I say “this is my favourite song“ after every single song being played at a concert and then get disappointed when they don’t know my actual favourite song…
The Captain sat in the abandoned galley, nursing a drink and staring out the port window at the stars slowly gliding past.
The mission had gone awfully, three dead and multiple injured currently laying in the infirmary while all the captain had to show were a few scrapes and bruises. It could have been avoided if he had just-
"Mind if I join you?" The engineer said, appearing from apparently nowhere. The captain startled and turned to face them. The engineers recoiled slightly, and the Captain caught his reflection in the metal table. He looked dreadful.
"Sure." He smiled, trying to put on a façade.
"You don't have to do that." The engineer sat opposite. "Your hands have been shaking since you got back."
The captain looked down, noticing the small flecks of liquid that had been shaken from the tumbler in his trembling hands.
"If I didn't stall-"
"Then the outcome wouldn't have been any different. The crew know the risks."
Scrolling through pinterest and I just realised that my biblically accurate percy jackson actually looks like robert keating (bobby skeetz) from the band inhaler. I feel like he's pretty close to how I imagined percy looked (maybe less pale lol), and he just has a glint in his eyes, a hint of mischief and mystery that logan lerman just doesn't imo (that walker sure does have, which is why his casting makes sense regardless of the mismatch with book feature descriptions)
Jack has rescued MacGyver after a six month absence, he returns him home, his father insists his son is dead and that the man in front of him is not Angus.
Oversight orders 'tests' to be done.
Mac agrees to his father's demands to protect Dalton and the others from being punished
Basically James is earning his asshole badge of AO3, happy whumping!
Okay now I just wanna grab some friends and go on a trip through Ireland while blasting cuts and bruises the entire time, is that too much to ask for?!
Unfortunately, less memorable than their first album, It Won't Always Be Like This, but had a distinctly spring/summer/sun vibe that I appreciated while heading into the warmer weather.
I hate to compare artists to previous albums they have released, but I think seeing as how their first body of work had so many highlights, this album seemed to fall flatt-er. I still wholeheartedly liked some of the songs on this record, but tracks like When I Have Her On My Mind and Just to Keep You Satisfied cannot compare to my absolute favourite Inhaler song ever A Night On Your Floor, from their first album.
My favourites:
If You're Gonna Break My Heart
When I Have Her On My Mind
Valentine
You should listen to this album if you like:

Sitting in a park with your friends on a Friday night
