It was not my intent to post an iconic Canadian two days in a row, but then a series of pictures of Tessa Virtue, including this one, showed up on my dash and it was all over. I barely remember making the poster—it was instant. I adore Tessa Virtue, and not only because she's unbearably hot (god is she ever tho) or because she can wear the daylights out of a sweater-dress. The main reason I adore Tessa is because of her mind-blowing talent. I love dancing and I love skating, and when a human can combine the two into some of the most spectacularly beautiful movements you've ever seen it's all over for me. Virtue and Moir are unquestionably the greatest Ice Dancers EVER and I would die defending this position. Their gold medal winning performance at the 2010 Olympics was breathtaking and moving (honestly I practically wept) and literally nation-building. All Canadians who saw that will never forget it. Today's girlcrushart guardian is Tessa Virtue.
