Dainslief was a mysterius guy, he rarely spoke of himself, but the world... Oh he knew so much. He was a perfect guide at the beginning of Lumine's adventure.

She missed having her brother by her side at all times, so having company was a good distraction. Plus, Dainslief talked as if he's been in Teyvat for quite some time. She was mesmerized.

Dainslief would show her places that made her heart flutter in a childish way. He was the only one to witness Lumine's first smile after meeting the Unknown God and losing Aether.

Traveling together was fun! He stayed at the camp, asking her to be careful and avoid getting hit by monsters. Lumine, on the other side, would try to learn as much as possible, as this world she was stuck in, was becoming quite beautiful with each passing day by Dainslief's side.

Dainslief used to hug her as she fell asleep, since the very first week of traveling together, because he knew she was missing someone who was too far to be reached.

He brought Lumine to Kaerni'ah, where she fell in love with those flowers. Dainslief witnessed her dress white flutter in the wind as she picked two and put them in her hair.

He would get behind her, and hold her close, as she breathed the night air in the other parts of Teyvat. A storm was brooding somewhere far, but for them, it was nothing. Lumine had turned around and kissed him gently, during one of those evenings.

Dainslief taught her their language, little by little, she was getting efficient - he was proud, and claimed he would protect her at all cost, from anything that dared to harm her.

Lumine simply smiled, her hands running by his chest and arms. He breathed in hard. Her kisses became more frantic and he started to lose his breath, as she took off her dress and threw it on the ground. She was bare, innocent only at first - when he kissed her neck, he felt a heat rise in his loins and then he knew. Forgetting all the duty, and all the promises - he just wanted her to stay with him forever.

Soon he would curse the wish for immortality. But then, he didn't know any better. Lumine looked at him with such loving eyes, her lips parted, as she drowned in carnal pleasures.

Their journeys would be filled with support and discoveries at every corner, like the magnificent world of the Aranara and the forests - as she learned more and more. But soon enough she knew too much.

Lethargic, Lumine was losing her spark, she grew tired, and Dainslief denied it at first. He cooked her favorite meals, kissed her forehead, cleaned her wounds, all to make the pains go away - but it never worked, as Lumine's mind was closing little by little.

They witnessed the destruction of Kaerni'ah together. And that was the final straw.

Dainslief disagreed with her. He did what he could to save his nation - and yet, he failed. He hated that they had to fight. Both despised Celestia, but Lumine was turning to the Abyss, the place he could not follow, the place he could not stand.

But Lumine had lost her mind and right then, she kissed him one last time, betrayal and rage filling her mind. Dainslief saw their younger selves in her eyes and knew their travels would end there. He regretted not being strong enough for her, and regretted not going after her as the Abyss took her.

One of your very first followers. though the land of Khaenri'ah need not praise any God for they are the ones who nourished the land without such divine, however to her you were different

The Creator, you were the one who placed Lumine in Teyvat to lead Khaenri'ah, she was supposed to stay forever in this world

No, She wasn't mad that you never had shown your divine presence during the Cataclysm, in fact she thinks it was all supposed to happen eventually!now.. she has a reason to take down Celestia and bring you to their side

Til then, her faith in you will not waver, even in her most darkest moments in the abyss she will be awaiting for your presence to shine bright as the false sun of Enkanomiya

Albedo

He was the one tasked to create you a separate vessel(on when you ever decide to roam Teyvat with all by your lonesome)

Though at first, he never did grasp the reason why beings on the lands all over the globe of Teyvat seemed to worship you endlessly

Rhinedottir-his master always would continuously teach him what you were to Teyvat.But she would always end up gushing and forgetting what she was supposed to be teaching him

Questions will be left unanswered and as expected, would make Albedo more curious.He would ask everyone again and again til he would get the perfect answer

Yet no perfect answer was heard, he'd sigh and instead stay here with his master leaving the questions behind his mind for a while as he found himself with some sort of a fondness by the slight feeling of your presence peering over the clouds

He found art that was supposed to depict on what your appearance would be like, he found them amusing tho he himself also can't help but imagine how divinely you would look and feel.Even so, those statues, paintings, and stories don't do you any justice compared to what you have given to the world of Teyvat

