Where do you stand on headcanon for how the Starblaster Crew felt about each other by the end? I'm personally in the camp of "five crazy kids and their two tired dad's who may or may not be together".

Headcanons for the starblaster crew post story and song? heck yeah!

reaper trio, taako, and ango mcdango all live together in the same house with taakitz as angus’ legal guardians for like, permission slip reasons but they all parent him equally

miss me with this whole bullshit of all of them doing their own thing and only seeing each other once in a while. they may all live in completely different corners of the world, but having reapers in their familiy to rift them to wherever they need is a perk they absolutely take advantage of at every opportunity!!! they obviously spend all the big holidays together, but they also are just at each other’s houses constantly. magnus has dinner at the casa de la taakitz and blupjeans every three days or so, angus sleeps over at raven’s roost every other weekend and spends his summer break with merle and his kids and sometimes goes on sea voyages with cap’nport!!!

lucretia and magnus as platonic life partners is my jam, i love it so much!!! love the idea of her retiring to raven’s roost and spending her days with the dogs and just being happy. she deserves all the happiness in the world!!!!

shortly after story and song, davenport disappears to sea for a year or two because he needs some time away from lucretia. he needs to come to terms with what’s happened to him and he needs time to get used to being himself again. he’s angry at her at first, just so fucking angry at what she did to him. but he’s always been a very practical man, and after thinking it through, he finds he has it in him to forgive her. he thinks back to how tirelessly she had taken care of him, how she had given him all the respect he had deserved. he remembers how she had only ever kept up the “butler” act when absolutely necessary, remembers how attentive she had been to what he needed and had given him everything he needed. it starts off slow, but within a few years their relationship is stronger than ever. after that first voyage, his trips are a lot shorter, and he makes sure to visit as frequently as possible. he’s always over for holidays and when he does finally retire as a sailor, he finds a nice little home in raven’s roost near magnus and lucretia.

taako takes a lot longer than davenport to forgive lucretia. he never really does get over the betrayal, but at the end of the day, she’s his family, and he misses her desperately. he’s so tired of being so cold to her, he’s tired of holding onto the anger, he’s tired of seeing her just quietly accepting his attitude, so completely unlike the firey and rambunctious lucey he had come to adore like a little sister. and in the end, what helps him finally let go of his decade of loneliness without his heart is when he accepts lucretia back into his life. he never does fully trust her again, is never able to shake the coolness he feels towards her that’s not there with any of the others, but he is able to ignore it. he is able to hug her and laugh with her and treat her with the gentleness she deserves. because maybe he doesn’t agree with what she did, but he does know that she did what she thought was right, and he’s okay with that. he can deal with that.

One day barry is working in his cave, crafting his next move and waiting for his new body to grow, when he finds himself as he often does, thinking about lup, and then it hits him: he can't remember what her face looks like, he panics looking around for whatever bureau of balance agent did this to him because this has to be lucretia right? She must've altered the void fish's magic or made a deal with some dark deity. But after a few moments listening frightened and ready for the smallest hint of static, he collects himself and begins to pick up the pages of research notes he'd spilled during his outburst and the realisation settles in that its been over 10 years since hes seen her. of course he doesn't know exactly how long it's been, he stopped counting after the first few bodies failed, it made the waiting easier; even after seeing taako again he couldn't remember exactly what she looked like, sure they were similar but he knew there were differences, subtle details that were different, he just couldn't remember which ones, damn lucretia she must have found some way to alter that part of his memory, was it out of spite? Was she that petty? It wasn't until he drank the ichor of the second void fish that he admits to himself how long it's been and how much he's forgotten, it's not until moments later when he sees that face phantasmal and transpledendent with tears in his eyes does he gaze upon the love of his lives for what feels like the first time as he falls in love with her all over again

Post Battle sometime, the Flock and friends built a big ol’ collective vacation home/family holiday house. Originally it was just Magnus building but the whole gang joined in soon enough. Lucretia and Taako got on better terms when they allied in the Kitchen Wall Color Battle™️ and emerged victorious. There were at least 3 near fatalities. Lights were installed by Barry’s instructions to Angus sat on his shoulders. The garden is huge. It’s an aesthetic patchwork nightmare and they love it dearly
