Tolkien holiday List Day Two
Fingon/Reader : Santas Elves
Tumblr media
To say Fingon was a playful lover, if not a bit mischievous, would be a substantial understatement. As a matter of fact, You could say that it has seen a sharp increase ever since you told him about all of the human customs around the holidays. His favorite, in particular, was of a smaller race of fae supposedly leaving little gifts and trinkets about for people who have otherwise been kind and relatively charitable to those around them. He understood perfectly well that this was but a children's tale, but it sure wouldn't stop him from partaking in your peoples' adorable customs.
He soon found himself In full swing of the holidays, decorating the halls of your home with full homemade garlands, bells, and ribbons adorning doorways and windows, hell, even a sprig or two of mistletoe hidden within the walls. The most fun he had, though, was found in acquiring and hiding his neatly wrapped gifts for you to find. Some of his hiding spots were in the most obvious of places, such as left on the bed, openings in doorways, and even on the front steps of your abode. The last of which was a direct cause of many of your “almost injuries” as you'd stumble down the stairs in a vain attempt to avoid stepping on them.
Others, however, He had made a great effort to hide much better, leaving little written notes and riddles for you to make a game of it. These gifts you enjoyed the most, as they had given you something more pleasant to occupy your day with. His gifts ranged from little boxes of candy and sweets to intricately made jewelry and trinkets.
The best thing to him about this time of year would definitely be seeing the overwhelming look of joy in your eyes every time you happened upon one of his gifts, followed by many thanks. Of course, he denied giving you these things, chalking it up to those mischievous little faes rewarding you for being as extraordinary as you are.
You could imagine his surprise when one day, towards the end of your holidays, a neatly wrapped little package makes its way onto his work desk. A gentle smile graces his features as he puts great care into unwrapping the tiny twine bow. As he pulled the paper free from the box and popped it open, he couldn't help his uncontrollable laughter as he looked inside. Within its confines is a singular piece of coal with a little note obviously written in your hand.
“The little Fae do not appreciate your blame during the holidays.”

Think You Can Warm Me Up
[Elves and Cockwarming x reader]
Tumblr media
Request: What elves do you think would like cock-warming? - anon
A/N: This was a lot of elves to think for since I've added more over the months gone by. Enjoy!!!
Warning: smut, cockwarming
More: Brat Taming
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Loves it – sometimes when they’re too busy to have sex with you but you want to feel them, they’ll suggest you sit on their lap, only to feel them raising your body slightly to slide themselves into you. When you lift your hips to move, their hands will be planted firmly on your waist with a stern look on their faces warning you to stay still. They’ll keep their hands on your waist, using it to pull you closer to rest against their chest and hold you down. Some use it for punishment when your bratty side comes out. They’ll rile you up by making out with you, having you grind on them feeling as though you two are about to have sex, but then when you’re about to ride them, they’ll lean in to whisper, “Not so fast love, no moving, sit right there and stay still or I’ll leave you empty. You thought I’d just give in and give you what you wanted, my poor confused little one” Other times, they’d use it to literally warm themselves up. When you two are relaxing as such, they’d throw the suggestion out to you and once you agree, the two of you will just be lounging about with their cock buried in you, staying warm. There are times you’ve fallen asleep with them buried in you. “You feel so warm and tight love, stop shifting so much, just stay still. This feels good, now we can cuddle.”

Hates it – the first time you suggest the act, they were down to try it, but once you sank your warm hole onto their cock, it was over for them. Their hands would immediately shoot out to grab your waist, urging you to move but you’ll simply push it away and lean into their chest informing them that you’re not supposed to move. “It’s called cockwarming for a reason. Now stay still. Don’t get mad, remember you agreed to this, so sit and enjoy it.” This was absolute torture for them, they couldn’t take it anymore. Knowing that if they moved their hips right then, you’d probably hop off and that wasn’t part of their plan. Waiting till you were settled in and comfortable, with ease, their hands would sneak around your waist holding you firmly to their chest and without any warning, begin thrusting into you. You’d admit that this was not how you planned the session to go but with the way the tip of their cock was brushing against your soft spot, your moans gave it away. Now whenever you suggest it to them, they’d smile at you saying that they’ll behave, only to abuse your heat as soon as you sink down on their cock. The longest they’ve ever lasted was five seconds. “If you really thought I’d sit through all that torture, you’re absolutely wrong. Now be a good girl/boy and enjoy my cock.”