With that he needed to show his devotion by making this now sacred vessel, perfect

more so than him--no than any Celestial being the Archons might have made

He shouldn't compare such things below you,and when the time comes

Albedo prays quietly that a deity such as yourself would grace this vessel that he made by possessing it as your own

Kaeya

He heard of you through his time spent in Khaenri'ah, and now in his time he was in Mondstadt

He believes in you, but is more than a tad bit sour that you never appeared and stopped the fall of his former homeland--his faith in you stopped for a while, but he remembered something!He would have never met Diluc and the others if it never happened

Kaeya was now at least less spiteful towards you after the thoughts of the positive things that happened to him after all it was meant to happen and to add to that!

you were literally the only subject that he could discuss with Diluc without either of them starting some sort of fight so with that, he should feel thankful to be at last being able to talk with his adoptive brother in the first time in years

when he felt a familiar divinely presence inside the traveler he felt envious that he wasn't your first choice of a vessel

But the feeling of jealousy soon dispersed when you finally used him to fight everything that you desired to kill

Now however you were having a walk with him, no bloodshed you just lead him to a peaceful morning over the cliff overlooking Mondstadt at its whole

He would have laughed,assuming you always have killing the first thing that comes into your mind every time you decide to use any of your acolytes early in the morning

But he was proved wrong, for this morning.. you were simply walking with him, not a single drop of blood was shed by in his hands, for you just lead him to a peaceful morning breeze on top of a cliff, overlooking Mondstadt at its whole

The city of freedom never looked this beautiful before, and now he selfishly wishes that instead of you being inside him--He wanted you and him,witnessing the region's sight hand-in-hand

Wouldn't it be a more beautiful experience if you were actually present in his side

Aether

When Aether first entered into Teyvat.He wasn't aware there would be a being that was far more greater than Celestia themselves, til his body had been moving by its own

He thought he was going crazy, but Paimon also seemed to have felt your presence since she also talks to you as if you were a separate entity when inside his or another person's body.So he calmed down happy to know he wasn't going insane.

It was uncomfortable at first, but soon found it reassuring after knowing that you were leading him towards his sister to whom he'd lost

the times where you left his body made him a a bit relaxed for a while, but missed you once it took too long for you to come back

After finding out you had a body specifically made for you from Albedo , he felt a bit sad

but at the same time happy that he'd get to finally experience things with you as another being that could finally respond  to his short stupid ramblings and comfort him with the warmth of your own arms

Dainsleif

The man who always kept to himself not bothering with anyone unless it's to track information about the infamous abyss order

But he was also the man who protected your perfect vessel safe from the cruel beings out there(he won't admit it, but he holds so much pride on the job given to him)

Even though he held some sort of past grudge towards you, he soon found out that it would solve nothing

So instead to just making you an exception, he silently fell in love with the thought of you showing him first hand what divinities you held

And once his mission is done, he would also like it to be able to finally achieve peace and enjoy the rest of his life with you

But.. he doesn't deserve to be even near your presence Dainslief would say to himself shaking his head of the any of the remaining selfish daydreams

But he can't help but wonder, you know?Not when he finally feels your presence for the first time in forever through the traveler

He was reluctant at first to give your physical body to the traveler, but he did as told when he thought of the things he could do with you

With the thoughts plaguing his mind he instantly gave it, Dainslief's eyes could be seen flashing at you with happiness once he could see the slight twitch of your fingers before waking up

Like the first time a singular perfect Inteyvat bloomed, you finally woke up

"'New quest!' Enter the creator's physical body as Dainslief instructed you to!"

You didn't really hadn't thought of anything when looking at the sudden popup ,you shrug thinking it was just an extra part of the Archon quest.

After pressing the 'interact' button you felt as if  your world was suddenly spinning,

you collapse towards the floor as your phone dropping could be the last thing you heard afterwards

You awake feeling nauseated before your eyes widen open at the sight of the characters of a game you were playing just a moment ago the ivory haired male gave you his hands for you to grab on, his turquoise eyes softening at the hesitation in your own orbs that reflected his

You didn't know if it was shock or fear that immobilised your body, but all you knew at this very moment is that..

