I just remembered this idea and needed to tell you before i forgot again
AU were Dio's mom (we need to give her a name) is fucking tired of her life with Dario and decides to run away with her son, but to were?
Then she remember's. The accident, the talk between Dario and the surviving man and a favor
So going to the Joestar manor it is
(To spice things a little, if you want, we could put a bit of Behind Cloosed Doors and Dio's mom kicking ass later)
I didn't thought much after that but i did have a little thing with Speedwagon and Dio's mom were they knew eachoter and she helped him at some point, i just think it's cute (and to be even funnier when at some point she shows him Jonathan and he goes "i'm going to marry him")
Man, i just want the moms to be more appreciated :(
~(Maybe i will come back with another AU for the victorian moms again, just a warning)~
Y E S S S S S S S S S S S S
(And for the sake of the au and so I don’t have to keep referring to her as Dio’s Mother……. Let’s say her name is Ida)
Just. Ida arriving at the Joestar mansion with a much younger Dio and requesting safety. Explaining the whole situation with Dario, maybe telling him Dario’s true intentions and even saying that he doesn’t need to take her in just as long as Dio’s safe
but whatever she does, George agrees to take her and her son. Maybe she simply becomes a resident of the mansion, maybe she's hired as Jonathan's nanny/caretaker, but yeah she ends up staying the mansion
and maybe in a bit of twisted fate from canon...... the two boys end up being close friends. Dio's still hardened from his time in the slums with Dario, but given how much younger he is and the fact his mother hadn't died, there's still a bit of childhood wonder left in him. Just enough that with his mother's encouragement, Jonathan is able to slowly worm his way into the other boy's heart no matter how much he denies it
that isn't so say Dio is nice. While he may be much kinder than canon, there's a difference between kind and nice and he's still Dio. He's still terrifyingly smart, still incredibly cunning, still silver tongued...... just now he's not trying to ruin Jonathan's life because he genuinely likes the guy
these two end up balancing each other out in many ways. Dio ground Jonathan to reality and stops him before he can get taken advantage of, and Jonathan in turn shows Dio how to be happy and that vulnerability isn't always dangerous
(and ofc I LOVE the mental image of Ida silently helping Speedwagon as he pines and Dio is debating the merits of shovel talking him)
((also also Behind Closed Doors is going to be I N S A N E in this AU, Ida is doing every possible thing in her power to make Jonathan happy but also absolutely terrified upon realising she essentially escape one lions den just to stumble into another. I'll admit, I'm torn on whether Ida Des up being brought to the castle with Jonathan, or if she ends up learning Hamon with Speedwagon and Erina))

It took a while, but it’s finally here! An extensive timeline of the events in and about Phantom Blood for further reference on this part.
This covers the events on both anime and manga as well additional info from the artbooks and stuff that was implied/inferred or that can be deduced going by all the info available in the story and, occasionally (namely, some of the info around Jack The Ripper), from real life events too.
(full timeline under the cut for length reasons)
16th century (no dates given, but it can be speculated was somewhere in the late 1530s-early 1540s), the Dark Knights: Tarkus and Bruford are born.
Windknight's Lot is an active training ground/site for knights in this period. This is where Tarkus and Bruford do his entire training.
1563, Tarkus and Bruford become two of the only five men in history who have defeated the "77 Rings" training method.
At some point in this period, both become Queen Mary Stuart's faithful retainers.
1565. Queen Elizabeth and Mary Stuart fight for the throne.
Also in 1565, Queen Mary Stuart's husband, Darnley dies. Queen Elizabeth the 1st takes advantage of that and charges Mary Stuart with having killed him.
It's inferred that, still over the course of that year, Mary Stuart's armies (one of them being led by Tarkus and Bruford) were under attack as the nobles of the land revolted against Mary Stuart. Mary Stuart's side was defeated, resulting in her imprisonment, however, the army led by Tarkus and Bruford was still undefeated. Ultimately, they got tricked by Queen Elizabeth and were executed shortly after Mary Stuart had suffered the same fate.
--------------
1827, Dario Brando was born.
1838, January 19th, Will Zeppeli was born.
1858, the “first” incident with the Stone Mask takes place. Will’s father becomes a vampire and kills his entire crew and, almost, his son as well.
There is no info on the matter but it could be inferred that Mario Zeppeli was born around this period of time --somewhere in the mid-to-late 1850s and the early 1860s, or up to the 1870s at most-- as Will Zeppeli mentions he’s a married man and that he has a son back in Italy (assuming Will started his family before he went to Tibet). It’s also very likely that Will visited his family a few times throughout the years as Mario not only got to know about Will’s eventual fate and about the Stone Mask, but he also learned about Hamon and some of those techniques (which were only known in Tibet, so the easiest way he could have learned about them was from Will himself).
1860. Zeppeli goes to Tibet and starts training with Master Tonpetty and becomes very close friends with Dire since, forming a friendship that would last for nearly three decades.
1863. Zeppeli finishes his training and starts his one-man search for the Stone Mask around the world.
Also in 1863, (no month/day specified), Straizo was born.
Still in 1863, October 16th, Robert E. O. Speedwagon was born.
No specific date is given, although it’s often speculated it was in December of either 1867 or 1868, Dio Brando was born.
1868, April 4th, Jonathan Joestar was born.
Also in 1868. The carriage accident in which Mary Joestar dies takes place as the Joestars were making their way back to Liverpool. Jonathan is only weeks/months old around this time, meaning that the accident took place somewhere after April 4th of that year.
It’s not entirely clear, but it’s possible that it is around this same year (1869 at most) that Dario gets caught trying to sell the wedding ring he stole from the Joestars.
1869 (no month/day specified), Erina Pendleton was born.
It’s also not specified when, but it’s possible that Dio’s mother died around these years (1868-69, and before 1880).
1873. George gets Jonathan a pet that would soon become Jonathan's only friend growing up: Danny.
1880. Dario Brando dies at some point in this year.
1881, Dio Brando is legally/officially adopted by the Joestars and starts living with them. Jojo’s happy (and a bit spoiled, too) life begins to crumble.
Also in 1881, Jonathan and Erina meet.
Still in 1881, Dio kills Danny.
1881 still, Dio assaults Erina.
It’s in this same year (1881) that Jojo starts showing interest for the first time in the stone mask after finding out it reacts to blood touching its surface.
Still in 1881, the Pendletons move to India due to Mister Pendleton’s job.
We are told that Jonathan spent the next 7 years in almost absolute solitude as a result of Dio basically isolating him in his attempt to destroy Jona and become the sole heir of the Joestar fortune. It is also through these seven years that we can see George and Dio often bonding as father and son.
It’s also at some point during these 7 years that Jonathan starts studying archaeology while Dio pursues a law career (could be inferred it was part of his plan to get the Joestars’ fortune, but that’s never truly mentioned).
1888 comes. At some point in this year, Dio visits Wang Chen’s shop located in Ogre Street to buy the poison he would later use on his adoptive father, George.
1888, still: George Joestar falls “ill” at some point here. We are also told about Jack The Ripper's activity being at it's peak around this time. Based on the info available about the period of activity of real life's Ripper as well as other info given later on in PB, George’s “illness” should have happened somewhere between early-to-mid September (or late-ish September at most).
Days later, Jonathan finds Dario Brando’s letter in the library of the Joestars, which seems to incriminate Dio in regards to George’s “illness”.
Going mainly by some of the actual dates given later on, it can be inferred that Jojo’s trip to London (Ogre Street) take place somewhere in early to mid October, 1888.
After leaving the Joestar estate, it takes Jonathan at least 3-ish days to get to Ogre Street.
October, 1888, Jonathan and Speedwagon meet for the first time. Worried about Jojo, Speedwagon resolves to follow and help him. They both go to Wang Chen’s shop, get the antidote Jojo was looking for, they capture Wang Chen and start travelling back to Liverpool, all likely in the same night/day.
It takes another 3 days for Jonathan, now along with Speedwagon and a captured Wang Chen, to get back to Liverpool. Basically, Jonathan was away from his home for about 7 or 8 days.
Around a day or two shy from Jojo coming back home is when we see Dio getting drunk by the docks in Liverpool, where he ends up killing a drunkard and turning the man’s companion into a vampire.
It is implied that the timeframe between the sunrise that kills the vampire and the moment Dio gets back to the Joestar estate is of at least a whole day. It’s possible that it could have been 2 days even, considering that Dio comes back home clean, with his injuries (which included a broken collarbone and a serious blood loss) bandaged and patched, meaning that he most likely took the time to get his injuries properly treated. This idea could also be supported by the fact that George seems to be doing much better now compared to days prior. As effective as an antidote can be, it’s very unlikely for it to give such considerable results in less than 24 hours. There’s also the fact that the place is ‘packed’ with policemen and everything is set up and ready by the time Dio gets back.
Later on on the night Dio gets back, George Joestar gets killed along with all the policemen there and Dio becomes a vampire.
The fight and eventual fire at the Joestar mansion takes place over the course of that same night.
Still on that same night (seemingly before dawn), after the fight has ended and despite his own heavy injuries, Speedwagon manages to carry an unconscious Jonathan to a hospital.
Given Speedwagon's nature and behavior towards Jonathan, it could be inferred that he is forced to leave the hospital over the course of the following day to Jonathan’s admission into the hospital, most likely due to his backgrounds and ‘seedy’ looks (as hinted later on). This paired up with the fact that he most likely used whatever money and goods he had on him to cover at the very least Jojo’s admittance to the hospital, its very likely that Spw ended up with no means to pay for proper healthcare for himself and had to go get his own injuries and broken bones treated somewhere else, coming back 3 days later. Considering we see his Ogre Street friends tagging along when he comes to visit, it’s very likely that they all met somewhere halfway between London and Liverpool, or even somewhere within Liverpool (given the 3 day window we have here, as well as Spw showing up bandaged).
That day when Speedwagon comes back is also the day him and Erina meet for the first time in a less than savory way, Speedwagon is once again forced to leave.
That same night, past midnight, Speedwagon breaks into the hospital where he witnesses Jonathan regain consciousness and, also, learns a little bit about the background between the Jojo and Erina.
It is implied that it is until the following day that Speedwagon finally gets to see a now conscious Jonathan.
It can be inferred that Jojo’s stay at the hospital was about a week or a couple weeks long at least considering the degree of his injuries (burns, broken bones, cuts/stab wounds, traumas, etc) and the fact that he wasn’t a hamon user by then, meaning that his healing process was the same to that of any other average human.
It’s also very likely that Jojo meets Zeppeli (and learns that Dio is still alive) about a month/month and a half after the fire at the mansion, as we can see Jojo has mostly recovered by the time they meet, being his arm the only part that seems to have not reached a full recovery yet (broken bones usually take about a month or a little more to fully heal on average). All of this is also supported by the fact that the next time we see Speedwagon, his own injuries (which also included broken bones) are completely healed as well.
This same day that Jojo and Will meet, Jojo becomes a hamon user and heals completely. By this point, it should be around mid-November already.
It’s somewhere around those weeks/month that Jojo was recovering that a now zombified Wang Chen took a heavily injured Dio to London, where they met Jack The Ripper and "recruited" him, before the three went to hide in Windknight’s Lot. It’s also very likely that the three of them began “kidnapping” townspeople from Windknight’s Lot around this time as well, giving Dio plenty of time to heal almost completely by the time we see him again.
Zeppeli begins to train with Jonathan as soon as they meet. The intensive training by the river lasts 2 weeks only.
It’s by the end of the second week of training that Wang Chen shows up and is allowed to escape as a part of Zeppeli's plan. During the last days of the training as well, Speedwagon sets off to gather information from his sources in the crime world about Dio’s possible whereabouts and the group heads out to Windknight’s Lot right away. It's late November already by this point.
It’s also vaguely implied that Jonathan has moved and has been living in London for a bit, and so it takes a whole day for the group to get to Windknight’s Lot (it’s stated that Windknight’s is a day-ride away from London, going to the South).
During the morning of November 30th/December 1st (1888 still), the group reaches the entrance tunnel to Windknight’s Lot.
The reason behind this not having a clear date is because the fight between Jonathan and Dio at the castle takes place on Dec 1st, but it’s possible that it happened either during the first hours of Dec 1st (meaning that the group reached Windknight’s on the morning of Nov 30th and that the fight against Dio took place after midnight), or that they arrived to Windknight’s on the morning of Dec 1st and that the fight took place around the late part of the day and before Dec 1st’s midnight. Either way, most of the events we see in this arc (the encounter with Poco, the battles against Bruford and Tarkus, Zeppeli’s death, the arrival of the monks from Tibet, the encounters with Dio and so on), all of them happen in less than 24 hours, as pointed out by Speedwagon to Poco by the end of the final battle at Dio’s castle, as Spw cradles and takes care of an exhausted Jonathan, but let’s break it down a little:
The group is intercepted in the tunnel by Jack The Ripper at some point in the morning, shortly after the group’s arrival.
The fight against Jack The Ripper probably takes at the very least about an hour or so. Then add whatever time it took Jonathan to continue training and also heal his and Speedwagon’s wounds from the fight (Zeppeli and Speedwagon were hostile towards each other by this point, plus Jona was still training his hamon in every way he could, so it’s a given that Jojo healed Speedwagon). Also add the time it took them to get out of the tunnel by foot and finally reach the actual town.
By the time we meet Poco, the sun is about to set. Nights are particularly long in England during Autumn/Winter, with the Sun starting to set around 4pm, so that could more or less be an estimate of the time of the day here at this point.
By the time the group crosses the lake and Dio finally shows up it’s dark already. He then ‘awakens’ Bruford and Tarkus. Bruford is defeated after what it’s assumed to have been a long fight, however, Tarkus manages to strike the first loss for the Joestar group...
There’s no date set in stone (as it could be either Nov 30th or Dec 1st as stated before) but, on this same day, Will Zeppeli dies.
Just hours later, after the also long chase and battle against Tarkus, on the same day too, Dire also dies. A trivia of sorts that no one mentions is how Zeppeli and Dire were close friends for more than two decades and how they coincidentally shared a similar fate, dying a cruel death and on the same day, just a few hours apart from each other.
Also, December 1st, 1888: Dio is defeated and assumed dead.
The official report of the missing persons in Windknight’s is dated December 1st, although it is documented and made public until December 4th.
By December 15th, over two weeks after Dio's "death", we are told that Jonathan, Speedwagon, Straizo and Tonpety haven’t left Windknight’s Lot yet. This is also the day when the stone mask that the Joestars kept in their home for years was finally destroyed. There is no official date set for the group’s return to London, but it could be assumed they left Windknight’s in the following days after this.
December, 1888 (no specific day set): Lisa Lisa was born.
February 2nd, 1889, Jonathan and Erina get married.
The scene at the docks, when everyone comes to say their goodbyes to the newlyweds as they prepare for their honeymoon, takes place on February 3rd.
The last days of peace after the battle in Windkight’s Lot go by, during the cruise (Feb 3rd to Feb 7th). Then, that day, Dio strikes again and...
February 7th, Jonathan Joestar dies.
Also Feb 7th, both of Lisa Lisa’s biological parents die along with almost every other passenger on the cruise.
On February 9th, after two days in the open sea, Erina and the baby are rescued in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is unclear when she got back to England, though, but it most likely happened days later, shortly after a brief stay at a local hospital to make sure the baby and her were in good condition to be sent back home.
And that’s pretty much it as far as PB goes! After this point (and before Part 2 takes place), we can also add:
May 22nd, 1889, the group photo that we see later on of Straizo, Speedwagon, baby Lisa Lisa, and Erina got taken on this date.
1889 -no day/month specified-, George Joestar II is born (around the second half of the year).
There’s no specific date/year set, but according to the Jojo Magazine, Speedwagon travels to America in the early 20th century (somewhere between 1900 and 1905-ish, most likely) where he finds oil in the Texas desert and creates his oil company.
1910, using the financial power and wealth amassed through his oil company, the Speedwagon Foundation is created.
Stuff from this point and on falls under the Battle Tendency timeline, so I’m leaving it here.
Please let me know if you notice any mistakes at any point or if you see I missed something so I can add or fix stuff accordingly. I re-read this whole thing god-knows-how-many-times but its still possible I missed some stuff!

