🏵Angel’s Trumpet (Brugmansia arboria L.) is POWERFUL MEDICINE. Used by shamans in South America, this plant was introduced to the Philippines centuries ago and adopted by our own shamans to induce hallucinogenic journeying. 🌿When you touch a Makahiya plant, its leaves begin to close up and it folds down at the end of its stem. _ 🌿Fascinating to watch. ☀️GUAVA FRUIT☀️ 🌿Psidium Guajava. Family Myrtaceae. _ 🌿Guavas come in an array of varieties. IN GENERAL, pink guavas tend to be sweet and strong-smelling, similar to pear and strawberries, and are on the juicier side. The white guavas are sweet, tart, and not as pungent as the pink guavas. Texture ranges from a crisp apple to a soft creamy pulp. _ ☀️How to Clean and Eat Guava (Pictured is a large white guava, Thai variety): ✅Step 1: Wash the outside skin well of any dirt and debris. ✅Step 2: Cut the top stem off, coring around it. ✅Step 3: Cut the bottom off, where the old petals and sepals once existed. ✅Step 4: Cut through the middle, from top stem of the fruit to the bottom. You now have a cross-section of the fruit. ✅Step 5: Cut into slices. ✅Step 6: Seeds can be removed by simply using a spoon to scoop out the core. However, the fruit can be eaten in its entirety.