"At last.. you have finally arrived oh who is most divine!" almost instantly Dainslief loudly praised at you, while securely grabbing you by your forearm

You weren't in the comfort of your home anymore

Even from the cold winter mornings of Snezhnaya,news of the ' o!almighty Creator descending our world'started to spread all over Teyvat like wildfire

Pierro couldn't feel more than delighted to hear the news of your arrival with your own vessel

he knew very well he didn't make your physical body--it was still a product from his fallen homeland

So with pride he held on to his Khaenri'ahan heritage, the only thing he could silently show off to the youngest of the harbingers

Though the Cataclysm gave him a bit of a strain in his faith in you, he came to a conclusion that sacrifices were made and you were here now in the present roaming around the world of Teyvat

Now he just has to await his turn on being a candidate to be your acolyte and when that happens he wouldn't mind killing off anyone that came in front of your way or (if ever) sacrifice himself for your own divinely goals

Dainslief has wandered alone for the longest time. He cold-shoulders everyone and everything unless it appeals to him and his goals. If he sees no pertinent reason to partake in something, he doesn't.

However, ever since he met you at the Angel's Share that fateful day, you have become a recurring topic on his mind-- your origins, your mysteries, and your goals. He'd ponder upon them for hours when his mind could think of nothing more.

The more he saw of you and the more he had been around you, he started to see you in a different light. A bright light, one that his people normally would've looked down upon. Aside from the obvious, being that you're obviously quite literally otherworldly, you shone with the power to maybe even overthrow gods and deities of all kinds.

This "pure admiration of skill" masked what truly lied within. He saw you in all your grace, your beauty, your glory. He wanted to stay by your side and traverse the paths of this world as both a means to an end and a way to pass time with the only person he has felt for in ages.

He loved you dearly. Wonder why you end up running into him so often? He finds you curious. He wants to know more about you and keep in contact with you in whatever way he can. He vowed to himself that he would be there when you needed him like the valiant knight he was once. He would take up that role a million times more for you.

He found himself becoming distracted by this bittersweet, one-sided romance of his. He had finally realized what this admiration was and by that time, he had almost been led astray. This isn't in his best interest, to let you distract him like this. He needs you, you are inevitably a part of his story, but at what cost?

He had brushed off these feelings as he continued his journey, his search for answers, hoping to the merciless gods of Teyvat that, if not in this life, maybe another can be spent together in the way he yearns for. The one time he begs to these powers, knowing very well that they care not for him or his wishes.

For the accursed? It's a miniscule possibility, at best.

And you? You would never know, and it'd be best he made peace with that.

Note: My psychology major student ass is on break so I will be making chaos. Warnings: Sagau content, violence (not graphic), trauma, angst, Aether and Lumine just wanted to be reunited, Kaeya story spoilers Characters: Kaeya Alberich, Dainsleif, Aether and Lumine Masterlist

SAGAU time! Let’s start with the usual waking up inside the game fiasco. It all started with meteor showers that lit up the Teyvat skies that lit even the foggy Seirai Islands. You wake up, you are in an alien land and the next thing you know is that you’re being chased by people who are calling you a heretic. From nation to nation, the characters you love chase you. Hell, you have a large bounty on your head as well.

And then by turn of events while saving a lone adventurer, Amber took this as an opportunity to shoot you with her arrow. Lo and Behold, instead of crimson you bled gold. And now here you are standing next to the characters you loved. For the first time nations have come together, sitting next to each other like tensions from years ago never existed. Everyone is welcome, everyone is given a chance.

The longing in your heart has quelled and you can never ask for anything else. But you know how things go. Just like how the sun and moon go together, love and hate are also relative. There can never be light without darkness to make it shine and there can never love without hate making it precious. After thousands of years being absent in the picture, have you ever just wondered who amongst the one you loved secretly harbored an atom of hate to you?

Kaeya Alberich

Flirty and Charismatic. Sly and secretive. Let’s go back shall we? Let’s face it, if Khaen’riah didn’t fall into the hands of the archons 500 years ago, Kaeya wouldn't be in his position as the Cavalry captain right now. It’s not that it’s bad, it's just that his position as the captain and his previous bond as a spy made him constantly question himself.

