Okay, I just have to say it to anyone feeling isolated or picked on or like the Main Character standing against Amazon's Wot-Show wrongs: nobody is mad that you don't like the show. People have different opinions! Different expectations! In a series this long there's dozens of things people will disagree on in terms of importance and that is normal!

You know what nobody likes?

The condescending, holier-than-thou attitude of some individuals who don't like the show who have decided that It Is Actually Bad And Terrible and anyone who likes it is Wrong.

Who constantly invade show-friendly spaces, who review bomb, who basically act like five year olds having a tantrum in the middle of Target.

People who I'm sorry to say don't seem to understand that there's no one way to adapt a series. Think of it like the works of Shakespeare and move on with your day.

The way I'd do it is going to be different than the way you'd do it, which will be entirely different from the way a third person will do it. That doesn't make any of us wrong - and YET you get mad when reasonable people point out that when you say the show is an Evil Bad Wrong No Good Bad Adaptation Without Question you are discounting those of us who think it's honestly not bad.

And then those same people wrap themselves up in a mantle of hurt and victimhood because everybody is being mean to them! Nobody understands!

Honey, we understand talking to you about the show right now is like talking down some drunk guy in a Denny's parking lot who is screaming at the curb. You aren't making rational points. You are Big Mad and trying to make it the problem of anybody who doesn't think the way you do.

I know I've made an effort to be understanding and empathetic about it, I've tried to explain my reasons for enjoying the show while seeing the point of others who hate it, but I'm tired of only receiving "that's cute you think that but Actually I Am Correct still" in return.

There's no growth, no learning, no further understanding. At this point it's bitching to bitch while pretending to be the only one knowledgeable on the subject. It's screaming about "that's not what I'm asking for!" while, actually, the complaints you're making are very much asking for a perfect 1 to 1 adaptation or some secret third thing that remains a mystery to me.

Either way, I love ya'll, I love WOT, I hope like hell this is a taken as the I Don't Know What Else To Do intervention, come-to-maker post it's meant to be but if it's not and you're angry maybe think about why.

Eventually they developed a love for gardening; it might not have been their only hobby but it's their favorite. Vil may not be a fan of getting dirty if it makes his kid happy he's happy! Just don't think he'll join the 2 of you. I heavily believe he could father either gender but I'm thinking a gorgeous little girl.

Rook Hunt-

12 kids, he's raising an entire football(soccer) team. He just can't help it, your pregnant image makes him feel aroused. So you pop out your own little team. You kids are super sneaky, even as babies they were able to sneak up on you. They all are suburb archers and could hit anyone in a 9 mile radius. The football(soccer) reference I made is ironic because I heavily believe your first and last kids both play football. Rook is such a proud dad, his kids could do anything and he's give them the ultimate praise, he never let's them forget how amazing they are. He is a parent that can find any excuse for his prefect children, because they can do no wrong. Except disrespect you, bc as their mother you gave birth to them, gave them life, and do your best to take care of them; so respecting you is no debate. You guys also have a family tradition of archery tag to start off the summer every year.

Epel Felmier-

6 kids, your kids have the most beautiful looks, just absolutely gorgeous. They are also extremely competitive, on the farm when it comes to chores they always try to finish first, and once you and Epel figure it out did you tell them they don't need to rush just to beat someone? Nah you two just decided whoever finishes first gets the most allowance, it may sound bad but it gets work done and those kids now can finish any work in record time!! Your kids are very adventurous and lucky for them dear old dad is always willing to support their curiosity. He never lets his kids doubt themselves, he teaches them to be proud yet not too proud. He is the best father to his kids. I also have a feeling the whole family has a competion around apple picking season, whoever gets the most wins, the prixe changes every year.

Idia Shroud-

2 kids, who are absolutely extroverts, loving talking and hanging out with people, everyone loves them. Idia doesn't know how them became such extroverts but he loves them anyway. He may not like human interaction much but he loves spending time he can with his kids. If there is something him and his kids is there love for video games, every Friday they have tournaments to se who wins. You join in as well; your little family loves these games because you get to be together. In terms of girl or boy dad, the 2 of you have 2 boys!(Bonus: If you don't want to name them Castor and Pollux he probably nicknames them that <3!!; and yes they are Gemini's)

You were busy inside the kitchen of the dorms, ready to cook something nice for your sweet and hardworking boyfriend. He was out late with the members to prepare for a comeback which you didn't mind, you were used to his strange work hours by now.

With some music in the background, your hips swaying on 'Sorry' from Justin Bieber and an apple in your hand which you were peeling because you would make a small fruit salad as dessert, you felt happy. That is, until a sharp pain in your palm distracted you.

Looking down at the blood your heart dropped, not because you were hurt from accidentally cutting yourself, but because you knew your boyfriend. You went to hold the cut underneath the streaming water from the tap when the door opened and loud noise filled the room.

You heard Harua and Maki laugh about something Taki had said as they were all taking off their shoes before entering. Two strong arms wrapped around you from behind and warmth enveloped you. Kei obviously felt your body tensing against his own and frowned.

"Baby? What have you done?" He asked when he saw the cut in your palm.

"It's nothing, I was just being dumb." He took your hand in his and gently rubbed the back of your hand with his thumb.

"What am I gonna do with you?" He asked more to himself than to you.

"Kiss it better?" You asked to which he laughed and went to kiss your palm better.

Stressing over stupid little things was not unusual for you. Of course you'd be overreacting over something that had absolutely no impact on your life but you also did not want your new coworkers to think you were an idiot.

You had just had your first day at your new job and because you wanted to make a good impression, you might've accidentally knocked against the printer. The machine was okay but you ended up with a sprained ankle due to the fall.

Nobody laughed and instead two very sweet women helped you but you were embarrassed. Of course, nothing beats the fact that you had to somehow explain to your very caring boyfriend what had happened.

When you limped inside the dorms, he immediately could tell something was awfully wrong even though you tried to hide it.