Mixed feelings – one minute it’s torture for them the other it’s blissful. It just all depends on their mood not so much yours. If they’re tired and just want to be warmed or you want to feel them, they’d let you go ahead without interrupting you. They’d simply wrap their arms around you and pull you in closer, pressing a kiss to your forehead and drifting off to sleep. Other times it’s when they’re busy doing paperwork and could do with a little relief. Letting you sit on their lap with the table hiding their cock buried deep in your heat, they’d let you lean into them so they could continue their work. “This feels good, didn’t think I’d be needing this, but after I’m finished here, I’d bend you over this table for a good fuck, hmm.” When you’re teasing them all day and acting up and then decide it’s time to kick it up a notch by making them feel you were about to ride them after your tedious torture only to sit still on their cock, now you’re just asking for it. They’d be grinding their teeth the entire time when you tell them not to move while pretending to do something important, informing them that when you’re finished then you two can go at it, they’re not going to listen, not when you were suffocating their cock. They wouldn’t care at that point, so say goodbye to whatever it was that you were doing. “Don’t you think this is a little too much love, don’t you think this has gone on for too long because I think so as well. How about we change that by having me fuck you, now.”

Imagine trying to enjoy alone time in a tavern, but then ending up as the local therapist for an elf and his relatives.
Tumblr media
Imagine trying to simply enjoy some alone time in a tavern, drinking some beverage, and minding your own business till you meet this one elf and  became regular chat buddies. Now, the relatives of this elf keep coming to the tavern to talk about their problems with you.
Warnings: reader’s sanity gets tested.
---------------------------------------------------------
Day 1
Maedhros: *Walks into the tavern, takes a seat, orders a drink, and slams his head against the table*
You: Now that sounds like someone is done with everyday life.
Maedhros: You have no idea.
You: Which one for you, work or unbearable relatives?
Maedhros: Hmm?
You: Work or unbearable relatives? Sometimes it's the work that tires you out, but sometimes it’s the relatives– who do things that make you tick beyond measure.
Maedhros: Hmm… both. Why would you like to know?
You: Just filling out boredom. Wanna have a drink? I can pay for you because you look like you need it.
Maedhros: Well – that is nice of you. I am Maedhros.
You: (Name)
After a week of meeting with Maedhros to shit talk about family, drink, and send each other off– not to be seen for another week.
Maedhros: And yet again, I have to clean up after my brothers.
You: Man, that sucks.
Maedhros: Indeed. I have to go. It was nice talking to you.
You: Bye.
Maedhros: Farewell.
Maedhros: *Walks out of the tavern after paying the bartender*
You: *Sits in silence, drinking*
Maglor: *Walks in and notices you*
Maglor: Excuse me? Are you (Name)?
You: Uuh – yeah?
Maglor: I heard about you from my brother, Maedhros. He apparently likes to come here to talk and drink with you.
You: And you are?
Maglor: I am Maglor.
You: Ah, the one that sings in the morning and never shuts up.
Maglor: What?
You: Nothing! What do you want?
Maglor: I will be honest. I need to relieve something out of my chest. And since Maedhros likes talking with you. I have been ha — *talks about his problems with his family*
You: *Staring at him, confused.*
You: Wha –?
Week 2
You: *Trying to enjoy peace after having talk sessions with both Maedhros and Maglor for a week.
Caranthir: You!
You: Wah! What!
Caranthir: Are you (Name)?
You: uhm – yes? I’m sorry. Did I do something to piss you off?
Caranthir: No. Why would you think that?
You: You look angry.
Caranthir: Well, I’m not. I am Caranthir. I heard about you from two of my brothers, Maedhros and Maglor.
