Helluva Boss Tickle Headcannons:
Stolas:
Super ticklish despite not being tickled very much in his younger days, (Blitzo is definitely the first one to discover this weakness when they were kids and never really forgot how ticklish Stolas was, or is, for that matter.)
Is a switch, but is definitely is more lee leaning! He enjoys the bondage aspect of it and definitely experiences the most anticipatory giggles.
Has one of the most adorable laughs ever. It doesn't take much to get him laughing. He has such a high-pitched laugh that gets squeaky if you get the right spots.
Worst spots are wings and beneath his feathers.
As a ler, my goodness is this guy fucking RUTHLESS.
Is a demon, so expect to receive whatever tickling is dished out tenfold in return.
His feathers and claws are horrendously evil tickle tools and the mothefucker KNOWS it.
Uses tickling as a torture method for those who most deserve it (cough cough, Blitzo).
Blitzo:
Regularly involved in childhood tickle fights with Fizz. Used to win most of the tickle fights until the accident happened.
So playful and silly, he was the first to initiate a tickle fight with Stolas and the first to realize what a ruthless tickler Stolas is.
Also a switch, very needy as a lee and super teasy as a ler.
Surprisingly a very gentle ler unless otherwise provoked.
Definitely tickles Stolas the most of anyone because Stolas absolutely loves it. Also frequently tickles Millie and Moxxie but mostly Moxxie because he deserves it. Doesn't DARE tickle Luna (he doesn't have
Most ticklish spots include ribs, tummy and underarms.
Super silly laugh, loves provoking others to tickle him, and is so shameless about it, the little shit.
Millie:
Is ticklish but is much more of a ruthless ler. Mostly tickles Moxxie to get him to relax or not be so uptight.
Absolutely ruthless. RUTHLESS.
Not only does she know Moxxie enjoys being tickled, but she encourages the other IMP's to tickle him.
Doesn't mind being tickled by Moxxie but will destroy anyone else who tries.
The worst spots are her hips, thighs, and knees.
Has a bright, carefree laugh.
Will 10/10 dish out absolutely unholy revenge to those who dare to tickle her.
Moxxie:
Is such a lee! 100% lee. Is baby.
It doesn't take much to get him all flustered, just a few well placed pokes, a wink, or teasy voice.
Prefers to be tickled by Millie but is the frequent victim of gang tickles. Not that he minds.
Is wayyyy more susceptible to gentle and teasy tickles.
His back is an absolute death zone. Absolutely cannot handle back massages AT ALL.
Screechy and screamy laughter. AHAHAH.
Hides his face a lot, or at least he tries when tickled. Lol. He can't even help it.
Will literally beg to not be tickled.

Ozzie:
WE AREN'T gonna pretend this man isn't ticklish.
I mean, he is. Has a super boisterous laugh.

I feel like he's got tons of ler energy. He tickles Fizz so much, lmao. Surprise tickles, tickle games, tickle hugs, teases, etc. ASDFGHJKL. Fizz eats it up, of course.
Is kinda ticklish in a couple secret places only Fizz knows about. I mean, I don't even know, and Fizz didn't tell me lmaooo. It's a secret, do with that info what you wish.

Fizz:
Is such an adorably ticklish imp.
Arguably, the most ticklish character.
Literally used to be nearly tickled to death by Blitzo as kids. And ganged up on by the other imps. Was pretty much defenseless lol.
Blitzo used to knock him down a few pegs for getting all the attention by tickling the everloving snot out of him.
Literally never won tickle fights until after the accident. The robot arms improved his tickle fight game tenfold.
His robot arms are indeed also ticklish but offer an advantage in tickle fights by being able to stretch or tickling people far away.
Bottom ribs, hips and sides are his worst spots.
Cannot handle his ribs being counted. (Ozzie found this out, and the poor guy can't rest ahah).
Wheezy laughter that eventually goes silent, and he also thrashes a lot.
Uses his robot arms for tickling and bondage purposes with Ozzie and to also get well deserved revenge on Blitzo, haha.

Stella is “The most evil character in the entire series” right…
They’re very much same, and that works! They both suck. Two selfish petty spoiled brats. It’s a new dynamic we’ve never seen before. Making her the domestic abuser #189 in the series just to minimise stolas’ creepiness and shove stolitz in my poor unwilling eyeballs is bad writing
Since she is the big bad bitch 💅 the final boss of the universe apparently- stopping the beautiful holy grail it’s not rape-if-they-both-get-off Stolitz let’s morally compare her to Stolas and Blitz (this will contain spoilers!)
- Wants husband dead for cheating.
Im sorry but given how humiliated she feels and how unapologetic he is about the cheating in between wimpy excuses like ‘i couldnt find a motel’ and pretending she feels no betrayal when she’s screaming at him that she does, embarrassment is a form of betrayal this makes sense? Did she give and then get it slapped back in her face? Yes. But her motive makes sense.
She threw a silly public I hate my marriage party loudly discussing her sex life and so did he, a loud divorce party. And he discussed sex and being horny in front of his 17 year old daughter. Ignoring Blitzs non stop resistance and lack of consent. They should both be embarrassed of themselves. The main protagonist (It’s supposedly blitz by the way not stolas) is an assassin himself. Stolas has hired this exact assassin to kill plenty of people for him. I just don’t value Stolas’ life as superior to the imp lives he takes the same way that he values himself. And he’s been fine with putting Moxie and Millie “the littler ones who aren’t Blitzy” in danger many times without even acknowledging them as people. Screw this guy. In this show what Stella does is in-line with the morality considering what IMPs job is. Remember those guys?? They specialise in killing cheaters, Blitz has probably killed countless cheating husbands in and outside of hell, next!
- Loudly airs their dirty laundry about how much she hates being married to Stolas and doesn’t want to have sex with him and she’s glad she had a baby quick enough to not have to pretend to be attracted to him cause she finds him pathetic (but he actually is, anyone who abuses the weak then cries in self pity when someone his own size says something, is very pathetic)
How dare she not want to fuck him. How. dare. How dare she resent the man she was forced to marry and sleep with. Especially since. He is sex personified.
Just look at that sexy face—urgh sorry I just threw up a little in my mouth.

