This term is NOT a joke, as I did a joke before (Infernalqueer) as a bait to the Radqueer community to hate me and I'm not sorry for trolling Radqueers.

I think the whole reason contact discourse is as annoying as it is, is because people refuse to communicate with eachother.

Different para circles use contact labels differently. On Twitter, "anti contact" widely means "anti contact for harmful actions" (bestiality, child abuse, grooming, assault, etc). But on Tumblr, especially radblr, a contact stance like that would be widely considered to be "complex contact".

Regardless of how contact labels end up, I think people need to sit down and realise that:

1: Being anti-contact doesn't mean "no contact for all paraphilias" (literally have never seen any anti-c claim that stance please stop acting like people do.)

2: Being complex contact doesn't inherently make someone pro-beastiality (plus all other forms of abuse I mentioned.)

Like this is a community build on trying to understand and empathise with people. Why do y'all forget that the second contact labels come into play.

What is paraqueer?

Paraqueer is inherently pro paraphilia and anti contact. It is a term meant be used by queer paraphiles. You can only use this term if you are queer and a para.

Paraqueers understand the importance of consent and are strictly anti contact for any paras that would be nonconsensual or harming to others if acted upon. They know that children and animals can never consent.

Paraqueers know that they can be proud of their paras without harming other people, and they support other paras. Paraqueers also support recovery for those who desire it and finding coping mechanisms. They understand that thought crimes do not exist.

Hazard consent, or hazard-consent, is a contact/consent stance based on harm reduction, explicit and informed consent, and understanding the repercussions of one's actions. It is inherently against contact for any paraphilia, kink or fetish that involves a lack of, or otherwise dubious, content- *as well as situations where even if one believes a group or individual can consent, the negative impact it would have on either party outweigh what pleasure they could get out of it.

What is hazard consent FOR?

contact for pedophilia, zoophilia, biasophilia, incestophilia and non-consenting necrophilia, somnophilia, inibriphilia(link), or anything else that can be pre-consented to. roleplay for any of these does not fall under hazard consent

Q. Why does this exist?

A. Historically, contact stances were something used in the MAP community to express one's personal stance on contact with minors, but now that it is used to indicate one's stance on multiple/all paraphilias, it has become unclear what falls under being "pro/neutral/complex/anti-contact". Meanwhile stances like "pro-consent" or "anti-harm" have a similar vagueness to them, as what counts as "consent" or "harm" can be subjective and up to the user. This is to serve a clear and explicit stance of things that often seems to be shared between these beliefs.

Q. *What does this mean?

A. This stance believes that, even if an individual thinks groups like children or animals can consent, the negative impact sexual contact with them has on these groups psychologically outweighs the pleasure gained. This also means that if an individual is distressed by their attraction, they shouldn't engage with it if/until they can do so without harming themselves mentally.

Q. What is dubious consent in this context?

A. Any coerced, unenthusiastic, uninformed or otherwise unclear consent.

Q. Why the name "hazard consent"?

A. "Hazard" is supposed to reference the understanding of the risks, potential danger, and, well, hazards associated with non/dubious consent, as well as those related to informed consent. It also is intended to invoke a sense of danger. It is intended to promote a thorough understanding of the risks and benefits associated with sex, consent and paraphilias, kinks and fetishes.

Q. Who can use hazard consent?

A. Anyone. Even if someone disagrees with me and my beliefs, or if I disagree with them. This is a term for anyone and everyone who shares this specific belief, and anyone can be any stance on it.

Hello! You can call me Lyla or Angel, I also use a few other names, but those are my main names at the moment!

I'm a p-DID mixed origins system, with very complex functions and I'm still very much discovering new things about my own system; however, we have known we were a system for quite a long time.

I am very radically inclusive (pro good faith) and have no strict DNI outside of NSFW accounts, basic dni (racists, homophobes, etc.), and radqueers. Other than that I do not really care what your stances on anything are; but I do block freely.

Here are some of my stances though, for those who want to know / so everyone knows if they're comfortable enough with following me. I am: pro-endogenic systems, pro-paraphile (anti-contact and pro-recovery), pro-mspec lesbians and mspec gays, anti-radqueer (transid, etc.), anti-harassment. For things that are harmful to the paraphile or their object of attraction (like the Big Three, as well as some other ones), I am anti-contact. (As in, "No, don't ever do that.")

Coralqueer or Conqueer/Consciousqueer is blankqueer term, which describes someone between radinclus and radqueer, where you support sys/lgbtq+ identities in good faith, pro-paraphilias, and pro/neutral radqueer, and understand that the radqueer community has some harmful parts, but isn't harmful at all

Would you mind explaining what “I'm an anti contact paraphile” means? Specifically the anti contact part? I’m having a hard time finding anything with my own research

Anti contact is being against contact for paraphilias that would cause harm for the paraphile or subject of attraction to engage in without avoidance or substitution. For example, I do not support sexual contact between a zoophile and an animal since that is animal abuse and can harm the animal. For a while people only talked about the "big three" being pedophilia, zoophilia, and necrophilia, but often that is from ignorance about how varied paraphilias are.

Some will pull the bad faith card and say it means being against any contact for any paraphilia, example being objectum/objectophilia (which are paraphilias with inanimate objects as the subject of attraction). However, I have not spoken to any actual anti contact paraphile who believes this. This argument is mostly coming from people who support things like CSEM, lowering the age of consent to be able to have sex with minors, animal abuse through training animals to behave sexually with humans, and more along those lines. They often call themselves "pro contact," "complex contact," "neutral contact," and "anti abuse" with such dogwhistles as "pro consent" when they think minors can consent to sexual and romantic relationships with adults. There are other dogwhistles as well, too that often do overlap with proshipper language like "anti censorship" since often fiction is how they can make it seem more okay for minors to engage sexually with the person who may be sharing that kind of fiction with minors.

I do want to point out that there are ways to engage in unethical and harmful contact for any paraphilia, not only the scary or extremely stigmatized ones. For that objectophilia example, someone may not own the subject of attraction and may not get the consent of the owner to masturbate with it if it is a personal object belonging to someone else. There's a lot more nuance to being able to talk about contact with non-harmful paraphilias in my opinion, but I never see anyone talk about it.

TLDR - If acting on your paraphilia can harm the subject of attraction, yourself, or the owner of the subject of attraction I believe that act is unethical and should not be supported. You can find healthier ways like substitution or avoidance to engage with some paraphilias, and with others it would be best to contact professionals and organizations like B4UACT if you feel like you will commit an action that does harm in some way (Such as CSA, animal cruelty and abuse, stalking, rape, lust murder, sexual cannibalism, and more).