You: Oh, the grumpy one and the one that hoards all the gold?
Caranthir: What?
You: Nothing! What can I do for you?
Caranthir: I heard talking with you helps relieve stress and resolve problems. So, let me start –
You: And what if I don’t-
Caranthir: I will only talk about this once, so listen carefully. I am so done with my –*talks about his problems with his brothers and relatives and problems managing the money*
You: What?
Week 4
You: *Groaning while lying your head against the table*
Celegorm: You (Name)?!
You: What? Who — who are you two?!
Celegorm & Curufin: *sits on each side of you that you sat between them*
Celegorm: We belong to the same family as the rest of our dear brothers, who seem to like turning their backs on us in our time of need.
You: That – doesn’t tell me anything.
Curufin: His name is Celegorm and I am Curufin.
You: Oh, The unhinged forest goblin and the cheap copy of dad?
Celegorm & Curufin: What?
You: Nothing! I assume you wanna talk and let something out of your chest too?
Celegorm: Excellent! Then there is no need for an explanation. Let me tell you what kind of a rough week we had.
Celegorm: I was planning good things for our people, but they kicked us out because apparently we were evil, and I tried to force myself upon Doriath’s princess. I was only trying to show I would be a better option than that mortal man. She even stole my dog!
Celegorm: Can you believe that? And all people claim we’re the most problematic people in Beleriand.
You: Didn’t you try to kill them, though?
Curufin: And my son doesn’t want to be my son anymore? Apparently, I disgusted him so much that he decided to disown himself.
You: —what?
Week 6
You: *Groaning even harder after exhausting weeks of listening to the feanorians’ problems*
Fingon: Excuse me, are you by any chance (Name)?
You: Please, don’t tell me you’re one of Maedhros’s brothers!
Fingon: Oh no, I’m not.
You: – really?
Fingon: I’m his half-cousin!
You: dammit!
Week 8
Fingolfin: You must be (Name)
You: Huh?
Fingolfin: Okay, let me talk about my kids and those problematic nephews of mine.
You: Sir? Do I know you?
Fingolfin: My kids don’t listen to me, and my half-brother’s kids just do anything they like, causing problems and being a bunch of ruffians.
You: Sir? Sir? SIR?!
Week 14
Maedhros: Hey, (Name). Sorry, I have not been visiting for a while. I have been busy with work.
Maedhros: (Name)?
You: *You sit up, shadows and bags in your eyes, exhausted and looking like you were going to break down at any moment*
Maedhros: (Name)! What happened? You look awful!
You: You – and the rest of your family need to find professional help.

My Prince
Tumblr media
featuring fingon x reader
fandom tolkien - silmarillion
a/n I missed writing for my silm folks
You always admired from afar as he rode upon that magnificent horse.
The prince’s long hair caught against the wind – it flowed as delicately as the waters of the Teleri.
The sun rays shining on his soft skin as his blue eyes narrowed in determination as himself and his horse trusted one another with every race, jump and leap.
Every day you sat underneath the tree – you back resting against – as the prince rode his horse.
This would be the only time a simple lady like yourself can watch one of the princes of Ñolder – the first prince of Ñolofinwë.
The first-time prince Findekáno caught your eyes many moons ago – you were only a child then and you had wandered off only to find yourself stuck in a muddy pit.
No one came to your aid even as you cried for hours in that lonely field – until the little prince found you himself.
You swore he was joking when he introduced himself as a prince – almost laughing at his face.
He didn’t take it too well, having made a grumpy and pouting face at you – but nevertheless being the kind ner he was even then as a young child he tried to help you out of the muddy it you had yourself stuck in.
You couldn’t help but watch as he got himself into all sorts of mischief just to get you out – eventually he had even gotten his horse, his friendly companion, who was only a mere foal at the time and pulled you out by racing on him.
You only rarely saw him afterwards – of course he was once the princes, where did he have the time to search for clumsy nis he once helped out.
But you saw him again – and while your eyes didn’t always meet, you were happy having gotten used to watching him from afar.
