I was just on the welcome home site and I need to get this out
So just like with Coraline and DHMIS, symbolism is a HUGE deal when it comes to WH. For example; Wally's little pose ⬇️
Tumblr media
means "As Above, So Below" which has been paraphrased from its original English translation; "That which is above is like to that which is below, and which is below is like to that which is above." (It's a quote from the Emerald Tablet in case anyone is interested) You might recognise the quote from the movie of the same name, or the pose from Jack's picture at the end of The Shining.
Basically, it means that the two planes of existence present within the WH ARG correspond with each other.
Other common symbolisms include:
Apples - beauty, sweetness and the hope for prosperity, strength, growth, death, immortality, temptation, knowledge, rebirth.
"In Celtic tradition, apples were buried at Samhain as food for those souls who are waiting to be reborn." - Some dodgy website so take it with a grain of salt.
Not to mention how apples were also associated with the Underworld in Greek mythology.
Butterflies - Transformation, growth, renewal, rebirth, bravery, hope, positive change, freedom. ("Black butterflies are associated with sickness in many Native American cultures")
"Celtic mythology regards butterflies as a symbol of the soul. There's an old Irish saying that goes "Butterflies are souls of the dead waiting to pass through Purgatory." They're thought to be able to cross into other realms and also represent transformation, creation, and rebirth." - The exact same website.
Feathers - I'm getting lazy
Spirals - Spiritual development and our identity with the universe. Came from the idea of a "stairway" to heaven. In the occult system and esoterica, the single spiral is representative of the way to the higher level of consciousness. It represents the pattern of growth and the utilizer of nature’s life-inducing, life-protecting, and life-supporting energy. (aka my favourite symbol ever)
Hearts - The heart icon becomes a major symbol for medieval heraldry, where it is used to signify sincerity and clarity. In art and chivalric literature, the heart is increasingly seen as synonymous to the Holy Grail. In fact, early decks of playing cards even use the Grail instead of the heart symbol as an icon. The heart symbol is assiociated with religious and spiritual symbolism as well as the profane and sexual, or even with evil.
Have you ever heard the phrase "Home is where the heart is"?
Stars - Positivity, happiness, renewal, and in the context of certain industries they symbolize excellence, professionalism, quality, and imagination.
Eyes - Good or evil. Focus, truth, clarity, light, vision, prophecy, awareness, observation. The spiritual eyes is a reflection of the cosmic energy entering the body and sustaining it.
Circles - Totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement, god.
That's the gist of it
Also I made this list a while ago and I really don't feel like going in and altering everything
so I'm not going to. Sorry.

No but what if they DID come for her. what if the cult tried to track down Pink and bring her back (I mean if she managed to track down Yellow all by herself then who's to say none of the others could?)
Because at first this idea was terrifying to me but the more I thought about it the more certain I became that if Shrignold ever did show his face at the house and say something like "alright well if this ungrateful yellow child doesn't want his Special One then we'll be taking her back, we can easily find someone else for her to marry"
then the reaction would be a four-point cry of "Ah so YOU'RE THE BITCH THAT TRAUMATISED OUR DAUGHTER/SISTER"
Several minutes later Pink is woken by a strange noise from downstairs, gets up and goes down to see Yellow and Green trying to act casual and block her view of something behind them, being all "don't worry, everything's totally normal, you can go back to sleep now"
and behind them are Duck and Red, very conspicuously trying to drag a large blood-stained bag full of butterfly bits into the backyard
Alright, we're back to the askbox!
I haven't been able to fully formulate any ideas about the cult coming back for Pink because she's such a fresh presence in my mind/on my blog that I don't have a lot of concrete ideas blocked out yet.
This would be the best-case scenario for her I think, if Shrignold ever came back for her. Her sleeping through the whole thing would be the kindest way for it to play out, and it may be self-indulgent, but I want the rest of her life to be filled with ease and kindness, so I find myself fully agreeing with you.
