sooo I got inspired by dyemooch and Derrick's artwork of Babymetal. And I decided to try out Copia and Terzo in Derrick J Wyatt's style! Sorta paying a little homage to him, since his work is a huge inspo to me. Still can't get over how he's come across my work and has even allowed me to color his sketches ;__; 🖤

For those who don't know, Derrick J Wyatt was art director/involved for shows like Ben 10 Omniverse, Transformers Animated, Teen Titans, and Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated to name a few.

i think the hex thing in ov is super interesting actually from hex's pov. imagine youve been horrible for your whole life, treating everyone even your own family like pawns, and then the last remnant of your family dies (at least you think she does) and suddenly your whole worldview is shattered. what are you even fighting for now that shes gone? why did you cast her aside when she represented the thing you were supposed to protect? so you go soul searching and somewhere along the line decide to become an educator, and you make sacrifices and make good with old enemies and you actually have a concrete purpose now, after years of an immortal lifespan you finally know what you want. you even see your neice in an old enemy, and maybe by helping her, you can redeem yourself for your sins. and then your niece comes back and youre ecstatic bc you can show her how good you are now, how much youve changed. but shes long gone, and all she wants to do is hurt more and more, like the black hole you taught her to be, and you learn that the things you did in the past still happened and you still hurt the people you hurt and some of that you can never change, no matter how much you try and redeem yourself.

So I'm rewatching the Secret Saturdays and this screenshot has thrown me for a loop.

If any of those faces look familiar, you'd be right because-

They're flipping Ben 10 Villains.

And for those not in the know, Ben 10 has a crossover with The Secret Saturdays in Omniverse.

As a kid, I just shrugged it off and thought "weird IP crossover but cool." I didn't expect this to be another "Gorillaz and Power Puff Girls share the same world."

Haven’t posted anything here in a while since I’ve been more active on Twitter and Discord. Here are some recent designs I did for Ben 10 characters for an AU

Hex

A mysterious magician who carries a coffin alongside him. Rumour has it that the coffin contains the remains of a deceased relative, and the man seeks to revive them by all means necessary. He owns a library that is said to contain infinite knowledge, and will allow any passerby to select one book to take with them. Their choice of book will determine their fate.

Charmcaster

A failed revival of Hex's brother due to the interference of a certain 10-year-old girl. As a child, Hope is naive and only acts upon a small range of emotions. However, she is also highly intelligent and unfathomably powerful.

Hex fanfic /Secret Saturday

I have this Hex  fanfic  idea that I wrote  when I was a anon blob. It was a Hex RP tumblr. I shared it with someone here. It was  Hex is having nightmares/bad dreams for reasons- maybe its guilt and memories resurfacing He  is searching  for a cure.  He is searching for potion ingrediants or  a made up cryptid  that os based on the Baku yokai. I haven’t decided. He meets the secret saturdays  and my oc Thalia . Thalia is there because in the Cryptid route she’s helping them find it . And, in the potion ingrediants route  Thalia  asks for help because the  plants are  cryptid plants. I know that timeline wise  Hex isn’t a professor  yet

Are you going to Change the Negative 10 Line Up? If so Whats the new Team?

The Forever King, the Forever Harlequin, Charmcaster, Hex, Doctor Animo, Clancy, Zombozo, Psyphon, Kraab and Vulkanus. I'll go through each of them to explain my reasoning. The Forever King is obvious, the original one to have created the Negative 10. But I will showcases a bit more of an insight of the Forever Knights, and how they are split into four factions, Driscoll only being one part of it, same as Enoch. The Forever Harlequin is my replacement idea for the Forever Ninja, as he always felt out of place. The Forever Harlequin is a mysterious, voiceless female figure who appears to be the one middle ground member of the forever knights, making sure they don't do anything too stupid. She also has a wide arrange of strange attacks and weapons, and Ben doesn't like fighting her much as her tactics are normally annoying to deal with, haha. Charmcaster and Hex, to give more time to showcase their relationship, and the problems behind it and why they happened. I'm thinking of including a scene that has Charmcaster finally snap at her uncle, before running off to later appear in Alien Force again, while Hex finally starts to rethink the things he's doing. Perhaps Gwen even being the reason this outburst happened. Doctor Animo, cause I'm not gonna leave out best crazy sciencetist man. And I like the idea of showing him and Clancy sort of have this weird friendship, that only they get one another, due to their connection to animals. Zombozo instead of the circus trio, because he's supposed to be more of the major threat compared to them. I want to also keep playing into the mystery of what he is, and make him more horror-focused like in his first appearance. Psyphon is an interesting case, but basically, I've decided to have him from the start being Vilgax's minion, so he can be a showcase of one of the many worlds Vilgax's has conquered. His presence is also going to help me explain how Vilgax got out of the null void after the team-up with Kevin, as Psyphon manages to open the null void after sneaking away into the Plumber base, and basically ditches the Negative 10 the moment he gets Vilgax out of there. Meanwhile, Kraab was hired by Psyphon, without the others knowing, to make sure everything goes smoothly for him. Kraab pretending to be there because he hates the Tennysons (When really he doesn't care, he's just there to get a job done). While Vulkanus is there because he hates the Tennysons after their last encounter, stuck on earth due to his ship being destoryed. I would imagine him being the one to start a lot of arguments with the Forever King, due to the Forever Knight's hateful views on aliens.

Are Hex and Charmchaster apart of the Ben 10 Trollhunter Crossover? Do you think Douxie knows them?

He heard of Hex as the man was excommunicated from a few covens for breaking multiple laws. Douxie wasn't surprised he would one day get thrown in jail. A few wizards did their best to separate Hope/Charmcaster from him and give her a proper upbringing.

She absolutely despises Merlin but likes Douxie as a brother of sorts though. Similar to kindred spirits. Charmcaster is still a troubled person but makes sure she is on her best behavior. Claire is her pen pal as well so they get along great.

Sometimes it's good to have people you can depend on.

Oliver and Heather (charmcaster) using magic to light candles. Oliver uses the wand so flames come out like a flamethrower instead of a small spark.

Sidenote: hex no longer has eyebrows.

Oliver & Charmcaster : *trying to find a lighter*

Charmcaster : Hey Oliver, don't you have that wand?

Oliver : Oh yeah! I bet we can light the candles with it!

Charmcaster : I'm going to get my uncle, grab your wand and ready your spell.

Oliver : Okay! *went to grab it*

Later

Hex, blindfolded : Charmcaster, where are you even taking me???

Charmcaster : Just trust me uncle, you're going to love it. *gives Oliver the signal*

Oliver : *gave her a thumbs up* Fire! *points his wand at the candles*

Instead of small sparks to light the candles, it was a full blown flamethrower that not only burned the cake it also burned Hex's face and eyebrows.

His eyebrows did eventually grew back, but he prohibited Oliver from using Merlin's Wand for a month because of it. Hex did liked that they tried to set up a birthday for him tho.
