This dog breed has originated in the Basque region between France and Spain, where many shepherds came from an Australian descent, hence the Australian dog name. If you follow this account… I believe you get to know several of the dogs. Parker, he’s a dog that two of us took out the first two times. He was so shut down. He would just sit in a corner. Now look at him… Society may have given up on him at one point, but volunteers were there to see what kind of dog he actually was. Volunteers tag teamed him toward success.