It would also be a GREAT opportunity to see what Red can really do with those fucking chompers when he's angry for real and protecting his family. I think Shrignold would be on the business end of the pent-up rage and grief and revenge that Red's been stewing on for the entirety he's been trapped in the DHMIS narrative. I think the boys would want to help, and Duck would very seriously tell them "Upstairs. Now." In a way they'd never heard him before, past anger, not shrieking and shouting, so scarily calm and unlike him they just immediately obey and haul ass up to Pink's room. And when they all hear the door close Duck's like "Alright, you can go now." and Shrignold would laugh and be like "I'm not going anywhere, actually" to which Duck just pats Red's hip as the tallest one shakes and heaves and growls and trembles with barely-concealed rage rippling under his skin and says "I was talking to him, actually."
Pink sleeps through the screams, and Green and Yellow bury their heads under her pillows and blankets so its muffled enough not to be too traumatizing, and anyway Yellow is really used to dismemberment happening around him (lily and todney anyone?) so they just talk quietly while it happens, eventually waking Pink, and they all tromp downstairs together with Green and Yellow attempting to act casually, and are great by the sight of Duck shoving black bin bags out the front door and Red's got his head under the sink faucet washing.....something out of his yarn and Pinks like "wtf did I miss?"
Red and Duck both immediately say "Income Taxes" at the same time and she loses interest immediately and starts making a bowl of cereal. Green watches Red pick bits of wing from between his teeth, a powdery shimmering blue sheen staining his mitts. Yellow just moves the cereal box so Pink's line of sight is obscured. They watch a morning show about rugby highlights from last nights game, and Pink wonders if they could play rugby in the yard later, and asks Duck when he comes back inside if they can. He says yes.

my narrator(s)
ok, so, my narrator is a bit of a shapeshifter, he has many forms though the original "form" is him as a voice it's kind of like the sander sides where they are all him but are their own person too basically they have some traits that are emphasized
there's the more caring one (almost like a father)
the workaholic
the meaner one
and the one who's a bit like a child
(this is how i think of him please don't try to fight me)
and then there's the lovebug
now, i have drawn them but i can't really show you them because they're on paper so i'll describe them (and if you want to name them i think i'll try to do a poll if we get a lot of different names and people) so, for now i'll be calling them
father nar
work nar
rude nar
kid nar
and lovebug until they have real names
so, father nar has a bit of a drawing i've done on tumblr but i've changed it a bit (you can find the post by clicking on my profile)
but anyways, he's got wings that have the adventure line as the... i don't know the name of it so, the actual wing part and then it has normal feathers he wears a sweater vest over a button up and shorts he also has medium length hair with one blond strand in the front, a bowtie and rectangle glasses
(so basically the same just not all spacey and doesn't have the demon wings and all of them have the adventure line in their design as well as yellow glasses that are rectangles and their eyes look kind of robotic with no white part that's all black and yellow eyes that have a light glow)
and for work nar he has a blazer over a turtle neck on the turtleneck there's the adventure line wrapping around it and he has dress pants and shoes and his hair is mostly to one side and goes right about to his chin in length (also basically the same just now has the adventure line)
now the ones that don't have a drawing online of
rude nar has shaved sides and his hair in a bun he has pointed ears horns and demon wings he wears a button up with a tie and long dress pants that partly cover his feet and his tail is the adventure line
kid nar isn't really a kid of course they just act like a kid sometimes he is more of the narrator's "bad traits" more like how he's lonely and he has insecurities and how he has abandonment issues so he's clingy and the part that really makes him like a child is how he doesn't know things and is oblivious but for appearance he's very simple, he looks like one of dream's blobs but he changes his face showing emotion and has arrow glasses that show his mood like when he's upset the arrows point down and when he's confused one goes up and the other goes down funny that out of all of them so far the one that's very simple took the most
for the lovebug they are like @blackkatdraws narrator is kind of how i picture them though i drew them like a taller version of work nar they have longer hair that goes to their shoulders heart glasses butterfly wings with hearts and the adventure line as a rim (i feel they're like shignold from don't hug me i'm scared (dhmis) i feel that just really fits the lovebug's whole thing) they have antenna that are the adventure line and they have two extra arms coming from their torso they are wearing a sleave-less crop top turtleneck with a heart on it leggings and knee high boots and they have bracelets on each wrist and pink eyes instead of the yellow ones
also the narrator for his original "form" can make hands and eyes the hands just float and he usually puts an eye on the hand he can make eyes anywhere but knows that them just floating or on the walls is creepy so he sticks to them being on his hand and on the hand is a ring on his pointer that's the adventure line

Explanations for the "Sides As DHMIS Episodes" Post I Made Over A Year Ago
Okay, I was never really planning on explaining this post but today @roman-eats-glitter stumbled upon the post and gave their own version of it. This prompted me to rewatch DHMIS, expecting my opinion to change. Surprisingly, it didn't. So here are my explanations for why I assigned the episodes I did to each side.