Just like you were doing now – pretending to be reading when your eyes were really on prince Findekáno and his trusted companion.
You came here almost every day – just to see him – having now fallen for him for many years now.
Your heart fluttered at the sight of him.
Then suddenly – his eyes met yours in a split second catching your gaze and you immediately hid your face with the book you were reading.
For a moment – you heard nothing but the wind around you as you held your breath.
You frowned – not hearing a sound and figured you had imagined the scenario.
So slowly you peeked from the book – you frowning seeing no sign of the prince of his horse.
You looked around the field – but nothing, it was as if he had only just vanished.
Then – you got up placing your book back in your little basket as you got up – dusting your dress, still confused as to where the prince silently disappeared to.
You were too focused on trying to find prince Findekáno – you had suddenly missed your footing, slipping against the mud.
Just as you fell – suddenly you heard a horse neighing and a strong arm wrapped around your waist from behind simultaneously, instantly being pulled up – breaking your fall so you do not hurt yourself.
For a moment – you only felt the rush of air and heard the pounding of hooves.
Slowly then you blinked your eyes open nervously – shocked to find yourself on the back of the beautiful horse that belonged to the prince you secretly loved.
You tensed – feeling your back pressed up against the prince.
The heat rushed to your cheeks as you heard his breathy amused chuckles from behind.
“It seems you’re still as clumsy – I may need to save you every time, my little damsel in distress.”
You heard – light heartedly teasing you.
You turned knowing meeting his eyes – the dimples on his cheeks making your heart flutter.
“Forgive me, prince Fi-”
But you cut yourself off – listening to his words as he kept riding his horse with you in front.
“…Every time?”
You frowned – looking at him again.
He smiled playfully and politely at you – and slowly rode into a gentle stop.
“Well, he and I haven’t forgotten our first rescue.”
The prince grins at you.
It was then you noticed how the horse was reacting to you – the stallion was quite calm in your presence, in fact he didn’t seem startled or nervous like horses usually were with strangers.
He slowly reaches up – turning its head allowing you to brush through his mane.
“He remembers you. . .as do I. . .”
Prince Findekáno tells you gently.
Your eyes widened as he spoke – looking at him shocked at a prince like him would remember you out of all people. . . ?
“My lady, why do you look very surprised to hear my words?”
He smiles at you – a small smirk hiding too.
“I did not. . .well it was many moons ago, my prince. . .”
“Perhaps – yet you did not forget me, you watched me every day and never approached me again – I must say that wounds me so.”
Prince Findekáno says to you.
“Well. . .you’re a prince and I. . .well I. . .”
“- A fair maiden worthy of many things. . .”
He finishes – a sincerity in his tone that speaks volumes for his well upbringing.
“You think so, my prince?
You blushed.
“Yes – I ought to do so. . .”
He says – and you believed then – taking the chance to now see him from up close that far away.

Trade Worth an Afternoon
Tumblr media
Genre: Fluff
Pairing: Nolofinwean + Celegorm x Sister Reader
Summary: Ambarussar = 1 Y/n?
AN: My soul said, "WRITE THIS SHIT RN!!"
Tumblr media
“Hmm why yes Celgorm, of course, we can come to an agreement,” Aredhel drawled carefully, her voice laced with amusement as she glanced away from where you and Argon sat, engrossed in your toys.  Her eyes twinkled with mischief, a stark contrast to the seriousness of the "trade negotiations" she was proposing.
Stifling a laugh that threatened to erupt, Celegorm replied, playing along.  “2 Ambrussa for 1 y/n.  That is fair trade, Aredhel.”  His voice held a hint of playful arrogance, knowing full well the absurdity of bartering with children.
The mention of your name pierced through your concentration, and you looked up from your game of blocks with wide, curious eyes.  Argon, ever the follower, followed suit, his brow furrowed in confusion.
“You are right, perhaps,” Aredhel conceded with a mischievous glint in her eyes as she turned her attention to you directly.  “What do you think, little y/n?  Do you want to become Celegorm’s sister?”
