Anyways this is a Vampire & Werewolves AU unrelated to other media. It's a bit silly and dark at the same time so stick with me for this scattered explanation.

Creek is a vampire

Branch is a werewolf

Poppy is still a princess and she doesn't change (yet?)

Creek is the only vampire in the village. His coven was hunted down until he was the only survivor & he wanders out of sight until finding a village full of gullible, naive trolls. He survives mostly on the blood of livestock and, like in Adventure Time, he can drink the color red. It doesn't fill his appetite, and he very rarely drinks troll blood (despite its benefits he will not risk his survival just for a proper meal).

He gets by, by telling the pop trolls he is Vegan™. Despite the fact that pop trolls are by default vegetarian, or insectivorous at most & it wouldn't be hard for pop troll vegans to exist, he gets away with it because pop trolls don't have an understanding of what being vegan *is*.

This, in turn, pisses Branch off. Branch knows there's something off with Creek down to the way he smells. He immediately clocks Creek as something unnatural & eventually comes to the conclusion that Creek MUST be a vampire. He makes wooden stakes, drops rice on Creek, has an UNwelcome mat & tried to prove his guilt via garlic once.

This pisses CREEK off. Because he sees Branch as a hypocrite. The wultroll hasn't even claimed the small village as his pack. He can smell the dog on Branch & is constantly dropping hints that he knows Branch's secret too. When Branch continues trying to expose him, it's frustrating. Everyone thinks Branch is crazy why is he so determined to label him as a threat while risking his own safety within the village???

But this is a misunderstanding, you see.

... because Branch doesn't know he's a werewolf.

He's scruffy, and fluffier than other trolls. He's a growler but whispers from the village led him to believe it was because he was feral. Because he was grey. Because he hunted & trapped creatures like mice and puffalo.

He fully believes that he looks the way he does because he grew up grey. It was what people always said about him and he never had a better explanation. He dug a hole in the ground & slept in it. Fearful, he was almost never outside during night. He's aware he sleepwalks & the resulting mess makes him determined to sleep inside his bunker and his bunker only. He doesn't need to make the villagers more wary of him.

I like to think he only finds out after Creek makes the poly. Also after he learns that Creek actually IS a vampire and he was right! Branch is still shocked to see Creek very casually drinking the blood of a mouse he'd caught, and after that the misunderstandings are cleared up.

and below is after Branch asks if Creek is gonna tell Poppy that he's a vampire, and Creek asks if Branch is gonna tell her that he's a werewolf.

He'd be too scared to tell Poppy before he learned more about himself. He'd be worried about the origin of the curse & wouldn't really know why he's a wultrol or if he was born one or what, until he reunites with his brothers.

P.S the garlic incident results in Creek getting rashes and Branch barfing bc dogs cannot eat garlic! They're both allergic.

My opinions on Cliva (Clay x Viva)

I think Cliva is cute, but I can't see it personally. Even with knowing each other for a long time like their younger siblings, it doesn't seem like they have that same kinda of love like Poppy and Branch do. I'm not saying everyone's romantic love is all the same, but it just doesn't seem like it's there. At least when I see them interact. Maybe it's because they didn't get a lot of screen time together? Idk

After the Confession

The two trolls, one blue and one pink, who had just confessed their reciprocated love for each other and shared the most connected high five of their lives, proceeded to laugh in pure delight and excitement.

Poppy had been hoping, waiting for Branch to say something, to confirm to her his feelings, had waited for him to make the first move, knowing he'd be more comfortable that way. She was a good actor when it came to hiding her own romantic feelings for her best friend, who had grown so much in the almost four months since the Trolls befriending of the Bergen's, as she was always good at putting the needs of her people before her own and wearing an aura of complete upbeat confidence --- not to say her euphoric attitude was fake, no, far from it, she just had complex emotions like anyone else and knew when she needed to hide it so her subjects wouldn't worry about her --- they could be overbearing if they thought she was ever the tiniest bit out of sorts.

But now that he had come out and said it, she felt her insides exploding with more joy then she had ever felt before. Just now seeing Branch erupt into a belly laugh that made him swing his head back, she felt the boldest desire fill her, and when he came upright again, arms falling into a loose hold across his stomach and looked her in the eye with his striking blue irises, grinning from ear to ear, she acted without thinking.

Suddenly she had leaped forward, swiftly bringing her lips to press against his. Eyes closed, she couldn't see the way Branch's arms flung out to hover beside her and the shocked look on his face as he instinctively pursed his lips against hers. She felt his face heat up and savored the smooth feeling of the edges of his mouth before breaking away. As soon as her eyes opened, she realized what she'd done and her own face heat up in an uncontrollable blush that painted her cheeks bright red. Embarrassed, she hugged herself and looked away, shocked at herself. She had just been waiting for what seemed like so long.