"Honey?" Fuma asked and watched you make your way towards the couch slowly. "How was your first day at your new workplace?"

"Great! Amazing! Couldn't be better." You finally sat down and let out a sigh of relief because your ankle could finally rest.

"Hm." Fuma hummed and sat down next to you. "And now I want the truth, please."

"Alright, I fell, nothing too bad, just a sprained ankle."

"Well, you won't be walking the next few days." You stared at him with a deadpan look in your eyes. "What? You need to give it time to heal."

He watched you walk towards the garbage can underneath the bookshelf inside his room and he also watched as you bend down to throw away some paper, came up and accidentally knocked your head straight against the wood of said shelf.

His first intention was to laugh it off because truth be told, it did look funny but when he saw the way you were obviously trying to hide how much it hurt you yet the tears bottled up in your eye, he knew it was not funny for you.

"Princess/Prince?" He asked carefully, getting up from his bed and walking over to you. "Are you okay?" You tried to hard not to cry because it would be very pathetic of you, but when the first tear fell, he coed at you and wrapped you up in a hug.

"It's okay." He whispered against your hair as he rubbed your head gently where you had hit the shelf. "My little clumsy duck--"

"Not funny." You muttered against him.

"I'm not laughing, princess/prince." Nicholas stated but couldn't help and smile. "I just need you to be a bit more careful next time." He cupped your cheeks in his hands and kissed your forehead. "Or your pretty little head might fall off one day."

Sure when you were asked to help move the couch in the dorm, you agreed in a heart beat, mostly because it was your boyfriend who asked. The boys had a clear vision and it made a lot of sense in your head too.

The couch was too far in the front, they wanted to move it against the wall and had to move both the couch and the closet to do so. You had one hand on the back rest of the couch while the other rested on the armrest. When Yuma gave you the sign, you pushed forward with EJ and Jo.

When the couch hit the wall brutally because of the force you all had, one of your precious fingers got stuck between the couch and the wall which made you help before pulling it back. You looked down at the bleeding nail but were relieved it wasn't much worse.

"Oh my God!" Jo shrieked when he saw the slightest bit of blood. "I am so sorry!"

"You didn't do anything." You told him to which EJ chuckled and walked over to you. He took your hand in his to check the wound.

"Does it hurt a lot?"

"No, it did when it got stuck but it's fine now." You assured him, which was the truth.

"I will still get it desinfected just in case." EJ muttered and dragged you towards the kitchen even though you said you didn't need it.

-Yuma

You were not a big fan of PE, especially when it was running but you decided to keep your own pace and it should be fine. Well, it was fine for about fourty minutes until you had to do sprints. Your friends were all just as annoyed as you were but you had to do it.

So, when you began to run and your foot got stuck underneath a treebranch, since you were outside for your tests, you fell to the ground. For a second you were disoriented, not sure what had happened but then you saw the branch behind you and it made sense.

"Are you okay?" Yuma asked, appearing by your side immediately. He took your hands gently and pulled you up from the ground. Your knees were hurt the most as they had caught your fall and unfortunately, you scraped them open.

"Yuma, how about you bring them to the school nurse?" Your teacher asked your boyfriend who immediately agreed and went to grab your bag. You walked with him inside the school as he held your hand tightly.

"I'm proud you didn't laugh." You commented to which he gasped dramatically.

"Why would I laugh? You are hurt!"

"Remember that time I knocked my head against the glass door because I thought it was open and you ended up wheezing?"

"That was different!" Yuma tried to defend himself. "You were laughing too! I would've never laughed if you were actually hurt. I love you too much for that."

"Can you repeat that, please?"

"Repeat what?"

He really did not mean to, but it kind of just happened and he completely knocked himself up because of it. See, you two were just playing basketball -- for as much as you were able to play -- because Jo was obviously much better.

He had scored once more and picked up the ball. He told you it was your turn and thought you were paying attention so he threw it into your direction and accidentally hit your face. Now, it did not hurt too bad but the moment he saw your bleeding nose, he was panicking.

"I'm so, so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you! I would never do something like that on purpose--"

"Jo!"

"I swear! I am so so sorry! Please, yell if you want but don't leave me--"

"Jo! Listen to me, you dork!" He shut up once you actually raised your voice. You had to, he wouldn't listen otherwise so, you chuckled at him and continued in a softer tone. "My nose was already bleeding before you hit me with that ball."

"What? But, does it hurt? Why would your nose start bleeding?"

"It does that sometimes when the temperature drastically changes. I mean, it has been warm the previous months and today it is surprisingly chilly. Stop worrying."

"I'm still very sorry." Jo said and wrapped his arms around you tightly.

"You have nothing to be sorry for, believe me."

-Harua (I wonder what would happen if I forgot him XD)

The upcoming exams had you completely stressed. You wanted nothing more than to run away from all the trouble and spare yourself even more overthinking but you couldn't.

When you were stressed, you did a bunch of stupid and out-of-the ordinary stuff like accidentally snapping at your boyfriend who only tried to help.

You couldn't help but feel guilty so you arrived at the dorms to make it up to him. It was already dark and it had been raining outside. You quickly took your shoes off and walked down the hallway to the living room where you heard the tv. He sat on the couch alone.

You walked over, your foot accidentally slipped in a small puddle that someone had created and you fell to the ground. Harua was startled and looked over to see you. He frowned to himself in confusion.

"I wanted to apologize for snapping but I guess Karma was quick to punish my actions." You said with a groan. Harua stood up and walked over to you, he squatted down next to you.

"That puddle was Nicholas when he dropped his wet coat earlier." He told you and stroked a hand through your hair. "Apology accepted." He helped you stand up. "Are you hurt?"

"No, I'm fine." You assured him to which he nodded and made you sit next to him on the couch.

He was teaching you some dance moves from their new coreography because you wanted him to. Taki had surprisingly much patience when it came to you and even supported you even though you knew you sucked. He was just glad he got to share this with you.