Behind closed doors once he took the title of ‘captain’, on his bed at night it’s a constant war that never seemed to end. Behind closed doors he doesn’t have to pretend that Diluc’s words and glares never hurt. Behind closed doors he never has to pretend that a part of him didn’t get destroyed when all things got revealed.

This hate is not the ‘I hate you’ type of hate but it’s more on ‘Why you didn’t save me?’ type of thing. He was just a kid! He should be dreaming of something instead of being abandoned by his father and becoming a spy. Your presence wasn’t there when Khaen’riah fell, that’s why everything went to hell.

Invite this gentleman for tea sometimes. Wearing a facade too much changes you a lot and honestly it can be damaging.

Dainsleif

Surprise, surprise. Although Dainsleif claims that his memories have all but faded, he remembered the destruction too well. He remembered the screams of innocent people, the fire that engulfed his nation and the curse of immortality inlaid upon him to make him remember that he failed to do the thing that he was instructed to do. While the other nations progressed and prosper, his nation was buried in remains of the innocent citizens. The name of the nation is only uttered by those deities who are guilty of destruction.

Immortality changed him a lot and yes that included his functions. Sleep doesn’t come like they used to. Hunger sometimes doesn’t happen at all. He could be walking, fighting mobs for weeks but he’s numb enough that whatever hard hit comes doesn’t phase him anymore. Sometimes we find himself walking while the cities are asleep thinking to himself, ‘does worshipping an Archon make you love people more? Is that the reason why you let Khaen’riah die?’

At one point he just wanted to have fate in control. No more gods that will try to harm whatever or whoever’s left. Anything just to protect the last of the last even if it means death. When he heard about your arrival, he was intrigued and the idea of you made him mad. ‘Why do you have to come now? Why not when we need you?’

He will show up at your doorsteps and unlike Kaeya, he wants answers.

Aether/Lumine…or worst, both

Depending on who you chose as a vessel, one or both might end up hating you. One twin was forced to wander the abyss, witnessing how it is out of control. The other twin is forced to wander lands, becoming a dog to everyone and eventually gets pulled away from what their mission was supposed to be.

Honestly, they just wanted to be reunited. They just wanted to be together but suddenly an unknown god pushed them into this world. Even worse, you, the divine creator, was missing hence making their journey longer than it was supposed to be. All of your work, all the responsibilities that you are supposed to handle is what they carry on their shoulders.

Honestly, it won’t take too long until that twin in the land for snap and for that twin in the abyss to do what they think is necessary. The next time you see one of the twins, it doesn’t matter if it’s the one in the land or one in the abyss, hug them.

his head rests in your lap, eyes closed as he indulges in the comfort of your presence. the day has yet to begin and soon enough, time will pass all too quickly and he will be buried in an infinite amount of tasks, and how terrible the thought is: to be apart from the person he loves so dearly.

inhale. exhale. how kind solace is to find its way in brevity, and how wonderful it is, the love that bloomed when you believed there was none to be found. the origins of your marriage were solely for convenience; you remember the hatred that burned in your veins when you learned of it. you think about it often, back then and now-- how gentle and patient ayato was. always kind, always waiting. always wanting to make it work, always wishing to fall in love with the person he knew he would spend the rest of his life with.

he hums in quiet thought, an all too knowing smile gracing the curve of his lips at your question. ayato's heart knows no bounds, cherishing each and every moment spent with you as if it could be the last. of course he remembers. he always will, whether near or far, even when you are both old and gray.

a petal lands gently on his cheek, forces his eyes open. your gazes meet when you look down at him, visage made of love and utmost gentleness. ayato almost thinks he falls for you all over again when your fingertips brush against his skin, picking the cherry blossoms away.

"of course. today marks our fifth year of marriage." his smile grows. "thoma remembered for me, naturally."

"he did not, you liar." ayato's laughter rings out in the garden you deem your home away from home. "i'm going to shove that flower in your mouth."

you sigh in exasperation, but the way your fingers run through blue locks is filled with tenderness. ayato's expression softens, and the amusement fades into ardor. he is fortunate, truly, to have found you, to learn about you, and to love you, and not one day goes by where he doesn't show you how significant you are.