Branch's face was as lavender as his nose, as were the tips of his translucent aquamarine ears and she watched his large hands come up to his chest, one bypassing to shyly cup his chin and trace his lower lip with his thumb. "P-Poppy." He managed to utter before the action processed on the Trolls nearest to them. Some civilians of Pop Village suddenly looked shocked, but what really drew Poppy and Branch's attention, making them both turn their heads to look, were the chorus of enlightened squeals from the Snack Pack, all of which had managed to congregate in a group around them when they weren't paying attention.

Their wide, staring eyes made Poppy widen her eyes as well and Branch rubbed his arm while looking away, a soft smile returning to his face.

"I knew it!" Biggie exclaimed, fanning himself. "Oh my gah! Oh my gah! Oh my gahhhh!" Smidge was squealing over and over, tears in her eyes and her little hands balled into fists against her cheeks. "Whew, that was unexpected." Legsly said and DJ Suki nodded rapidly in agreement. "I never would have guessed!" She huffed with a confused smile. Satin and Chenille simply squealed like kids on Candy Day, clasping hands with each other. Fuzzbert ran in frantic circles, gibbering. "Was only a matter of time." Guy Diamond said, simply crossing his arms and squinting knowingly while Tiny Diamond gaped at them from half-way inside his father's hair.

"Surprise." Poppy said weakly, giving out jazz-hands. She couldn't believe she had done that. They had only just confessed and she was sure Branch hadn't been quite ready for their first kiss yet, she didn't think she had been ready, but it was hard to scold herself when she remembered all too clearly the blissful feeling of kissing him, in fact she couldn't wait to do it again. But all in good time. This was a moment she would cherish despite her initial embarrassment and inappropriate timing and looking at Branch's lovesick eyes and flustered yet happy state, she knew he would too.

She remembered the first time she had met the once lonely grey recluse, it was a blurry memory that only resurfaced from time to time, but she had been six years old, playing with her friends when she had noticed him at ten, sitting against a tree, watching them from afar; she turned away to participate in her turn in the game, and when she turned back, he had gone as if he were made of mist.

Only a few days later did Poppy manage to escape the constant watch her father had on her to go explore the neighboring forest beside the community of Pop Village. She had gotten hopelessly lost and had been on the verge of tears when she encountered the troll made of mist again, this time directly, he having noticed the young pink princess's plight and come to lightly scold her and guide her through the woods. He had made sure she got back to the village safely, lightly brushed off her thanks, and retreated back into the shadows. Poppy had returned home to the elder trolls searching for her, a muddy mess, but intact and filled with excitement over the story she had to tell. As she had took a bath, her worried father washing her hair, she told him about the grey troll boy that had helped her. King Peppy, recalling how the boy hadn't been seen for months and secretly was relieved to hear he was still around, gave her a word of advice but had otherwise been pretty vague, saying how he was troubled and preferred to be left alone, so she shouldn't try to bother him, he seemed to live in the woods now anyway and she wasn't allowed to venture out of the village, especially after today.

Poppy thought through her first encounters with the troll she now loved on the flight home in the Rock Trolls shuttles, sitting blissfully awake on an armchair, watching Branch who was dozing curled on the leather couch beside her.

Branch hadn't liked to be seen much in the days when he first moved into the beginnings of what would soon be classified as his bunker, and so when Poppy glimpsed him next, when she was eight, she had all but forgotten the first encounter with the older troll-ling. Many times she glimpsed his black hair on the edge of a crowd, always when she ventured towards the marketplace and the outer rims of her village, and every time her curiosity grew and grew.

If you asked present day Branch, he knew the next time he saw the pink princess was once he started coming into town more often. Once the demand for finishing the bunker and excitement of doing so and of his new found sense of freedom weared down, he was a teenager, and his loneliness became more prominent. Less distractions meant more free time and pondering, he took up writing and poetry around this time to lessen the effects but soon found himself being less and less discreet about being seen in the marketplace. He still only came when he absolutely had to but he was less and less afraid of the attention walking around in the open brought. He glimpsed Poppy around sometimes, off galavanting with her friends, despite her upbeat attitude completely contrasting with his pessimistic one, he found himself seeking her out to watch her, her antics were amusing and charming somewhat, and though he never approached her he made a regular activity of watching her whenever her and her friends passed by.