- SO, the “appeal” of Stolas is that he is full of repressed spicy gay barely consensual racist coded desires, and he will get them at any cost. Which appeals exclusively to lovers of the forbidden fruit trope, and makes the object of his lust and many queer viewers like myself feel…sick. He loves his daughter who is becoming more miserable by the day by his neglect and (🚨!) is going to turn into angry “You can’t be with him! Gasp you love him don’t you! It’s him or me!” Elsa in the finale. I’m so sorry Octavia. Three times they’ve done this to you. Blitz literally bullies Moxie worse than Stella bullies Stolas and I am not exaggerating. Loona abuses Blitzø worse than Stella. I care more about my boy Moxie who’s only crime is being too silly sometimes. T - T Stolas however is a coward who sexually and violently preys on, condescends, and exploits those he sees as beneath him. This is mainly our main characters? Who we are supposed to root for? Who he constantly puts in harms way for his own preferences even though he has an ARMY, PROPHETIC VISIONS AND CAN PETRIFY ENEMIES
Stella finds his sexualising of imps disgusting - and she has a point—cause she’s also bigoted but honestly that’s better than having an imp sex plaything like Stolas does while maintaining the bigoted attitude that has destroyed Blitzs entire self worth—oh wait according to Seeing Stars he’s into it now ok? Oh but in Oops he’s mad at his exploitation again? BUT HE LAUGHS AT HIS GORE JOKES! Season 2 writing sucks when the feathered twig ass is involved

Hunter Noceda
Hunter probably knew Stolas! reader when he joined the Hexquad or through Willow, because I don't see it as very likely that he had friends in the emperor's coven (I'll do a drabble about that one day).
to try new things (and be away from his fiancée) Stolas! reader decided to join the Flyer Derby team, which was a surprise in itself because he seemed like someone...very...weak, at least in Hunter's eyes.
but the demon quickly became almost the opposite, summoning monstrous specters with his haunted items and his book (grimoire?) and honestly left him in disrepair.
although Stolas!lector was definitely "weak" in other ways, mostly because he was so SOFT.
He had great destructive potential, yes, but when I got to talk to him, he was so damn nice that it was suspicious (to him).
At first Hunter pretended to be angry at the constant reader talk, but little by little he lets down his walls and joins in a little in their talks, especially if they have to do with magic.
Hunter has a LOT of questions about how Oracle magic works ESPECIALLY from Stolas' family! Reader, how do you see the future with such precision? How do you control so many monsters at the same time? they might even compare research notes :D
When Hunter comes into trust with the reader, it is quite easy for him to see through him and how things affect him. like the thing with his fiancée for example.
Now, Hunter, unlike the following cases, firmly believes that THE FIANCE is the problem of everything and is willing to go for blood (he's like, how dare you make my friend cry?)
Hunter PERSONALLY doesn't think it's appropriate for Stolas! Reader and his fiancée try to be friends, make things happen? Sure, but being friends after all the bad times they've been through? titan no...
As for the terrible father thing...he can relate...A LOT.
Similar to what he did with Gus, he would share his experience with the reader and try to make him feel better.
but MOST OF ALL he goes into big brother mode when the reader is around his father (Hunter would have an inhuman amount of BEEF on the man)
Hunter knows what it's like to be manipulated by the person who's SUPPOSED to take care of you and someone you ADMIRE on top of it, so if necessary he gives the reader a reality shock when they need it.
Does being like Stolas include being fluffy and like an Owl? If so, there is no WAY Hunter doesn't end up sleeping (whether on purpose or accidentally) on the reader's soft fur (he gets very embarrassed later)
I imagine Stolas! reader tends to be very VERY dense and Hunter would definitely make some harmless jokes about it (like when someone is BLATANTLY flirting with him and he's just like "do you know what the differences are between frogs and toads? :D")
Reader's gardening hobby definitely helps him serve as a matchmaker between Hunter and Willow, whether leaving them alone on purpose or leaving a nice atmosphere ;)
Despite this, Hunter definitely thinks that reader plants are a bit too nippy for his good 😅
Hunter doesn't understand much about Astronomy or how it relates to the Oracle, but he will happily listen to the reader talking about it and tries to listen and understand as best he can. instead the reader hears about his fixation on Lobos :D
When Hunter and Willow are together, Stolas! The reader becomes his third wheel, or rather, his "practice son" is quite funny.
In general you could say that Hunter is slightly more protective of Stolas! reader for his naivety and gullibility, but he does not believe that he is any less capable for that.
He is still a great friend to him :3
Willow Park
Willow knew a little about Stolas reader, precisely because of how relevant his family was and that apparently the boy would be in her same year.
low key, Willow was nervous about this news at first, she was afraid of running into Stolas! reader for fear that he would become a Bully on her similar to Amity and her group in the first season.
but one day she ended up drinking with Stolas! reader as he ran to class, both dropping several things.
To Willow's surprise, Reader was really friendly and apologized A LOT for bumping into her, helping her pick up the books while talking about how he was new and got lost easily and how his locker tried to eat his hand.
In addition, he was completely amazed when he saw the copies of Erbology books that Willow had for her plant class, and he began to ask her MANY questions.
What were the types of plants like? Do they have carnivorous plants? Can you see them? Can you feed them? Do they have species from all the islands? and the list goes on..
Willow was so stunned by all the questions and the fact that who she thought would be her worst nightmare turned out to be a super innocent kid that she almost forgot she had class.
After that, Stolas reader would spend his time looking for Willow to talk about plants, to his joy and Willow's dismay, who on the one hand couldn't say that he disliked reader, on the contrary, he was very sweet and friendly, but he feared this. It would end in him being swallowed.
But when he met his "fiancee" with certain frustration problems...
At first Willow tries to help Stolas reader hide, but eventually tries to get them on good terms at least.
If it works, great!
If it doesn't work and you still hate each other, well, you can try that plant that reader has been studying so much--
reader is very supportive of Willow with her grubgy Flyer career! He is going to encourage her with his carnivorous plants with signs to encourage her🤣
Willow helps with Stolas Reader Gardening Hobbies!, whether it's reminding him when to water the plants, helping him get rid of the weed that bites him, or even growing plants he wants when he's feeling especially down.
Stolas reader has even tried to use his Oracle magic to make Willow get better grades, sometimes it works and other times they spoil half their lives, at least they know they will be friends in 20 years!
Willow is very emotionally supportive of EVERYONE, this does not exclude Stolas! reader, not only with his complicated fiancée, but also with the fact that his father is a TERRIBLE role model and treats him TERRIBLE.
Willow has tried to suggest that the reader take two classes, both Oracle and Plants, but the reader is TOO afraid of her father to tell her that she doesn't want to study what he says, which leaves Willow quite sad.
One thing's for sure, there are sleepovers at the Park house! and definitely try to include the reader in plans with friends as much as possible.
just like Willow is a safe place for Reader, Reader is a safe place for Willow, they are each other's shoulders to cry on, in a way.
Reader is definitely the ultimate shipper Hunlow (although he threatened Hunter that if he did anything to Willow he would put a curse on her, tear her to pieces and feed it to his plants. Hunter understood).
Both can be terrifying when angry or using all their power, although they are usually rays of sunshine.
In short, two rays of sunshine that help each other to relate to the group (don't mess with them, they are much more dangerous than they look)💚
Amity Blight
ohhhhh boy, she understands ☠️
She probably know Stolas! reader thanks to his parents being friends and/or business colleagues, similar to Boscha's parents.
Odalia insisted that Amity try to be her friend so that she could improve her relationship with her family (a very important one among the covens, especially the Oracle's).
So Amity took note and prepared herself for a capricious and pedantic prince, similar to Boscha.
Imagine his surprise when Stolas! reader ended up being the complete opposite, someone very reserved, shy and wanting to make REAL friends.
If we talk about Amity from the first season, at first she had difficulty accepting Lector, precisely because of his reputation, but they found that they had several things in common.
books for example.
Amity ended up running into Reader several times in the library while working, mainly in the reptile and botany areas, which seemed strange since he was in Oracle classes.
They would end up having conversations about frogs and what they were like outside of the boiling islands, it turns out that the reader's family could use Oracle magic even in the human world, but he loves to see the "rare" specimens they had, like the opossums or giraffes.
Being the least mean to him, Reader spent his time stuck next to Amity, and she eventually warmed up to him and she would keep him company, even open up to him.
He definitely knows about her arranged marriage, and he didn't like how it scared him, he can bet that on a couple of occasions Amity threw her away with her abobinable.
(although I think it is not impossible for him to accept her as a friend of himself and the reader if he shows he really wants to change or at least try not to take out his frustration on the reader)
defends him when someone tries to take away from his abilities as a member of the Oracle, he's like "do you think you know more than HIM??" and it definitely gets into hands sometimes😅
Amity HATES the reader's father, she considers him to be even worse than ODALIA. What kind of father commits his 14-year-old son?? (she hopes he finds out that they have been engaged since they were 11😬) and can't stand the way he talks about his son . If I could, I would send you the Alador abobinables.