You had a small break and opened your waterbottle to take a sip as you explained something that had happened at school that day. Your free hand was moving along to punctuate your points when you accidentally hit it against the wall.

At first glance it didn't look that painful and Taki had chuckled at your clumsiness but when he saw your scraped knuckles and the blood, he stopped and turned serious immediately.

"Does it hurt?"

"Not much, just a slight sting."

"You have to be more careful." He told you and took your hand in his. "I cannot wrap you in bubblewrap but if I have to I might wrap everything around you."

"Hey! I'm not that bad!"

"Honestly, y/n, I think you might be worse."

Maki was always supportive, even when you were going absolutely crazy. He loved dogs more than anything and luckily for him, so did you but when you got close to this beautiful little homeless chihuahua to pet him, he knew it was a bad idea.

You should've known that chihuahuas weren't going to warn you before biting but you were still surprised when he bit your finger. You yelped and stepped away from the dog to which you heard Maki sigh.

"Do not comment on it!" You warned him to which he chuckled. "I know I was stupid, I do not need a lecture."

"You know what? I would tell you 'I told you so' if I didn't love you so much." Maki said to which you smiled. "Regardless of that. . . I told you so." Your smile disappeared to which he laughed.

"Yeah, well, laugh about my misery! I might be in pain!" You complained to which he cooed at you.

"I'm sorry, I'll get you ice cream to cheer you up."

"Sounds good to me!"

it was fine, for about 30 minutes- until you got a phone call. "aww baby... you sent me out for a coffee that doesn't exist to play a game? how about we play my favourite game when I get back, hm?"

needless to say, it was a while till you got that coffee. what didn't take long though was mikey's voice to echo around the place- yelling at the other bonten exec's to 'find the recipe! y/n is thirsty!!'

龍宮寺 堅 → ᗪᖇᗩKᙓᑎ was in the shop, fixing up a bike while you sat pretty on a stool watching him work. it wasn't all bad, you both were spending quality time with each other (and you got to see him flex those nice pair of arms)

"hah? your not going to eat?"

"ah, no- but I am craving something. it's called a Russian twist, apparently it's a coffee-"

"no. your drinking something healthy, lets go eat lunch with water. too much coffee isn't good for you-"

Singing in the shower

Your favorite way to get rid of a bad day was to blast some of your favorite musical tunes while taking a shower

Your day had been super long. Consisting of 8am classes up until a 5pm night class. Those days were the most exhausting and Joe knew that. Not only did your day feel like years, it was also super frustrating because one of your professors would teach one thing and then say people were wrong when repeating exactly what she had said. (a/n: I have a professor like this rn and its infuriating)

Coming home from class, you still had a buttload of homework to do. The 2 hour gap you had at lunch time wasn't enough time to get stuff done like it usually was. When unloading your stuff at your desk at home, you made sure to plug in your computer so it would have battery for your work later. Sometimes, when you had stressful days, you'd do homework downstairs while Joe would clean or play games, his presence calming you.

"Hi princess, how was class?" he asked when he saw you come down the stairs. He was taking a shit when you originally got home.

"It was alright, it was just super stressful and my professor pissed me off," you sighed, pouring yourself a glass of wine.

"I'm sorry baby, I remember those days and how frustrating they are," he said, pulling you into a hug. You let out a sigh, letting some stress from the day begin to fade. Joe had cooked dinner for you since he knew how hungry you were when coming home from your long class days. He made your favorite comfort meal, butter noodles and roasted asparagus.

"Thanks for cooking, Joey. It's delicious," you said with a mouth full of food, unlocking your iPad to look at your planner. Joe glanced at the amount of assignments that you had yet to do, giving you a kiss and walking away so you could get started.

After finishing your meal, you set your plate in the sink and headed toward the living room where Joe was playing games. He looked over at you and smiled as you sat down with your computer, iPad, and glass of wine. You opened your devices and got to work.

After about an hour, Joe had finished up his game and came over to check on you, digging his thumbs into your shoulders to help you destress a little bit.

"Mmmm baby that's so good. I never realize how tense I am until you do this," you sighed into his touch.

"How about a hot shower baby? You can sing your little heart out, I know how much that helps you destress," he suggested as you closed your computer. You had gotten plenty done, and the only assignments you had left were due at the end of the week.

"Actually, that sounds amazing," you said, stacking up your things, making sure your Apple Pencil was attached to your iPad. You always seemed to misplace that damn thing.

Joe headed up toward your shared master bathroom, getting the water started for you. You followed him up there, picking out some comfy clothes, opting for a pair of his boxers and one of his large t-shirts. You grabbed the JBL speaker out of your nightstand and turned it on. Pulling up your favorite playlist called theater songs to sing at the top of your lungs.

After the shower had been heated up, Joe headed downstairs to work on cleaning up the kitchen. You got undressed and cranked up the volume, the song Burn from Hamilton turning on. As you began to lather your shampoo, you sang along and scrubbed your scalp. Closing your eyes and enjoying the sensation of the suds cleansing you.

You continued to sing, not hearing Joe come into the bathroom. The steamy doors to the shower were foggy, so you could not see that he had taken his shirt off in hopes of climbing in with you.

“Is it alright if I join you?” He asked, peeking in through the shower door.

“Of course Joey, you just have to agree to sing with me,” you giggled.

Joe undressed and joined you, placing his arms around your waist and pulling you out from under the warm stream of water. His body glistened under the droplets, holding you tight.

Joe knew your musical playlist and sometimes he really enjoyed singing with you. It was a great mental detox for the both of you. The song Five Forever from Little Women came on and you grabbed your shampoo bottle and pretended to use it as a microphone. Joe followed, but used your conditioner. While he's not the most talented singer, he doesn't care what he sounds like around you. You two harmonize, taking different character's parts and singing along.

After Five Forever, the song She Used to be Mine from Waitress played. At this point, you had completed your whole shower routine and were just in there to sing and let it out. Singing was definitely better than screaming.