Poppy was twelve when she officially met Branch again, and he was fifteen. The princess had more and more freedom as the years went by, when the threat of the Bergans and unknowns of the forest dwindled away, she was allowed to venture farther and farther. The grey troll was good at escaping her whenever she saw his distinct black hair in a crowd and tried to catch up with him, but this time she had managed to catch him off guard. With her freedom finally passing the limits of the village and growing to the stretch of forest beyond, she found him writing something in the crook of a tree while he had thought he was hidden enough to watch her splashing through the creek, discreetly making sure his future Queen and one source of amusement wasn't picked off by a predator. She had settled down on a rock, her cute yellow dress slicked against her and dripping wet, enjoying the natural musical beat of the forest life around her, when she had coincidentally looked up to see the object if her curiosity in his hideout.

Startling him by swinging up beside him, she had properly introduced herself and pestered him with questions. Though most questions remained unanswered, Poppy finally got his name and realized her lifelong resolve and goal to cheer this interestingly grumpy troll up. Though she felt sorry for this clearly unhappy individual, there was something about his drastically different personality type to any other troll she knew and the mystery he was shrouded in that drew her to him. Yup, as an excitable tween she had developed a crush on who she would realize others referred to as the village grump, behind every friendly invitation she gave him and watched him dismiss, there was a center of fluttery cheesy schoolgirl love, and every invitation he dismissed or crushed, only strengthened her resolve to get through to him, even when the feelings of girlish lovestruck dwindled away as she matured. It wasn't until she saw how he looked at her while reciting a poem for Bridget to repeat that those feelings she hadn't realized were still there dormant in the farthest reaches of her mind, began to blossom forth, this time deeper and savoury and real. And they only grew brighter as Branch's endearing side shone through more and more. He had regained his True Colors, and those three little words had been spoken. Poppy was sure of her feelings when that had happened. Though their relationship didn't go beyond friendship for months after and Poppy grew confused on what those words had really meant when he had said them when things didn't escalate, she respected that he might simply not be ready for such things yet and kept her peace. Unknown to each other, both trolls had always hoped things would fall into place. Now they had. There was no doubt in Poppy's mind that they were really starting the next step, that everything would only get better from here. And she couldn't be happier.

Honestly when the new movie hits streaming and I can watch it somewhere I'll probably come back to tending this blog, my newest hyperfix has been treating me well but I do miss this community. That being said...I might like. Purge a bunch of old stuff or at the very least private some posts, because the last time I really posted something on here was 2022 if you don't count the post I made abt the third movie earlier. I have indeed grown quite a bit and honestly a lot of my ideas and opinions are still the same but some of them aren't, even from year to year I cringe at my past self and part of me wants to restart the whole shebang, but the other part knows I don't have it in me bc c'mon I have some good stuff left over. So in short yeah, once Band Together is somewhere I can watch it in good quality, you're probably going to be seeing a lot of me again, but I might change my profile's setup and maybe even my url, I do miss having Trolls as an interest, might make a proper pinned post for myself. I'm not sure if anyone missed me lmao, but then again I wasn't *that* active to begin with so oijdfsfjdios it would make sense if my absence went unnoticed lol.

What would Broppy do if Ivy turns grey?

Their hearts would shatter tbh. In my main ParentAU, I have some plans for her story that I can't wait to dive into. I haven't decided if she would have a gray moment, but she does have times where she feels the weight of the world

She is so much like Poppy but some of her traits directly mirror Branch. I had mentioned previously that most troll children start singing at a VERY little age, but Poppy and Branch did not hear her sing or see much of her musical side until she was 14 or 15 years old. She wasn't sad, but she did in some ways feel overwhelmed by her life. It very much reminded both Branch and Poppy of that era in their lives where Branch refused to sing, but now that they are seeing this moment again through Ivy, they never rushed her into anything, they let her take it at her own pace while providing her all the support they can. And that support is what made her feel safe to be herself.

how did the bros and viva feel about branch and poppy being captured seeing as 1. branch or poppy will say poppy name meaning jd will mention it at one point that their brother and his girlfriend poppy is captured, and 2. there is no way viva would stay behind if she knew poppy was captured or she will, who really knows.

The bros are really worried about Branch. They all (minus Floyd) still think of Branch as the baby of the family so they have this image in their head of him being scared and waiting for them to come rescue him like when he was a baby and had a nightmare or something. Floyd views Branch as an adult (like in the movie) but he’s still really worried about him, for obvious reasons, but he feels extra guilty because he’s been knocking about Mount Rageous since before Velvet and Veneer became famous. He feels like he should have known something was up and saved them just because he was nearby, even though that’s unrealistic. Kinda like “It was practically happening right around the corner from me; I should have known, I could have rescued you”.