She highly encourages reading hobbies, especially plants and reading, you can even read to the kids together!
she defends Stolas a lot! reader from her family when she has to see them, especially from her father, if she and the reader's fiancée get along at this point, they will most likely make an alliance to protect Reader.
Amity even tells him about Azura's books that she reads! and compare notes and drawings they make of the characters
Listen to any babbling or rant that the reader has to give, whether it be frogs, plants or prophecies he saw on his own in the stars, astronomy, etc. Even if she doesn't understand shit, she just nods and won't let anyone take away that beautiful moment from the reader.
Imagine Amity introducing Luz to the reader! she would be SO happy to see that they would both get along because they are "nerdy" in different ways, but that they complement each other well.
I think Amity is definitely rooting for Stolas! reader to confess directly if he has a crush, after all, he is cute, comes from a good family and has a big heart, who wouldn't want to be with him? It even helps you make a note!
She wants the reader to find REAL love and not be forced to have a partner for something like status.
She supports the reader all the way when she decides to reveal herself to her family, she knows how scary it is, so she even offers him not only a shoulder to cry on, but also to stay with her for a while.
She tells him how brave he was and how happy she is for him.
Overall, rich, misunderstood best friends who stick together 💜

I do actually have a few! Ask and you shall receive, my friend! I hope you enjoy😋
“Oh shit. Am I in danger right now?”
When he was young, the prince built little communities for the toads and frogs that he found within the garden sometimes. This is what sparked his joy for being in the garden and he still tries his best to make the palace garden comfortable for the small amphibians that he sometimes comes across there.
Despite being a powerful demon, Stolas hates horror movies because he scares far easier than he cares to admit.
He has bald spots from where he's pulled out his feathers during panic attacks or times of overwhelming stress but learned to hide them well over the years.
Stolas is easily excited by small things which can easily be seen through his daughter’s social media where she frequently posts pictures of her father reacting in childlike wonder to things most people wouldn’t think twice about.
Baby Stolas was bathed in a bird bath the same way babies are bathed in the sink sometimes when they're really small.
Sometimes Stolas will sleep with his old stuffed animal. It brought him comfort as a child and though he's a bit embarrassed to admit it to most people, it still brings him comfort after nightmares.
He understands his duties as a member of the Goetia family, but he always wanted to be an artist or botanist rather than a prince.
Stolas’ primary love language is physical touch which tends to make him a wonderful, affectionate partner and friend…. Unfortunately, the prince also experiences touch starvation quite easily.
The abuse he took from Stella worsened after she became pregnant with Octavia because she soon found he would give in to any demand she had if it meant keeping their daughter safe if she even acted as if she might threaten the child in some way.
He suffers from migraines due to poor vision because he's struggled with focusing both sets of his eyes at once since he was a kid. His father never took him seriously and he was often teased by others about having one set of eyes closed to both help him focus on things and get rid of his migraines…. He still does this sometimes when he's alone because he's still afraid of being teased or seen as weak.
He has a deep appreciation for classical music, but he loves dancing around to trashy pop music more than he likes listening to the classics people are used to hearing him listen to.
Blitz can be quite rough with him in bed and despite enjoying it for the most part, he wants something more… sensual sometimes. He had hoped it would be after their date at Ozzie's.
He's put off teaching Via magic because he doesn't want her to grow up just yet but he's found that their magic lessons are often some of their best bonding activities and he learns much more than he thought he would about his daughter with each lesson they stumble through.
The demon prince is still afraid of the dark. Only his daughter knows.
He uses his human form to attend pride parades in the human realm. He loves it and has made many human friends in the years he’s attended.
Stolas doesn’t use his full demon form very often because despite how well he hides it, it takes a lot of energy and it leaves him fairly exhausted.
Unbeknownst to everyone aside from Blitz, Stolas keeps a journal of poetry he writes.
Despite the fact that they are one of the lowest classes species in hell, Stolas doesn’t necessarily view imps in that manner because he sees himself as having been raised by them since he was raised more so by the imps who served his family than his parents.
He has a major sweet tooth and chocolate ice cream with whipped cream and cherries on top is his favorite sweet treat.
Stolas tends to his garden daily and has named each and every one of the plants he cares for.

With how Lucifer is now gonna be Stolas 2, Lilith Stella 2, with how Adam is essentially Mammon 2 and if Viv starts to want to imply Mammon is sympathetic therefore might imply Adam is too, I have the sinking feeling that Hazbin will try to have Adam and Lucifer both be "victims" of that bitch Lilith who played them, who left Adam for more interesting pretending to love Lucifer thinking he woumd be greater than Adam but now that he is getting "weak" lost her respect, and with how deep Viv's writing is she will say in a sentence heavy in swears how she actually always "fucking hated these losers" and was there for herself. And the message will be "fun misogyne and literal Devil ally and find solace in the fact they both were used by an evil woman who was created only to give babies to the former and was the real Devil all along >:("