This was one of those songs where you didn’t care how you sounded, you always had to belt it.

After setting down the shampoo and conditioner bottles, Joe pulled you into a hug, wrapping his hands around the small of your waist.

“Let’s dry off and get some ice cream, shall we?” He asked, turning off the water and going to open the shower door. He grabbed your towel out of the towel warmer, making sure to wrap you up first. He squeezed you tight in the towel, almost like you were his child.

Joe grabbed his towel and wrapped it around his waist, water droplets still glistening on his skin. You walked over to the sink, still wrapped up in your towel. You started your in depth skincare routine because it was definitely one of those nights. Joe enjoyed your company while you continued to hum along to your playlist as Still Hurting from The Last Five Years played.

After completing your skincare, you tossed on Joe’s boxers and t-shirt, finding your slippers near the door and heading downstairs with Joe to get ice cream.

He grabbed your individual pint out of the freezer and handed you a spoon. You poured yourself a glass of Barefoot Moscato. Joe always messed with you about liking cheap wine considering what he could afford.

You two cuddled up on the couch and turned on BroadwayHD to watch Falsettos, your favorite comfort musical. The one that always made the both of you cry.

Joe really was the best, good singer or not. He knew what you needed and when you needed it. And tonight was the perfect example of Joe at his sweetest.

I really love Basil's character, or I did; I really like his complexity and how he was written in canon, but the fandom has now, unfortunately, conditioned me into being severely irritated whenever I see his face. This entire take will get me nailed to a cross by the Omori community, but so be it.

I don't think I can coherently share my reactions to the Martyr-King's Cup

(I'm not done yet, just stopped playing today at the point right before going to the Blue Kingdom, nobody mention how it ends thanks)

aaaaaaaaaaaaa (major sskies spoilers under the cut)

The crew watching the Captain be seized by a higher power. Falling under the spell of moonlight. Dragging everyone across the far reaches of the skies on a "quest" for bits of garbage and a broken painting, which by all accounts seems like they've gone mad, but then there's a real magic sword and you use it! You use it to slay the monster lurking in the clock tower.

(which I strongly suspect was Veils, cmon, bat-winged beast glutted on thousands of years of violence. And additionally on that bullet point, AAAAA compared to the amount of painful preparation you have to do in BAL, which doesn't even fully work, versus here in skies you have a sword that was used to end the reign of a judgement - it's such a stark difference in power).

I'm also... emotional at the idea of the Hoarder watching the Captain slipping from reality. It watches them kill who might be Veils and revel in the triumph. Apples and Veils were allies in Old London. What must it be thinking... It refuses to let the Captain near after that incident, not till this issue is resolved. They're unstable and unpredictable right now and what if they think it's a monster next? It has to protect the babies. 😭 I didn't expect to get angst arc in their relationship and yet.........

ANYWAY back to game, the sword is called the Minute to Midnight, which only makes me think of December despite the context of the weapon's use.

The Arthurian quest is masterfully done. I feel like I'm back in my Brit lit college course, and also the Renaissance fair.

The delightful insanity. The inherent eroticism of a powerful being manipulating you 😳 and the writing is so damn funny. The simple mental image of the crew and officers reacting is too much. (Also! The ambition integrates your officers' presence which doesn't happen often! Yay!) The butter knife stabbed into the table instead of a sword. Something about me is that my physical shows of emotion tend to be muted but I've been laughing out loud the whole time. Most excellent.

Then again, my response to horror is also to laugh :)

I'm playing through full embrace of moonlight this time. Strongly get the sense this is going to lead to a bad ending for me but what can I say, I chose what looked cool at the time.

But I intend to immediately restart it and play with no moonlight, because the story is told in a vastly different way depending on the quality. It's just so much. I'm blown away.

In conclusion, THE KING OF HOURS IS A BASTARD 🔪⏳👑☀️ if you know you know

And I'm yelling re: the Blue Kingdom's involvement, lmao, they act all reclusive and poised but they too have killed stars over philosophical disagreements. Who would win, the King of Hours trying to be immortal or the Arbiter of Fates aligned with the Philosophy of Culmination? (it's the Arbiter. girlboss moment)

This also clears up a question I had of how the King of Hours died. I knew the devils had rebelled from the Irem update in Fallen London, but Skies makes it seem like the only way for lower beings to kill a Judgement is with the aid of another Judgement. So the Blue Kingdom helped. Got it.

So now I have to kill three (3) (III) Logoi and I'm so so so so so scared someone please come pick me up I'm so bad at combat and they move so fast and have so much health and attack power. I managed to finish an Undeparted once but oof. And while typing this I just remembered it's hard to repair hull in the Blue Kingdom. 😀👍

I think that when Aizawa taught Eri about the holidays, he maybe left out a few key details about Santa. Because when he finds the letter she left for him, he can't help but chuckle.

She's left it laid out for Santa on the coffee table in the living room and has since gone to bed for the night. Aizawa skims it again and again, reading to himself:

She drew little hearts and what looked like both candy canes and pumpkins around the margins, and Aizawa laughs that not even once did she mention a gift she would like. 

Mirio spends the next day explaining to her in grandeur terms that Santa will give her anything and that's he magic and all she has to do is ask him for it, and she stares in awe and then considers it deeply before responding, "I like candy apples!"

Aizawa is sure she'll like the gift he got her just fine: a new hero costume, something small she can wear around school when he's in his.

He also got her some plushies. She tends to enjoy cuddling up when she goes to sleep, and he often finds her holding a pillow when he has to wake her. 

Aizawa doesn't mind not explaining to Eri that Santa already knows her name because it saves him trouble in the future. Plus, the kid is too inquisitive and bright for her own good. He'll stick with Santa being her pinpal who leaves her a surprise gift or two every year.

I just think that the one year Kyouka leaves wrapping presents to Denki that he loses his whole entire mind.

Kyouka gets called in on xmas eve and Denki is like yeah yeah yeah I got everything. Don't worry babe. See you on xmas morning.