Jojo is peak words words words words words words punchline!!! There is no writing whatsoever. I started rewatching phantom blood and shit just happens! Jonathan would not be a real person and oh my god GEORGE joestar would DEFINITELY not be a real person. Erina is a PLOT DEVICE.
There is only one character in phantom blood that acts due to any semblance of actual writing and unfortunately he is a complete sociopath!!!
In the first few minutes of phantom blood I feel like anyone would watch it and think, oh, Dio must be the main character, he's got so much going on, he has clear motives and pathos, he's interesting, the scenes make you feel for him... and then he snaps and kicks the dog. At this point, probably my 6th or 7th rewatch, it's almost comical how strongly he is immediately established as the villain. And even that makes more potential sense versus the way everyone else acts ala wei wuxian style potential street dog trauma! But then of course he's like "by the way I'm not scared of dogs I just think they are disgusting"
So much of what dio does can be interpreted to have a reason due to things like trauma- but that's not to say that dio as jojo actually presents him is anything but an insane homicidal maniac. But with interpretation you can read behind the lines of non-writing jojo has to extrapolate- dio establishes himself immediately in the pecking order of the joestar household so that he can never be the bottom dog in this new and unfamiliar place. He applies all the bitter rules he learned in the streets to the joestar household but that too reads as an inappropriate coping mechanism an abused and traumatized child would use.
His poisoning of george can be read as him never having been able to reconcile a "gentle and indulgent father figure" with what he already knows from dario, so he deals with this unpredictable and foolish target the only way he has learned -common for clever and quick children like dio- to manipulate and ultimately neutralize him, even in the exact same way. He did not have to do that! It's evident in the way that george treats him even post timeskip, like his own son, that dio would've had a stable situation at the joestar household, allowed to follow his ambitions.
But that's not what dio would know. Due to his upbringing he is not able to see it as a stable situation- rather, any situation he is in is one that he must stay on top of lest his face gets pushed in the muck, lest he goes the way of his mother. I reiterate- dio's actions and motivations are more understandable than anyone else's in phantom blood and therefore he is also more compelling than anyone else in phantom blood.

SOURCES AND SIGNIFICANCE : BLOG POST #2
During the session that took place on 18th October, we discussed and analysed the several aspects of narrative.
We were asked to group up and pick few of those aspects and then analyse it relevant to the media object of our interest.
I ended up picking the JoJo's Bizarre Adventures Part 1 : Phantom Blood (2012) Anime
Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS:
Dio Brando is adopted by George Joestar in order to pay back a debt to Dio's deceased father Dario. Dio tries to eliminate Jonathan Joestar, the son of George Joestar to become the only heir to the Joestar riches. but after failing time and time again, he turns to an ancient Stone Mask, which turns him into a vampire with an eye towards a much drastic goal, world domination.
TRADITIONAL NARRATIVE:
This anime pretty much fulfill's every criteria for it to qualify as a traditional narrative. it has a linear causation with no extra straws and a very clear narrative closure.
Beginning : Dio arrives to the Joestar mansion after George Joestar agrees to adopt him in order to repay a debt to Dio's dead father. Dio takes advantage of the privilege and starts bullying Jonathan Joestar and tries to take everything from him and replace him as the only hier to the Joestars. After a point, Jonathan fights back against Dio and ends up beating him to a pulp. Dio's blood spills on the stone mask, which activates it and ends up drawing itself towards Dio until he wears it and turns into a vampire
Middle: Dio tries to kill Jonathan but George ends up sacrificing himself in order to save his true son. Jonathan escapes the mansion with nothing but anger and sadness in his heart. Jonathan runs into Will.A.Zeppeli who heals Jonathan's wounds with a Supernatural ability called "Hamon". Jonathan asks Will to teach him the ability in order for him to defeat Dio for good.
End: After a good while of training, Jonathan goes back to the mansion and fights dio to death. Jonathan gets fatally wounded but he manages to defeat dio in the end and stops him from being a threat to the world and marries his girlfriend erina. although the next parts are about Jonathan's descendants, i would say that jonathan's story is fully explored and comes to an end in part 1.
VLADIMIR PROPP'S 8 CHARACTER TYPES :
The Hero : Jonathan Joestar
The False Villain : Robert.E.Speedwagon
The Villain : Dio Brando
The Princess : Erina
The Doner : George Joestar
The Helper: Will.E.Zeppeli
The Father: George Joestar
BINARY OPPOSITION:
The main conflict in this story is a classic "good vs evil" clash between Jonathan and Dio, and its made clear since the very first episode. It can also be considered as a battle between humble and arrogant, wise and greedy etc.
Despite the downfalls faced by the protagonist, he still emerges stronger and victorious, and saves the day.
CONCLUSION:
Despite being a simple and a cliche concept, this anime ended up impressing me alot in terms of the screenplay that kept me hooked throughout and left me wanting for more. it also had a very unique and simple style of art which i thought was an interesting approach. the characters were also written so well that i got attached to them and cared for them when the entire part itself was only for 8 episodes.