I was ganna say this in my part 2 review of season 2 for Helluva, but…..fuck it, I’ll say it now. The major thing that I hated about Stolas’s song is that Viv just…..paints him as the victim. AGAIN. Yeah, the visuals are pretty, and I love the purple and blue, (as well as Bryce has a good singing voice) but putting that aside this song is….not good. Not just because the lyrics are weak and meh, but because Stolas is just MOPPING about his situation, when he honestly isn’t the victim here, Blitz is, at least on the accounts of their relationship. Don’t get me wrong, Blitz was also using Stolas for his personal gain, but if you’re going to finally call out Stolas and confirm that he DID treat Blitz as a toy and nothing else, why are you having him sing a song about how sad he is that Blitz is upset at him, when he should be admitting what he did was wrong? Hell, Stolas doesn’t even seem like he knows what he did was in the wrong, instead of him actually owning up to his faults, the song instead is just “Oh Blitzy I loved you so much, life was so good when we were together but now I realize you never loved me so I’m the fool for thinking that woe is me!”- like….they have the nerve to give Stolas a reason to be sad when he 100% had it coming, his own actions got him in this mess in the first place, and people need to stop babying him and treating him like a helpless child. Also, way to be late to the party, I find it funny how he only NOW realizes that Blitz never loved him, despite Blitz himself constantly making it clear that he doesn’t like him a million times before. Another problem is that the writing is just flip flopping. They’ll say how Stolas treats Blitz nothing other than a toy, yet the writing makes it seem like Stolas did genuinely care about Blitz, (even though he NEVER showed genuine love and instead just Lust) and Blitz is the one pushing him away. I just don’t understand why these writers can’t fully commit themselves to go all the way. If you’re going to call a character out on their bullshit, then stop trying to excuse it or make us feel bad for said character. Have them realize that they fucked up, and move on. But of course not. We have to have another sad sappy song that somehow makes STOLAS the victim in their relationship when he is NOT. He’s anything but. And again, the nerve of the writers to have Stolas mope about how their relationship is a “comfortable lie” and how he’s the fool for thinking that Blitz loved him as if Stolas was the one who was manipulated in this relationship is just INSULTING. I don’t like Blitz, and again, he was using Stolas as well, but Stolas needs to take accountability for how he treated Blitz, and yes, I’m aware that it looks like he’ll be giving Blitz an Asmodean crystal to get to earth and will cut ties with him, but still, Stolas’s song literally paints Blitz out to be the bad guy, just so we can feel bad for Stolas and…..I don’t.

I kind of adore his boiler suit (is that what it's called?) Like, unironically, I love it. His entire army wears high fashion and he's dressed like he's going to his blue collar job.

Chapter 62: Blitzo meets the new hand at the ranch before the start of the Games.

Blitzo flicked at the suspenders tugged above his shirt, feeling them quiver in the process- it was, frankly, a miracle that they hadn’t snapped when forced to stretch across all of the baby belly. To be fair, he had gotten ones that had extra give in them, so they at least didn’t feel like they would die a horrible death on him. He’d dolled himself up as much as his body would currently allow before Stolas insisted on opening a portal a little closer to the ranch, albeit next to the barn. (Not that Blitzo was about to complain, considering he’d probably be standing up for a larger portion of today than he had been recently.)
“Blitz!” Millie waved over to him, and he cracked his back before walking over, feeling his belly sway a little with every step. Fuck, he’d be glad when he could carry the kid in his arms, that seemed like it would be better for balance. Still, he could feel a faint buzz through his veins and his mouth still had an aura of lingering sweet iron as she tilted his head. “How are ya?”
“Never better, Mills.” He cracked a grin. “So, I heard there were some kind of games here- why didn’t you tell me? I should take that off your next paycheck, you know daddy loves that kinda shit.”
“The Pain Games?” The voice was somewhat rough, and Blitz spun to see a cowboy imp turn away from an absolutely gorgeous fire-stallion that immediately had his heart do triple-time. Was he related to Millie, and, follow-up question, would he be allowed to pet him?
“Yeah, those.” Blitzo nodded as the stranger closed some of the distance between them even though he stayed a few steps away, eyes darting up and down Blitzo’s body with a twitch of his lips. Right now, he was just an obstacle to horse-time, though. “So, can I-”
“Bombproof doesn’t like anybody touching him but me, ain’t that right, boy?” He gave the horse a pat and he nickered, nuzzling his muzzle into his side. Blitzo slumped a little at that, but the cowboy clicked his tongue.
“She said that the boss was stayin’ somewhere else for the night... you must be it then, huh?”
“Yep! Mill’s one of our best.” The fact that there were only four of them and three on active duty didn’t necessarily need to be shared, after all. “You one of her brothers?”
“He’s the new hand,” Millie said with a little nod. “Striker, was it?”
“Sure enough, little lady.” he said, nodding back with a little wink at her. “She’s been telling us about how business is going well- being able to wrangle that all up is real impressive, especially with you... full like that.” His tail flicked with a rattling noise as he folded his arms, and Blitzo beamed with pride.
“Once we got the groove, there’s a never-ending supply of sinners who’ve got beef with people they left behind, so hey, it’s just a matter of getting them into the office, y’know?”
“Right, of course. Does that ditzy royal you got up through know you’re...” Striker grimaced a little for half a second before he swallowed it back and waved at his middle, and Blitzo froze for a moment before waving a hand in response.
“It’s- y’know- it was a one night thing, I’ve got a weakness for bad boys so I let ‘em go in raw, and I’m already a dad so what’s one more, right? She’s gonna be a strong little bitch, though! Still need to pick a name, but maybe I’ll get struck by lightning on that soon.” Something else, think of something else- “So! Games! You already knew about ‘em, so you gonna join in?”
Striker took to the sudden switch with ease, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. “I’ll do one better- I’m going to win.”
“Bold claim, big boy.”
He grinned with one eye narrowed, gold tooth glinting in the daylight. “Trust me, sir, you’ll see.”
“And they’re starting soon!” A new voice called out from near the front of the house, and Blitzo turned to see a taller imp that he knew he’d seen a picture of before. This one he was pretty sure was Millie’s sister. Mallie? S something? Stellie? Sally- Sallie May, that was it. She turned to him, unable to help a little snicker. “You joining in, daddy boy?”
“Hey, are you insinuating I can’t, sweet-cheeks?”
“I’m saying you could drop into the pig pen and I might not notice at first.” Still, there was a mischievous twinkle to her eyes that he liked immediately.
“Depending on what chow you toss in there, maybe I wouldn’t even complain, this not-so-little bitch has me starving all the time.” Blitzo tapped his belly, and she laughed before walking out to join them.
“I’ll see whoever’s not a pussy at the starting line.”
“Hey, hey, that better not be aimed at me!” Millie protested, and Blitzo’s head swiveled.
“Wait, what?”
“Long story, but I’m not allowed to join in anymore,” she muttered as Striker headed down the road with Sallie May. “I’ll be cheerin’ on Sallie, at least, she’s gotta hold up the family name since they made a stupid ‘too many deaths in one round’ rule.”
“That sounds like they just couldn’t handle you.” He ruffled Millie’s hair, and she nudged at his side.
“See, you get it.”
“So, is Moxx coming?”
“Yeah, he was just finishing up in his room, he’ll be down any-”
“Good, sir, you’re here!” Moxxie stuck his head out the front door before jogging over. “Someone locked me in on accident!”
“That was probably one’a the little ones, they’re rascals." Millie said. "Did you pick the lock?”
“Luckily it was an easy one.”
“I see my lessons paid off!” Blitzo repeated the hair-ruffling on Moxxie, who waved him off.
“Anyway, I heard one of them say something about some games before the festival?”
“That’s where we’re heading now. Anything that puts ‘pain’ and ‘games’ together is either gonna be fantastic or awful, so we’ll see when we get there,” Blitzo said as they started walking. “So, Mills, as the local expert, care to spill the details?”
“Sure! Well, first they usually start with the climbing and tying...”