And he does have everything: the baking cookies for Santa, impromptu xmas music dance party while they're in the oven, watching a xmas movie, bedtime stories, and super fun red and green striped pajamas.

All is going great with the kids in bed by 9 until... packaging.

He's tearing the paper with his hands, misplacing the tape every 5 seconds, biting ribbon off the spool, and tearing his hair out to get it done. 

He feels like he's been doing this all night, staring at the clock to see an hour has gone by, but there's still a massive stack to wrap. He's already wrapped... 4... 4! 4?? He huffs in frustration, throwing a remote control car aside as he grabs the next gift. 

The doll is probably the worst one. It takes him 3 times as long to figure out the packaging than it does the other gifts, and when he sets it with the other stack of finished gifts, he's relieved. Until he finds later that the paper has torn???

He suppresses the urge to scream as he picks up the doll, electricity buzzing across his fingertips. He grabs more gift wrap, huffing exasperatedly, trying to patch it, but the doll's arm just pierces it again, and soon, before he can think about what he's doing, the paper crumples into ash as he zaps the toy with an electric current. The doll is fried, face a bit burnt and hair sticking straight up, and he grits his teeth in embarrassment, deciding maybe it's time to take a break.

He goes to "make sure" Santa has eaten his cookies with a glass of milk and then goes back to his room to reevaluate.

Just as soon as he's finished transferring wrapped gifts to underneath the tree, he hears a familiar voice behind him ask, "How's it going?"

He turns to see his wife smiling back at him, still wearing her hero gear and clearly just having walked in. 

Kyouka laughs when she sees the doll.

"I kind of figured honestly," she teases, and Denki feigns outrage.

"I can't believe you think so little of me," he pouts, and she chuckles as she pulls out another doll from the top of their closet.

"I just had a feeling..." she says, taking the wrapping paper and packaging it in a quick two minutes.

"You're magic," Denki says in awe, and she laughs.

"Whatever... You're the one that pulled off Christmas Eve all by yourself. I think you're magic."

"I love you," Denki mutters against her lips, and she gives him a peck.

"Love you."

I think that Kaminari goes skating every year, and now that he and Sero are dating, he invites him to come with.

Sero agrees without a second thought but acts bashful when the night comes.

They get some hot cocoa when they arrive, and Kaminari notices that Sero seems to look nervous, holding onto the cup tightly and darting his eyes to the ground nervously.

"Hey, you okay?" Kami asks him, and he chuckles a little.

"Y-yeah. For sure. Uh-" 

He scratches the back of his neck, his face flushed, perhaps from the cold or otherwise, as he admits, "I just, uh- well, I don't actually know how to skate..." Kaminari smiles big at him, and Sero returns it as they both start to laugh.

"Oh! That's fine, babe. I mean, we definitely don't have to, but... I can teach you." Sero smiles big and nods at him, taking his hand as they go to rent skates.

He's unsteady when he steps on the ice, and the look of panic in his eyes when he steps onto the rink sends Kaminari into a giggling fit. 

He holds him tight, but his wobbling just encourages Kaminari's chuckles until Sero's feet are sliding up from under him and sending him and Kaminari into a heap on the ice.

Kaminari is inconsolable, and Sero can't help but smile, even with the ache from hitting the ice so hard.

Serroki where Hanta goes to The Todorokis' Christmas dinner

CW// Shouto getting overstimulated, cute boyfriends fluff

They haven't been dating for long, and this is their first Christmas being together, but Shouto asks him to come because Christmas dinner always proves to be difficult in his family, and he'd feel better having Hanta there with him.

Hanta knows how short Shouto's social battery is, particularly around his family, so he's prepared when midway through their meal, Natsuo starts to argue with their father and Shouto stands up abruptly and shuffles out of the room without a word.

He had been attuned to the way Shouto had been fidgeting with his fingers, drumming them against the top of his thigh before his eyes went vacant altogether for awhile, tuning it all out.

Then he was gone, and Hanta excused himself politely soon after to find him.

It didn't take long. Just down the hall was a coat closet beneath the stairs where he found Shouto nuzzled beside some boxes and totes, cradling his knees.

Hanta just smiled and sat down beside him, leaving a few inches of space between them as he pulled out his phone.

He sent him a request to play an iMessage game, and Shouto accepted it without looking up, playing a round of Connect 4 as Hanta listened for Shouto's breathing to level.

After a couple more games, Shouto had leaned into Hanta, allowing him to cradle him closely, placing kisses on his cheek.

They passed a chunk of the evening there in careful silence, and the family hardly noticed they had gone when they finally slipped back to the living room after Shouto had calmed down.

I sent a rock emoji in Discord today and let me tell you i was stunned by what i saw. I needed to know if all rock emojis were that bad, or if it was a special stand-out. I won't spoil the answers, but here's my rating of ever rock emoji, as listed here: https://emojipedia.org/rock#designs

it looks like a de-saturated blob of chewed gum. That's not a solid object, that's goop. 3/10

WhatsApp (2020-2023)

I see what they're going for here- it certainly looks like a rock, and I appriciate the attempt at giving it a kind of crag-y nature to it, but to me it ends up looking a bit disjointed. The texturing is nice, I like the wavy lines on the side- i'm not sure if real rocks would have a pattern like that but I see what they're going for. 8/10

Next up, Microsoft,... OH microsoft baby what are you doing DOING

the first one was fine!!! It was so fine!!!! The shading is ok, and the thick black outline was really helping to define it as an object. Without the outline its hardly there. It's not even a unique shape its just a slightly wonky triangle, and the shading makes NO sense on the newer ones. I don't like it. the past is in the past, they're being rated for their current sins: 2/10

Microsoft 3D fluent (2023)

this looks like the texture for an iron nugget in Minecraft, which sure, iron is a type of rock, i guess. it also looks like the free to earn currency in a sci-fi NFT game. Still identifiable as a type of rock, i guess. 5/10

Samsung (2020-2023)