Ahh… You’re Dio Brando, right?
Dio
And you must be Jonathan Joestar.
Jonathan
Everyone calls me Jojo. Nice to meet you.
[Action: Danny approaches Jonathan and Dio.]
Jonathan
Ah… Danny!
See him? That’s Danny. He’s my dog.
Don’t worry. He doesn’t bite.
Dio
Hmph…
[Action: As Danny begins running toward Jonathan and Dio, Dio kicks Danny in the face. Jonathan prepares to fight Dio.]
Jonathan
Wh-What was that for?! You’ll pay for that!
Dio
(Thoughts) So this is the Joestar heir.
Jonathan
Ngh…
Dio
(Thoughts) He looks like a pampered brat. We’ll see who has it all after I’m through with him.
George
What’s the matter?
Jonathan
Ah…
George
What’s going on here?
Dio
I’m sorry. The dog jumped at me. It was a reflex.
Jonathan
Huh…?
Dio
Hmph…
[Scene: In the Joestar residence. George welcomes Dio inside.]
George
Welcome, Dio. You are part of our family now.
Everyone, I owe my life to this man’s father. Treat him as you would Jojo.
Butler
Yes, lord.
George
Dio, this is your home now. Live like Jojo does.
Dio
Thank you for your hospitality, Sir Joestar.
George
You’ve both lost your mothers and you’re the same age. You should get along well.
Jojo, forget about Danny, all right?
Jonathan
Yes, Dad. I’m sure I’d be surprised if a strange dog jumped at me, so I understand.
(Thoughts) I do wish he’d apologize. But we’ll be living together, so I have to be nice.
George
This way, Dio. I’ll show you to your room.
Dio
Yes, sir.
[Action: George and Dio head upstairs. Dio sees the stone mask on the wall.]
Dio
Hm?
[Action: Jonathan reaches for Dio’s case.]
Dio
Ah…
[Action: Dio grabs Jonathan’s wrist.]
Jonathan
Ah… Ahh! Gah…
Dio
What are you doing? No one touches my bags!
Jonathan
Huh?
Dio
Keep your dirty paws to yourself! Got it?!
Jonathan
I was trying to help!
Dio
No thanks!
[Action: Dio elbows Jonathan in the chest.]
Jonathan
Ahh!
Dio
I’ll have a servant carry them.
[Action: Dio pinches Jonathan’s ear.]
Dio
Listen closely, Jojo.
Jonathan
Ah…
Dio
I might be your guest, but I won’t take any lip from you.
I always come first. I’m number one! No one looks down their nose at me!
Jonathan
But I just want to be friends!
Dio
And another thing: I hate dogs. They don’t scare me. I just can’t stand their bootlicking!
So keep that dumb mutt Danny away from me.
George
What’s keeping you two? Hurry along.
Dio
Yes, sir!
[Action: Dio heads upstairs.]
Jonathan
Ah…
Narrator
With Dio’s arrival, Jojo’s happy life spiraled into misery.
[Scene: Some days later. George is teaching Jonathan and Dio. He smacks Jonathan on the hand.]
Jonathan
Gah!
George
That’s another mistake, Jojo!
Look at Dio! 20 out of 20 correct!
[Scene: At dinner. Jonathan eats without manners and spills his glass.]
Jonathan
Ah…
George
Jojo! You call yourself a gentleman?! Where are your manners?!
[Action: George snaps his fingers.]
George
Clear Jojo’s place.
Jonathan
Huh?
George
No dinner for you.
Looking at Dio, I see I’ve spoiled you. I’ve been a shameful father!
Dio’s manners are impeccable!
Jonathan
Ngh…
[Action: Jonathan gets up from his chair and runs off.]
Jonathan
Ngh… Urgh!
Dio
Hmph… What an oaf.
[Scene: Some time later, at a local boxing match. Jonathan is preparing to fight.]
Announcer
In this corner is Jonathan Joestar!
[Action: The crowd of boys cheers.]
Announcer
He’s looking stronger lately!
And his opponent… has been changed.
Jonathan
Huh?
Announcer
All we know is his name! He’s the new guy in town!
[Action: Jonathan sees Dio preparing his equipment.]
Jonathan
(Thoughts) It can’t be…!
Announcer
Introducing Dio Brando!
You know the rules. One hit to the face wins it. Begin!
Jonathan
Ngh…
Boys
Get him, Jojo!
Take him down!
Jonathan
Urahh!
[Action: Jonathan throws a punch at Dio but misses.]
Jonathan
Ahh! Ngh…
[Action: Jonathan continues throwing punches, but they continue to miss.]
Boys
Look at those moves!
I’ve never seen moves like that before!
Jonathan
(Thoughts) I can’t connect!
Dio
(Thoughts) Jojo is better than I had expected. But…
[Action: Dio punches Jonathan in the stomach.]
Jonathan
Ugh!
Dio
(Thoughts) I’ll show him how we do it in the bad part of town, Booth Boxing style!
(Thoughts) Eat this!
[Action: Dio punches Jonathan in the face.]
Jonathan
Gah!
Announcer
There it is! Jojo is out!
Dio
(Thoughts) It’s not over yet, Jojo!
(Thoughts) I’ll jam my thumb in his eye and follow through!
[Action: Dio digs his finger into the area near Jonathan’s eye.]
Jonathan
Gah!
Ngh…
[Action: Jonathan falls to the ground. The boys cheer.]
Boys
Amazing! That guy is amazing!
Dio!!
Dio, that was amazing!
How did you do that?
Dio
It’s just a new defensive technique in boxing. I’ll teach it to you guys as a favor.
Boy
Really?
Dio
But don’t teach it to Jojo. He can’t keep a secret.
Jonathan
Ngh…
Boys
He can’t?
I didn’t know that.
Jonathan
Why? Why do that on purpose?
Dio
(Thoughts) Fufufu… Loneliness will make a man hollow. I’ll turn Jojo into an empty husk!
(Thoughts) Bit by bit, I’ll steal his life. When I’m an adult, he’ll have nothing!
[Scene: Some days later. Jonathan sits in a tree.]
Jonathan
Damn that Dio!
This is awful. It’s like he’s taking over my life.
Boy
Hey! Get a move on!
[Action: Jonathan notices some of his friends walking by.]
Jonathan
Ah…
Hey! What are you doing? Come here! Let me join in on the fun!
Boys
Huh?
Hey, did you hear something?
Ignore it. It’s just a snitch.
Jonathan
What did you say?!
Come back here! Who’s a snitch?!
[Action: Jonathan gets down from the tree and begins running toward his former friends.]
Boys
Ah…
Let’s split.
You’re a snitch, Jojo! You’ll blab to anyone over anything!
Squealer!
[Action: The boys run off.]
Jonathan
Hold on! Get back here! I never squealed on anybody!
Boys
Jojo the squealer!
Jonathan
Ngh… Dio! Dio did this!
He’s spreading wild rumors about me! He’s trying to destroy me for some reason!
Curse you, Dio!
[Action: Jonathan begins punching the air.]
Jonathan
Dio! Dio! Dio! Dio!!
[Action: Jonathan rolls down the hill in anger.]
Jonathan
Ever since he showed up, everyone’s turned on me!
Danny, you’ll be my friend no matter what Dio does.
[Action: Erina steps on a branch nearby.]
Jonathan
Ah…
Erina
Ahh…
Jonathan
Huh?
[Action: Erina leaves a basket of grapes on a tree branch and runs off.]
Erina
Ngh…
Jonathan
Who was that?
I feel like I’ve seen her before.
[Action: Jonathan takes the basket down from the tree.]
Jonathan
Ah… My handkerchief!
I see! Thanks for the grapes!
Hey, I’ll be here tomorrow! Come see me!
[Action: Jonathan sits down against the tree.]
Jonathan
Hehehe… She went off without a word. Girls are so cute!
[Scene: Sometime later. Jojo and Erina ride a cart at a fair together.]
Erina
Ahh!
Jonathan, Erina
Hahaha!
Narrator
Love! In that dark time, Jonathan’s heart was spurred on by love.
They quickly became friends, and Jonathan was enchanted by her.
[Action: Jonathan and Erina play in a river together.]
Erina
Hahahaha!
Jonathan
(Thoughts) Erina… Erina Pendleton. She’s an angel!
[Action: Jonathan carves a heart with his and Erina’s names into a tree trunk.]
Jonathan
Ngh…
Erina
What are you doing, Jojo?
Jojo! You can’t do that! You’re no good!
Jonathan
Hehe…
[Scene: In the evening. Jonathan and Erina part ways as Dio waits behind a tree nearby.]
Jonathan
See you! Bye-bye!
Dio
Hmph…
Erina
Fufu…
[Action: Dio comes out from behind the tree and confronts Erina with her bullies from earlier.]
Erina
Ah…
Dio
Hi. Are you Erina?
You and Jojo…
Bullies
Fufufu…
Dio
… look happy together.
Erina
Ah…
Dio
I knew something was wrong.
He’s been happy when he should be miserable. You’re the reason why.
Erina
Ah!
[Action: Erina turns to run, but Dio grabs her arm.]
Erina
Ah… Ahh!
[Action: Dio forcefully kisses Erina.]
Erina
Ah…
Bullies
H-He did it!
Erina
Ngh… Ngh…!
[Action: Erina tears at Dio’s clothes.]
Bully 1
That’s our Dio! He’s got way more guts than we do!
He’s my idol! I want to be him!
[Action: Erina falls into a puddle.]
Erina
Ngh…
Dio
Have you and Jojo kissed yet? Not yet, huh?
Your first kiss was not with him! It was with me!
Erina
Ah!
Dio
(Thoughts) Even if I stole it, the fact that I kissed her is enough!
(Thoughts) Their little romance is over!
(Thoughts) He won’t have a single friend or lover!
[Action: Erina begins washing her face with the puddle water.]
Bully 1
Ahh! L-Look! Wh-What is she doing?!
Dio
Ah…
Bully 1
What is she thinking?!
Bully 2
She’s washing with puddle water!
Bully 1
Is she nuts? There’s a stream nearby!
Dio
Y-You wench!
You’re just doing that to insult me!
[Action: Dio slaps Erina across the face.]
Erina
Ugh!
Dio
Ngh… Grr…
(Thoughts) Damn it! Dio, you fool! Don’t lose your head over a dumb girl!
We’re done here! Let’s go.
Bullies
Ahh…
[Scene: Some days later. Jonathan walks through town and sees Erina.]
Jonathan
Ah… Hey, Erina!
Erina
Ah… Ngh…
[Action: Erina begins to cry as Jonathan approaches her.]
Jonathan
Ah…
Erina
Ngh…!
[Action: Erina turns and runs.]
Jonathan
Ahh!
E-Erina, wait!
(Thoughts) This isn’t right. What happened?
Bullies
Hehehehe…
Jonathan
Ah…!
Bully 1
Look at that sorry look on his face! Hehehe…
Boy
Hey, go tell him why she ran away!
Bully 1
But I just couldn’t bear to see Jojo cry!
Boys
Hahahaha!
Jonathan
You… What… What did you do to her?!
[Scene: At the Joestar residence. Jonathan storms into the house.]
Jonathan
Urahhh!!
Dio~!!
[Action: Dio gets up from a chair.]
Dio
I wouldn’t use my name lightly if I were you.
Jonathan
This ends now! I won’t let you hurt her again! Your fight is with me!
Dio
Oh? So you heard about your darling Erina?
Now you want to take revenge with your fists, huh?
Jonathan
I won’t let you insult her!
[Action: Jonathan punches, but Dio blocks it.]
Dio
You’re just twisted by jealousy!
[Action: Dio elbows Jonathan in the face.]
Jonathan
Gah!
Dio
You want more of what happened when we boxed?!
Jonathan
Gah…!
[Action: Jonathan stumbles backward.]
Jonathan
Ahh…
(Thoughts) I-I can’t beat him. But… if I lose here, I’ll have to spend my life cowering in Dio’s shadow. But most of all, I have to fight for Erina’s honor!
[Action: Dio tosses off his jacket.]
Dio
(Thoughts) I’m going to pulverize him. And I’ll do it fair and square.
(Thoughts) That way, he’ll know beyond a doubt that he can never beat me. Not in a fight, and not in life!
[Action: Jonathan charges at Dio.]
Jonathan
Urahhh!!
Dio
Come at me!
Jonathan
Urahh!!
[Action: Jonathan punches, and Dio blocks the attack. Dio kicks Jonathan in the side.]
Jonathan
Ugh!
Dio
(Thoughts) That’s it! That felt good!
[Action: Jonathan grabs Dio.]
Jonathan
Urgh!
Dio
This guy… How could he grab me after that kick?!
How about some more?!
[Action: Jonathan headbutts Dio in the face.]
Dio
Urk… Gahh…
[Action: Jonathan starts beating Dio.]
Jonathan
Dio~!!
Dio
(Thoughts) How…
Jonathan
I’m going to beat you until you cry!
Dio
(Thoughts) How could trash like him beat me?!
Jonathan
Urahh!
Dio
Ahhh!!
[Action: Dio’s blood splashes onto the stone mask. Dio falls to the ground.]
Dio
Gah… Ah…
[Action: The stone mask falls to the ground with spikes around its edges.]
Jonathan
Ahh… Ah…
Dio
Y-You… You… You… You have a lot of nerve, don’t you?!
Jonathan
H-He’s crying…
Dio
You filthy cur!
[Action: Dio draws a knife. George calls out to Jonathan and Dio from upstairs.]
George
What’s going on, you two?!
[Action: Dio hides his knife.]
Jonathan
Dad!
[Action: The spikes from the stone mask withdraw.]
George
Boys fight. That can’t be helped!
But Jojo, you were beating Dio while he was down and unable to defend himself!
Jonathan
Ah…
George
That’s not civil!
Jonathan
You’re wrong!
George
No excuses! To your rooms, both of you!
Jonathan
Ngh…
George
You’ll both be punished later!
Dio
Ngh…
Jonathan
Grr…
[Scene: Some days later. A butler throws some leaves into the incinerator. He notices a wooden box inside.]
Butler
Ngh… Oh? What’s that box?
Oh, well. I bet a maid threw it away.
[Action: The butler lights a cigarette and the incinerator. As he walks away, he hears a noise coming from the incinerator.]
Butler
Huh?
Wh-What’s that?
Something’s banging around. Is someone in there?!
N-No! They’re burning alive in there!
[Scene: In the evening. Jonathan hides behind a tree as Erina walks past.]
Jonathan
Erina…
Damn that Dio! This is what you were aiming for! Well, you got what you wanted!
[Scene: At the Joestar residence. Jonathan comes home to find Danny buried.]
George
The sight of him was too much to bear, so we buried him quickly.
The police say a burglar probably wanted Danny out of the way.
Jonathan
Dio…
Butler
Dio? He hasn’t returned from school yet.
Narrator
Jojo went to his room and slept for two hours.
After he woke, he thought about Danny, the companion he had lost, and cried.
[Scene: In town. Dio contemplates by himself.]
Dio
(Thoughts) I evened the score by killing that mutt, but I had no idea Jojo was so strong.
(Thoughts) The more you beat him, the tougher he gets.
(Thoughts) My anger makes me vulnerable. I have to fix that. I must learn to cool my temper!
Narrator
Seven years passed…
Interesting.

