Your long and arduous journey has led you to this, the final confrontation. You thought you knew what to expect, but just as you struck the final blow, your ultimate foe's eyes gleamed with unnatural light as they proclaimed…
THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM
A game for 4–6 players
Introduction
This Isn't Even My Final Form is a GMless tactical minigame for 4–6 players. You'll take on the roles of a party of heroic adventurers nearing the end of a world-spanning quest to defeat a great evil, the Final Boss. Unfortunately for them, each time they think they've won, the Final Boss assumes a new, even more horrifying form, and the struggle begins anew. Is there any end to this conflict? There's only one way to find out!
What You'll Need
This Isn't Even My Final Form requires a dozen six-sided dice, as well as a way of keeping track of a few important numbers – a shared text document or some scrap paper will suffice.

Character Creation
Choose two of the following actions to be your Party Member's Class Actions: Strike, Heal, Buff, Debuff. If you'd rather determine this randomly, roll on the following table.
1. Strike, Heal 2. Strike, Buff 3. Strike, Debuff 4. Heal, Buff 5. Heal, Debuff 6. Buff, Debuff
Give your Party Member's Class a name which suits your Class Actions. Also give your Party Member a name; it is traditional but not obligatory for your Party Member's name to have exactly five letters.
Playing the Game
Play is divided into a series of Phases. During each Phase, one player takes on the role of the Final Boss. That player's Party Member does not participate in this Phase; they're trapped, lost, incapacitated, or otherwise separated from the party or unable to act for the duration of the Phase. All other players take on the roles of their Party Members.
The Final Boss player's first order of business is to describe what the current Phase looks like. The Final Boss player can roll 1–3 times on the following table (re-rolling duplicates) to decide on a theme, or use it as inspiration for their own theme. To use this table, roll a six-sided die twice, treating the first roll as the "tens" place and the second roll as the "ones" place, yielding a number in the range from 11 to 66.

