CO FASHION WEEK #HumanizeFashion CAMPAIGN: Before I officially launched #ColoradoFashionWeek in 2011, I spent the previous 24months working tirelessly to bring the emerging #FashionCommunity in #Denver together. Interestingly, I got more "...no, we are not interested..." and/or "...this will never work in Denver..." than I'd anticipated. Not discouraged, I pressed on anyways and sold everything I owned to launch Colorado Fashion Week. Fast forward under only a year in and a local hair show, seeing our enormous success, from our inaugural year, will #rebrand their event as a #FashionWeekend. Today, there are four different #FashionWeek events in beautiful #CityOfDenver--with one asserting credit for having built the #LocalFashionIndustry. Although this is an absolute nonesense and deeply #inaccurate an assertion, I like the fact that there is 'some sort' of an #industry in this majestic #City. Never be discouraged by the #negativity of others. Instead, listen deeply to your own #heart and then act accordingly. Just take action. Get back up if, and when, you fall. Get back up because you will fall down. But Keep Going. Be #Fearless. #BeRelentless. Be #unReasonable in the pursuit of your dreams. For the naysayers #DoNotMatter. A PIONEERING SPIRIT |  In Colorado Fashion Week’s inaugural year, we presented eight different fashion designers and one boutique with a combined total of over 225 garments going down the runway and more than 1,200 spectators attending throughout the week.

The Vision and Purpose of Colorado Fashion Week is to build Colorado’s global fashion industry presence as well as elevate Denver’s brand as a City—regionally, nationally and internationally.   

Our goal is to provide both the state of Colorado and the City of Denver the necessary foundational elements it needs to effectively position itself as an emerging fashion capital of the greater Rocky Mountain and Mid-America region.
