Hello hello everybody,

It is i, load.

Who is currently dealing with stuff related to that of art, where it is a being a bish.

to compensate, I'm making text posts instead, Hallelujah.

ANYWAY, i have some thoughts

about Mirage...

I feel so bad for Mirage. There was actually a lot of potential for her that wasn't used. 😞

She really could've been used in the story, theres plenty of ways of how. And interactions and scenarios she could've brought. She's a magical cat for crying out loud! An entity known as a spirit by the Daemos! AND APPARENTLY A RARE TYPE OF SPIRIT TOO! Leif said so!

And yet she does nothing. She doesn't even get double digits of screentime, i don't believe.

She ends up serving no purpose to the story. And I consider it a writing crime that the only purpose she had was for MARKETING.

She was used for being turned into a marketable plushie 😭😭😭

Additional info that confuses me:

In episode one, where Lady Grandma is the only one left and before the portal closes, She orders Mirage to protect the group, and Mirage goes through the portal.

But this scene implies that Mirage is Lady Grandmas familiar. Or Guardian.

And in episode four, where asch is about to use his fire magic on ava after she provoked him, rhys yells out to him to stop, and wittle bwack cwoud with fwoating eyes knocks the two away from eachother and then stares at them in a corner stwikeing fear into their hwearts...

Oh look its a really gorgeous kitty! (i LOVE Cloud Kitties' design gosh shes beautiful.)

But. The part that then confuses me:

Is neither Asch nor Rhys RECOGNIZE HER.

(I personally dont see it, Asch knowing her, because it seemed he was more embarrassed of showing he thought she was cute, rather than actually knowing her. Idk if it's me not getting social cues, though. Perhaps he was embarrassed to know her? Im not sure why he would be embarrassed, though... this also kinda disproves Her being his familiar that Lady Grandma ordered Instead. theres also additional interactions that are missing to prove this is the case. But back to our scheduled program; )

What? What do you mean they don't???

We have implications that she's Lady Grandma's familiar!

And perhaps Asch doesn't know his grandmother very well or isn't as close to her until more recently.

But RHYS OF ALL PEOPLE, her MOST TRUSTED student/disciple, should recognize Mirage!

And yet he doesn't! So Lady Grandma kept mirage a secret from rhys??

Why??

These spirits that tend to become Guardians seem to be general information. It wouldn't be suspicious to have a familiar?

Instead, perhaps a sign of respect, as they seem to respect spirits in general! (This would've been cool worldbuilding, a familiar binding to you being a sign you are someone to respect because they respect you.)

Unless she intended Mirage to be an ace up her sleeve? that not even Rhys could know??

*sigh* Sorry, my logical side of my brain is spiraling.

Mirage deserved better, and an actual purpose to the story!

Actually, heres some ideas;

SHES the only way Rhys and Lady Grandma could actual communicate. Rather than... that uh.. bathroom scene.. with the mirror.. and..

I uh get the reference to the mirror, alike "oh a mirror is a connection to a different dimension"

But perhaps Mirage could've acted alike the eyes and ears on earth for Lady Grandma, though maybe it leaves Lady Grandma back on daemos in a vulnerable state, so she must do this sparingly (ignoring the whole magic is going extinct bit...)

Perhaps Mirage could've translated Lady Grandma's words to Rhys via something like telepathy. ... basically, Mirage being used as a phone but with video and extra steps.

Additionally, she could've been used to letting Rhys know something has happened to Lady Grandma. That would be a fun scene.

Rhys talking to Mirage or just hanging out with her until the music stops, it goes silent for out of the blue mirage telepathecally speaks her own audible words;

"Danger. Lady Grandma's (life) is in danger."

Hahaha...

Though i like the idea Mirage does not have the ability to speak. But can communicate in something akin to like sandman or sandy from rise of the guardians. (It's a good movie, has some flaws, but it's a good watch.)

Maybe she can, but it's more like audio clippings from things she's heard to communicate.

Or even, with her dreamscape esque design...

She can communicate through dreams. Perhaps Rhys is asleep, but he dreams of Lady Grandma being in danger. Thanks to Mirage!

Actually. I would love for her to USE some abilities herself. Ya know?

Maybe she can make people fall asleep.