Blitzo was delighted to discover that walking was far less of a problem than it had been recently- if anything, the weight around his middle was only a balance issue, and once he figured out how to sway his hips properly, she wasn’t as much of a problem as she’d been the past few weeks. Walking was just walking, which probably meant that Stolas's royal heart-snack had given a jolt to his system. Score one for cannibalism.
He scanned over the crowd milling around at the starting line- there was a healthy mix of all genders and body types, although there did seem to be a lower age limit since he didn’t see anyone who looked to be younger than fifteen or sixteen. Then, he glanced over the course, tapping his chin.
There was the protection spell...
“Hmm.”
Moxxie noticed him noticing the layout and grimaced.
“Sir. No.”
“Come on, I could whip the asses of any fucker here, even like this!” He waved a hand over at another clearly-pregnant imp, a short one with pink eyes that looked like he might be part shark that was stretching at the starting line. “That guy’s doing it!”
“That guy also looks like he’s about two months behind you,” Moxxie noted wryly. “What if your water breaks?”
“That’ll give me a couple extra seconds while somebody else slips in it!” Blitzo protested as Moxxie dragged a hand down his face, and Striker chuckled, leaning against the fence.
“Tell you what- I like your guts. We wouldn’t want you fucking both’a you up, so how about you and me just have a friendly little wager? There’ll be plenty of time afterward, so how about we take the mud wrestling pit together and see who ends up on top? Winner buys the loser dessert.”
Blitzo felt a kick, and raised a hand to his stomach to soothe away the baby’s irritation as a grin spread across his face. “Deal.”

Though the new episode focused more on Octavia, we get a very vivid look at Loona’s character:
We don’t know if Loona’s been returned to the Hellhound orphanage after being adopted before or if Loona’s been traded between foster homes prior to Blitzo adopting her. But from what the orphan matron says about her and how terrible the orphanage is, we know Loona’s not in good shape
The orphan matron taking Blitzo to view the Hellhounds available for adoption claims Loona is “a nightmare” and will be thrown-out of the orphanage in one month, commenting “good riddance, I say. She’ll never amount to anything”
Loona’s room---like the many other Hellhounds at the orphanage---is a prison cell with bunk beds (if they’re lucky). These young Hellhounds are living in an old-fashioned dog pound, wearing tattered and stained clothes
Loona’s cellmate is a cruel boy, holding a blood-soaked bat with nails while he antagonizes her. Much like an actual dog, Loona growls and shows her teeth as a warning. Similarly, when her cellmate doesn’t back down, she attacks
After Loona dispatches her cellmate, she sees Blitzo and gives him the same warning---but instead backs herself into a dark corner, holding her legs against her chest and crying into her knees. Whether it’s the matron’s words making her cry, the fact she’ll be thrown-out soon or because she’s “safe” (for the time being), we don’t know
On the wall next to Loona, there’s a torn “Hang In There!” poster and many chalk tally-marks. Whether this represents how long she’s been at the orphanage, how many times she’s been adopted/fostered or how many bad cellmates she’s had, we aren’t told
We have no idea what sort of life Loona was living before she was taken to the orphanage, but it’s clear the orphanage is an inhospitable and dangerous place. Worse still is that the matron doesn’t care about her and belittles her
Considering the horrible conditions Loona’s been living in, it makes sense for her to be hostile and use force to get her way. This isn’t an excuse for her bad behavior, though it does explain why she behaves that way. She isn’t merely a “moody goth girl” stereotype, she’s acting on the hyper-defensive---because that’s how she’s survived thus far
In the pilot episode of Helluva Boss, Loona eats Moxxie’s lunches and shows no remorse for doing so. She may have picked-up this specific behavior because food was either scarce, could be easily taken away or both. She doesn’t even chew Moxxie’s lunches, instead scarfing it down her throat without much care for what kind of food it is
When Blitzo offers her treats and presents, she slaps them out of his hand and acts offended by the gesture. Considering Hellhounds are kept as literal pets (the matron even asks if Blitzo was looking for a hound as “a gift for the wife”), it’s possible potential adoptive parents and/or fosters patronized her with the same things. Blitzo’s affections are genuine, but Loona despises him for it
During her best moments, Loona is aloof and anti-social. But once someone gets in her way or questions her, she either insults or attacks them. When he isn’t scrolling on her phone and ignoring everything (something we see her do at the orphanage before her cellmate antagonizes her), she’s yelling, stomping, throwing, punching and/or kicking things or people (including a baby in the pilot episode). Displaying overt aggression is something animals do to assert dominance within the group or tell others to back away
Near the end of this latest episode, Loona does open-up to Octavia and acknowledges that Stolas---like Blitzo---is legitimately trying to be a good father. But once she reunites with Blitzo, she kicks him in the groin and up into the air. She may have seen herself in Octavia and shared her feelings because Octavia was in a similar position, but she continued to attack Blitzo in spite of these feelings. Loona might’ve thought that admitting her feelings was showing weakness and reasserted herself (or even over-corrected for that weakness) by attacking Blitzo
Again, NONE of this excuses Loona’s destructive behavior. She needs to admit she has behavioral issues and she needs to actively work on improving herself. But there’s more to her personality than “moody goth girl”

Ok so content warning for some helluva boss crit or neg or whatever I'm just gonna rant rq and then go to bed
It should kinda be obvious from the preface but I didn't rly like the new episode. I wouldn't say it was bad but rather it was boring. I really enjoyed helluva boss in the first season it was funny and pushed the limit and had cute moment in the subtext but that's where I find the issue with E1S2. I didn't find myself laughing or crying at any of it it was just painfully predictable and it felt like every joke was an after thought to the honestly overused plot. I mean every dirty joke felt so out of place in the episode which is so strange for helluva boss. Everything was just put out into the open with really no set up or pay off it felt like an unearned reward that I didn't actually want in the first place. Maybe I remember incorrectly but wow stella is such a bitch all of a sudden like she was a shitty mother and wife but the first season implied that the issues with her a stolas' marriage were at least partially mutual and she seemed actually upset with him cheating then but now I see no reason why she hates him. It felt like too much for me she too one dimensional now and honestly stolas' is a lot more boring now too. Everything wrong with stolas in season one is suddenly stellas fault and were meant to now coddle him like a poor little baby. It's just I've seen this done a thousand times and in a much better way. I remember hearing some stuff abt ppl being upset abt the stolitz ship but I liked it in season one where it was fucking weird and a bit toxic and hinted towards some real feeling at least for stolas. That's a personal opinion though I wanted to see a complex love story play out even if it crashed and burned for the best. I'm clearly very tired as I write this I'm not touching everything I want to and not in a very tactful way and at the end of the day it's personal preference. I think the writing this episode was pretty weak and it rly wasnt for me. I can see the direction vivzie want to take this and if this is where it will continue to go I'll prolly drop the show it's just a bit too predictable for me.

