Hey how did you make those glasses? I tried making some for my skeletons but I just can't do it.

Hi! I made them using a single piece of wire, round nose pliers to shape them, and padded flat nose pliers to hold/flatten the front part. The first two pairs had a tiny curve inwards on the end of each arm to make them stay on, but the current pair I just superglued on since Milo always wears his glasses :)

Know any cool transformers tumblrs to follow? Especially ones that post pictures of toys/figures? (captain snoop sent me)

- @thelastgherkin is a good friend and frequent collaborator of mine, and he has some super good photography of pretty much everything that’s come out in the past few years, as well as some great creative works (like the Gherkverse)

- @waspshot23 is another good pal of mine, and does some truly gorgeous photography with a lot of fun rando robots

- @doubledealer93 has a lot of really neat photography, including some lovely outdoor stuff and does some GREAT prop work and stuff with effects parts

- @thedailyfigure has some great in-deph looks at some really interesting and fun toys, exploring all sorts of great oddities

- @theassortment has a lot of great characterful stuff, and even has some really fun headcanony bios in a lot of their galleries!

- @tfsquareone does some really neat stuff with diaclones and masterpieces, and writes a lot of super interesting articles about the history of the brand! he’s got a real passion for that kind of stuff and it shows in his content

and, well, i’ve been known to do my fair share of toy photography too! i put out a bunch of galleries whenever i get something new in

The rest of the stuff I got from Virginia and North Carolina. The coolest thing I picked up was the book Napoleon: Power and Splendor from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts exhibition of the same name. That was an incredible exhibit and I’m glad a certain person brought it up to me while I was up there visiting Virginia for a couple days! You know who you are! Thank you!

And also thank you to @doubledealer93 for bringing the Cracker Barrel transformers to my attention! I had to pick one up while I was visiting family over there. It’s absolute garbage and I only recommend it to people who genuinely enjoy knock offs.

Also Paul Rudd’s face on the Marvel Legends figure kills me everytime I look at him, lol

This was a reasonable cross-section of my musical taste - synth stuff and Indie pop/rock mixed with a little bit of classic rock...and some random voice clips that I created for Halloween mixes. (It’s pretty crazy that my shuffle picked two of them back-to-back, from the same mix even.) The only thing missing from this are probably some 1980s anime mecha opening songs and Sega Genesis music.