P.S: My explanations are a bit all over the place since I wrote them rather quickly and at the end of the day, it is just my opinion. Also, this post has a lot of talk of stuff like gore, food, death, etc. since DHMIS isn't exactly the most kid-friendly series so please don't read this if you are sensitive to that sort of stuff. If I need to tag anything please tell me.
Ep. 1 Creativity- Patton:
Short explanation: Patton reminds me so much of the notepad.
Long explanation: The whole “orange with a silly face” is something Patton would definitely say. When the red guy says that using his hair to express himself is boring and the notepad just repeats what he says, that reminds me of the whole selfishness vs selflessness video where Patton keeps the same argument no matter what Janus says. He is exactly the type to go cloud watching. Also, the whole clown and green is not a creative color, reminds me of how Patton thought in a very white and black mentality. He thought that certain things were good and bad even though many morals and ideals are conditional and/or subjective. (Also “green is not a creative color” reminds me of how Patton doesn’t like Remus). Arranging sticks sounds like an activity Patton would tell you to do. The line, “Listen to your heart.” This video is one of the more tame ones in the series. It’s also one of the ones that escalates very quickly which reminds me of how Patton snapped and turned into the giant frog so suddenly. Also, I feel like covering a heart with glitter is something that Patton would do if he did gore. It ends very suddenly and with, “yeah let’s never do that again,” Patton is definitely the type to try and swipe a situation under the rug or quickly move on from it.
Ep.2 Time- Janus:
Short explanation: The clock reminds me of Janus.
Long explanation: The clock sounds so condescending and passive-aggressive, which reminds me of Janus. The clock guy had a top hat and a cane, that’s Janus. “An old man died.” “But look a computer.” That reminds me of the philosophical ideology that someone is always suffering yet life goes on. This reminds me of Janus because of his views on society. The clock tries to manipulate them with the advancements of technology by putting them right smack in front of a huge computer much like Janus tried to convince the other sides in Selfishness vs Selflessness by putting them in the courtroom. When the clock avoids the questions the characters ask and then just screams, it reminds me of when Janus told everyone to forget about the bad things Max Stirner has done. When the characters age rapidly at the end the clock says, “It’s out of my hands, I’m only a clock. Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll be fine but eventually, everyone runs out of time.” Even though Janus is deceit, he seems like the type to hit you with the cold slap of reality.
Ep. 3 Love- Roman:
Short explanation: The yellow puppet reminds me of Roman.
Long explanation: At first, I didn’t really know what side to put for this episode, but after rewatching it multiple times, it reminded me of Roman for many reasons. For one, Roman is definitely the type to run away when upset. I strongly believe in himbo Roman so part of me says he would absolutely call a butterfly a little baby pigeon. Also, the butterfly’s first statement is “it doesn’t have to be, I hate you and you hate me.” I feel like out of all the sides, Roman needs/needed to learn this lesson the most. After all, Roman has been shown to actively hate the “Darksides” without really giving them the benefit of the doubt first. Also, I feel like the phrase “Life’s unfair cause everyone hates you and no one care,” is something Roman would think to himself. I feel like Roman sometimes loves things too much just like the yellow guy does when he says “I love this tree and I love this stick.” Plus the whole idea that everyone has a special one sounds like a fantasy the romantic side would have. The whole cult part just reminds me of how dedicated Roman was to staying behind Patton’s ideology and not wanting to challenge it.