And so maybe Asch gets too violent at some point, and she just kinda.. knocks him out. With her tail like a baseball ba-(im jk)

Perhaps she can lay on someone and purr, and her purr magically heals people~

Maybe she can create illusions. Who knows!

But please, she deserved to be a proper character apart of the story instead of a tension breaker or marketable plushie... *sigh*

Anyway, apologies for my rambling. I just... i have SO many thoughts related to My Inner Demons. And i plan to one day speak about it in full (but possibly still in parts) when i am able to.

Hii! What are your thoughts on Rhys?

Hello!! Honestly, Rhys is a very compelling character! To be a prized pupil of Lady Grandma, and being the most intelligent of the five Daemos in general, he has the most potential to actually integrate into human society the quickest. Though, he still shares the same naivety as the other Daemos who take things literally and at face value, which can give him some faulty information that he'd wholeheartedly believe with the limited research he can do. He has no idea how lucky he is to have met Ava first and helped assimilate him and the others into human society, because if it were in the case of a more untrustworthy human being met that would more than likely lie to them (or worse), that may change them for the worse. I do at least appreciate that Rhys is thorough, though, as that also has potential for him to develop more as a person and a scholar. Plus, with him being so explorative of new things, he'd want to learn as much as he could (which, quite frankly, kinda cute, ain't gonna lie). I found it really interesting the other Daemos depend on him for information too. Even though I'm sure it is just a funny thing that the ice-elemented magic guy likes ice cream, I find that super endearing he likes ice cream, but I am curious of other Earth foods he may like. It could be a cool thing to explore one day.

All in all, I really love Rhys as a character, and wish that more was explored with him. But at least, since the fact MID only had one season (and probably will not be getting another any time soon for obvious reasons), we have The Power of Headcanons at our side!

Which f/o is the best slow dancer would you say?

O u g j...

Ok yknow what. F/o's in order of worst to best slow dancer go.

Pierce. BUT. Thats because he probably hasnt been taught how. I cant imagine the arts are very important on Daemos (sadly).

Luke. The cheesy slow two-steps they put at the end of hallmark movies? Sure, he can half-ass those. But he's too bulky and geared more towards fighting for anything more complicated than that.

Tonbo. Same case as Luke, but because he's a more traditionally-trained warrior, he's more graceful at the very least.

Reyn. He's a little bit clumsy, but a reliable lead nonetheless! He'd just be a bit awkward and shy about it too.

Masa. Claims he's "too tough" for slow dancing, but we all know this man is a chocolate chip cookie and will immediately start learning if he sees his boss (or Kats) doing it. It takes him a while to pick up properly though.

Tauro. He's a little bit of an airhead, so going slow is actually more suitable for him. He does know some quicker traditional dances from Lurelin tho, and while he's not the most graceful, he looks cute having fun.

Joe. Learned some ballroom dances while he was studying abroad in Italy :)

Leon. He used to practice it mainly to just keep up with the royalty aesthetic he had going on, but some knowledge has stuck with him over the years.

Hobie. Spidey senses make him a dependable lead.

Jackie. He's learned some steps for the sake of undercover missions, and is very alert and careful with his dance partner.

Itto. Maybe he'd prefer to be doing a more high-energy dance, but Itto knows how to *move*, and that's a constant no matter what he's doing. (Sadly, he only knows how to move, not how to look where he's going.)

X. He's a bit stiff, but gentle and intuitive, and gets into the flow pretty quickly.

Link. Learned steps from the townspeople and practices with his friends :)

Osfala. Like any future hero, Osfala trains himself the way a proper knight would, and that includes the arts. He's a beautiful dancer, but he might get a little ahead of his partner at times.

Rouxls. Yes he may be nine feet tall and suck at puzzles, but come ON. He is committed to his aesthetic and knows how to waltz like nobody's business! I bet he even practices with a mop in his down time (nerd /aff).

Herlock. The time period, come on now. But also Herlock is known for having a lot of surprises up his sleeve- he may appear clumsy, but he's actually incredibly astute and graceful. He's the great detective, after all!

Jamie. I cant imagine him NOT having taken every dance class he could get his hands on. Only problem is he prefers the more stret styles like breakdancing.

