war occured that wiped out the greater Villains. Now slowly dying, Earth has become a land of mercenaries, marauders, and creatures of horror or rage. In this land, former US Soldier Randall Malloy is brought into a greater world as his life is targeted by enemies beyond his scope. Relying on his protector, the Symbiote Lesion, they must survive in a world where chaos reigns and the world is far more grey than it is black and white.