A small patter of feet echoed across the polished stone floor as both you and Argon scrambled towards your sister and cousin. “No. I am your sister,” you declared bluntly, your voice clear and unwavering.
“Yes, y/n is our sister,” Argon parroted, his voice echoing yours in a perfect unison.  The pair of you, oblivious to the undercurrent of amusement between your elders, stood side-by-side, a united front against this unexpected proposition.
Pulling Argon into a playful embrace, Aredhel feigned a dramatic sigh.  “But you have a sister, me.  Now Celegorm and his brothers don’t have one.  Why don’t we share, just like amil taught us?”
Argon, ever his mother’s pet and easily swayed by her gentle words, was instantly caught in a moral dilemma.  His brow furrowed as he deliberated, torn between wanting to please both his mother and his best friend.  “No… but,” he stammered, his voice laden with worry as he looked back at you with a helpless expression.
You, however, were not so easily swayed.  You set your jaw with a determination that belied your age and glared at Celegorm, who was trying his best to stifle another laugh.  “I won’t go,” you declared fiercely.
Celegorm, caught off guard by your outburst, hoisted you into his arms with a playful rumble.  "And why not, y/n?" he teased, nuzzling his nose against your cheek. You flailed your limbs in protest, the urge to pull his hair warring with the ticklish sensation his leather cuffs sent against your skin.
"Finno and Turu won't allow this!" you sputtered, glaring back at him with narrowed eyes.  "And ata loves me more than Aredhel!"  This last declaration was more of a desperate hope than a statement of fact, but it served its purpose. Aredhel's smile faltered for a fleeting moment, a flicker of something akin to annoyance crossing her features.
As for Argon, the very notion of being separated from you sent him into a silent panic.  He looked mortified at the idea of sharing his room with the rambunctious Fëanorian twins, even more mortified at the prospect of leaving his unfinished drawing and the half-built block castle behind.  With a whimper, he tugged on Aredhel's sleeve, his lower lip trembling.  "No, y/n is my sister," he echoed your words, shaking his head vehemently as if denying the very possibility of the trade.
"Uncle Nolofinwe and my father already agreed," Celegorm declared smugly, a broad grin splitting his face. "Unfortunately, y/n, you will be now our sister."
His words hit you like a thunderbolt. Your eyes widened in shock, threatening to spill tears at any moment. "No!" you cried, your voice trembling like a leaf in a winter wind. Tears welled up in your eyes, blurring your vision. "I'm Argon's sister! We promised Amil we'd finish building our castle together! And besides," you hiccuped, rubbing your eyes "Ambarussar are too big for my bed. They won't fit!"
Argon, mirroring your distress, began to wail. He clung to Aredhel, his tiny fists clutching at her tunic. "No! No y/n go!" he sobbed, his voice thick with tears.
"And when my brothers and I return from our next adventure," Celegorm continued adding fuel to the fire in his chaotic ways, "y/n will come with us.”
Argon, his lower lip trembling, clutched you desperately. His only playmate, his confidante. Galadriel was too smart to play with on normal days.
The room erupted in chaos. You, fueled by a sudden surge of adrenaline, wriggled free from Celegorm's surprised grasp.  "Never!" you screamed, bolting towards the nearest exit.
Argon, wiping his tears with the back of his hand, followed close behind, his small legs pumping furiously.
Tumblr media
Fingolfin, his face a mask of thunder, stood before Aredhel and Celegorm, both of whom shuffled uncharacteristically on their feet. The usual twinkle in their eyes was replaced with a dull sheepishness.
"What did you do?"  Fingolfin's voice boomed.
"Well..." Aredhel began, her usual silver tongue failing her.  Celegorm, notorious for his smooth talk, coughed awkwardly, unable to meet Fingolfin's steely gaze.
And for once both Aeredhel and Celegorm were at a loss for their words. The prank…perhaps had been too harsh. The flushed faces of both Fingon and Turgon, who had spent the entire evening looking both you both were enough to answer that it indeed had been too much.