This one is nice- its a rock. I like the gloss, it seems polished, which is maybe a bit funny because its simultaneously polished but also a bit mossy at the bottom, but these are all aspects that rocks have, and thus that makes it a good stand in for the concept of a rock. 8/10

Google Noto Color Emoji (2020-2023)

Well, its a rock. I appreciate how it leans more into a warm grey as opposed to all the cool tone (or..straight up white????) rocks we've seen so far. My main issue is with the bit of shading in the center of it- I'm typing this on a computer and haven't seen this emoji in its native environment of being small on a phone screen, so I tried zooming out the webpage as far as it'd go (30%) and the shading certainly looks better small, but it still strikes me as a bit off- i wonder if it really needs to be there. Not a bad rock by any means though, 7/10

Noto Emoji Font (2023)

So, this is actually a black and white version of the previous emoji, and that makes me appreciate both more. I wish they followed the shape of the lines more with the color emoji, because here the shape is really spot on. It's both a rock and a mountain. 8/10

Apple (2020-2023)

This isn't just a rock, this is a CHUNK of EARTH. it's got DETAIL, its got STRIPES. it's a nice fucking rock. 10/10

This looks like a chunk of ore from an old school RPG. This is ripped from Runescape (not actually). It's the only rock that's straight up green. It looks WORSE when its smaller. 7/10

Ok. I can't hate every single one of these kind of simplistic rock emojis that are just angular blobs of color...but with something as simple as a rock its just so hard to get it minimal in a satisfying way- but it's NOT impossible. This one isn't so bad, its just kinda...meh, I guess. 5/10

colorized Pictochat drawing. You could fight on this in Super Smash Bros. The last of the black outlined rocks (well, kinda)- though for some reason the lines don't fully connect. It almost looks like a face to me for some reason. 6/10

this is a minimal rock done well. The shading makes sense, its got a solid rock shape. 6/10

what the fuck is this. It looks like the doodles all over my school work after i learned what a vanishing point is. It's simultaneously popping out at you and receeding back into the screen. Lighting? Who is she. awful. 0/10

this one is battle scarred. This is a rock that's been through some shit. 3/10

WHAT A LEGEND. This looks like an asset from a mobile game. Love the sheen and the perspective. It's even a warm grey! Such a fantastic Rock. 11/10

well I'll be damned, a competent Rock from Microsoft. I don't know why they lean so heavily into cold light greys, but hey at least this one isn't straight up white I guess. 5/10

Huawei (2023)

This looks like an unmoulded lump of clay- its even got divots that are roughly fingerprint shaped. Not bad though. 4/10

Facebook (2020-2023)

This looks like someone's 4th ever attempt at shading something realistically. Its an unblended circle, except it seems like they tried to blend a ,little bit in places and it looks...incredibly sloppy up close. what the fuck. 1/10

Being fan of Darling AND Daring can be difficult because they're like my babies okay? They're siblings, siblings fight that's okay.

But Daring is not a bad person, please I'm sure he isn't a bad person. And maybe it's the problem I have with some fanfics and maybe that's why I haven't read a fanfic that looks great but one tag says "Daring is not a good person" or something like that and I lost my desire. He isn't bad :(, as an older sister, I myself think that he does love his siblings a lot.

Fighting with your siblings or things like that doesn't always mean you don't love them, I would give my life for my little brother but I still don't want him to grab my charger for his tablet.

And I think in the context of Ever After High a lot of things are the fault of King Charming and Queen Charming's upbringing they gave to their children. Because they raised Daring to believe he was the best and that he could only be the best, while Dexter had to be second best and Darling a helpless princess and that's it.

So it isn't my boy fault, It's like people who defend Apple because she's not bad, it's just that Snow White raised her that way.

So I think the same about the Charming siblings, because who's to say that maybe Daring wanted to have other tastes that his dad wouldn't approve of, and maybe he just did what his dad said because what else was he supposed to do?

King Charming literally molded his children into what he wanted them to be, in a mold. At some point, Darling and maybe Dexter didn't like being in that mold because it wasn't them because maybe they did have other tastes and maybe their parents didn't pay as much attention to them and they could have their own tastes. But maybe the only thing Daring has is that mold, Daring feels that he is that mold because it is everything his father has told him.

And , but as I said before, if Apple can be a lesbian and break out of that mold that she thought defined her, why can't Daring do the same? I think I've said it before but it would be really cool if they had left it as if Daring didn't a destiny meaning that he could have his breakdown and everything and be free from that mold that his father forced him to be.

And I'm saying a lot about that character that I also said I hated but that I realized that all my hatred was unjustified.

But as I said, many of the things that made Apple be and will change and break its mold and blah could also have been had by Daring because it is assumed that both were from the same story and that possibly they were friends but maybe just friends because they spent time together for a long time to prepare to be married and have their happily ever after. Which it seemed like they both wanted because it was the only thing he had apart from bad parents and although in Daring's case he has the twins, his siblings.

And maybe the three siblings were in need of love, but Darling and Dexter were looking for something more genuine and that's why they had few friends and maybe Daring lived on people's approval and that's why he liked to be surrounded by people and that they love him even if it's not real.

And maybe instead of Epic Winter, it would have been cool to see Apple and Darling accept their new destiny, Daring having eight hundred breakdowns because he was only popular for being a Charming, and for supposedly being Apple's prince charming but since he is not, he was no longer as popular or almost not popular at all and that together with what his father would say when he found out would ruin him.

It would also have been nice to see Darling chatting with Daring after she "stole" his destiny that Daring may not have really wanted but was all he had. Dexter could be there to comfort both of his siblings.

And I feel like I haven't done a post this long in a long time but that fanfic I read that didn't feel like Daring to me upset me a little, IT ISN'T HIS FAULT OKAY???? :(((( It's King Charming's fault, I hate him.

And who says no, maybe Daring secretly taught Dexter and Darling how to fight with swords much better and self-defense and those things that they taught him that they didn't teach Darling.