Once the Phase has been defined, set the party's Momentum to zero. Momentum is a value which will increase or decrease over the course of the Phase; it has a minimum value of zero, and no particular upper limit.
Play proceeds in a series of rounds, as follows.
The Final Boss Attacks
The Final Boss always goes first in each round. Roll one die:
1–3: The Final Boss chooses one of the following actions. 4–5: The Final Boss chooses two of the following actions. You may not target the same Party Member twice; however, you may use the same action on two different Party Members if you wish. 6: The Final Boss does nothing this round. On its turn next round, it does not roll and instead uses its Ultimate Attack.
Wound: Inflict the Critical Condition on a single Party Member. If the chosen Party Member already has the Critical Condition, it's replaced with the Down Condition and the party loses one Momentum.
Imprecate: Inflict the Cursed Condition on a single Party Member.
Envenom: Inflict the Poisoned Condition on a single Party Member.
Bewilder: Inflict the Confused Condition on a single Party Member.
Counter: If you're targeted by the Strike or Debuff actions this round, after resolving that action, perform the Wound action on the Party Member who targeted you. You may counter any number of actions in this way.
Dispel: Remove the Buffed and Protected Conditions from any number of Party Members.
Enrage: The Final Boss rolls two dice and takes the better result on its next action. The party may cancel this benefit with a successful Debuff action; doing so removes the extra die instead of forcing the Final Boss to roll twice and take the lower result.
Ultimate Attack: This action can only be chosen by rolling a 6 during the previous round. When the Final Boss uses this action, choose Cursed, Poisoned, or Confused: you may perform the Wound action AND inflict the chosen Condition upon any number of Party Members, in that order. (i.e., Wound each targeted Party Member, THEN Curse/Confuse/Poison any who remain standing.)
The Final Boss player describes the outcome of the chosen action(s) in as much or as little detail as they like; control then passes to the other players.
The Party Acts
After the Final Boss has attacked, each Party Member who doesn't have the Down condition chooses one of the following actions, in any order the players wish. After choosing any action other than Defend, the player rolls their dice pool, which is a handful of six-sided dice constructed as follows:
Start with a number of dice equal to the party's current Momentum (initially zero, though it will grow over the course of the Phase)
Add one die if you're performing one of your Party Member's Class Actions
Add one die if your Party Member currently has the Buffed Condition
Add one die if your Party Member currently has the Critical Condition
Roll all of the dice together, and find the highest result. Ties for the highest result have no special significance; for example, if you rolled four dice and got 1, 3, 5 and 5, your result is 5. If you'd ever end up with zero or fewer dice for any reason – either because your dice pool was empty to begin with, or because some effect obliged you to discard every die you rolled – you receive an automatic result of 1.
If an action requires you to target a specific Party Member or make other choices, you can wait and see the result of your roll before making those decisions.
Strike: You attack the Final Boss. Roll your dice pool:
1–3: Nothing happens – either the attack misses, or the Final Boss turns out to be immune to whatever you just did. 4–5: The attack strikes true. The party gains one Momentum. 6: Critical hit! The party gains two Momentum.
Special: If you roll triples or better (i.e., at least three of the same number) on a Strike action, the Final Boss' current Phase is defeated, and you move on to the next Phase. It doesn't matter what number comes up triples.
Heal: You attempt to restore the party's strength. Roll your dice pool:
1–3: You may remove the Critical Condition from a single Party Member. If no Party Member has the Critical Condition, nothing happens. 4–5: You may remove the Critical Condition from any number of party members OR you may remove the Down Condition from a single Party Member. 6: You may remove the Critical and Down Conditions from any number of party members.
Buff: You attempt to bolster a party member. Roll your dice pool:
1–3: You may grant the Buffed Condition to a single Party Member OR remove a Condition of your choice other than Critical or Down from a single Party Member. 4–5: You may grant the Buffed Condition to a single Party Member AND remove a Condition of your choice other than Critical or Down from that Party Member, if they have one. 6: You may grant the Buffed Condition OR remove a Condition of your choice other than Critical or Down to any number of Party Members. You may choose a different option for each targeted Party Member.
Debuff: You attempt to weaken the Final Boss. Roll your dice pool:
1-3: Nothing happens – it turns out the Final Boss was immune to that effect. 4–5: The Final Boss rolls two dice and takes the lower result on its next action. 6: The Final Boss rolls two dice and takes the lower result on its next action AND the party gains one Momentum.
Defend: You may grant the Protected condition to a Party Member of your choice. Do not roll.
Based on the outcome of your roll (if applicable), describe the outcome of your action in as much or as little detail as you wish.
Once each Party Member has acted, return to "The Final Boss Attacks" to begin the next round.
Ending the Phase
As noted above, rolling triples or better on a Strike action results in the immediate defeat of the current Phase. Alternatively, if all Party Members simultaneously have the Down Condition, the Final Boss player's Party Member suddenly breaks free or arrives on the scene and rescues everyone in a stunning deus ex machina; this also ends the Phase, but does not count as defeating it.
In either case, reset the party's momentum to zero, remove all Conditions, and move on to the next Phase. The role of the Final Boss passes to a different player, with preference given to those who haven't yet had a chance to be the Final Boss; the previous Final Boss player resumes playing their Party Member.
Continue until the party has defeated a number of Phases at least equal to the number of players, or until mutual agreement has been reached that all this has gone on quite long enough.
Conditions
Some actions can impose Conditions upon the individual Party Members. Conditions can be positive or negative, and last until specific conditions for their removal are met.
Buffed: Your strength has been boosted. When rolling your dice pool, you roll one extra die.
Confused: You've lost your wits. When the party acts, your action is determined by rolling a d6 – 1: Strike; 2: Heal; 3: Buff; 4: Debuff; 5: Defend; 6: do nothing this round AND remove this Condition. This Condition is also removed if you gain the Critical Condition while under its effects. You may choose targets normally if the rolled action requires them. Confused Party Members always act before their un-Confused peers; if there are multiple Confused Party Members, the Final Boss decides the order in which they act.
Critical: You are badly wounded. Desperation lends strength, and so this Condition adds one extra die to your dice pools; however, if you suffer the Critical Condition a second time, it becomes the Down Condition instead.
Cursed: You've been afflicted with misfortune. Discard your highest result after rolling your dice pool, but before applying your chosen action's effects. If there's a tie for the highest result, discard all of them; for example, if you roll four dice while Cursed and get 1, 3, 5 and 5, your result is 3. If the Condition causes you to discard your only set of triples of better on a Strike action, the Phase does not end.
Down: You are incapacitated by injury or foul enchantment. When the party acts, you may not choose an action; your action remains lost even if this Condition is removed before the end of the round. When you gain this Condition, remove all other Conditions, and the party loses one Momentum. (This is not in addition to the Momentum loss noted by effects which inflict this Condition – those are just reminders.) You may not gain other Conditions while this one persists.
Poisoned: You're afflicted by a poison, plague, or death-curse. If you have the Poisoned Condition after resolving your action for the round, you gain the Critical Condition. If you already have the Critical Condition, you instead gain the Down Condition, and the party loses one Momentum.
Protected: The next time you would gain any Condition other than Buffed, remove this Condition instead. You also remove this Condition if you take any action other than Defend on your turn.