And thus, the product of their prank lay in Fingolfin and Anaire's laps. Both you and Argon slept peacefully, your faces streaked with tears that had dried on your cheeks.
"Aredhel," Turgon's voice was a low rumble, devoid of its usual playful teasing. "We scoured the entire city for y/n and Argon. The entire afternoon."  His gaze, usually warm, was now icy with disapproval.
Fingon, his hand resting protectively on your head, patted Turgon's arm in a silent plea for calm.  "What did you even say for them to hide so fiercely?" he asked, his voice stern but tinged with relief.  "They ran away the moment they saw me and Turgon, then vanished for the entire day." Fingon usually retained the position of the most loved sibling for all Nolofinwean siblings.
"Y/n even hid all her belongings, and neither of them showed up for their evening snacks."
This last detail struck a deeper chord.  Evening snacks with Fingolfin were a cherished ritual for the younger members of the family, a time for stories and laughter.  That they would skip it willingly was a testament to the terror they must have felt.
“It was merely a jest,” Aredhel tries to weasel her way out of the situation.
"A jest?" Turgon echoed, his voice tight with contained fury. "An entire afternoon of frantic searching constitutes a jest to you, Aredhel?"
Anaire, her face pale with worry, finally spoke. "They haven't said a word since we found them," she said, her voice trembling slightly.  "They were huddled together under their bed sobbing hysterically. What did you do to them?"
"We told them that we were going to trade y/n for the twins," Aredhel admitted, her voice barely a whisper.
The room fell silent for a beat, thick with tension that quickly dissolved into an eruption of laughter. Fingon and Fingolfin, unable to contain themselves, doubled over, snorting with amusement. Even Anaire, despite her initial glare, found a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. Finwe's crooked humor, it seemed, wasn't lost on his bloodline.
"Oh, my poor darlings," Anaire cooed, leaning down to kiss your and Argon's foreheads, a soft smile gracing her features. "That must have been terrifying. But you two managed to hide quite well.” While both the said, elflings barely stirred in their sleep.
Aredhel, relieved by the shift in atmosphere, puffed out her chest with a hint of pride. "They were! We even had them convinced Uncle Curufinwe and Ata were in on it."
Before she could revel in her mischievousness any further, Turgon, ever the serious one, swatted her playfully on the back of the head.
And that is how the infamous story of trading siblings came to be in the Finwean clan. One that often left a sputtering mess of Celegorm and Aredhel. And a slightly offended Ambarussar.

All I Want Is You - Fingon x gn!reader
There’s only one thing Findekáno wants for his Begetting Day – to finally start courting the love of his life.
Words: 1.1k
Tags: best friends to lovers, first kiss
A/N: sooo, this is the first proper one shot i've ever written for fandom stuff. i hope it doesn't suck.
Aikanáro - Aegnor, Angaráto - Angrod, Fëanáro - Fëanor, Findekáno - Fingon, Maitimo - Maedhros, Turukáno - Turgon
Findekáno noticed you the moment you came through the door and made a beeline towards you. “(Y/N)!” He exclaimed in his usual cheerful manner and pulled you in for a hug that seemed to linger just a second too long, not that you minded. You discreetly breathed in his scent and felt your stomach flutter. “Happy Begetting Day!” You said with a bright smile when he let go of you and handed over your present to him. He gratefully accepted it and went to put it with the other presents he had received. Even though you shouldn’t be, you were astounded at the volume. He was a prince, after all, and you couldn’t help but feel the tiniest bit self-conscious, hoping your gift wouldn't appear too simple next to the others. You pushed the thought aside and followed him to the opulent buffet to grab something to drink and a bite to eat.
You observed him carefully as you followed behind him. His hair was adorned with his signature golden hairbands that matched the artfully crafted jewellery he wore as well as the intricate embroidery on his royal blue robes. He looked stunning as always and you could only hope your own appearance was a suitable match.