"happy anniversary." he tells you; he reaches up, fingers cupping your cheek, and the words grace themselves with reverence. "i hope to spend a lifetime more with you."

you grin, lean down to press your lips against his in promise.

in days gone by there is a paradise lost ; a foggy mist that fails to clear in the depths of a mind. eternal slumber clings to a destined one, carves itself into her being, consumes memories unfound & wanted. desperation gnaws at her soul, sinks its teeth into the heart of it and tears and tears and tears until it is almost empty with an unbelonging.

in lumine's nightmares, there is catastrophe and loss. she knows them to be real, knows the hurt that weaves itself into horridness is something she has felt before. but everything eventually turns into nothing, and the memories remain fragmented : jagged with sharp edges, difficult to restore.

in her dreams, there is you. there has always been you, she realizes : you are her comfort, her love, and it is a beautiful thing to know there is such adoration & hope that exists in a world she should not be in.

"what did you dream of tonight?"

your voice pierces the night air ; lumine reaches for you instinctively in haste of your wake, fingers delicately tracing circles into your skin. there's reluctance in your tone, and she smiles faintly at your consideration. you know of the dreamscapes she encounters -- whether heaven or hell, neither of you know which she will seek in slumber until the sun rises or until her terror is heard in the midst of the darkness.

"you." she answers like it's second nature, her tone light and playful as she pokes your forehead before pressing a kiss against it. "i dreamt of you. i miss you even when i'm asleep."

your eyes meet golden hues: brilliant and radiant like the sun, but even then, the light fades slightly, slowly, and you know it. you know it.

( and she does this, you know. lies and acts like her suffering doesn't exist. in her dreams, she sees aether. she runs and runs until her lungs burn, until she can taste blood on her tongue, until she can almost reach him, and she's so close -- until she's not, and then he's gone, forgotten. )

"you should dream of something else." you grin when she kisses your nose. "i'm always going to be here when you wake."

she smiles again, but this time, there's a defeat that lingers on the curves of her lips.

oh, and how she wishes she could say the same, tell you that she'll stay by your side until the days are long over. but she doesn't belong, not here. but right now, she'll stay at your side. right now, she'll take all her love and give it to you wholeheartedly and hope you will carry it. she'll stay at your side, she tells you, her lips against yours, and silently hope that it will be long before it's time to move on.

in fate there is a madness in the knowing ; the prophet's mind is riddled with events of the past, present, and future, and such memories of a lifetime blur into a haze of distorted pictures. heavy is such a burden on the body and soul, and too often is it that dainsleif's mind wanders too far, unable to seek reprieve.

few are the people that dainsleif keeps in his life, but many are those he cherishes and misses dearly. it is a painful thing, experiencing loss time after time and knowing that there is nothing that can be done about it. knowing that time is the passage of all, the end of all, and that it flows no matter what happens. the pain does not stop, does not fade, and sometimes he wishes it did. but it doesn't and it shouldn't, not ever, because it will always be worth it.

but he tires of it. he despises it. fate has always been a cruel being, and he succumbs to it too easily, admits defeat too easily.

he wants things to be different with you. the pain will be greater if he loses you too, he thinks, and that frightens him : to love someone to such a degree and know that eventually, it will all turn into a memory / to know and acknowledge that there will be no forever in sight for you both.

"you know something i don't." you whisper, your body against his as he holds you in his arms.

you wonder if the words fall upon deaf ears; part of you hopes it does. because you know there is something more to dainsleif-- something you can't comprehend, something you shouldn't comprehend, but you love him all the same, even if you know that this road may lead to something other than a happy ending.

his hold on you tightens and he buries his face in the crook of your neck. you imagine his expression would be unreadable, protected in its delicate facade, but instead, when he pulls away, there is a lingering dread that lies beneath the surface. his hand reaches for yours, his lips grazing against your knuckles.