Could this be considered character analysis? Possibly yes.

Prince and Consort Dad/Family Headcanons Pt 1

i had so much fun thinking these up and honestly, several of them are just good material for fluffy little fics i think i'll write at some point. i'm gonna post these in a couple parts since there are a couple other bonus characters i'm writing up ideas for. :)

i think they'd either A) wait a few years into being married to have kids, which i can picture being something that would perhaps buck tradition a bit, or B) get knocked up before they tie the knot and then just very rapidly do a big 'ol fancy wedding in avari

i can see him being maybe mildly shocked but then reacting like "yes of course" like it was inevitable that this would happen at some point.

guy on his "you're mine" bullshit as per usual amirite

he would be basically draconian while she's pregnant but in a way that is both nonsensically paranoid and masking that he's anxious about her wellbeing

like sentencing her to bedrest for literally no reason, making her eat specific foods, etc.

they'd fight about it and eventually he'd ease off somewhat

he would have jasper provide him dossiers of information about pregnancy and whatnot, but despite this...

he would 100% just assume all his kids would be boys and just be flabbergasted when they aren’t.

like he has, like, two daughters and then his son

he’d just go around like “when our son is born” and the mc is like “…uh?”

anyway he is STUNNED for awhile after the birth of their first girl, tho he does warm up to it all

very defensive of anyone who doubts the abilities of his girls (because you KNOW avari is sexist as fuck) and he is just completely inordinately proud of his children even if what they’ve done is just average 

chronically incapable of hearing anything negative about his kids from anyone

guy probably *should* reflect on his own childhood and consider the expectations that were placed on him, but in all honesty i don’t think he’s that self aware so i don’t think he really parents his kids with any particular thoughtfulness or strategy

he’s also a bit harsher on his son that on his daughters

i feel that he’d be the type to wanna do that vonn-trapp whistle shit but the mc would be like “absolutely not you weirdo”

guy is not as bad at being a dad and his own dad because his dad is like, some kind of fucking weird pirate villain, but he’s still not amazing

i feel that lynt would start trying to knock up the mc literally immediately after they get married 

just like “well this is what happens next, no?” and just go for it

i don’t think they’d actually have kids especially quickly, i think it’d take a few years of trying, which would be emotionally upsetting for the both of them. but they do eventually get pregnant

i think he'd try to be helpful during pregnancy and birth but i'm not confident he'd be super successful. think he'd be at a bit of a loss for what to do aside from maybe being a pillow

i think growing up as an only child makes lynt want to have at least more than one, so he’s very very pleased when they have their first babies: twin boys

a lot of lynt napping with the babies in the courtyard, sneaking away from prince duties to spend time with them 

family cuddle puddle 

both those boys have rather more serious and less sleepy temperaments than lynt as they grow up, taking a bit more after their mother 

this makes lynt a bit sad but then, when they boys are about seven: they have their third child, a girl

lynt is wrapped around her finger, she’s the absolute apple of his eye

she takes after him in personality and is with him like a little sidekick most of the time 

lynt shows up to events and she’s in his arms or holding his hand the whole time 

at balls they’ll disappear and be found napping in the hallway on a settee

anyways yeah. so fucking cute 

i do feel like lynt would be a tad oblivious to more serious things happening with his kids and might struggle to know how to provide support beyond a hug 

he would absolutely have a protective side, though, if needed

would burn bridges and start all kinds of shit if his kids were threatened 

no more conflict-averse lynt if it’s about his babies lol

i also feel like he’d both unintentionally and intentionally cockblock his own kids when they’re older lmao 

just showing up at the completely wrong times, constantly

he’s one of the princes i can see having a pretty large family, i feel like that suits him

they have like five or six kids in total, i think more boys that girls

they'd have kids maybe like a year or two after marrying. i think they'd plan that shit out meticulously. they don't give me the vibe that they'd be surprised by it, at least not for a first one

that picture-perfect prince thing does get carried into this arena as well, i think in order to soothe any anxiety or worry roy would kinda immerse himself into trying to be the most perfect supportive partner ever and would maybe go a bit overboard initially

but all that said i think roy would be a pretty great dad since by all i’ve seen his dad was pretty great too so he had a good example 

but he does make sure to shelter them from expectations of being perfect, or of having to save/advance the nation, definitely encourages them to be kids 

i feel like they’d do family camping trips and things like that 

he’d teach them how to ride horses also 

they have enough children that when they attend events outside of the country, roy and the mc can be seen counting everyone to make sure no one has wandered off somewhere 

roy walking around with two children under his arms lmao

carrying on some kind of completely perfect diplomatic princely conversation while wrangling a squirming toddler 

lmao i love it 

i think he’d be great with advice and guidance but that his kids would be like “🙄 ugh dad” because he would get a bit preachy with it 

100% that dad that turns a joke into a (well-intentioned) lecture 

roy’s kids like “do not try to show dad a meme he’ll ask you to explain it and ask how you know those people”

toa may be my actual favorite so this is a longer one

he does not have an especially big family which is almost a shame because i can imagine that he has some BEAUTIFUL children 

girl and a boy, in that order

i do see them having their first very soon after getting married but unintentionally, they got caught up and forgot their birth control potion or spell or whatever it is people do 

i feel that it’s a pretty stressful time given that mc is perceived as avarian, i feel that idina would have it out for her and that the pregnancy would have to be semi-secret for awhile due to various dangers 

toa has an anxious personality so he would be very on edge and protective

get that boy some lexapro STAT

i feel like toa would be at kind of a loss on how to be a father since his own sucks so bad 

like he’d know what he didn’t want to do but wouldn’t know what to do so i think he’d worry a lot and try to make up for it by doting on the mc, very mother hen toa 

i also think that when his kids are born and as they’re growing up, he’d have a lot of moments where he’d be processing his own childhood trauma 

like holding his son as a toddler and being like “i could never let anyone do to him what they did to me” 

like the experience would make him actually start to despise his father rather than just being intimidated 