After the two of you had filled your plates, you settled down at an empty table and you happily listened to him chatter away about all the planning that had gone into the celebration as well as the latest royal family drama. Apparently Maitimo – his oldest cousin – had managed to convince his uncle Fëanáro to attend and so far, he had only gotten into minor squabbles with Findekáno’s father. One would see what the rest of the evening would bring. After the recounts of drama were finished, he went over to presenting his newest jokes to you. He loved making you laugh. You were oblivious to the fact that he had practised all of his jokes on Turukáno beforehand, making sure they were actually funny, and he wouldn’t embarrass himself in front of you. Although he sometimes wondered if his brother was the right choice for this as he wasn’t exactly known for his sense of humour.
When the conversation came to a natural lull he glanced over at the minstrels and the other guests dancing to their harmonious music. He rose from his chair with determination. “Would you care for a dance, my lady?” He asked with a dramatic bow and extended his right hand to you with a mischievous spark in his eyes. “You know I can’t dance, Findekáno.” You grumbled. You had been over this countless times, he seemed to ask you to dance every time there was a chance and you tried to not read into it, even though you desperately wanted to. It’s not that you disliked dancing with him – quite the opposite, you cherished every moment you got to be this close to him – you just hated making a fool of yourself in front of him. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll show you. Also, it’s my Begetting Day, meaning you legally can’t deny my wishes.” He gave you his best puppy eyes and broke into a triumphant grin when you let out a resigned sigh. “Fine, but don’t be upset when I eventually trample your feet.”
To your credit, the dance went considerably better than you had thought – you only stepped on his feet two times and both times he laughed it off, assuring you it hadn’t hurt at all, though you suspected that was a lie. “You look beautiful tonight, by the way.” He said out of nowhere and tucked a wayward strand of hair behind your ear. You felt your insides melt a little at the contact. “This colour really suits you.” He continued and gave you an earnest smile. “Thank you. You look quite dashing yourself.” You replied a little bashfully. Friends give each other compliments, you reminded yourself, there’s nothing more to it. Right? He stopped his movements after a while and threw a look at a set of doors that led out to an empty balcony. “I could use some fresh air.” He declared. “Care to join me?” You nodded and he led you out to the cool evening air.
Findekáno leaned against the railing and you followed his example. “Thank you for coming today.” He said. “Of course. You’re my best friend, how couldn’t I?” There was a short pause. “Have you … ever thought about us being more than just friends?” He asked with bated breath. You blinked rapidly at him, not sure if you had heard him correctly. “What do you mean? Like … courting?” He nodded, eyes filled with hope and nervousness at the same time. You felt an aggressive blush creeping up your cheeks and averted your eyes. “Maybe.” You said barely audible. “What about you?” “I have. A lot.” He replied and reached for one of your hands. “(Y/N), I’m in love with you.” He finally confessed. “I have been for a long time, but I was scared that if I told you, it might ruin our friendship.” He took a deep breath before he continued. “But I’m tired of hiding my feelings and it’s okay if-“ “I love you, too.” You blurted out and covered your mouth in surprise. “You do?” He asked and you nodded your head vigorously. His face lit up brighter than both Laurelin and Telperion together and he let out a laugh that almost sounded giddy. “You have no idea how happy I am to hear that.” He exclaimed and pulled you into his arms, squeezing you tightly before loosening his grip a little. You looked up at him and found your gaze wandering between his eyes and his lips. Findekáno smirked knowingly. “Is there something on your mind?” He asked in a teasing tone. You bit your lower lip slightly. “Can I kiss you?” You asked while subconsciously gripping the front of his robes. “You most certainly can, melda.” He replied and leaned down to which you rose to the tips of your toes to meet him halfway.
All your fantasies paled in comparison to the real kiss you were sharing, and you wished it would never end. When your lips parted you reached up to caress his right cheek and he lightly leaned into the touch. “I love you.” You repeated in a whisper. “I love you, too.” He whispered back and in that moment nothing else mattered.
If either of you noticed your other two best friends, Angaráto and Aikanáro, lurking outside the doors and triumphantly exchanging money, you didn’t comment on it.

"Ada, how did you meet naneth?" Erenion's curious voice filled the air.