Ep. 4 Computers- Logan:
This one is pretty self-explanatory. The computer is smart, straight to the point, believes that research is one of the only things to do on a computer, and has anger issues. Sounds like Logan to me. But seriously the computer screaming reminds me of Logan screaming at Remus in the latest episode.
Ep.5 Healthy Eating- Remus:
Short explanation: The can and meat guy reminds me of Remus so much.
Long explanation: First, the unsettling tone of the video honestly reminds me of DWIT, and the whole part of the red guy being gone reminds me of how roman was practically out for the whole video. They are loud and cut off the duck a lot, something that Remus would do. The meat also pokes duck with a fork, something Remus would do to another side. The house that showed the human organs and stuff literally looks like something Remus would make. When the phone turns to a sandwich it reminds me of how Remus can make things appear and disappear. The meatball with the eye is a Remus thing. The food groups shown in the video are an abomination that only Remus could come up with. Also, you can’t tell me Remus wouldn’t have a human body anatomy model that has a movable mouth and eyes as well as makes noise. The whole can eating the duck’s organs is what really reminds me of Remus because of the gore. The yellow puppet being tortured and then eating the canned duck kinda reminds me of how Remus seems to be able to make the other sides and Thomas snap after being annoying enough. Also, this episode is arguably one of the most fucked up in this series which is why I think it’s perfect for Remus, who is arguably the most unhinged and unpredictable side.
Ep.6 Dreams- Virgil:
Short explanation: This whole episode just screams anxiety to me.
Long explanation: In the beginning, the yellow guy says goodnight to the red guy and duck even though they aren’t there anymore; this reminds me of Virgil’s attachment issues and uncomfortableness with change that he has been shown to have multiple times in the series. The yellow’s guys resistance to the lamp in this episode reminds me of Virgil’s resistance and hostility towards Janus and Remus. Now the dreams that the lamp says the yellow guy can have stuck out to me a lot. Both of the dreams are nightmares. The second dream shown is obviously a nightmare as drowning in oil isn’t exactly a good dream. The first dream is also a nightmare since if you do some research you can find an article by “It’s nice that” called “Don't Hug Me I'm Scared - an exclusive interview with Duck, Red Guy, and Yellow Guy”. In this interview, it is revealed that the yellow guy is allergic to horses. In the episode, the lamp says, “You can have a dream about riding a horse,” which if you are allergic to horses would arguably not be a pleasant dream. Nightmares are speculated to be caused by anxiety. The sudden shift to real life is also very unpredictable and sudden, much like anxiety can be. In the live-action part, we see the red guy trying to pursue his career in entertainment. He performs in front of his coworkers only to be booed by everyone, which literally sounds like the worst nightmare ever for someone with anxiety. When the red guy sees the machine that controls what character is in front of the yellow guy to me symbolizes his dreams of entertainment getting out of hand and hurting others. This part reminds me of how Virgil has hurt the other sides in the series unintentionally as well as him coming to terms that he couldn’t keep the other “Darksides” away from Thomas. The ending is the only part that I can’t really say reminds me of Virgil. The closest I could come is relating the ending of DHMIS to Virgil going from a “Darkside” to a “Lightside”

Story
After the events of 5, the other residents of Clayhill hear concerning sounds, smell blood and notice that no one has left the house in about a month (well, it was June 19th the entire time but it was a month's worth of June 19ths) - this leads to the police showing up at the trio's residence.