King watches as Stolas passes by then grins. “Hey sugartits what’re y’ up to?” Blitz choked on his coffee while Loona wheezes and Stolas flushed. “E-excuse me..?” He asks, hoping he was hearing him wrong while Striker looks over to hopefully try and grasp the situation better than King was doing. “I asked what y’ were up to??” His confusion only made Striker confused and now Millie was confused.
“No, no, what you said before.” Blitz was embarrassed and amused. He knew King didn’t quite grasp that vulgar nicknames could be insulting. “Oh. ‘Sugar tits?’” Octavia had just barely been able to contain laughter at King’s general confusion.
Stolas inhaled slowly as he clasped his hands together before using his pointer (fingers?? claws??) to point at him whilst trying to stay passive. “You don’t need to always say what’s on your mind dear.” King cocked his head to the side. “Why? Wouldn’t that be lying? You’re supposed to tell the truth.” Millie nods her head. “You are!”
Stolas sighs softly. “You need a filter.”
“I’m not a fish birdy.”
“No- Not— I mean, we need to prevent certain things coming from that mouth of yours.” Speaking of the mouth, Blitz’s attention immediately goes to Kings plump, red lips. “Blitzy, that does not mean stare.”
“Why’s it bad if he looks at my lips. You and Blitz fuck like, 24/7 and I haven’t said anything until now.” Both demons proceed to stand, flushed. “First! We will go to the bedroom to further discuss this then we will continue this conversation!” A chorus of groans fill the room while King perks up, tail wagging. “Is this some kind of new weird voyeurism kink you have now?” King asks as Stolas pulls him to his bedroom.
Alastor walks by King and his eyes immediately go to his ass then he looks at Angel’s. “I just noticed that Angel and Alastor have nice asses.” Both choke, and Husk looks petrified at the comment and Charlie contemplates on an answer.
“Why I never!”
“Sweetie-”
Both cut in, in unison. Angel was quite flustered by the comment. “Honey uh- You can’t-” King cocks his head in confusion as he stops playing with the shot cup he’d been given to entertain himself while Angel was drinking. Or was, now he was going into a nervous ramble. Normally Vaggie would be uninterested but now wants to know what made Angel start to get all nervous and fidgety. “What’s got him all riled up?” She asks Husk who snorts.
“King said he had a nice ass.”
“Everyone tell hims that and never gets that out of him.” Husk gives her a look. “It’s King. The one with the stupidly pretty face. Whore’s weak for pretty people.” Stupidly pretty, southern people. He thinks.
“I always thought Charlie was kinda pretty.” King chimes in earning a hug from the demon princess.
“You must filter yourself darling.” King huffs. “That’s like, lying though. Papa says not to lie. Mr. Edward always says not to lie, and that’s lying.” He pouts. He heard a faint, “Mr. who???” From Angel.
“Lying and not saying every little thing that comes to mind is two different things.” King doesn’t understand but nods anyway. “So, first off, your vulgar language!” Angel pouts and whines latching onto King. “Aw don’t change my baby!” King looks visibly confused but hugs Angel back nuzzling his chest fluff. “I hope these aren’t tits ‘cause I wanna squeeze ‘em.”
King sits on Lucifer’s lap as he reads a book, smile still evident on his face. He looks at his mouth, then his cheeks. Should he even ask? He contemplates for a moment. “Are you able to open your mouth? I’ve been wondering since like, a long time.” Lucifer chuckles and opens his mouth, completely proving him wrong as he now drags his wet, slimy tongue across his teeth. “Oh.” He was surprised he hasn’t been given a lecture on his weird question. But he was weirdly into it.
He shuts his mouth, watch King’s gaze. His face heated up and he quickly tears his gaze from his mouth. He chuckled once more, pressing a kiss to his neck. “No need to be embarrassed my dear.” King mumbles something incoherent, but hears something like, “not.”
“Hmm?” He wants to get a rise out of him. King shoved his face away, his own face feeling like fire. “‘M not. ‘S just hot in here,” He lies, making Lucifer laugh.
“You can’t lie to me~” He purrs into his neck. “And,” He paused to trail his hand to rest on King’s hip and then he squeezed. King clamped a hand over his mouth, willing himself not to moan. “Be a good boy and let me hear you.”
Vox had personally never met King, so he’d had no clue King would be so blunt. Nor would he be so vulgar. He didn’t seem to see the harm in it. So here he was, eating lunch, (technically he was just examining King while he forces himself to eat some fruit.) “Are you not a fan of fruit? I thought I heard you liked fruit.” He muttered the last part to himself.
“Nah, just not a fan of food in general.” This further confuses him. “…So you don’t like to eat?” King nodded. “Weird.”
“Thank you.” He grins. King blinked, cocking his head to the side. “Would it feel weird if I touched your face?” Vox blinks, then flushed blue. “What?”
“Can I touch your face?” He repeats, pointing at him hand slowly reaching up. “W-Why?” He stammers, standing up too quickly and knocking the chair back. “‘Cause I wanna know what it feels like??” He seemed generally confused.
He huffs, crossing his arms. “That’s really weird!” King rolls his eyes copying his stance. “It not that damn weird. Blitz let’s me touch his horns. Angel let’s me touch his fluff. Stolas let’s me touch his feathers. His chest is so soft. And Luci let’s me touch his face and shit. It’s not weird.”
“The overlord of hell let you touch him?” He huffs, jealous. King grins. “Interested I see?” Vox flushed further. “I-It’s nothing like that!” King hums as if he knew it was a lie. “Don’t be salty. Lemme touch.” He makes grabby hands for the overlord who backs away. “No!”
“C’mon~!” Overall, Vox thinks King is very weird and too touchy. King is now on his lap, rubbing his face against his screen. “You’re so damn weird.” King smiles. “Again, thank you!”
King twirls his hand around the shot cup, bored and having a weird tendency to touch something. Angel was nowhere in sight so that was out of the window. Charlie was busy, Vaggie was reading, Alastor was off somewhere so that left Nifty and Husk. He glances up at Husk and grins. “Can I touch your tail?”
Husk glances at you setting his cheap booze bottle down. “What do I get in return?” King shrugs. “You can like, touch mine I guess?? I dunno man.”
Husk sighs shaking his head as he flicks his tail behind him. “Come here, you’re too damn short for me to reach over there.” King cocks his head to the side but complies, climbing onto Husk’s lap. “Gimmie.” He demands, Husk’s tail flopping onto his lap. Heavier than he imagined.
“Ooh,” He mumbles, petting the soft feathers and fur on his lap. Husk’s fingers/claws rake through his tail. His curly tail got tangled up but other than that he paid no mind to it. “‘S soft. Thought it’d feel weird but ‘s soft.”
He kisses Husks nose grinning. Husk huffs, but doesn’t move to push him off. “You’re so soofft,” He mumbles snuggling into him. “You’re drunk?” He asks, now noticing the flush on King’s face. “Jus’ a little bit,” His voice is muffled. “Hold me a bit longer, ‘kay?” He gets a soft grunt in response.
“Aaw,”
“Fuck off whore.”
Blitz and King were very touchy. King asking to touch him somewhere random was normal. Though it’s weird to everyone else, it’s a thing the two have. King was tracing the curve of Blitz’s horns staring out into space. Since the two had done this many times, Blitz noticed the change in pattern. He nudged his hand getting King to snap out of his trance and look down with a smile. His eyes looks dazed.
Blitz frowns a bit. It wasn’t the first time King’s looked dazed. He must be in a memory at the moment. Blitz sits up confusing King, as he shifts the two of them so he was laying down and he could rest his head on Kings plushy soft chest. King makes a noise of confusion as Blitz purrs.
“What’re you doin?” He finally asks, eyes no longer hazy but confused. “You uh, you kinda short circuited.” He states and King let’s put a small “oh.” He looks down, guilt evident in those stupidly pretty doe eyes of his. “Sorry. Didn’t think you’d call me out on it. Most people just wave it off.”
He shifts, kissing his forehead. Then his cheek, then his other cheek. Then he starts to pepper kisses all over his face. And finally, one last kiss on the lips. “Don’t be sorry pretty boy.” King’s face flushed. “‘M not,” He chuckles softly.
Striker and King were very… honest people. Sometimes too honest. King wasn’t one to lie, in fact, he has never lied. He just avoids certain topics and people. Striker has lied, but it was for protection. Striker and King are very honest with each other. They’re always honest with everyone else and it unnerves Loona.
Sometimes she’d ask King for makeup and outfit advice and he would be honest. He gives nothing but compliments. She’d thought it was a country bumpkin thing. She’s not had a lot of alone time with King so now that they were alone, it was awkward. King wouldn’t stop peering over at her like a curious child.
“What?” She growls out, King seems unfazed. “Can I-”
“No.”
“-braid your hair?” She looks at King, searching for a twitch of a smile, or something resembling mirth, but found nothing but genuine curiosity. “No.”
“Why? It won’ hurt.” He pauses looking down. “I think. No one’s ever braided mine, so I don’t know.” Loona huffs, watching the gears turn in King’s head. He plops on the floor and begins fiddling with his chain. “Stop being honest. It’s stupid.”
“Sorry.”
“Stop apologizing.”
Charlie likes how blunt King is. He’s always honest when she asks how he’s feeling, though, he avoids the topic of food, but he’s nice! He’s treats Vaggie well, he gets along great with a lot of the staff members, (her dad’s taken much interest in him.) And most of all, he’s been great help with customers despite his discomfort in talking to too many people at once.
Charlie was debating on put her hair up or leaving it down for the day. “Hey King?” She calls to the hybrid watching her every move. Which, she finds in endearing. “Should I wear my hair up or down?” Her hair was in a high ponytail. He took a moment to respond. She was aware he often went off somewhere else so it’s take him a moment.
“Up. You look pretty.” She smiles and kisses the top of his head. King’s like an adorable very vulgar younger sibling.
Mr. Val, he was surprised to finally meet Angel’s beloved friend. (Or so he insisted.) Val was sitting in front of King, taking sips of his drink as he watched the ‘show’ before him. King was watching, looking as if he was trying to decipher what they were doing. He cocked his head to the side, paying no mind to the stares he receives. One of the women sent him a wink, he flushes.
“So you like to watch yes?” Val purrs, wanting to make small talk with the hybrid. He turns to meet his gaze, before his eyes curiously followed the smoke. “Nah, not much of a fan of it. I’m a hands on kind of person.” He hums, saving it.
“How’d you even meet Angel-cakes anyway?” King eyes narrow. “You ask a lot of questions.” He states. Val chuckles. “I got lost and he brought me to the hotel to convince Charlie to let me stay. ‘S all you need to know.”
“How noble.” King was going to say something, but notices a woman trotting over to Val. “Hey Val~” She purrs, her gaze going to meet King’s. King for one had never gone to a strip club. Not for entertainment, just the drinks. He felt wrong for staring so he decided to mess around with the pink smoke lingering in the air.
Allowing his psychokinesis to shape the smoke into various shapes, the color turning red. He tensed, feeling slim fingers and hands touch his shoulder and breasts. His gaze flickered from the hands and to Val quickly. Val laughs. “Relax honey. They’re here to make you relax, you’re too tense!” King almost sparked up, but Angel would lose his job so he didn’t.
He flushes, moaning softly as one of the women squeezed his breasts together. “Relax, sweets.” He whines a bit but sinks into their touch, one of them, the fox who’d caught his attention, crawls onto his lap, (albeit his thighs are a bit too wide, she struggled) straddling his hips as she pulls him into a kiss. She placed a hand on his face, King slipping his tongue into her mouth. (Damn, his tongue was long) She moans, King easily winning dominance.
King knew Angel was working tonight, so it’s possible he’s in the area or he’s out, already home and waiting. He focused on the girl on his lap, gripping her hips tightly, she moans into his mouth, deepening the kiss. He pulls away, swallowing hard. He’s been a little too pent up for months. He hadn’t masturbated in months, nor had any action in months.
Val sends him a grin. “Keep going, she’s all yours.” King narrows his eyes in suspicion. He then buries his face in her neck. He took in her scent, the strong scent of overpriced perfume mixed with her scent of lust was delicious. He started to dig his canines into her her shoulder, only to pause.
Should he? What if she declines? No, he shouldn’t. He pauses, she pauses, her green eyes locking with King’s red ones. “Don’t be shy,” She pauses, leaning down to his ear. “Take me.”
King bites into the soft flesh of her shoulder, immediately get a moan out of her. King could feel eyes on him, but he didn’t care at the moment. Social anxiety can wait.

