Countdown to Christmas

#1

Merry Christmas Eve to all who celebrate! As you read this, I am wrapping presents and doing my annual binge watch of ER.

....

Peter, Lydia, Cora, and Isaac were the only ones at home. They sat around the table and ate their bland dinner.

“This feels more like a double date than Christmas Eve,” Isaac said.

“You’re right,” Lydia agreed.

“It’s not awkward at all,” Cora added.

“Not at all,” Peter adhered.

Lydia cleared her throat. “What did you guys get Derek for his birthday and Christmas?”

Isaac finished chewing. “I got him noise cancelling headphones because this place is insane and an adult coloring book so he can relax and he can color with the kids.”

Peter set down his fork and looked next to him. “I reserved a time at the kid play center where they can go and jump into a pit of plastic balls. And reindeer pajamas.”

“You guys are nice,” Cora said. “I got him a lamb and a jar of pickles.”

The others all stared at her.

Cora shrugged. “What? He likes pickles!”

21. Where do they get nervous about going with one another?

Derek’s loft. Even though he 100% approves of their relationship and is happy they’re together bc he cares about them both, he likes to give them a hard time about it (lots of comments and eyebrow raises). Isaac gets really nervous bc he really craves Derek’s approval and the nervous energy radiating off of Isaac makes Cora anxious, too.

October 27th is Peter Hale's birthday. He may be 47, he may be 52, he may be 84, we're not sure and neither is Jeff, but it's October 27th.

In honor of the Chaotic One, here is a snippet of him being chaotic, but in a sweet way. Because I'm in a Pydia mood and he just adores her.

Lydia woke up at three forty three in the morning. She pulled the blankets up around her neck and shivered. It slightly tugged the blanket away from Peter who slowly opened his eyes. Her teeth were chattering and there was sweat on her forehead.

“Are you okay?”

“I’m so cold,” she stammered.

Peter pressed his lips to Lydia’s head and pulled back. He instantly got up and went into the bathroom. “You are burning up.” He sat down and held the thermometer out. She opened her mouth and he placed it carefully under her tongue. He waited impatiently for it to beep at him.

“One hundred. That is too high!” He put the thermometer aside on the table and gently covered her with all the blankets.

Peter went next door to Cora and Isaac’s room. The door was open, so he walked in and scooped up their blankets and carried them back to his room. Cora and Isaac blinked awake and noticed they had no coverings.

“Did we piss off the blanket fairy?” Isaac asked groggily.

Peter went to get the blankets from Stiles and Derek’s room. Stiles rolled over and looked at the doorway, but Peter had disappeared by then. He looked around and at Derek who was slowly rousing.

“What is happening?” Stiles mumbled.

Derek sat up and saw Peter walking down the hall to Jackson and Allison’s room and returning to his own room with blankets. Derek collapsed back on the bed and went to sleep.

Peter had gone to Malia and Scott’s room and swiped their blankets as well. Scott opened his eyes as Peter was leaving. He looked down at himself. Malia was still passed out.

“I’m cold now," Scott mumbled.

What really happened after Season 3:

So, Isaac does go to France with Argent. But, when Argent leaves to go back to Beacon Hills, Isaac realizes that he doesn’t really know what he’s doing. He can’t face going back to Beacon Hills, because of the too many fresh and painful wounds. So, he thinks. And before you know it, he’s in South America to meet up with Cora, the only other person who left Beacon Hills. And, obviously, they end up together.