Doi answers the door, disheveled, confused, and seemingly very anxious and depressed. When asked about the suspicious things the other townspeople have noticed, he innocently (and awkwardly) tells the police everything. He gets the story across well enough, though, and his mention of seemingly crazed teachers drugging and force-feeding him Duck cause the police to stop and, with the unnamed head officer in disbelief and Deputy Johnson deeply concerned, they push past Doi (who really doesn't try to stop them, he's relieved to see someone with the power to help) and investigate the kitchen, suspecting this child has been under the influence of some drug coming in through the vents. What they find instead is, alarmingly, a blood-soaked kitchen scattered with empty cans, feathers, what looks like vomit, and most disturbingly, everything is strewn with what little is left of Duck. They immediately take Doi into custody for safekeeping, and take the blood-soaked microwave as evidence. Unbeknownst to them, this microwave is Jonathan, the husband of the sentient fridge. Fridge is distraught as soon as they take him, immediately donning a black handkerchief and veil and mourning his (visibly not dead) husband, before declaring that he's sending their adopted son, Christopher the Radio Clock, to live with Big Ian for safety. Unfortunately, Christopher is currently locked into sort of a dormant state and cannot take human form, no one feels that safe wandering too far from the residence and Big Ian doesn’t appear to be home, so Tony assists the fridge in mailing him away. Something goes very wrong. Christopher winds up at a particularly hectic, dazed post office right in the middle of Clayhill, and rather than being sent to the safety of Big Ian's house, he winds up being mistaken for a simple radio clock order and is shipped far away, to a small hospital in North America. He's mistreated here, often being thrown off of the lone surgeon's desk, having his buttons violently hit, being forced to exhaust himself by playing soft rock for days on end, getting screamed at for something as small as playing the wrong channel...and he's often left to witness horrific, and usually failed surgeries while ordered to stay in object form - this, with Christopher being so young, only around 11, renders him incapable of switching to his human form out of pure confusion and fear. Eventually, the surgeon becomes lenient with letting the young clock switch forms, likely because he's quit caring about Christopher entirely, and the boy is often seen wandering the children's waiting rooms in human form, reading the array of books there to comfort himself. He's frequently left with untreated wounds from the surgeon's abuse, and can most often be seen sitting on a colorful rug, covered in band-aids and poorly applied butterfly closures he's found for himself, attempting in spite of his dyslexia to enjoy the books at his disposal. One day, the surgeon loses his temper, as he frequently does, but Christopher is in human form and winds up badly injured due to a fall off the desk and an unfortunately landed scalpel. His injuries are entirely neglected by the surgeon in favor of a caffeine binge while the hospital is empty, and as Christopher flutters in and out of consciousness (and probably slowly dies), the radio waves he constantly emits interfere with those around the hospital. Unbeknownst to him, or the surgeon, Tony has taken on the task of tracking him down. The clock is insanely smart with timelines, and has managed to hunt down the exact location Christopher was shipped to, though his intimidating nature certainly helped him along when it came to interrogating people. Completely alone save for Laptop, Tony has travelled to North America, located the hospital with the help of Colin and the radio interference, and used his own powers to render the doctor incapacitated before healing Christopher, escaping with him, and using the laptop to contact the other teachers and get help in shipping the three of them home. He also tips off the police, landing the surgeon in jail for his litany of crimes. He doesn't stick around for this, however, and quickly gets them back to Clayhill.
Aftermath
Once home, it becomes clear that Christopher, in spite of his insistent optimism, is deeply, deeply traumatized by his stay at the hospital. Mere mentions of organs, the sight of injuries, or even someone humming the right melody (thanks to the surgeon's affinity for certain channels) will send him into a dissociated state, where he quits responding to anything, the lights in his eyes shut off and his pupils turn grey. He refuses to talk about it, often covering it up by instead rehashing his favorite books from the hospital stay, though the household notices he also quietly refuses to play soft rock, and his eyes water at the smell of coffee, orange soda, or red meat. He clings to Tony, the fridge, Bread Boy, Doi, and the now-returned Jonathan, often silently refusing to be in a room that doesn't have one of them in it. They've noticed his change in nature and have - especially the older ones - gently tried to nurture him back to his once bubbly, innocent personality, though no one is sure if it's working. All they know is that Christopher is still polite and dutiful, continuing to practice his singing for the day he might get to teach, and following in Tony's footsteps as a clock, looking up to him as though he were a third father - a sentiment Tony deeply shares. Everyone in the household is protective of him now, even Bread Boy and Doi, both younger than he is and traumatized for their own reasons - the latter for obvious ones, and the former because he genuinely thought he was participating in a song about being healthy before it all spiraled into hell and he had to watch Doi being drugged and devouring his one remaining friend. They treat him like their own brother and cling to him similarly to how he does them. Hopefully, with enough love and support, and the help of time, Christopher will start to heal, and fulfill his natural role alongside Tony - teaching time to the other residents in Clayhill, particularly to the trio should they wind up reunited again. His future might have a glimmer of hope in store for him.