so much hurt/comfort fic possibility with daddy toa lmao 

anyways 

toa’s pretty gentle with his kids, very calm, has high expectations for them academically but doesn’t really punish the kids for things very often given what he was subjected to, which could cause some issues but mc probably handles discipline so it turns out okay

his daughter takes after him in personality and is extremely magically adept- my suspicion is that since the mc also has ancient magic, any kids she has with a prince will all have ancient magic of some kind, but i think this is a *bit* more of an issue in qelsum than it would be maybe in the other countries

like mc is so out of place as a supposed avarian and toa is so frightened of her ancient magic being manipulated by gilbert that it’s kept very under wraps 

so their daughter comes along and is so magically proficient that it’s kind of shocking 

their son is also extremely magically adept, but not as serious or academic in personality as his sister, but since he’s a boy and expected to have ancient magic he receives more training on it openly when in qelsum 

which is frustrating for their daughter

she has a bit of a complex about it and so toa tries to tutor her privately when he’s able to 

they understand each other well- he sees a lot of himself in her so he can read her fairly easily 

i could go on about these dynamics for awhile, i feel like qelsum and toa and whatever family he’d have would be very complicated not necessarily because of his parenting

i don’t think he’d be the snuggliest warmest kind of dad (i mean more than his own dad but that’s not saying much) but i do think he’d be the kind of dad that just brings them fruit 

was gonna be candy but mc was like “you’re giving them a sugar high all the time please don’t”

so he just send them plates of cut up fruit when they’re studying or whatever 

buys like a ton of whatever his kids say that they like 

i think he shows his love for his kids by doting on them and worrying about them

interrogates his kids on whether or not they’ve been sleeping or eating enough or if they feel sick or if they’ve gotten outside lately and do they need any help with their homework and-

very worrywart toa

i think he’d get his feelings hurt if kids like ever purposefully kept secrets or snuck around 

he wants them to feel like they can come to him with anything and i think sometimes struggles to express those feelings

like roy he’d also have a larger family but by luxure standards i guess it’d be small lmao 

they’d wanna wait a good couple years before having their kids

no birth control mishaps with them, fenn is too experienced with that shit lmao

however i do think there’d be a possibility that their first kid would be motivated by trying to get kieran to back off 

like we know how he acted in some of fenn’s event routes, i think it’s entirely likely that he’d be trying to figure out how to get rid of MC before she can produce a next heir, yknow? he's a lil smarmy bitch and it feels in character to me

so i think that could be a cause for conflict but inevitably he would give up

my hypothesis: they have maybe like four, five kids?

i see fenn as being like, prone to showing off the mc while pregnant 

like “i did this 😏😌” lmao 

he’d be a fucking anxious wreck anytime the mc is in labor, i don’t think he handles her being in pain well 

just sitting outside the room with violet telling him to get his act together and stop freaking out

i think most of the princes get teary when their kids are born but i think fenn does in particular and it surprises him 

i also don’t think he’d be entirely certain how to be a parent other than just showing up and being around them a lot, which is what he didn’t have as a kid 

similarly to toa, fenn would have some childhood trauma/neglect to process while his kids grew up 

like watching his kids reach the age he was when the eva thing happened and being like 

“oh, i was taken advantage of and preyed on”

similar thing where his relationship with his father sours even more 

i think he’d be very protective of his kids, probably would steer them away from louis at every opportunity as a response

anyways 

i think they’d have a pretty tight knit family as a result of fenn trying his best to like, actually be present and know things about his kids 

i feel like he'd maybe write some stories for them since he's a writer

anyways yeah it’s cute 

mc is the one that puts the cut off at whatever number they end up having, genuinely think fenn would be like “wanna make another? 👀” lmao

also no matter who mc ends up with i have a headcanon that toa’s daughter and fenn’s daughter become bffs because that would be funny

oh you know he was MADE for this shit

they have a bajillion kids because of course they do 

most out of all the princes 

they have like eight or nine, just an absolute army, a stampede of kids, voleri children just popping up out of nowhere all the time 

rio attends an meeting between the princes and pulls an expected stowaway child out of his coat

all the princes looking at him like 😐🙄🤔 and he’s like 😄

he’s a super fun engaging kind of dad, their home is full of pillow forts and games and a lot of giggling 

i think they probably start having kids within about a year and people start asking them about kids, like, six months before the wedding even happens 

just the kind of place voleri is 🤷🏻‍♀️ i remember aidan being like “ah, your future wife!!” in an event when rio brought mc to the palace so that’s just what they’re like lmao

rio is fucking SO excited during the mc’s pregnancies but especially the first 

just telling EVERYONE that they’re having a baby!!! 😄 isn’t that great!!! a baby!!!

he'd dote on mc so bad, you just know it

feeds the HELL outta her, rubs her back and her feet, makes her teas, tucks her into bed

a frantic mess at first when she's giving birth

have you ever played the sims? y'know the animation that the dads have when the moms go into labor where they're freaking out? that rio's energy at first. but he gets it in check and then is fairly helpful, just being sweet and encouraging

after it’s born rio is just like

sneaking out of royal duties all the time just to go look at his kid 🥰 

papa rio is just very cute so nobody can really get all that mad at him for his antics, though aidan probably does have to kind of steer his attention back to work

rio keeps a thick book of wallet size pictures of his kids in his pocket at all times and shows them to people, it doesn’t matter if you don’t care or have already seen them, he’s showing you

anyways the palace is big enough that all these kids could have their own rooms but they share a few rooms instead, lots of bunk beds and whatnot

rio and the mc making the rounds through the rooms to tuck everyone in 

very wholesome, 10/10

i think rio would probably still be his oblivious self so more complicated issues might be handled by mc, but rio would be great at comforting his kids 

rio hugging a daughter through her first heartbreak and then bringing her a giant dessert tray lmao 

rio is a dad that cries at weddings 

can you imagine the adorable ass family photos they'd have? i die