Mrs Brando Lore Drop
so uh ive been brainstorming for this for hours with @apollodoesthings and here is a very rough outline of the lil past she has in my head <3 under the cut bc it def is long
First, canon info:
Dario born in 1827
Dio is born in 1867, when Dario was 40
In 1880, Dario dies at the age of 53
Dio gets adoped by the Joestars in 1881 at 13/14
Most of the events of Phantom Blood post the initial ones take place in 1888
After the carriage crash, which takes place in 1868, George Joestar gives Dario money to start a hotel/bar (different in the official Viz translations and fan ones), which fails (he specifies his wife dies after the business fails)
The wiki states Dio's mom's death at 1867-1880
Dario presumably gets rid of his wife's dress in exchange for booze in around the time that Dio begins poisoning him (presumably 1879/1880, depending on just how slow acting the poison was)
Dio states his father worked his mother to death in the same scene (ch 7)
In terms of Over Heaven, it goes into a bit more detail on how Dio's mom acted and how she and Dario's relationship went. It's not considered canon but it's definitely an interesting read to see how exactly someone interprets it.
Now for the stuff I'm doing to fill in the gaps between these events and actually add some depth to Mrs. Brando:
She gets a name (Margaret, one of the popular names in the 1840s)
She was born in 1844 and died in 1877, when Dio was 10 years old
She had 2 sisters, both younger than her
Margaret had a rich family growing up (something that I pulled from Over Heaven, because you see Dio reading, and the education system was very expensive (past the age of ten the school options were fairly expensive), but I would imagine that she taught him how to read
She met Dario at a local bar when she was in her early 20s, and they fell in love almost immediately. When she told her parents, they practically disowned her, but she was convinced that things would work out and Dario would eventually be successful in his dreams of running a business
Early on, marriage was pretty calm and good
When she had Dio, the midwife there helping her out took such good care of her that they stayed in contact for years after Dio was born
When Dio was 1, the affairs began, as Dario was taking a woman he met at a bar to the carriage crash while Margaret was at home with their son
Despite Dario's dream for his life being to run a hotel/bar, and even with the generous money from George, the business went under 3 weeks after it was first opened
Margaret worked herself to the bone working there and trying to keep it afloat, but nothing worked
She began working in a nearby factory to keep the family afloat, as Dario practically refused to work or would just do schemes that landed him in jail
All this time, she and her midwife (Ann) had stayed in correspondence by way of letters and met up the day after Margaret had discovered the affair by way of practically walking in on Dario and his fling
Margaret was obviously very very distraught over this and needed a shoulder to cry on (and a hand to hold), so Ann was there for her as their romance slowly blossomed into a romance
They have several years of bliss, where Margaret balanced long days at work with raising Dio and having someone there to help on the nights that Dario was away either committing crimes or with someone else
One night, Dario comes home early, and Ann is there while Dio is asleep. Obviously, there is NO reason for his wife's midwife to be there so he assumes something is happening (it is) and drags Margaret outside and stabs her to death
Ann obviously realizes something is up and witnesses the whole thing from her spot at the window
The next day, Dario tells Dio that his mom had an accident at the factory, causing Dio to believe she had worked herself to death

No but see the tragedy of Youth With Dio was that George Joestar accepted Dio for who he was, but always wanted his own flesh and blood to be something more and better. Of course most of Dio's behavior was a front, but George never asked him to put it on, nor assumed he would. George knew who Dario Brando was. He knew where Dio Brando came from. He wouldn't have rapped Dio across the knuckles for going on about cocks and bollocks, but he would - and did - his own son.