I could name an infinity of crossovers that I'd like to see between HypMic and ParaLive: Kenta / Saburo (about which I've already made a fanart); Hajun / Gentaro (... / Shion, why not?); Allen / Ichiro (easy to imagine them talking for hours about Buraikan lol); Saimon and Haruomi / Jakurai, Hitoya and Rei; Toma / Hifumi; Reo, Ryu and Kantaro / Ramuda; Satsuki / Dice (OMG, I WOULD DIE TO SEE THOSE TWO DORKS INTERACTING); Zen / Rio ("SO MUSCLE. HUSTLE. THIS IS A JOY!")... and I think this is quite enough, so I'll stop here for your sake. BUT. BUT BUT BUT. Let's talk about the interaction between Iori, Yohei, Samatoki and Jyuto, will you?
I can perfectly see them meeting at bar 4/7 late in the evening, after the closing time. Yohei is behind the counter, cleaning the glasses while chatting idly with Iori, waiting for Samatoki and Jyuto, who just got off work, to open the bar's door and enter, even if the place is already closed. Because yes, they're a group of friends who just meet up to relax together before calling it a day. It makes me laugh to think that Samatoki is the youngest, among them! Yohei, Iori and Jyuto are, indeed, respectively 28, 28 and 29 years old. And all of them have so much in common! Let's start by saying that them all love smoking. So, I can picture the scene: Samatoki slowly walks in, sits on a high stool next to Iori, who's already smoking from his pipe, a glass of liquor in front of him, greeting Samatoki with a fist bump ("Yooo, Samatoki-kun~") and Jyuto with a graceful pipe motion ("Iruma-san~"). Meanwhile Yohei, with a relaxed smile, starts pouring a glass of iced whisky before the white haired man, who's just brought a cigarette to his lips. On Samatoki's right, Jyuto sits down and loosens just a little bit his necktie, lighting himself a cigarette, so Samatoki leans forward to light his through Jyuto's. Yohei places a glass of whisky before the other man, too. So the chitchat about the day starts, while a relaxing jazz music plays in the background. The two Yokohama men simply love bar 4/7. Samatoki, in particular. He loves the atmosphere, so calm and relaxing with those dim lights and the smell of liquors and a different tobacco to the one he smokes, so detached from the reality he lives every day, so much in line with his tastes about music and aesthetic. Moreover, Yohei's drinks are the best and he himself and Iori are ex Yakuzas too. It's so strange for him to say something like this, but he feels understood by them, he's at ease with Iori and Yohei, because they know what Samatoki goes through as a Yakuza. That's the only place where he can break down his defenses, at least for a while. Obviously, Jyuto enjoys their company, too! He gets on well especially with Iori (he won't never admit that Yohei remembers him a quieter version of Samatoki, lol). Jyuto and Iori sips from their glasses while talking about the day and exchanging information about criminals in the area... I can see Jyuto taking care of the AKYR case and informing Iori about every small new info about it. In the background, Yohei (who's now enjoying himself a glass of liquor and a cigarette offered by the MTC leader) and Samatoki are exchanging passionate opinions on their new purchases of vintage clothes and records, since they both love that kind of things. Until Yohei says "Oi, Samatoki, let's go to the piano, tell me what do you think about this new rap verse I'm writing for the next stage battle ... try to rap this part and this one, too. Follow me on the beat..." And that's how the rhythmic notes of a piano fill the calm, muted night air inside the bar. "Holy shit! What's the song's name, Yohei-san?" "Shooting arrows. You like it? Eheh" "It's really something, I must admit. But let's talk about it after you listen to our Scarface. Naa, Jyuto?" "Why, yes ~" And Iori: "Nee, Danna ~... What about a small rap battle, just for fun, then? Two on two, since we're in the mood?" Yohei: "Ohoh, not a bad idea! Count me in!" Samatoki: "Ha! You'll regret once we'll show you what MTC can do. Come here, Jyuto!" Jyuto: "Well, I suppose I have no choice " *Double Trouble starts playing...* Funny how to pass from MTC to TCW it's required just a flip of the M (it's an upside down W) and to place it at the end of the word.

whenever Emily shows the slightest hint of disappointment or frustration the world will immediately alter just a little to make her feel better (like retroactively making the stairs unsafe because Emily saved a whole spell slot to climb the wall of the tower). This is the cutest shit and also it took them TWELVE episodes to call Murph out on it
(I'm much further into the podcast now and i can't believe none of them have tried to weaponise this blatant weakness even once)

Coming into this with the only prior experience of DnD being Brennan and Aabria is kind of wild. Like D20 campaigns you'll get the big philosphical speeches for the emotional beats and here's Murph with an equally heartfelt "Life just sucks ass, you know?"