Appearance
In human form, Christopher is pale, short, petite, and freckled. He has fluffy blond hair, and swirling green irises that glow whenever he's awake. He wears a simple beige, long-sleeved shirt, and a brown sweater vest with eleven buttons over his heart - red, blue and green, with four small beige buttons in the final corner and four bronze buttons underneath. He wears matching brown shorts with visible stitching, knee-length white socks, and brown loafers. He almost always has his olive green newsboy cap with him. He has a gap in his top front teeth. If you ask him the time, his sclerae will go black, and bright green numbers will show up in place of his irises - the hour on his right, the minute on his left. The seconds are counted by his heartbeat.
Reference: (tw blood for the one of his actual person)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He has a thick London accent, and if he's happy (which he usually is), he forgets the concept of an inside voice. He's very polite, if a bit socially inept, and his default expression is wide eyes and a smile.
He will scream “HELLO, SIR! I’M CHRISTOPHER! WHAT’S YOUR NAME?” at you from 6 feet away as his default greeting. Once you’ve exchanged names, he’ll simply yell, “HELLO, ___!” should he see you. Luckily the residents of Clayhill don’t mind.
Bonus
Technically, his full name is "Christopher Pamela Roy’s’s the Radio Clock Song the Talking the Boy Clock Clock", due to a sudden and severe computer error.
He was created pretty much accidentally by Roy.
His favorite color is green (”mostly awake-ish bright green! Like computery eyes!”).
His song would've been about technology, time, and music, but due to his youth it wouldn't have been very polished. It doesn’t help that he's been assigned so many topics to cover at once.
Given time and the chance to polish his lesson, he likely would’ve ended up teaching them about the importance of getting enough sleep, maintaining high energy throughout the day, and keeping a schedule. There would have been a heavy amount of piano, synth and for some reason 808s in his song. He wouldn't have hurt the trio, though it's unclear how much they would’ve learned - it would likely correlate with how well the radio clock was able to craft his song before it was time for his lesson. Chances are after the lesson, the students would have adopted Christopher, with Red and Duck caring for him in a similar manner to Doi. Doi would've seen him as a new friend, and been genuinely interested in Christopher’s lesson. Roy is virtually unaware that he's even made Christopher. Conversely, Christopher is only vaguely aware of Roy.
Roy was likely attempting to make an updated version of Tony, sort of like the Laptop to his Colin. To make him more palatable, particularly to Red and Doi, he made him youthful and technologically advanced. He just gave up, or forgot, halfway through, and the details for Christopher as a teacher seem to have filled themselves in. One would expect Tony to be offended by these origins, but he’s far too attached to Christopher to mind. He’s more preoccupied with teaching the boy all he knows about time, teaching and musicality. If the events of 4, 5 and 6 had never happened, after his lesson he would've gone around waking up the residents of Clayhill at their preferred times. He would have lived with the trio and done his best to be of help. He loves grape juice, but believes that the black grapes he consumes are really something called “blue grapes”. He swears he used to have a friend, another accidental teacher, who was a grape juice box. He was blue, which might lead to this confusion. Roy has absolutely no memory of making said juice box. Christopher insists he was going to be part of “Dad and Bread Boy’s band”, and that his name ended in “-im”. He can never remember the first letter. The date "June 19" is lightly burned into his time-displaying eyes. He's convinced he was born with this feature, and that June 19th is his birthday. His birthday is really April 25th, which, to the entirety of Clayhill, is just the 25th 19th of the 4th June of whatever year it is. Christopher, who would be confused by this, simply celebrates on this day with each passing year. Should they all be alive and together again, Red and Duck, with the help of the Fridge, have a tradition of baking him a sticky toffee pudding cake each year. He doesn't age, but the trio is happy to celebrate the day he was created regardless.
He sometimes malfunctions and wakes Tony up at 6:00, by screaming “BEEP” repeatedly. At first Tony thought it was a prank, then sleepwalking, then a prank by Roy. It turns out this is just a sign that his batteries are leaking.