Ok! Could I request chihiro x fem reader x Gundham in a relationship? If it’s not too much, could you also add nagito with that? Like a love triangle but with four people(so I guess it’d be more like a love square lol). If that’s too much, you can just write without nagito, though it would be preferable to include him. This took a little time to get around to, but I like what I put together!

Love Can Take 5

Hope's Peak was perhaps the best thing to ever happen to you. Beautiful facilities, wonderful faculty, and some of the most beautiful people you've ever seen. Your talent as the ultimate cute girl netted you plenty of attention from the student body, but three people in particular found you so wonderful that they all tried to ask you out at once.

Chihiro Fujisaki was the most adorable person you had ever seen, and he was by far the sweetest breath of fresh air you've had since starting at H.P. You met him while in the library, and of course you thought he was a girl at first. His shy and cute demeanor made your heart flutter, and his innocent voice when he asked more about you made your heart melt.

You made it a habit to go and join Chihiro in the library or tech lab or wherever he had decided to be during free periods. You even bring him his favorite snacks sometimes after he told you off handedly.

Your friendship was very nice and sweet, but one day Chihiro seemed troubled. You asked what was wrong only to see his cheeks redden and an adorable squeak leave his mouth.

"W-well I… I wanted to tell you that I think you're really cute. And maybe, I could be your partner?"

Floored by the ask, you take some time to find your composure after the pure sugar high that sweet little voice gave you. You accept it without another thought, and promptly hug the short boy like you've never before.

You had seen eccentric people across H.P.'s campus like sand on a beach, but perhaps the most eccentric one that caught your eye was Gundham Tanaka, the self proclaimed dark lord of ice. Most people would assume animals were not allowed outside of specific areas of the school, but Gundham proved that assumption wrong. His mastery of understanding and care for animals made you think he was far sweeter underneath that brooding makeup.

While at school's micro ranch, meant as a place that would help students with animal and agricultural related talents hone their skills, you were out on a peaceful walk with Chihiro. He wanted to go and see the bunnies that were being raised there, and you certainly had no reason to not see his adorable face light up in infectious joy. Suddenly, while the two of you were mid conversation, a horse broke loose from its stable and running away in a panic! And it was headed straight from you!!

You let out a cry and try to push Chihiro out of harm's way, squeezing your eyes closed. But, there wasn't an impact. Instead, a low and rough laugh echoed through the area. You open your eyes to see Gundham, standing between you and the horse. He was gently stroking its nose and calmly speaking to it as if it could understand him.

"Foolish mortals, you walked into the lair of the Dark Abyssal Nightmare Daemos! You were fortunate I had happened to be attuned to this location at the same time!"

As a thank you, you offered to treat Gundham to a little lunch together. As the three of you conversed it was apparent Gundham was quite possibly the most compassionate person you've met. To Chihiro, Gundham was strong in not only body, but his strength of character. Even with his eccentricities, he's able to face the world.

Once more, it became a regular thing that the three of you would hang around each other for lunch or free time between classes. Gundham was helping Chihiro be stronger as a person, and you fell in love with their chemistry. Not only their chemistry, but their shared affection they started to express to you.

One day Gundham was talking about spending charms that would bind two souls together across ages. One of which being as simple as sharing half an apple with someone, or giving them a piece of cheese. It still surprised you when he cut an apple into thirds and shared the other two pieces with you and Chihiro. And he even brought some cheese to go with it.

Together with your loving boys, you made waves through the school. Nobody could believe the Ultimate Cute Girl was dating Gundham and Chihiro, and none of them would have ever expected what was to happen next. At least, not in a serious way.

Nagito Komeada, lucky student and complete unknowable enigma. Nobody wasn't unfamiliar with the lucky students, it always made headlines when one was chosen. But compared to most this one was an oddball.

One day you were running late to class and had to try and run to make it at least a minute after. As you were approaching a corner you slammed full force into Nagito. He took the fall the hardest, but miraculously he caught your head before it hit the hard floor, and his hand took the brunt of that hit.

In your embarrassment you thank him quickly and bolt for class, not realizing that your phone fell out of your pocket and shattered the screen. Nagito picked it up and considered his options, and he decided to take it down to the technical building. With a little convincing he had a peer who was talented with electronics replace the screen with a new one, and it was like it never even happened.

You of course didn't even know about it until after class, when Nagito was waiting for you in the hallway.