perhaps he can change this, take fate and twist it into a different being. he knows he shouldn't have fallen in love. he shouldn't have, but he did, he did, and even when he tried to distance himself, he couldn't. he will suffer at his own hands -- but you should not suffer because of him.

lumine: i'm trying to see if i can tame boss monsters! i tamed an abyss mage before but i haven't tried boss monsters yet

dainsleif: you have the tamer skill? (is an abyss mage even a tamable monster? the tamer skill isn't helpful for most classes so people don't usually have that skill...)

lumine: yup, also cooking, swimming, sewing and other skills that i find interesting

dainsleif: they're all practical skills but you're a mage class. those skills wouldn't help the build you're going for

“Lumine what’s wrong?” you ask seeing her on the brink of tears

“My- my brother…” she starts with a clench of her hands, she shakes her head wanting to be done with the thoughts of her brother “Can we- can we just get some dinner or something?” she asks looking to you, you nod with a soft smile.

“Of course we can” you tell her in a soft tone, you extend your hand for her to take and she happily takes it. You lead her through town towards Wamin Restaurant “We can sit in a quiet space in the back, how does that sound?” you ask, Lumine nods

“Sounds good” she replies, you lead her to the back of the restaurant, you both sit in the quietest booth and order some food

“Do you want to talk about it?” you ask her, she shakes her head

“Not yet-“ she goes to say something else but stops herself, you nod in understanding

“That’s okay” you reassure her

Dinner is quiet, but that’s okay. You keep bringing up different conversations, but Lumine isn’t much in the mood for talking. She mentions having a craving for some Wolfhook juice so you end up going to the kitchen with a handful of Woolfhooks begging someone to turn them into juice. After you mention it’s for the traveller that saved Liyue they’re more than happy to make the drink.

After dinner you offer just going on a walk, surely that could take her mind of things a little more. And you think it does, just a little bit. Lumine seems a little happier to talk about the hilichurl camps and the treasures she found clearing them out, she mentions that she’s started helping one of the adepti with the demonic kinds of hilichurls to keep Liyue safer. You smile at her and thank her for keeping your home safe.

By the time you get back to Liyue it’s dark, close to the time to sleep but Lumine doesn’t quite look ready for sleep. So you bring up the idea of listening to a story teller, you mention that you heard that the story this week is one of the Rex Lapis ones. So, the both of you find yourselves at the teahouse, herbal teas in both your hands and the sweet melodies of a story is almost enough to send the two of you to sleep. So home is where you’re bound next.

“The spare bed is all set up if you want to sleep at mine” you offer looking to Lumine, she nods

“I would like that please” she replies, you smile and bump your hip with hers

“I’ll be right next door if you need me for anything, okay?” you ask opening the spare bedroom door before gesturing to your own. She nods again.

“Sleep well Lumine” you tell her before going to your own bed.

Not two hours later you hear soft knocking on your bedroom door, you go to investigate to see a half asleep Lumine stood before you.

“Is everything alright?” you ask, she shakes her head. “Do you want to come in and maybe talk about it?” you ask stepping to the side, she nods and comes into your room and sits at the end of your bed

“My brother” she speaks up “I think- I think that he’s the leader of the abyss order” she tells you her eyes welling up with tears. You sit beside her with a concerned frown.

“I remember when I saw you last you were looking for abyss heralds, did you find out around then?” you ask, she nods and sighs

“I was helping this guy called Dainslief find the abyss herald he’s been tracking for some time,” she pauses to make sure you are caught up “And just as we were winning against the abyss herald out comes Aether” she adds clenching her fists a little to stop herself from crying “The way he was talking… it was Aether but never in a way I’ve seen him” she continues looking to you “I know that that was my brother… but also he felt so different” you hum at her

“I’m sorry you have to go through this” you apologise placing your hand atop hers “Maybe you’ll find some more answers in Inazuma” you add with a smile. Lumine nods.

“I think Beidou will be a good lead” she tells you with a smile, you nod

“Aye, she’s probably one of the only captains with enough skill to navigate the storms encasing Inazuma” you speculate and look to Lumine “Though if you ever need a friend and a place to crash at just know my door is always open for you”

“Of course” Lumine smiles softly

“Now come here and give me a hug”
