did you ask the artist before reposting their art?

no, but from what i've always seen and assumed it's ok to crosspost an artist's work to another website as long as they are credited and/or sourced. also, posting from only flickr, users whose photos i post have almost all been inactive for multiple years. most of them use only their flickr usernames which makes it impossible to find them anywhere else on the internet. if i do find the real name of an artist i'm posting i put it in the tags, and my posts always include a source.

my goal is to archive photos from a dying website focusing on oldweb content and occasionally posting what flickr's active userbase is like and what they're up to now. if i'm unintentionally breaching someone's privacy or reposting art where i shouldn't, someone please let me know!