"You know, you should be more careful when you run into somebody; you never know what you could drop."

He explains what happened in detail which convinces you he didn't steal it. You offer a gift to him as thanks, but he declines. Instead, he asks only for you to use his kind gesture as a stepping stone of your own hope. Nagito doesn't wait long for a response, bidding you a good day and walking off down the hallway.

But some strange fate, he kept appearing wherever you were. It got so strange you were afraid he would just turn up in your house, but luckily that never happened. Eventually you learned his classes had been shuffled due to a weirdly timed series of events that made the teachers have to make large changes mid semester.

During your more frequent interactions, you started to like the sound of Nagito's voice. His quiet rasp saying silly or sweet things slowly started to make your head spin, and you really enjoyed the idea that he was always around if you wanted to talk.

It only felt natural that he just started to be part of your relationship after several months of this strangely comfortable friendship. The others had some questions and boundaries they wanted to set, but Nagito was happy nonetheless. Each of you were loved equally by each other, and that's something you felt like the luckiest person in the world for.

FINAL THOUGHTS ON MOONSHINE

Yanno, I have to say that I had fun watching this from the very beginning. I always love it whenever Seungho played a character who would be so shy towards their love interest and being comedic while at it. I mean, he tend to mostly play upright characters, in which at times he tend to play it very seriously like in Ruler , Remember and Memorist... but I also love it when he do characters that could be so clumsy and naive like in this drama, My Strange Hero and I'm not a Robot.

Hyeri also did well for I think her first time doing sageuk (?) and as much as her acting didn't quite fit the way characters in sageuk usually have (as in their speech patterns) the drama played it as being the result of her having to live a rough life after her father's death. Thus explaining why her behaviour and speech had been so rough. And you do get to see Roseo improving in her manner of speech and behaviour as being around Young and Aejin gradually rubbed off to her.

I love Bae Yooram. You can blame it on Ruler I guess, but I always look forward to ANY scenes of Haesu and Young together. Seriously I love him being the comic relief guy... even back in Ruler.

As much as I'm not really that much invested with Pyo's storyline... I really love Aejin so anything featuring her was amazing. I love the fact that despite Pyo being so all over Roseo, it was Aejin who ended up setting him straight to not just sit and do nothing and let Young die.

I have to agree that what happened to Unsim and Sim Heon was kinda anticlimatic (not to mention abt Lady Park/Daemo), like it would have been nicer had Unsim and Sim Heon team up with Roseo-Young gang. But hey, we can't always have everything the way we want.

I'm fine with how the drama ended. As expected, once the goal of having the alchohol prohibition lifted... there wasn't much else to be told (to extend the storyline even more). Though as much as it was nice to see how everyone had fared after the ban lifted (and most of them were no longer criminals and co-conspirators), I do wish the drama could have expanded it a bit more.

I mean, I get it that the few backstories about Young's mum was to establish the reason why he might be a bit too upright as well as give reason on how he ended up at Mangwol temple and end up witnessing Hoyeon's murder (as well as the whole thing about him being from a no-name family), but I do wish the drama had invested a bit more on Young's backstory. Like what's the deal with having explicitly tell us that Lord Nam wasn't his real father like are you seriously telling me that THAT was done JUST to misdirect people about the real identity of Jannabi's son and nothing else? But yeah, I wished we get to see Lord Nam again--I mean it was funny to see him getting a week's worth of shocking news revolving Young and having such rollercoaster ride in a minute. XD. Like the old man did seem very dedicated to making sure Young succeed in life (as if it was his sole mission he had to do in place of Young's mum... and whoever had been his dad.) Like man, I wished to see more of Young's flashback with his mum and the child actor IS cute okay I admit it!

That said, I wished we get to see more of Queen Yeon being the general she was. I mean we do get a fair share of her in the last four episodes taking action and stuff but I wish to see more of her finally be able to form better relationship with the king, like the king had misunderstood her loyalties for so long. And I wished we get to see her giving birth to a prince finally. Like after all the earlier fuss over her being pregnant, it felt lacklustre to only hear about it in passing like some unimportant fact. Also, as much as dethronement of Pyo was expected, was it that hard to let us see him and Aejin get married? (like this stuff was quite typical of daily dramas ao why not have it in this?)