I have one (1) American irl friend and they're from a smalltown in North Carolina so all I'm hearing is people approximating my friend's accent with varying consistency and success
the Crick sounds like paradise and my worst nightmare, simultaneously

Fighting is still continuing in Sudan sporadically despite it being day two of a ceasefire, but overall has lulled and aid is trickling in. The situation is still very dire with bodies in the streets and hundreds of thousands of refugees.
I haven't really talked about South Africa because it doesn't fit the "breaking news" format of these posts, but it's a relatively slow news day so I have time. Since about 2007 there have been electrical issues with repeated blackouts, but since the beginning of 2022 the frequency has increased significantly (over 205 times in 2022 alone) and the electrical company says it will just get worse as winter approaches. Mismanagement was the initial cause, although two large power plants were built that should've solved the problem, but they keep breaking down and can't reach their full output. All of this is tied in with governmental corruption, bribery, etc., particularly under former President Zuma, but extended beyond his tenure. With unemployment at 33%, rampant poverty, and a recent cholera outbreak, all of this is just icing on the cake.
Greece had an election last Sunday, and although Prime Minister Mitsotakis' New Democracy party won 146 seats, that's not enough to form a majority. Mitsotakis decided to not form a coalition and to roll the dice for a second general election on June 25th to secure an overall majority, in the meantime leaving a caretaker government.
Typhoon Mawar, category 4, hit Guam, knocking out most of the island's electricity.
South Carolina passed an abortion ban after six weeks of pregnancy with exceptions for rape, incest, life of mother, and fatal abnormalities.
A student lit fire to her dorm after her phone was confiscated. There was no proper egress and the doors were locked to prevent students from sneaking out, so 19 were killed.

Star-spawned
A game of tentacles and self-discovery, for 3–5 players
One unearthly night, a ray of colourless light descended from the stars, and under its warping radiance, creatures unlike any the world has ever seen were born. They do not know the world, and they do not know themselves. Unfortunately for the world, they’re quick learners!
What You’ll Need
Star-spawned requires three six-sided dice, a large sheet of blank paper – or, alternatively, a shared spreadsheet or text document – called the Discovery Sheet, and some way of noting the values of each player’s Facets.
Some rules refer to the player to your left or right; if you’re not seated around a table, work out a virtual seating order amongst yourselves before play begins.
Character Creation
Character creation in Star-spawned is undertaken as a group, and consists of two main phases: generating Facets, and assigning Facets.
Generate Facets
Roll a six-sided die twice, reading the first roll as the “tens” place and the second roll as the “ones” place, yielding a number in the range from 11 to 66. Find the corresponding row of the following table, and write down the contents of the first column. Repeat this process for the second and third columns, and arrange the results in order to find the name of a Facet. For example, if you rolled 23, 41, and 31, this would yield a Facet name of “Desmatence”.
Generate a number of Facet names equal to the number of players, and write them on the Discovery Sheet, each in a separate column with plenty of space under it.

Assign Facets
Your character begins with a rating of 1 in each Facet generated in the previous step. Distribute a number of additional points equal to the number of players (or, equivalently, equal to the number of Facets). No Facet may have a final value greater than 3. Try to avoid having two characters with the exact same spread of Facets.
Note: at the time that you assign your Facets, you will have no idea what they mean. This is intentional.
Finishing Touches
No human eye may apprehend nor human tongue express what you are. Roll or choose up to three adjectives from the following table to define the impression you leave upon others – your form is otherwise utterly indescribable. Your nameless name likewise cannot be inscribed or uttered; you may amuse yourself by imagining the epithets that will inevitably be bestowed upon you.

