I love when people complain about stevie being an unlikable protagonist. I actually think she should get even more unlikable. she should start throwing her shoes at people. she should start calling people mean names when they piss her off. she should be allowed to fire an absolutely life-altering, devastating insult at somebody at least once per book. she should be allowed to call david’s mom and snitch on him every time he does something really stupid. she should’ve gotten to call Charles an annoying serial killer to his face. she should’ve cut the brakes in Carson’s tesla or wrecked his podcast footage. stevie bell is unlikable and i hope they make her even worse. i think somebody should give her a gun

Don't think about the lore of how she would exist in a Wuxia setting. This is for goofs.#Part 2 tomorrow ! Though its mostly silly doodles of the MDZS crew.#Lawyers and MDZS crossover *so* well. Legally blonde is a bit too specific of a story though. More on that in the next post.#Legally Blonde in general is a movie that means a lot to me (esp the musical). so there are. layers to this. if it reminds you of a wedding, you're correct! if it reminds you of tarot cards, you're also correct!

i also accidentally Did a Gender to Gawain by placing him on the right, which in heraldry is the wife's side, but that only adds to all the gender the poem does to him, really

what's that!! a pentacle that is also a flower!! inside an axe??? aka the only design that wasn't pulled from romanesque bas-reliefs/that one ancient celtic sculpture/an anglo-saxon brooch that reminded me of the seasons wheel in the movie. i'm kinda proud of it ngl

and to round up the "green consuming and corrupting" theme, dried botanicals in resin in the lid!

I’m not late to send my New Year cards for once! And Poldine gets to be all by herself because unlike Pyrgus she didn’t get a birth announcement card, so it seemed fair. I started out writing “Poldine wishes you a happy new year” but then realised the shrub was more centered in the photo and more important-looking so the rest of the cards featured a happy new year message from Poldine & The Shrub.

#i know the deadline is the 31st but i wanted to post them in the first week of january for a change. it's 11pm and i am done!! i did it!#everyone got a personalised drawing this year to fill the blank spaces on the card and they were all terrible #except one of my cousins who got a squirrel. i'm good at squirrels #i can draw pandolf (sort of) but llamas are so hard #i had to add a santa hat on pampy's head because i had drawn her ears all wrong #also a friend sent me an assortment of sweets for christmas and i tried to draw my favourite sweet from the box on her card #i failed this very simple assignment and had to add a caption saying it was a nice rock i found in the woods this week

I forgot to take a before picture(RIP) but my first restoration/remodel!

Got this little wooden box from the thrift shop and it was in bad condition, loose wobbly off center hinges, an ill hitting lid, chipping laquer and scratched to hell.

Used what I had on hand, so it's not perfect, but I think it's pretty!

Sanded her down and sanded down the metal bits with some wd40 and put everything back together. Gave her a light coat of wd40 to make the grain stand out more and to shine it up (more of a light satin type shine) and she's done!!