Conversely, when his batteries die, he collapses wherever he is. He doesn’t have any warning (e.g. sluggishness, severe malfunctions), so Tony has made it part of his routine to check Christopher’s batteries every Sunday at 8:40, giving him time to change them out if need be before he insists on bathing the trio.
He tries to copy Fridge by doing the chicken dance, Tony by reading the newspaper, and Jonathan by putting unopened food in his mouth and spinning on his heels. Fridge and Jonathan think it’s adorable. Tony is equal parts annoyed and amused.
He has also tried to copy Tony by turning to human form, clinging to the wall, and switching back. This led to him promptly falling on the floor, losing a panel and a battery, and Tony panicking and crying while trying to find the missing parts and attach them to an unconscious Christopher.
He probably called the police when Christopher didn’t immediately wake up. It turns out he just put the battery in upside down. He gets extremely embarrassed if anyone mentions this, and now simply sweats nervously and weakly chides Christopher whenever he gets too close to falling off of something.
He tried to copy Tony’s dance. Tony is now extremely self-conscious because he’d never actually seen that dance before, and Christopher makes it look silly. Tony has literally woken up sweating because he’s convinced no one who’s seen his dance will ever take him seriously again.
Tony looked exactly as ridiculous as he worries he did, but the trio didn’t actually pay attention to his dance when he did it, still trying to process what exactly he was doing off of the wall.
The same thing almost happened when Christopher copied Tony’s opera, but Tony has too much of an ego about his voice to mind Christopher’s exaggerated impression of him.
He has to consciously avoid spelling his name out as “Kristafur”. He has made this mistake more than once, but it doesn’t bother him and endears his fathers.
Fridge has a drawing of his, signed with the misspelled version of his name, attached to his door with a magnet. It’s never coming off.
Christopher gets along with everyone in Clayhill.

Woods -
(DAMN BIRD PULLED ME IN KICKING AND SCREAMING SKDJRIEKSJSEISILWDJDJDJSKA, also on another note, Woods can change his height)
*At the door stood someone who seemed to be at least 6ft tall. They seemed to be a butterfly/human hybrid, with long green hair in a ponytail that rested on their shoulder, and they had yellow eyes. They wore a black fading to blue Hanfu. They also had extremely large butterfly wings on their back, which was a gradient of silver to gold, and they has antenna on their head. Most interestingly, they didn't seem to have a noticeable gender; they didn't seem to be male or female.*
Goodness, I'm so sorry for knocking this late! I hope you can forgive me, but may I please spend the night here? I.. got lost on my way home, and with the sun beginning to set, I don't want to risk getting lost.
omg...is that Shrignold from dhmis?

late but i want to hear about your hcs about larry
I don’t have that many headcanons but here are some of my personal favorites!
Larry is a robot, unlike the other teachers, who are human.
And because he is a robot, he’s much smarter than the other teachers.
And because he’s a robot, he has a lot of false memories, but those memories are based off the Original Larry, or rather, Lexi.
Larry has no siblings, unlike the person he’s based off (who is like the oldest of 6-) but he’s really good with kids.
Larry can eat food. Thank Colin for making that a feature of his.
Larry also glitches out a lot too. Blame Colin.
If you couldn’t tell, Larry was made by and programmed by Colin. It was a little experiment Roy put Colin up to. Did it work? You tell me.
Larry can change his eyes and hair color/style at will. That’s why you’ll see him with a swirled rainbow eye and a orange eye sometimes. I haven’t drawn the different hair colors and styles yet, but he can change that light blue cloud shaped hair to anything he so desires, whether it’s very long black hair or short and curly green hair.
He can also give himself freckles.
He doesn’t need to eat, but eating acts like a way of charging him, so he finds it useful.
Absolutely hates windy nights.
Also hates rainy nights.
It’s so loud when it rains and you can hear the wind and it annoys the poor guy.
Going back to the whole being a robot thing, Larry cannot be controlled by anyone. Not even Colin could control him. When Red Guy is messing with the panel, he’s messing with the Larry Puppet, not Larry himself.