Playing the Game
The sole pursuit of Star-spawned is to discover the world, and in so doing, discover yourselves. Play proceeds without a GM: simply describe what do you and ask the group what you see: any other player may answer.
In the course of your explorations, there must come a time when you are not content merely to observe, but find yourself driven to engage in some fashion. When this time comes, you must essay one of your Facets to work your will upon the world. This can be accomplished in one of three ways: Proposing a Hypothesis, Refining a Hypothesis, or Putting Theory into Practice.
Proposing a Hypothesis
Choose a Facet which currently has fewer than three statements written under it on the Discovery Sheet. (Crossed-off statements don’t count for this purpose.) Propose a hypothesis about what that Facet does, in the following form:
“[Facet name] must [up to six words, no more]”
This statement may freely contradict existing statements written under the chosen Facet if you wish; the ways of the star-spawned are ineffable.
Next, roll a number of dice equal to your rating in the chosen Facet, and sum their values. If the sum of the dice is equal to one of the first seven prime numbers – that is, a sum of 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13 or 17 – then your unworldly intuition regarding the Facet’s purpose has led you rightly, and the hypothesis is confirmed; otherwise, it has led you astray: either the Facet is not what you think it is, or you’ve employed it incorrectly, and in both cases the hypothesis is refuted.
Note: the statistically astute may realise that the likelihood of rolling a prime sum decreases as more dice are rolled, from one in two with a single die, to two in five with two dice, to scarcely one in three with three dice. This is as it should be; the powerful are often overconfident!
If the sum of the roll is prime, find the row corresponding to the highest single die on the following table; otherwise, find the row corresponding to the lowest single die. Do not re-roll.

If you achieve glory, the player to your left describes the outcome of your overture; otherwise, the player to your right does. Their descriptions should bear in mind whether the hypothesis was confirmed or refuted: glory as a result of pursuing a refuted hypothesis is likely to take unexpected forms!
Finally, if the hypothesis was confirmed (i.e., the sum of the roll was prime), write it down near the top of the Discovery Sheet, under the appropriate Facet’s column, then add a question mark to remind yourself that it is, as yet, only a hypothesis. Otherwise, write it near the bottom, and cross it out to remind you that it’s been refuted.
Refining a Hypothesis
Choose an existing statement from the Discovery Sheet that’s followed by at least one question mark. Roll a number of dice equal to your rating in the statement’s associated Facet.
Next, you may – but are not required to – discard a number of dice up to the number of question marks following the chosen statement. (i.e., if there is one question mark, you may discard zero or one dice; if there are two question marks, you may discard zero, one, or two dice.) You may not discard all of the dice that you rolled – at least one must remain.
After making your discards, if any, sum the remaining dice.
If the sum of the dice is prime, your understanding of the Facet is deepened. Read the highest single die as your result, using the table above, and have the appropriate player describe the outcome. Then, add another question mark after the chosen statement.
If the sum of the dice is not prime, something unexpected happens, and your understanding of the Facet is transformed.  Read the lowest single die as your result, using the table above, and have the appropriate player describe the outcome. Then, choose one:
Modify the chosen statement on the Discovery Sheet by adding, removing, or changing a single word (observing the overall limit of six words following “must”, of course).
Remove a question mark from the chosen statement.
Finally, if the chosen statement now has three or more question marks next to it, erase them and write a period in their place: the hypothesis is now a theory. Conversely, if the chosen statement now has no question marks next to it at all, cross it off the Discovery Sheet.
Putting Theory into Practice
Choose an existing statement from the Discovery Sheet that’s followed by a period. As you’re falling back on well-understood principles, simply roll dice equal to your rating in the statement’s associated Facet, reading the highest single die as your result.
Concluding the Game
Play concludes when every Facet has at least one statement followed by a period written under it. Take what you’ve learned about yourselves and collectively describe the transformation you wreak upon the world.

DESCRIPCIÓN PSICOLÓGICA: darcy es una dicotomía andante, su madre siempre luchó por darle alas, pero la vida decidió cortárselas y eso resultó evidente para aquellos que la vieron crecer. una chica de personalidad ESPONTÁNEA que intenta vivir al máximo, extremadamente INDEPENDIENTE y TESTARUDA, casi obsesionada por demostrar que puede cuidarse sola y que no necesita a nadie, con una fuerte tendencia a hacer lo opuesto a lo que le ordenan. a pesar de parecer SOCIABLE, en el fondo es bastante RESERVADA con sus cosas y no duda en mentir y huir si con eso puede ignorar los problemas y evitar las cosas que le incomodan. no suele medir límites de lo que dice o hace y eso la vuelve alguien IMPRUDENTE, a veces es demasiado PRACTICA, puede terminar tomando las peores decisiones, sólo para después fingir que nada pasó y seguir viviendo. 
DESCRIPCIÓN FÍSICA: ASPECTO FÍSICO ACTUAL. cabello castaño y corto a la altura de los hombros, se ha acostumbrado a peinarlo con ondas desaliñadas aunque en el trabajo prefiere llevarlo atado en una coleta por cuestiones de practicidad. de complexión delgada, apenas llega al 1.63 de estatura. no tiene tatuajes, pero sí múltiples perforaciones a lo largo de las orejas (X).