Rey Skywalker: How Disney Fumbled a Protag-Antag Shared Heritage Line and How To Fix It
Let me start this off by saying I will contrasting Rey Skywalker’s Mixed Lineage with Giorno Giovanna because Giorno has this same thing but done right.
Done so right in fact that the entire JJBA fandom acknowledges that Giorno is a Brando and a Joestar but love him for it and consider him equally both.
Let me give quick backstory, this is aimed at Star Wars fans so I won’t explain Rey’s life.
In the late 1800s, Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando started living with each other because Dario Brando died and George Joestar felt indebted to Dario (this is extremely condensed it ain’t that simple).
Things escalate. Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando that get into a real eternal feud. George dies. Dio Brando becomes an vampire. And the Joestar curse happens. Dio’s head is chopped off but he ain’t dead and in the end, he kills Jonathan, takes Jonathan’s body and does dormant until the 1980s
In the 1980s, Dio comes back, has a bunch of sex and tries to wipe the Joestar’s out. He’s defeated for real though by Jotaro Kujoh because Dio tried to kill Holly Kujoh.
Dio dies but he has a son (one of many, dude got tf around) and we follow this son in Vento Aureo. Giorno Giovanna is the son of Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando. The main big bad, fucked everything up for everybody villain of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
An interesting thing about how Giorno is handled is that he doesn’t “war” with the Brando side of him.
As far as acknowledging family lines, Giorno doesn’t know that Jonathan is even his father. He doesn’t even know Dio (for obvious reasons), but he knows Dio is his father. Giorno Giovanna has zero connection to either of his fathers.
Giorno’s Brando side is never treated as some darkside he has to fight against or be evil or whatever.
He gets his cunning and ambition from Dio Brando, but he gets his caring nature and sense of justice from Jonathan. He’s a perfect blend and everybody loves him. No jojo fan takes his Brando card or Joestar card from him.
Never once is the audience made to pick between Giorno being a Brando or being a Joestar. He’s both. And we love him for it.
Giorno’s existence doesn’t take away from the Joestar Bloodline because the evil bad Dio Brando is in it, nah, like we love that shit.
Hell, most people consider Dio to be his father but never say he shouldn’t be apart of the Jojo family line. Dio may be Giorno’s dad, but Giorno is a Joestar.
Where did they fuck up with Rey?
They fucked up by making Rey’s Palpatine relation be something she fights against.
By making the Palpatine bloodline be something that’s evil and bad about her, something she has to fight, they alienate her from the Skywalker’s.
When you’re handling a character who is from the villain side but related to the villain but also family with the heroes, you should NEVER use that antag heritage as some internal struggle.
Why?
Because it makes the audience weary of them. Like should we fuck with you or not? We don’t know because the writers are like “ooo what if their antag bloodline comes out and they do something evil uwu”
By making Rey’s Palpatine side be viewed as an weakness and not a strength—a gift that means she can do what other Skywalker’s can’t—they make her seem less like a Skywalker.
In Vento Aureo, there’s a 7 page “muda”, that’s dio’s shtick. Giorno also screams “wry” which is Dio’s lil thing he did.
No one in the audience is horrified or shocked by this. It isn’t spun to us by Araki as bad. Quite the opposite. We love this dawg. Hell yeah, slay king.
This is the Joestar’s justice being outlined by Dio’s signifiers as Giorno kills a terrible person who has hurt countless, innocent people.
It’s such a beautiful thing to see Giorno act righteously like Jonathan would, but he uses words and sounds we associate with Dio.
They could have done this with Rey. Make her act out righteously for good but use the things we associate with Sidious.
Take that side back and show us that it doesn’t make Rey a worse person, it makes her a better Skywalker because she can use Sidious’ nature in a way that helps people.
They don’t do this. They make Rey’s Palpatine lineage some battle she has to have with herself. By doing this, they make her feel like an outlier and not a Skywalker.
This isn’t good writing. Make Rey have a different internal struggle than some bad evil Palpatine blood because that separates her.
Hell, Giorno has struggles too but none of them are linked to being a Joestar or Brando
How to Fix This
Immediately drop all pretense that the Palpatine side of Rey is some flaw. Instead, make them something acknowledged but never seen as bad.
Giorno’s Joestar side never replaces his Brando side. He’s both. He’s a Joestar but that doesn’t make him less of a Brando. Because of this, we see him as a Joestar because he has the heart of a Joestar.
Make Rey have the heart of Skywalker but still use things we associate with Sidious.
Like let her use Force electricity against an evil darkside user or something.
Let her use the Palpatine ambitions, intelligence and everything out to make her a better Skywalker.
The minute they stop acting like her Palpatine side is something that makes her imperfect or “darkside leaning” and instead is something that makes her a better Skywalker because she has that heart in her, they’ll have won.
Take that shit back and show people that this shit is her strengths. It’s not a bad thing that she a Palpatine too, it perfectly fine and doesn’t subtract from her Skywalker heart

Miraculous Ladybug x Jojo’s bizarre adventure salt prompt
Warning: English is not my first language so sorry if it’s confusing!
Warning 2: This prompt content a LOT of salt don’t like don’t read!
P.S.: You can use this prompt if you want just credite and tag me in return please! :)
I recently got into the Jojo fandom aaannndd this give me an idea for a Miraculous Ladybug salt prompt with the “Marinette transfer to another school” and the “highschool AU” tropes and with an Marinette/Giorno ship! ^^
UPDATE: New prompt detail about Giorno’s family name.
UPDATE 2: Made a little modification in Johnny's backstory.
--------------------------------
-Before we begin here’s some precisions about this prompt:
-Jojo’s universe take place at the same time than Miraculous Ladybug.
-Althrough this is a Highschool AU for the Jojo characters, they’re still got their stands and powers.
-This prompt also follow the “Everybody lives/nobody die” trope so expect a lot of Jojo characters to be in it.
-The Jojos are siblings/cousins: Jonathan, Joseph and Josuke are half brothers, Jotaro is a cousin from Japan and Johnny is a cousin from america:
-Joseph is born from a short relationship between George Joestar and Elisabeth, also know as “Lisa-Lisa”. The relationship happened years after Mary Joestar’s death when Jonathan was a baby, unfortunatly the relationship didn’t last and when Joseph was born, Lisa-Lisa give him to George, the young woman not being able to raise him due to her “agitated” life style. Joseph meet Lisa-Lisa years later and after a long talk he forgived her and allowed her to be a part of his life.
-Josuke is born from a one night stand between George Joestar and Tomoko Higashikata during a business trip in Japan.
-Jotaro is the son of George Joestar’s youngest sister, Holly Joestar, and Sadao Kujo, a japanese musician.
-Johnny is the son of a brother of George Joestar, he lived in America with his father and his older brother, Nicholas. His relationship with his father wasn’t the best as the latter always compared Johnny to Nicholas and after Nicholas’s tragic accident their relationship got bad to the point Johnny’s father diswoned him and kicked him out when he was 14. He lived on his own for a year until the day he got in a fight during which he end up getting shot and finished paralized. When Jonathan learn about Johnny’s situation, he decide to become Johnny’s legal guardian and took him to come live with him and his family in Britain.(Jonathan and the rest of the Joestar family in Britain didn’t know about Johnny being disowned and kicked out ‘cause his father made sure to keep it a secret for a long time).
-Dio and Diego Brando are half brothers and both are adopted by the Joestar:
-Dio was adopted by the Joestar when he was 12 after having been abandonned by his father.
-Diego is born from a one night stand between Dario Brando and a random woman after years he abandonned Dio, after the one night stand Dario goes MIA and was found dead one year later due to alcohol poisoning. Diego’s mother died when he was 5 and the little boy lived in the streets until the Joestar learn about his existence, was found by them and adopted when he was 10, he got a very complicated relationship with Johnny.
-Jolyne is Jotaro’s daughter with an americain woman.
-Giorno is Dio’s son from a one night stand he had at 17 with a japanese woman named Tetsuko Shiobana, Dio didn’t know about him until the boy’s mother’s and step-father’s death when he was 5. He get custody of him.
-During his youth, Dio got some others one night stands which result in the birth of three other boys, Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo, who he got custody as soon as he learn about their existence and bad home life.
-The Speedwagon Foundation created in Japan a boarding school, the Speedwagon Academy, for stand users and other supernatural people to help them to had a better unerstanding/control of their capacities, normal students also attend the school. All the young Joestar/Brando with a stand are students at the school
-The Pillar Men awake from their slumber much later than in the canon, the Speedwagon Foundation was able to nagociate with them to help them to find the red stone of Aja and to help them to use it to make them able to walk in day without the risk to be killed by the sunlight in exchange of the Pillar Men leaving humanity in peace. Wamuu and Santana were still children when they were awaken with Kars and Esidisi, by so, in human age they’re the same age than Joseph and Caesar and both are students at Speedwagon Academy.
-Diavolo was took care off a few years ago by the SWF strongest stand users but a wierd “mcguffin” event made him and Doppio separated and due to the trauma of realizing him and “bossu” were the same person, Doppio’s mind made him believe he was Diavolo’s hidden son to stay sane and everyone agreed to go along with it. He work at Speedwagon Academy’s library so like this the Foundation can keep a eye on him and is presented as “Trish’s big brother”.