When John and Bruce come to collect Clay, Viva tries to keep them at Hole ‘N Fun like in the movie, but as soon as Viva hears that the Queen of the Pop Trolls is trapped too (and confirming that her name is Poppy), she agrees to come with them, even though she’s terrified of the outside world. She feels a wild cocktail of ecstatic, relieved, worried and scared the whole time. It’s a bit of a miracle that she’s functioning but she’s got Clay with her to help her stay grounded.

Bruce - theorizes that his daughter LaBreezy will be the one to take over the restaurant.

Bruce - tries developing and inventing his own recipes, Brandy has to remind him that not everyone can handle as much sugar as a Troll can. He reels it back a bit.

Bruce - makes specific food for different reasons. E.g. makes bread when he's angry so he can take it out on the dough, makes lasagnas so he can use the leftovers as an excuse to visit someone, makes spicy dishes when he wants revenge.

John Dory - has been arrested before, he changes the reason everytime someone asks.

John Dory - occasionally uses 'chewing tobacco' (which honestly in the Trolls-verse would be some kinda chewing gum 😂)

(Putt-Putt baby names: Birdie, Par, Ace, Caddie, Fore, Eagle, Divot, Links, Scramble) Clay and Viva were present for every one of them hatching.

Rhonda - locks JD outside when she's annoyed with him. "Who needs you, I wanted to sleep on this rock anyway!"

Just watched Trolls Band Together...ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!😍😍😍(SPOILERS AHEAD, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!)

Oooh, my Harmonia...just got back from watching Trolls Band Together and my GOODNESS!!🤩✨🤩✨🤩Words cannot describe how amazed and engrossed I was into the whole movie!!💖💖💖Was it worth the seven month wait?😗TOTALLY!!😍😍😍It was absolutely fantastic, and I LOVED and enjoyed every single moment of it!!🥰

I was really getting into scenes, got quite a few laughs out of some scenes and was touched the wholesome ones~💕Branch's brothers were just as enjoyable on screen - John Dory still being my fave as he grew throughout the movie (LOVE Rhonda too!😁) Spruce/Bruce is such a lovable family man, Clay was (serious)ly awesome in his scenes and the tender moments between Floyd and Branch really got me...especially with the flashbacks...🥲 It was so great to see Grandma Rosiepuff again, though I do wish there was more feeling shown when her death was mentioned, hopefully the brothers will come to terms with it more in time...and Branch's bunker plan for them all, d'awww...~🥺So he DID build the bunker for all his family...😭 Viva was such an amazing character as well as she adorably bonded with Poppy (ooh, dear King Peppy, I know you were heartbroken at the time but c'mon...😅) and finally braved out of her comfort zone, and Tiny Diamond going through his big boy phase was real cute and funny😂Bridget and King Gristle were great too, it was lovely seeing them again along with the Bergens!😊 I had a feeling Velvet and Veneer were luring BroZone to them, they were such good villains with their goals and personalities but I am glad Floyd got through to Veneer in the end, and he saw the wrong he and his sister were doing, and came clean to everyone. And Crimp was a cutie and deserves better🫂(glad she got a hug from Poppy and stood up to Velvet and Veneer in the end😌) And it was also great to see some of the Snack Pack again too, including Prince D and especially my darling Cooper too, eeeee~!😍💗💗💗He looked so dapper!💝🥰 Speaking of Poppy, she was just as darling as ever~!😚I seriously LOVED her relationship and her undying love for Branch blossom so much here whilst supporting and fangirling for him all the way as they interacted, bless her~😊And that sweet BROPPY KISS!!🤭...🤩I was going 'YES!! FINALLY!!' under my breath, grinning from ear to ear in that moment~💙💖And that moment when I thought he was gonna pop the question during the performance during the end...hehe, maybe another time~😉But I certainly didn't expect *NSYNC to show up in their trollsonas near the end...what a twist!😮

The chase scene and perfect family harmony scene were truly epic and it really shows, it doesn't have to be perfect as long as we're altogether~💞💓All the locations of the brothers were stunning to look at, with Vacay Island and Spruce/Bruce's family, the creepy abandoned Bergen golf course with the Putt-Putt Trolls, and finally Mount Rageous - a whole lot of wonder to take in!💖Walt Dohrn, Gina Shay and the DreamWorks Animation Crew did such an fantastic job on everything!✨🌟✨And that huge BroZone hug...again, d'aaaaww~!😭

As for the songs...I'll be downloading the rest of the album now because they were all wonderful to listen to!🎧🎶Real boyband and 90's nostalgia~✨I know they're gonna be stick in my head for a long time, hehe!😆I have so many faves, especially all versions of 'Better Place'~😚
