Okay do y'all remember the old trope in DP fics of "Danny get's hurt by a ghost/machine and is now in a coma like state, the only way of getting him to wake up is to go inside his mind and meet different aspects of Danny's personality (sometimes it's looking through his memories)"

Okay yeah that but! Make it Dp x DC!

Maybe a war has broken out between the GZ and the GIW, conflicting information is being given to the JL from both sides, and so far their stuck between a rock and a hard place.

On one hand there's a whole species and town throwing allegations towards a Government organization about kidnapping, torture and experimentation.

Then there's the Ghost Investigation Ward saying they've been working withing legal limits, and haven't done anything wrong. It's not breaking the Meta Protection acts due to none of the "affected" having the Meta gene, and therefore not counting as a Meta.

Most GIW subjects had not survived when it had came to light, those who had "lived" could not come out of the Ghost Zone because of how fragile their cores had become, and everything was still too risky to send someone over on uncharted territories to get their statement.

The one option they had was a young boy they had found, although he was in a coma and hadn't woken up in weeks. The situation was getting more and more dire as the public and ghosts grew restless with every day that passed.

Martian Manhunter spoke to Danny while he was in his coma, however he was only able to access surface entry due to unknown reasons. This was enough to talk to the boy however, and gain permission to enter his mind and find out more about the situation they had all landed themselves into.

With written consent from both of Danny's parent's a small group of 3 JL members along with Jazz, Sam and Tucker ( who came along to clean up any confusion or questions they might have) journeyed into the mind of the young boy, not realising they are about to witness the rise and fall of a hero who was born to young.

Looks like I now have 4 favourite TV shows of all-time.

Never thought I would get into ‘Wynonna Earp’ as much as I did. Yes, WayHaught had a lot to do with it but it wasn’t the only thing I loved about watching it.

It was very much like watching a modern Xena or Buffy or Charmed. Just with guns and cowboy hats and more f-bombs than all 3 other shows combined. Yes, ‘Wynonna Earp’ is significantly shorter so the pacing is very different and there’s not as much filler as there is in the other shows - which I suppose is good for some but I’m always partial to filler material when it’s used purposefully to build on character representation and development. And for what filler ‘Wynonna Earp’ has, it is used very well. It’s the same duration time for each episode but shorter seasons.

Nevertheless, what they do with it is substantial.

It’s without a doubt my favourite ‘10’s show. I mean honestly, there isn’t much to contend with there because I am and I’ve always been a 90’s/00’s chick when TV art/entertainment was just better in all ways because there wasn’t as much pressure to produce “popular” or “successful” content and there wasn’t the constant anxiety of cancellation on a whim either.

Creators, cast and crew could have fun. And I think that’s what I detect in ‘Wynonna Earp’ the most that reminds me of these 3 other shows. Fun for everyone. Also - ensemble casts. That’s a key thing with me. Gangs, teams. More than one lead main character. And side or recurring characters that help the leads. ‘Wynonna Earp’ has all of this and so much more to it.

Therefore, it belongs here on my phone with them. With these 3 other amazing shows that own my life.

Honestly, I’m a tough person to please when it comes to TV art/entertainment. So it’s a job well done guys!

Just thought of a really interesting approach to time travel for a Stranger Things fic. It's based around the idea that the timeline for the Upside-Down paused and saved at the moment the a gateway opened again.

Imagine if every time a gateway opens, time continues forward in the Real World, but branching off from the saved checkpoint. Whenever the crew manages to close the gate, time resets to whenever it opened, except this time it plays out without the Upside-Down interferences. However, the only people to remember are those with direct exposure to the Upside Down, aka those who have been there before. (For season 1, it'd be El, Will, Nancy, Joyce, and Hopper.) If a person dies in the Upside-Down, they're gone forever, they've been taken out of the Real-world time stream. The season one timeline would reset with Barb just disappearing or dying. El has to re-escape, but thankfully, Hopper is aware and on the job of protecting her.

Alternatively, you could also do everyone only gets their memories back when the timeline catches up to their entrance to the Upside Down. Will has a few days freaking out by himself before Nancy barges into the house mid breakdown and on a mission.

Another thing that fascinates me about Jason and Bruce is the way Jay can't get over having learned that there is a line Bruce wouldn't cross for him. How he can't get over the fact that love isn't childishly perfect and pure. Jason's way of understanding and demanding love is so painfully, desperately naive, that it will always tug at my heartstrings, because don't we all just want to be loved completely?

Learning your parents, your mother or father or both, will not actually love you to the point of self-sacrifice is painful. It's not like you have the right to demand it from anyone else. And most people will take this lesson and learn that love is not what they thought it was. Will learn that love is imperfect. That love can sometimes hurt more. That love is in the end just a feeling. And no guarantee of safety or care or anything.

But Jason refuses to think that Bruce can love him at all if he isn't willing to commit the act of avenging him by killing his murderer too. Isn't that question desperately familiar? How can you love me, if you won't even do this for me? How can you still say you love me?

It's about having gone through the pain of that question yourself, before you realized that you can be loved and hurt every single second of it.

And then there's hope. The hope that yields to placing the gun in your fathers hand. And bearing yourself. And what could it have been other than a futile hope to be wrong, that led to the confrontation between the Joker, Jason and Bruce? I think somewhere there was a last effort internally in Jason to provide an excuse to himself. Trying to convince himself that it will still count if Bruce lets Jason be the one to pull the trigger. Like this can still count. This will still be love.

But then he's laying on the floor, bleeding out, and I think what died there was the last spark of hope that love is magical. After that you know, love can mean something to you, but it carries no meaning in itself. And the world becomes a little bit more gray.

It's a childish way to love, in that we all wish, somewhere deep down, that we could return to loving and being loved in this way.