What do you think of Helluva boss now that we're 6 episodes in and almost at the end of the first season?
(Hoo boy, this got long. TL;DR at the end. Otherwise, hunker down.)
The animation in this last episode was incredible. However, no visuals in any form of media will make up for shitty writing. You can frost the prettiest cake in the bakery, but if the confection underneath tastes like raw eggs, you've severely misplaced your efforts.
It bothers me that the characters have no real agency, or at least not when it comes to Blitzo and Stolas getting their happy endings (no double entendre intended). They act like robots who just change their opinions and entire demeanor when someone flips a switch.
For example, when Octavia asks Stolas why he's cheating on her mother and turning her life into a nightmare, he can't even give her an answer. Yet somehow she's okay with that, and their relationship is magically fixed despite Stolas making no effort to change his behavior or even explain it to the daughter he claims to love. Switch flipped.
When Loona blows up at Blitzo on the beach, he slinks away in sadness and we're supposed to think she's the asshole here. As opposed to, y'know, the adult who adopted her against her wishes and had been smothering her all day. And then when the portal opens to take them back, she just... goes with him. No one apologizes, nothing is resolved, and the whole conflict evaporates, never to be mentioned again. Switch flipped.
Now we hit Episode 6, and Blitzo's the one who falls prey to these baffling writing choices. In his gas-induced dream sequence, we see him in shackles, with Stolas pulling on his chain. This kind of symbolism's typically reserved for characters who feel trapped and want to be free. But at the end, out of total bumfuck nowhere, what does Blitzo do?! Make out with the person holding him hostage.
All this time I thought their relationship was purely transactional, but I guess Blitzo caught feelings offscreen at some point. And we, the intended adult audience, apparently aren't supposed to question that.
Switch. Fucking. Flipped.
Notice how neither Blitzo nor Stolas are held accountable in any of these scenarios. But in real life, they definitely would be; if not by those they hurt, then by the people who care for those they hurt. What would stop Octavia from leaving her dad after his weak-ass excuses? What would stop Loona from asserting her independence and refusing to return to Hell with Blitzo? What would stop Blitzo from putting his foot down and telling Stolas to stop treating him like a sex toy?
Obviously, the answer is "absolutely nothing", but the writers clearly want to roll both these characters in bubble wrap. Can't have their pwecious babies suffer any negative consequences! Protect them at all costs! Preferably with plot armor thicker than Earth's mantle.
It's pretty damn apparent that they want Stolitz (Stolas x Blitzo) to be a thing, despite how toxic that relationship actually is. Sure, they make whoopee together, but, importantly:
SEX DOES NOT EQUAL LOVE.
The power dynamic here is overwhelmingly skewed in Stolas' favor, giving him free rein to treat Blitzo like an object. In Episode 6 he calls him "my impish little plaything"; he doesn't even use Blitzo's name. The fact that he's an imp takes priority in that sentence, as if Stolas is fetishizing him like a covert racist would.
(Oh, by the way, Striker told Blitzo that Stolas was using him as a plaything in the previous episode. That was the exact word he used. Striker was 100% right about the situation, yet he's portrayed as a villain. Whatever, show.)
Blitzo reluctantly (up until Episode 6) goes along with it because he needs the grimoire, but, y'know... Are photocopiers not a thing in Hell? Why can't he just scan the pages he needs and let Stolas keep the book? Is there some provision that prevents people from using its spells unless given permission by its owner? Never explained.
The writers have prioritized this ship over solid, believable storytelling, and it really shows. As of now, it's Helluva's biggest weakness. The best thing that could happen in the season finale is Blitzo breaking things off with Stolas and embarking on a quest to find other methods of surface travel. I know by now that won't be the case, yet still I dream. Blitzo, as shitty as he can be, deserves better than Stolas, and the audience deserves a better show than what we currently have.
[TL;DR: This writing sucks. Characters are stripped of their agency so they won't be obstacles to Blitzo and Stolas' "romantic" relationship. The writers clearly favor this toxic ship, and it's the show's biggest weakness by far. Blitzo, dump his ass already.]