Now let’s get to the prompt:
So Marinette’s life became hardest than before ever since she become the guardian: the akumas are getting more and more hard to fight day by day, she still got no idea about Hawkmoth’s identity and Lila make her life at school a living hell.
The liar keep her promise and with her lies turned Marinette’s class against her, she begin little by little and with time she managed to make the class believe that Marinette was a bully worst than Chloe.
At first, it was silent treatment, angry glares and verbal confrontations but then it turned into insults, “accidental” tripping, vandalism of Marinette’s things, accusations of stealing,in the end Bustier’s class end up to outright bullying Marinette thinking they were doing justice to Lila. And despite everything happening right under her nose, Bustier don’t do a thing to stop it only telling Marinette to be “an example” and “the biggest person”.
But not everyone in school was okay with the situation, in fact, the others students were getting fed up with the akuma class’s behavior toward Marinette and their cultish behavior toward Lila.
Quickly tensions between the class and the rest of the school rised, Bustier’s class becoming from the “Akuma class” to the “cult class” resulting into a conflict, the “cult class” even blaming Marinette, accusing her of being the leader of all this.
The class reported Marinette to Damoclès, telling him she’s responsible of the last bad mood in school and turned the whole school against Lila and Damoclès, being the fool he is, listened them and once again expelled Marinette.
To Marinette it was the straw which broke the camel’s back and all her frustrations, all the anxiety she botled up for a long time explode making her having a bad mental breakdown, bad to the point of attracting a akuma.
But instead of getting akumatised Marinette resisted as much as she can to the point once the akuma finally left her alone, she fainted out of exhaustion and was quickly send to the hospital.
When she awake she noticed the worried faces of her parents who, reliefed to see their daughter awake, explained to her she had been in coma for a few days and during that time someone contacted the school board to warn them about what happened and an investigation was lunched against Françoise-Dupont.
A few days later Marinette was visited by principal Damoclès at the hospital to tell her that the school board decided her expulsion was unjustifiable and declared it null.
He hoped she would be happy and will not press charges against the school.
But Marinette wasn’t happy, she was fed up! Fed up with her class who bullied her and believed everything Lila say without thinking a second! Fed up with Lila enjoying ruining her life! Fed up with the school using her as a scapegoat!
She. was. done!
So as soon she left the hospital, Marinette’s parents withdrawed her from Françoise-Dupont and proceed to search for a new school.
After taking a few exams entrance, Marinette got accepted into Speedwagon Academy, a prestigious boarding school in Japan.
At first worried at the idea to go to a school that far from Paris, Marinette got convinced by Tikki when the kwami remind her that she can use Kaalki to teleport to Paris when a Akuma is attacking.
So after everything is settled, Marinette left Paris for Japan at Speedwagon Academy.
At the school she was welcomed by the headmaster, Jonathan Joestar, at first Marinette was shocked by how tall and buff M. Joestar was, he was even taller and buffer than her father. But Jonathan’s welcoming attitude reassured her and after a tour of the school, Jonathan lead her to the dorms where she was introduced to Trish Una her dormmate.
The two girls quickly get along when Trish learned Marinette loved fashion design.
On her first day at Speedwagon Academy Marinette was shocked about how tall and or buff most of the guys were, heck, she even noticed two 12 graders who were like giants(*cough*Wamuu and Santana*cough*).
She got introduced to her new class and to her new homeroom teacher, Bruno Bucciaratti, and Trish, who was also in her class, introduced her to her friends: Guido Mista, Pannacotta Fugo, Narancia Ghirga and Giorno Giovanna.
With time Marinette found herself very well blended in the school, it was a bizarre school with strangely tall and buff students with weird shenanigans and some having strange ghosts(?) or spirits(?)(honnestly how nobody seemed to notice this?) but in the end she liked how bizarre it was.
But for Marinette this was just the start. Her new life is about to get even more bizarre with the new adventures she’s about to get, and from it will come new meetings, new friends and even the creation of something new and strong with a certain blond boy who love ladybugs.
But her adventures will not be easy with Hawkmoth, the Akumas, the new ennemis she will meet in Japan and with the visit of two classes from her former school for a field trip in Japan and one of the two being her former class, Marinette’s new life will be far from easy.
But thankfully for her Marinette got a bunch of bizarre friends to back her up.

ooh, we're getting into phantom blood lore in the mer au now? neat!
ok so here's my five cents: the mer kingdoms have always had wars and one of their neigboring kingdoms attacks the Joestar kingdom and in the process the other kingdom's queen is killed.
Unwilling to care for his son, who was doted on by his wife, the kingdom's cruel and abusive king, Dario, abandons his son, Dio, who then wanders the ocean by himself, being captured by a sideshow before escaping, enduring mistreatment from mer and human alike, which fuels his hatred for the people of both land and sea. He's eventually adopted by Jonathan's family and his father King George, but at this point all Dio wants is revenge on the Joestar kingdom whom he blames for his mother's death and his miserable life.
Over the years he torments Jonathan, kills his pet harp seal Danny, harrasses Erina and eventually tries to seize power to the throne to conquer the kingdom. He and Jonathan fight and while both are hurt Jonathan is victorious, and with George mortally wounded and dying Jonathan ascends as king and banishes Dio from the kingdom.
So Dio makes a deal with Kars, who's an Ursula-like figure, to give him magical powers that will allow him to exact his vengeance, but at a cost: it will also turn him human, and leave him unable to return to the sea. Dio, filled with hate, gladly rejects his mermanity.
Eventually the war commences, Dio a sort of pirate sorcerer and wages war on both land and sea alike, using his powers to transform human and mer alike into his own personal army of nightmarish beings, and here Speedwagon and Jonathan manage to fend him off. Ultimately, Dio is defeated when Jonathan uses the trident's full power to freeze him in the Arctic, where he is imprisoned in an iceberg. However, his dark magic keeps him alive and from aging even as he is frozen, and the power of the spell seriously injures Jonathan, who is saved inches from death by Erina's Hamon but is hurt badly, leaving him unable to continue his duties.
In the end, Erina, pitying Jonathan, agrees to take the mantle of ruler in his place, seeing how he struggles to carry on despite his injuries. As the second-most powerful Hamon user in the mer kingdom next only to Jonathan in his prime, Jonathan gladly gives her the trident, trusting her to care for his kingdom for him, and swims off to the tropical shallows to get a much deserved retirement.
Erina and Speedwagon, however, are concerned that Dio may return, and though it has been fifty years since, they still dread the possibility...
(Ok I'm sorry I got a bit carried away but these are my thoughts on the au, I hope you enjoy it :) )
••
THIS IS WONDERFUL. I LOVE IT. YES. Also the way Kars plays in makes it even more fluid- cause he’s gonna be causing trouble for Joseph down the line too in some way/shape/form.
I’ve talked about this before, but I think “present day” in this AU would be closer to our present day. I’m thinking the early-mid 2000s. As far as location goes, I’m thinking the Joestar Kingdom’s hub is in the Mediterranean, and Caesar lives on the coast of Italy somewhere.
Tumblr media
Here is a really rough idea I had in mind: 2 major kingdoms rule over the worlds oceans: (actual kingdom names tbd) but the Joestars rule one and the Brandos rule the other. The main split (between the Americas/Africa and Europe) is cut by the Mid-Atlantic Ocean Ridge.
Now, within each kingdom, there are smaller states and such, and depending on where you are, the culture of the mer people will be different- each city has its own ruler, but they all report to the leading ruler, in this case, Erina. The leading ruler lives in the capital; which happens to be the Mediterranean Sea.
Jonathan would reside close to the capital, somewhere in the Red Sea. The other issue that arises is distance, because ideally he would be a day’s trip away, but that wouldn’t be the case if Erina was in the center of the Mediterranean. Oceans are so freakin BIG....
The Joestars control the Arctic waters, while the Brandos control the Antarctic waters. I agree, imagine Dio would be frozen in the Arctic, and he would be constantly guarded in case he were to break free.
Right now I’m kind of in between this setup and a smaller kingdoms across the oceans, cause these two kingdoms are enormous. I might experiment with smaller kingdoms and make more of them.
If you guys have more ideas/suggestions please drop a submission in the ask box! Submissions are always open and you guys’ ideas are always *chef’s kiss*