Oh ya, Larry has a little Larry puppet. It’s basically the lamp. Normally he just likes to use it for light but it’s something that you can control, just like most of the other puppets.
Safe to say, Larry broke the lamp puppet after that incident. And the clock. And the butterfly. And the computer. And literally every puppet except the Sketchbook puppet cause the Skstchbook puppet had nothing to do with the DHMIS 6 incident. The Sketchbook puppet was with Harry actually.
Larry likes coffee. He drinks more coffee than anyone in the studio.
Larry’s gay and asexual. He likes guys but he just wants to cuddle.
He’s very interested in astronomy and astrology.
Like he teaches about dreams and all but he really wants to learn about the stars and planets.
Being based off a real person, Larry knows the college experience (Lexi has a teaching degree for psychology and anatomy) without ever actually going to college. It freaks Tony out, who’s in the middle of college right now (he wants to get a teaching degree for history)
Larry has probably seen every single episode of Spongebob with Manny.
This man has got a lot of time on his hands.
He doesn’t drink that often, but he still has the urge to. Blame Lexi this time.
The most judgemental robot you will ever meet. Back to blaming Colin now.
He will judge you for everything you do, and he will correct you when you say or doing something wrong.
He doesn’t understand sarcasm very well. It’s hard for him to tell if someone’s joking or not as well.
He has poor time management. He can spend hours on a task that would take five minutes.
He is very good at writing though.
He can predict people’s actions pretty accurately and it freaks them out so much.
Also easily broken and is difficult to repair. Not saying someone has broken him and Colin has had to fix him but-
Terrible sleep schedule. Can and has sleep into the afternoon.
This one isn’t related to Larry per say, but to an earlier version of him, but an earlier iteration of him was a lot younger (like 10/11 yrs old) than the ages I’ve done for current and past iterations of him (21/22 yrs old, 27 yrs old for Lexi)
The current Larry looks like he is 23 yrs old, and is often treated as such. In reality he was built like 2 or 3 years before the events of DHMIS happened.

things the dhmis crew I assume have said
“So when the yellow puppet paints a picture of the clown, the talking paper somehow pours black paint all over it without ever touching the paint.”
“After the duck puppet explains that time’s an illusion, the clock puppet starts incoherently screaming at the top of his lungs, but just not at the duck puppet.”
“turns out the butterfly runs Heaven’s Gate”
“After the duck puppet get disconnected from the matrix, one of you in a giant tin can suit has to pull real glittery innards out of him with your hands”
“what if it turns out the red on was just a nudist the entire time”

nobody asked for my DHMIS OC but here she is
~ BIO ~
Name: Viola Object: Violin Human Age: 19 Sexuality: Bisexual, leans towards males Subject: Music Lesson: Viola and her friend, Petunia Piano, teach children about the amazing world of music. They strive for percision and following your lessons to a "t", and are OBSESSED with classical music. They put it on a pedestal on encourage the children always listen to it, even if they clearly dont want to. Viola is paritcularly obsessed with Vivaldi, a famous composer of violin pieces. She also cannot take any criticism, and when red guy criticizes her piece she, well, you'll see. How They Snap: When offended, stressed, overwhelmed or angry, Viola will begin to "detune". Her music becomes screechy and garrish, hell, distorted. Her strings begin to snap and from her orephuses (specifically the eyes and mouth) begin to leak a black goo. The loudness and the high pitched-ness of the sounds she makes can cause ruptured eardrums, ear bleeding, deafness,  and in very rare and extreme cases sonic booms that can lead to death. Personality: Towards the other DHMIS objects, Viola is cheery, friendly and naieve. She loves to perform her favorite songs for her friends and write her very own classical pieces. She gets excited very easily and is very animated. She jumps about, and often is very cuddly with her friends. She hugs them, puts her arm around them, and just is very touchy (not in a sexual way, of course). She loves to be the center of attention, hence why she performs so often. Being out of the spotlight can make her upset and annoyed and can make her anxious. Friends: Petuina Piano, Paige the Notepad, Colin the Computer, Shrignold the Butterfly Love Interest: Colin The Computer (ship name is dubstep) I will probably write a better bio later, but this is what you have now.