((Should I make a tag for canon divergent threads based on canon?
That’d be, like, all of my Stolas threads tbh.
Because my main verse, he and Stella fix their relationship. 9 out of 10 times, unless the AU is otherwise tagged or otherwise plotted (see below for examples), I assume this is the universe in which my Stolas lives. It goes divergent between the pilot and Episode 2, and subsequent events don’t happen. In one version of this world, he never slept with Blitzo at all but does have a best friend Blitzo ( @spindlehorse ) who isn’t EXACTLY the guy we see in canon either. In another, he did fuck up and has been fighting to make things right. @raichoose and I have worked really hard for this divergence and I don’t even consider it an AU because it’s my default.
Another of my verses, he’s developing a special connection to Agent Two (Darcy) as he possesses her on and off. They’re both lonely, curious souls who are bonding and we pretend it is not shaped like Venom/Eddie fanfic. In this, everything to Episode 6 has happened but things are a little wiggly after that. @infernal-feminae and I have been hype about how similar Darcy and Stolas are internally and we’re testing to see where it goes and I love them, your honor.
Another, he and Verosika are on track to rage and grieve about Blitzo and maybe develop some deeper, romantic feelings. This is a brand new universe but if you wanna talk about characters who want to give and receive love and lust - reciprocated ‘n all.. @vsika and I were talking about making this a real ship last night and I was so excited to meet someone who not only saw the “oh yeah, they should definitely talk” but the “oh yeah, they might actually be compatible, if messy.” possibilities.
I have a ship that predates all three of these with @noblehcart and her human Stolas made a deal with, Lucy Harris from “Jekyll and Hyde”, who becomes his sugar baby and the sweetest monsterfucker you ever did see. He helps her become a lawyer in a modern verse and sets up a palace for her in Hell when she becomes a sinner eventually so she’s poised to become an Overlord. It’s a super soft ship, though, for two people who aren’t used to softness.
I have a weakness for rare pairs, don’t I? Like, hell, anyone who knows me knows that and most people who know me know that I enjoy Stolitz as a fan of the show, but just want to do something different with my Stolas. I feel like people who don’t know me would get mad that these ships are all with female characters, but my Stolas is bi as fuck and proud of it. so it’s really just been luck-of-the-draw and which muns want to write and plot with me. I sometimes have Blitzos who I ship with but the percentage of my threads that are Stolitz is miniscule compared to other ships and, of course, all the beautiful, wonderful Octavias I get to write with and the OCs Stolas has taken under his wing.
Like, there’s that, too, right? My Stolas is here to take care of his owlet and any cuckoos who need a little bit of dad energy in their lives, perhaps above all else he does. I’ve met some amazing Octavia muns ( @raichoose, @ladiesofhell, @celestvia, @owletteofstars, @hazbinxdisaster to name a few). Octavia is the heart of Stolas’ world, but I also think about the fact that he adores his weird nephew (Hooty), happily supports Via’s friends (Charlie and Hellsa @ladiesofhell and @von-eldritch), and adopts OCs he sees who need a parental figure that doesn’t suck (Clem @hannah-the-small) and that in my heart of hearts, I want him and Ann’s Stella to expand their family one day, when they feel on totally stable ground. I focus on Stolas as a father figure as much as or more than I focus on him as a sexual being and I love it. I love it all.
I just fucking love Stolas. I especially love my Stolas. Like I adore all the takes on him I see on the dash but this guy is my serotonin boost when I’m at the helm.
Point is, I follow the spirit, not the letter of canon with my Stolas and I’m just wondering if I should differentiate my sub-verses so that way when I one day allow anons back into my world, I don’t get yelled at for Stolas cheating “again” because everything is separate and I just suck at tagging. Especially if Season 2 means that Stolas comes back and Stella plays a bigger role (last Q&A seemed to confirm it). I’m excited because I enjoy canon for what it is but my whole blog is like “Stolas: The Canon Divergence” and I am so nervous.
