Watching season 13 for the first time and wow, Scoobynatural is so unbelievably good. I love how it pays homage to Scooby-Doo as it feels like a lover letter to those that grew up with the cartoon. Dean had me laughing hysterically throughout the entire episode. I loved the way he was acting like a total fanboy around the Scooby Gang. His crush on Daphne and the uproarious attempts he made to get her attention all while dissing on my man Fred was the highlight of the episode for me. I loved seeing the mystery gang and the boys working together to hunt a ghost, especially Castiel when he was with Shaggy and Scooby. I don't care what people say, He is a talking dog lol. I love how unapologetically meta this episode is, with the way Sam pokes fun at cartoon tropes to Dean just wanting to protect the Scoobies' innocence is hilarious to me. This is one of those episodes that made me laugh out loud. One of the reasons I was so hyped for this season was because of this episode and it absolutely delivered.

I'll rate this episode a 10/10. Definitely top five episode for me.

I’m not sorry, but the henren brainrot is real. Like, the choices were phenomenal, from the music, the costumes, and the lines? beautiful, talented, awesome. I can see how much Karen was into her work, the injustice of vying for her dream despite knowing that “people like them” don’t really get to fulfill their dreams. And seeing her dream morph to include Hen and Denny was just so delicious to me. Which just makes her line to Eva in Ghosts so much more painful because you now know exactly why she reacted that way when she found out about Eva being pregnant. But seeing her still choose Hen after Chim’s call was just the icing on the cake because we knew she would come back but we didn’t know how.

And Hen? Wanting to love again, but the shadow of Eva was still so big. Having Chim be her wingman was an excellent throughline of how great their friendship is. And even when she admitted to not wanting something serious but then buying a house with Karen before learning about Denny made me so happy for her. and paralleling with her question of choosing firefighter over a doctor? letting her realize that her dream has been right in front of her, her happiness was already made and built over the years was sooooo beautiful. Having her see just how important Karen is and that it is her paramedic skills that helped her wife was amazing when you compare it to the intubation scene with Athena, showing that the last two years weren’t a waste and made her just an even better paramedic.
