We asked recently what you love about Hill Top. Thanks for all the responses and feel free to continue! The reasons I love Hill Top are too many to list but here are a few. We get to be creative. We make fruit wines and meads and the possibilities are unlimited because we aren’t committed to grapes. Two generations of my family have made a living here and I like to image that will continue to future generations. I have as much fun with labels as I do with recipes! My favorite things are represented by labels. Both of our daughters got labels when they graduated from college so we have a JMU label (Madison Peach Sangria) and we have a Sweetbriar College label (Sweet Vixen Strawberry Wine). We have labels with some of my favorite animals from the farm, past and present: Jewel the Quarter Horse, Josey the Mammoth Donkey, our Heelers Pumpkin and Dixie, Molly the goat. We have labels for causes we believe in and make donations every time we bottle that wine. We get to make a living doing something we love creating unique craft beverages. We have employees we love as part of the family. We have customers who are supportive and loyal. We meet so many really nice people and some of them have become like family. Thank you friends for allowing us to live our dream, 25 years and counting.