Also really... you'd think that being the main characters that drama would have more focus on Young and Roseo? I mean, sure with Pyo's dethronement Young was no longer his tutor... but what about his Head Inspector job at Saheonbu? Did he take a long study leave or what? Or was he put on reserve for the future as tutor of the new CP once the baby grew up so that being reason that he was on 'holiday' atm? I mean he did put much effort during his exam last time so don't tell me he need to retake his exams again to get back into Saheonbu? Haha.

Though have to say that I like his proposal. Like that plan was put on hold last time when Sim Heon stabbed him so it was nice to finally see that comb being put to use. Also Roseo's doing the kabedon on him again made nice parallel to the first time they did it. So yeah... cos of that I can't really complain too much.

Also had to agree about wishing we could see more of Siheum thinking more about Sim Heon and realizing that perhaps there was another reason why Sim Heon's mum lied about being raped (like I assume that the scene was when it was found out that she was pregnant, thus being the reason why she lied) which was to protect her baby. Like it would be nice if we get to see Siheum realising that it wasn't that people had always abandoned him but it's because he himself had been pushing people away.

That said, I can understand why we can't have the drama a bit longer. I mean... we're still in a pandemic after all so we do have to think of people's safety during filming etc. Not to mention the fact that this drama had been prefilmed way earlier ahead of airing, meaning that it's unlikely for them to be able to add more scenes plus they're filming scenes out of order. Regardless, I still love how beautiful the whole drama had been. Like the visuals are really pretty. Have to say that Seungho tend to have quite a good luck in getting into dramas with pretty visuals. Like aside from Moonshine you can see pretty scenes in Ruler, My Strange Hero, I'm not a Robot, Remember etc. And even if Memorist didn't have much romance you can still see some pretty good fx with the whole psychometric scenes.

Well, that's all. I think I wrote long enough already. Time to watch all the other backlogged series I still have cos aside from Through the Darkness, I don't really follow any other currently airing show rn.

Pierce is such a self-sacrificial idiot; the number of times the others have had to tackle him in the middle of a battle so that he doesn’t try to take a hit for them is innumerable. Asch is considering getting Pierce some serious therapy.

Even Leif is very affectionate, in his own Leify way. Have your rocks/books/gifts sorted in a specific way? Leif will mess them up so he can sort them with the other, and thus learn how it’s sorted. It takes a while for the others to get used to the way Leif loves, but they get there.

Consensual Spell Pool Yeeting™

^When Pierce and Rhys are clearly tired it’s tradition to yeet them in the spell pool. It’s also not uncommon for Leif to yeet his boyfriends in there, just because.

Asch still can’t beat Pierce in a sparring match. He tries. But Pierce is better.

Everyone panics when Asch shows any sign of injury or sickness. He was born an ylkys, after all, so one can never know if he’s dealing with aches and coughs still.

Everyone showers Asch with affection when he’s being too hard on himself as a leader. All of the affection.

Noi is a bottom. Rhys is mostly a bottom, but he can top if pressed. Pierce is a switch. Leif is a top. Asch rarely participates, but when he does, he's a top.

Rhys Appreciation Day™. Surprisingly, it was started by Leif.

Each of the boys gets their own Appreciation Day to just be loved.

Wisp (OC) x Female!Reader Headcanons

-People on Daemos thought that she would know about the earth.

-Because she was a half Daemos half human.

-When she was on earth, She was a little confused at first and wandered around the streets.

-A few hours later she found two girls on two trees and…

-WAIT MORE DAEMOS ARE HERE AS WELL?!

-She hid her horns and talked to the daemos to calm down.

-And then prince Asch burned the two trees.

-Aaaaaand the two girls passed out and we bring the two girls back to they’re apartment.

-Wisp knows a lot about the earth but not the entire thing.

-When they got home she immediately took the H/C-haired girl to the couch.

-When the E/C-eyed girl woke up with her roommate...

-Wisp and the others were all just strolling the house.

-Rhys explained everything to them but the pink-eyed girl didn’t understand.

-When they got they’re free-time,

-Wisp was talking to the girls.

-They’re name was Y/N and Ava.

-Later they all went to sleep.

-Ava was sleeping alone while Wisp was sleeping with Y/N.

-Noi said Ava was her boyfriend for some reason....

-She then was super happy that tommorow was her birthday!