Anime/Manga: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (Part 1: Phantom Blood)
Characters: Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando
Synopsis: A few days after Jonathan and Dio's big fight in the entrance hall, a few days after the tragic death of Jonathan's beloved dog, Dio finds Jonathan collapsed by the river, beaten and bloody. Seeing this as an opportunity to change his tactics, Dio helps Jonathan make his way back the mansion.
Jonathan reaches a small understanding about Dio.
Note: Originally written for Whumptober of 2020 - Day 10: They Look So Pretty When They Bleed | Trail of Blood
Set during the seven year gap in Phantom Blood. TW for a bit of gaslighting and also referenced child ab*se
It had been a few days since Dio’s fight with Jonathan in the entrance hall. George Joestar never did end up dealing out the punishment he had promised both of them, but that was likely due to the sudden and subsequent death of a certain mutt.
“I know that you two fought recently… Understand that I do not condone JoJo’s actions. To beat a man while he is down is unseemly, and JoJo will be apologizing to you. But as it stands, for now, I must ask that you be gentle with him.”
“I understand, sir.”
Dio scoffed at the memory, continuing his easy walk down the open country pathway. “‘Be gentle.’”
As if gentleness hadn’t been a luxury guaranteed to Jonathan at birth. Dario Brando had still seen it fit to punish Dio when his mother died, and that was for the mere fault of simply existing. JoJo might think his father hard on him, but George Joestar was nothing but a soft fool, and his son nothing but a pampered brat.
A pampered brat who had still managed to beat Dio to the ground.
Dio felt his jaw clench and his hands tighten in his pockets.
No. Calm down.
Dio forced himself to relax, uncurling his fists and easing his tightened jaw. He had already learned from that fight that he needed to control his temper. And already evened the score by killing JoJo’s stupid mutt. With how disgustingly attached JoJo had been to that thing, that more than made up for any humiliation inflicted, or even any punishments averted as a result.
“What to do now though…?” Dio murmured to himself.
Actively looking to tear JoJo down was now out of the question. Dio had pushed JoJo to his limits, and instead of snapping in two, JoJo had snapped back. Dio needed to change tactics. Endearing himself to the other boy, just as he had done with everyone else, would likely be the next best course of action.
Of course, the shift would not be without its difficulties. Dio despised the thought of even pretending friendship with the likes of JoJo, but he would gladly bear it for the sake of his ultimate goal. No, the difficulty primarily lay in undoing JoJo’s animosity towards him. Dio had greatly underestimated JoJo’s capacity for vengefulness, and trust was such a notoriously fragile thing…
JoJo had certainly not been making the change in tactics any easier. Dio had hardly seen the other boy since their last fight. JoJo seemed to be going out of his way to avoid him. Not like he hadn’t clearly been making those same efforts before now, but JoJo barely even showed up to meals anymore. Dio would see JoJo run off outside everyday, but he had yet to catch a glimpse of him at any of his usual hiding spots.
As he passed by the tree JoJo used to frequent, with no sign of JoJo in sight, Dio huffed in annoyance. “I know he was attached to that beast, but just how long does he intend to mope about it?”
He could easily find JoJo himself, or use his influence over the other boys in town to hunt down JoJo’s new hideouts, and with how damn long it was taking JoJo to get over himself, Dio was about ready to throw caution to the wind and do just that. What need had he to be cautious, anyway?
(The memory of JoJo’s righteous fury bit at the back of Dio’s mind, and he promptly silenced it).
“Oi, Dio!”
At the sound of his name, Dio paused his stride and saw a group of his followers running down the path towards him. A few of them, he noted with mild interest, were nursing bruises and bloody noses.
The first of them to make it to Dio had a black eye in addition to the blood pouring over his hand, which he had pressed up beneath his nose. “Cor blimey, he’s turned into a real maniac…!”
“Used to not be able to hit worth a damn!” another boy exclaimed, a magnificent bruise decorating the side of his face.
“But we still got ‘im!” a third boy chimed in vindictively.
“Got who?” Dio asked.
“JoJo, of course!”
“JoJo…” Dio had suspected as much.
“We found him down the river,” one of the group explained. “He just up and attacked us, the bloody maniac…!”
“We beat ‘im, though!” someone else cut in. “That stupid uppity rich boy still can’t win a fight!”
Dio ignored the comment. The wheels in his mind were turning.
“Where is JoJo now?” he asked with practiced nonchalance.
Everyone’s fingers pointed back the way they had come. “Where we left ‘im, ‘round where the river flows behind that fancy mansion of ‘is. ‘e’s probably lickin’ his wounds if ‘e isn’t passed out by now.”
Dio strode forward, and the group parted like the Red Sea to Moses, allowing him to continue his way down the path.
“He’s gotten a lot stronger, Dio!” one of the group called to him. “You should be careful!”
“Don’t be stupid...!” another snapped. “As if anyone could beat Dio…! Least of all JoJo!”
Dio felt his hands curl into fists again. He forced himself to keep his stride even and unhurried.
“Yeah, and in the state we left ‘im, JoJo ain’t gonna be beatin’ anyone.”
“Dio’s got this, easy! Come on, let’s go!”
The sound of running footsteps and rowdy talk faded away, signalling the group’s exit. Dio allowed himself an irritated scoff.
It did not take Dio long to find JoJo. He saw the blood first, a trail of it, decorating the riverbank with scattered smears of crimson. And at the end of the trail, not at all far from where the trail started, lay JoJo.
Stepping off the path and onto the grass, Dio approached the fallen Joestar heir. At a glance, JoJo looked like a dead man. Dio had seen plenty of those in the slums of London, hidden curled up in alley corners, propped up against the wall behind pubs, or simply lying prone against the cobblestones, just like JoJo did now in the grass. It was immediately obvious that JoJo was alive though, if the laboured breathing was any indication.
Pity.
The grass rustled beneath Dio’s feet as he approached. JoJo coughed and turned his head just in time to see the other boy standing over him.
“Dio…” Though hoarsely spoken, the name came out sounding like a bitter curse. “Come to kick me while I’m down? You would do that, wouldn’t you…? Damn… coward…”
A few more coughs sent another light spray of blood spattering against the grass. JoJo groaned.
God, how badly Dio wanted to confirm JoJo’s bitter words. On the ground, face covered in blood and bruises, fancy clothes torn and dirtied, literally crawling - throughout all the torments Dio had put him through, JoJo had never looked more pathetic and beaten than he did right now. And here Dio was, in the perfect position to revel in the younger boy’s misery, to dig his heel into his back and say, “And here I thought only dogs crawled on all fours.”
But…
“That would be unseemly,” Dio said.
“You would know,” JoJo retorted. He grunted as he attempted to get his arms under him and push himself up, only for his arms to fail him and send his face crashing back into the dirt.
JoJo’s body began to shake. His hands clenched at the grass, soft, muffled sounds leaving him in spite of whatever efforts he might have been making to hide them. Dio simply looked down at him impassively. Then, he bent down and grabbed Jonathan by the arm.
“Wh– Hey…! What are you–?!”
Ignoring JoJo’s protests, Dio slung JoJo’s arm over his shoulder.
“Dio, what do you think you’re–?!” JoJo began to cough again.
“Helping you back home, is that all right?” Dio replied coolly.
He started towards the nearby bridge, which would allow them to cross the river and cut across the field to reach the mansion. JoJo recovered from his cough and began to struggle against Dio’s hold.
“Dio… Let go of me…!”
They reached the bridge and made their way across.
“I said let go!”
Dio tightened his grip on JoJo’s arm and continued their trek towards the mansion.
“Dio, let g–!” More coughing, this time severe enough for JoJo to sag significantly in Dio’s hold, forcing them to a stop.
“What?” Dio looked at JoJo with no small amount of annoyance. “Are you planning on crawling the rest of the way?”
JoJo did not answer immediately, his whole body shaking with the force of coughing up more blood onto the grass. As Dio watched, though, the coughing morphed into those same muffled sounds JoJo had been making on the riverbank only a minute or two ago. Dio could not make out his face, but JoJo’s body continued to shake.
“...You never liked Danny,” JoJo said at length, after his shaking had subsided a bit, voice low and barely audible.
“...No, I didn’t,” Dio admitted after a calculated pause. “What of it?”
“You killed him, Dio…!” JoJo turned his head to glare at him, frantic fury no less palpable through the tears running down his face. “I know you did, I know it was you, you killed him!”
Dio met JoJo’s teary gaze with a carefully crafted mask of easy benevolence. “JoJo… That is rather unfair of you.”
In an instant, the fire in JoJo’s eyes was doused with a startled uncertainty. “What...?”
“So I didn’t like your dog,” Dio continued sensibly. “For that reason alone you think me capable of committing such a cruel act?”
JoJo averted his gaze. “Well, I…”
Dio sighed in disappointment. “Really, JoJo.”
He forced JoJo to straighten up, leaving whatever excuses or retorts the latter might have said to die wordlessly as Dio resumed their walk.
Everything was quiet for a stretch. The grass crunched beneath their feet, a soft wind rustled past the nearby trees, JoJo’s breathing remained laboured and audible, broken only by the occasional cough, but no words passed between the two of them. Dio just kept his sights set on the mansion, trying to ignore how heavy JoJo was beginning to feel against his shoulder.
At around halfway to their destination, Dio glanced at Jonathan. The younger boy appeared lost in thought, blood and tear stained face a picture of conflicting emotions.
Dio returned his sights to the mansion. “So, what happened?”
“Huh?”
“You’re hardly the type to get into fights needlessly.”
Silence. Dio could see JoJo out of the corner of his eye, staring at him with a puzzled frown.
“...Why are you doing this, Dio?” JoJo finally asked.
“Whatever do you mean?”
“This is another one of your tricks, isn’t it?” The accusation, though bitter, held no bite to it, weighed down instead by weariness and resignation. “You’re planning to humiliate me somehow, to drag me down even further.”
Dio shook his head. “Still so unfair, JoJo. I saw you were in need and chose to help you. Is that really so hard to believe?”
“Well–“
“What, am I not allowed to show even the barest amount of humanity?” Dio asked, allowing a touch of bitterness in his own voice.
“No…!” JoJo cried. “I-I mean yes, but– No, that’s not what I…”
The words trailed off. Jonathan looked more confused and conflicted than ever. Dio held back a smirk, and the rest of the walk was spent in silence.
When they finally approached the front of the mansion, JoJo began to pull back. “Wait...”
Dio looked at him in annoyance. “What is it now?”
“Father,” JoJo said quietly, not meeting Dio’s gaze. “I don’t want him to see me like this.”
It would have been so easy to mock JoJo. Being so caught up in the loss of a dog that he had actually forgotten about the whereabouts of his own father? It was beyond pathetic.
“He’s not here, remember?” Dio said. “He went out of town yesterday to meet with a potential business partner and won’t be back for another two days. Come on…”
He nudged JoJo forward, and after a few hesitant stumbles, JoJo allowed Dio to lead him to and through the front door, where they were soon greeted by a very concerned staff. JoJo attempted to wave them all off, claiming to be “just fine” and other pointless self-denying rubbish. Dio simply asked that a bowl of warm water be brought to JoJo’s room as he brushed past them and helped JoJo make his way up the stairs.
When they got to JoJo’s room, Dio kicked the desk chair out from in front of JoJo’s desk and dropped the other boy into it. JoJo groaned, leaning forward with his arms wrapped around his abdomen, and Dio removed his jacket, tossing it onto the desk beside the two of them.
“...I... don’t think you answered my question earlier.”
Dio glanced up from rolling up his shirt sleeves to meet a searching blue gaze.
“Why are you helping me, Dio?” JoJo asked, the question genuine but guarded.
“Do you not want me to, JoJo?” Dio responded easily.
The blue gaze dropped back down to the floor. “I don’t know…”
JoJo’s arms tightened around his middle. The frown on his face was marred by a deep discomfort, too vulnerable to be resentfulness or hostility. Dio regarded him for a moment, carefully indifferent, then resumed folding up his shirt sleeves.
One of the manservants soon arrived with the requested water. The man once again expressed concern over the two boys, but Dio assured him that everything was under control and that he would call if they needed anything else. The manservant left, albeit hesitantly, and Dio returned to JoJo’s side with the bowl in hand, placing it onto the desk.
After soaking the provided cloth in the warm water and wringing it out, Dio turned and pushed Jonathan upright, drawing a startled cry of pain from the injured boy as he instinctively attempted to curl back in on himself. Dio ignored him, keeping one hand against JoJo’s shoulder.
“Sit still.” He pressed the damp cloth against a cut running along the edge of JoJo’s hairline.
“Ow!” JoJo recoiled, trying to pull away. “Dio! What are you– Ow!”
“Even a cut can become gangrenous if not properly attended to,” Dio said, dipping the cloth into the basin again and wiping more blood from a cut down Jonathan’s temple.
“Ow! I know that, but–”
“Then what is the problem? Just sit still and let me clean those cuts,” Dio retorted. He brought the cloth to a remarkable split in the skin above JoJo’s eye.
“Ow…! All right, all right, fine, just…” JoJo clenched and unclenched his fists for a moment, as though unsure what to do with his hands, before finally and hesitantly settling on gripping his knees. “Be gentle, all right…?”
Dio grit his teeth, fingers tightening around the cloth in his hand. He resumed cleaning JoJo’s cuts as before.
‘Be gentle.’
What the hell? How, how had he lost to this? A pampered brat who whined and flinched at the slightest pain? JoJo had taken a thumb to the eye, even a knee to the head better than this…!
JoJo hissed, tensing yet again as the cloth pulled at the edges of the cut along his hairline. “Well… You certainly seem to know what you’re doing…”
The words were murmured, sounding like a light observation spoken more to JoJo himself than to the boy in front of him.
Despite that, Dio found himself saying coldly, “Of course. I’ve had to.”
JoJo’s eyes flicked upward to look at him, wide, confused, and naive, so infuriatingly goddamned naive–
“The slums of London are not so kind as the backwater countryside, JoJo,” Dio snarled, glaring at the cut he was currently cleaning.
“...Right. Of course, that makes sense.”
Dio paused, actually looking JoJo in the face. He nearly reeled back.
Dio did not quite recognize the look on JoJo’s face. There was no hostility in it, no defensiveness, not even a resignation. It was not pity, Dio did actually know what that looked like. No, it was something else. Dio hated it.
“Tch.” Dio looked away, managing to regain a fumbling hold on his temper as he continued tending to Jonathan’s wounds. “You know, you never answered my question.”
“What? Ow…!”
“What happened?” Dio asked, relaxing now that that look had disappeared behind a wince of pain.
“I… It was nothing.” JoJo looked away. “I simply lost my temper…”
Dio just barely managed to hold back a scoff as he wrung out the cloth in the, by now, blood stained water. Chances were, his followers had found Jonathan and verbally assaulted him until some slight violated his precious sense of ‘honour,’ and he lashed out physically. Considering how much more emotionally fragile JoJo had been as of late, it would not have been difficult.
“Dio.”
At the sound of his name, Dio turned back to JoJo with a raised eyebrow. “Yes?”
There it was. That look again, made somehow worse by the way JoJo sat upright in his chair, despite how much it obviously physically pained him.
“I’m…” JoJo hesitated, then continued certainly, “I’m sorry. For… making you cry.”
Never had Dio felt more like he wanted to hit someone.
That look, those words, something about them just… got under his skin, made him feel not like the veritable god he knew he was. Dio wanted to hurt Jonathan, to punch that look off his face, to–

“...I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Dio said through grit teeth.
JoJo bowed his head. “Right. Of course.”
Dio’s grip tightened around the cloth once again. “Good god, just sit still,” he growled.
The rest of their time was spent in silence, save for the occasional hiss or cry from JoJo.

Dio Brando is the antagonist of the first part of the "JoJo's bizarre adventure" series. He is a young British, amber-eyed blond and very actractive man. His personality is quite powerful and strong; he is manipulative, dominant and very, very, EVIL.
Tumblr media
To know his story better you'll have to know that it all started when, in an accident, Dario Brando, his father, met George Joestar, a man who wanted to steal from, but he misunderstood and thought he was going to save him, and that made him think that he owed him his life.
That's how Dio was raised by his alcoholic father who abused him and his mother, until she died and a desire for power and money started to grow on the boy, no matter what he had to do to get it; this is why he was poisoning his father, without him realizing thst he was overwhelmed by the force and fury he had on this man. So on his deathbed Dario told his son to go to the Joeastar mansion to honor the words of George Joeastar to take care of him and also take advantage of them to get the very last coin of his fortune, that was his mission from now on. Thus began the story of Dio Joestar and his half-brother Jonathan Joestar (JoJo), who, unlike him, was very gentlemanly and friendly, but Dio made his life impossible, too bad that his adoptive father did not realize, thingking that Dio was not a bad person and fell into his trap. Dio behaved very diferently with JoJo when his father was around, because in his absence, he made Jonathan's life impossible.
Tumblr media
Thus they were growing up with a great rivalry until Dio started with his plan to seize the Joestar fortune and managed to poison his adoptive father, but Jonathan found out and he had to travel to seek the cure of the poison, meanwhile, Dio planned a way to kill him and thus keep all the fortune.
In my opinion Dio is a good character and villain, because he does things that demonstrate how evil he is, although it is so because of the way and the enviroment in wich he was raised, in wich he could have been raised without being abused, or his mother, Dio could have been a better person, like if he treated Jonathan better they wouldn't have been enemies, maybe the could have been friends at least. 5/5 stars.

Why is Dio the best and most badass Villain in anime history
The following text is a theory of mine. I don’t own Dio Brando and of course nor the pictures. Everything belongs to Hirohiko Araki and David Productions
Someone once said “Villain is the hero of his story”. This phrase is describing exactly Dio. Dio Brando or just Dio from the part 3, was the lonely child of Dario Brando, a drunk thief who always manhandled his wife and his son. One day Dio’s mother died by the hands of her own husband. Dio poisoned his father for revenge and get out of this living nightmare he was in with him.
Tumblr media
Without having anything he tried to find a home and a name. There was only one way to do this, the only way with which he raised up next to him father: to become a criminal and rival of the strongest.
He became acceptable from Joestar’s estate and he began to put his plan in action. He tried to find the disadvantages of the Joestar family and use them as his weapon, as Jojo’s carelessness, his mother mask and his father’s expectations from a Joestar.
Tumblr media
He quickly became equal and better than Jonathan Joestar. But that was just the beginning. He wanted everything, not only because of Greed, but because he wanted somehow to become acceptable from the society and leave behind his “dirty” name and “dark” past.
Tumblr media
When he saw that his plan was ready to fail, because he really prayed Jojo for his capability, he used his last hope of power: The Vampire mask. He chosed Jonathan to be his sacrifice, because he was the reason he got so far. But, George died in Jojo’s place, something which was beneficial for Dio.
Tumblr media
After the Joestars’ house burned down with Dio inside, he made Jack the Ripper his companion, the most dangerous serial killer of his age. Jack brought him people, from which Dio sucked their blood, repairing his face, his body and his strength.
Tumblr media
Maybe at first, he did everything for the inheritance, but later the battles became more personal with Joestar family. Dio drove crazy after he gain Vampire powers and saw Joestar more like a pray than just some enemies of his “better life”. What do you think?
Dio is one of my favorites Villains. But hey, this just a theory of mine!

THE GROUP’S TOPIC IS: JoJo Bizarre Adventure Part: 1, 2 and 3
The beginning of a long parts of the lineage Joestar, Phantom blood presents us to the family Joestar who is a rich family compuest of George and Mary Joestar, and the little Jonathan. One day in a travel in carriage this have an accident, leaving with the mother of Jonathan death, but one drunk men appear, and taking advantage of the situation, start to steal the rings and necklaces of George, but this weak up in shock and see this men and he is happy because one men his treating to save is family lives, and the Joestar family is debt with you, the drunk men accept is condolences, and says his name, Dario Brando. 12 years after that Dario Brando pass away, but his son Dio goes to the family Joestar to reclaim his debt, and George accept, and treat him like a son, but the will of Dio is taking everything of this family and gives to Jonathan the worst. In this story Dio when bot are young, Dio is the main character and jonathan doesn't stand out. In the second half when bot are adults, the father of Jonathan suddenly falls ill, and Dio is the guilty, because he gives poison, Jonathan when he realizes, goes to deal dio, but Dio has a mask of stone, who transfer him into a vampire and we see the real main character, Jonathan, who goes behind Dio.
This is only 3 chapters of the first part, and i think is not the worst part, but is slow and maybe bored, but if you want a really good story, you want to see until the final, and if you already see the first part, the rest of jojo is a really masterpiece, and you will remember Phantom blood like something sentimentalist, very recommended because is the beginning of something much bigger and epic.
Jojo Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency is the second part of the masterpiece known as jojo bizarre adventure, in this part we are introduced to the succesor of Jonathan, Joseph Joestar one of the best jojo protagonist of all the series and the gonna fight againts the poweful villians and they are the Pilar Man, but he isnt gonna fight alone with their friends. Cesar Zeppelin ,Speedwagon, Lisa Lisa and the mighty Baron Von Stroheim a german cyborg. The story of this season is about the development of Joseph as the new savior of humanity that he must have prepared to defeat the evil pillar man that in total are four:Santana, Esidisi, Wammu and Kars one of the most evil antagonist of the anime. And follow all the crazy adventures of Joseph to overcome evil in a great journey that covers this story, to have one of the most surprising and bizarre endings in anime. This part is have a lot of fighting scenes and they are all good, the anime doesn’t have good devepment character but is not important because all the caracter have a really good personality, unlike other animes and by the way this part is full of references to the pop culture, a classic distinctive of the JOJOs saga, you may have listen one of the music references like AD/DC, Led Zeppelin and more, see if you can find them all. This part is very sentimental, in one part you will cry or in another you will scream with happiness but you should have prepared for one of the saddest scene ever, only in Jojo. I love this part is the best thing I ever seen is so breathaking and unique.
I really recommend this part for everyone, it is really fun, it has a lot of personality, a unique style and many references. If God had a favorite series it must have been jojo. 10/10
Hi Friends, lets talk about the part 3 of JoJo’s Bizarre adventure, Stardust Crusaders. This part happen after the great part 2 Battle Tendency, after many years after, with the end we have our protagonist from the part 2, Josheph Joestar but a Little bit older, i hope to not give a lot of spoilers, but if i release a Little or a “big” spoiler i’m warning rigth now for all the people who doesnt see JoJo’s yet, and want to have a beautiful experience of this bizarre adventure of the Joestar family and Friends. Im starting with the impressions what give to me the part 3, in a start i was so exited for the history and how was the characters, the way of her evolutive personality made me feel deeply friendly with one person in particular, that is someone who in the part 3 have a lot of work and principal motivation who every person i can admit what every person will understand that man, feeling sadness about his way in this part. This isnt the only one who is the favorite of this story, im going to warn of a Little spoiler now because i will say my favorite character and he is Josheph, end of the spoiler, i wont say nothing more of that because you have to see JoJo’s to understand, the “crusaders” is a group who have a mission since the start of the part and in my opinion, the reason maybe for me should have made me feel a Little sad but if i speak of sadness, well… see JoJo’s and you’ll know what im talking about…
I keep thinking in the main antagonist of the part 3 and how he is there, in my mind was (Little spoiler) he should have been “dead” but is not dead and is alive but in my mind is “alive” because a thing what he did and was weird, bizarre in a way, but nothing to do with the creator of this, Hirohiko Araki, god bless you with this amazing story, and you, who is Reading this, you should’tn have been Reading the manga because the anime have a nice animation, thanks Productions David. Have a nice day or night and stay safe, see you someday bye, thanks for read!