"Hmm---why the sudden question, Erenion?" Fingon looked at his young son while you lay on the couch with your daughter, eating watermelon.
"I was just curious since grandpa said your meeting was odd," Erenion explained. "odd?" you questioned. "I was a victim of a vicious crime and your father came to save me," you answered.
"Crime?!" Erenion looked startled.
"Ah--- let me tell you how it happened. You see, it wasn't that kind of a crime," Fingon interfered with an awkward laugh.
(Many years ago)
Fingon was walking back after an exhausting day. He came to a corridor and saw you eating a half of a watermelon with a spoon. A bit odd, but he didn't question it and politely greeted you while passing.
"Hey," he said casually.
"Hi," you said back and continued eating.
Something crashed in another room, gaining both of yours attention. You both watches as an angry woman walked out of the room, yelling profanities at a man and cursing him for cheating on her. You both stood there awkwardly as the fight continued till the woman's gaze fell upon you and your watermelon.
She grapped your watermelon out of your hands and threw it at the man, sending him running before glaring at you and walking away.
You and Fingon stood there in silence. You had a mortified expression as you still held on to your invisible watermelon.
"Are… you okay?" Fingon asked, concerned.
"This is officially the worst day of my life," you said as you stared at your watermelon that laid on the floor in a bad mess.
(Now)
"And then I bought her a new one, then we started talking, fell in love, married and had you and your baby sister," Fingon explained with a smile.
"Wait-- this all started with a watermelon?" Erenion questioned in confusion.
"As I said-- I was a victim of a vicious crime, like what did my watermelon ever do to that woman?! Why did it have to be my watermelon?!" you said dramatically.
Tumblr media
Patting my shoulder with the largest smirk, till this day, your watermelon incident had never failed to make him laugh. “There, there melda. Didn't I promise to get you more watermelons after that incident? That was literally our first date, buying you watermelons. I even grew a watermelon patch just for you…and that woman if she wanted to launch more at people.” He laughed clutching his stomach, wheezing.

Fingon peeled off his wet jacket and hung it on the wall-mounted rack by the door, looking about as miserable as he felt. The weather was particularly vicious this evening, with snow falling relentlessly and the wind having a sharp bite to it. All in all, it was a most wretched journey home.
At least the water ran hot while he showered, and the soap smelled faintly of orange while it glided over his skin. Ten minutes was all he took, but those ten minutes were glorious. When the last of the icy chill was driven out of his body, he stepped out of the shower to dry himself off and put on a pair of jeans and a comfortable sweater. And while the scents of fresh flowers on the mantle and the pine from the Christmas tree were invigorating, it was the scents from the kitchen that truly enticed him.
“Ah, what scents.” Fingon made himself comfortable in his usual seat at the breakfast nook. He took a deep breath and sighed dreamily. “Tomato soup. Grilled cheese sandwiches. Chocolate?”
“Hot chocolate and marshmallows for later.” You set his dinner on the counter and took your place beside him, giving him a discrete, measured look. Even in a pair of old jeans and a sweater, everything that was Valinorian about Fingon shone through. Tall and sharp, and with that sleek, waist-length dark hair of his, he stood out wherever he was and in whatever he wore. “I swear you are as skilled at sniffing things out as that beast your cousin calls a dog.”
“Tyelko will not take kindly to Huan being called a beast.” Fingon swallowed the first spoonful of soup and closed his eyes. Fresh tomatoes. Herbs. Spices. It was just what he needed after a long day at the office and a miserable commute by train. “And you are an angel for making this for me.”
“I will make sure to remind you of that when we go gift shopping,” you remarked merrily.
Soup went down the wrong way when he laughed. “Make sure that you do,” he managed between a fit of coughs. It cleared soon enough, and he returned to his meal. The soup continued to be a feast for the senses, as were the sandwiches that followed. The bread was crisp and warm, and the cheese melted in his mouth with each bite. Fingon then helped himself to more soup, and brought a second serving for you as well.
Dinner passed in companioble silence for a while. You then asked Fingon about his day and about his journey home. He grumbled about work and about the new troubles with his half-uncle. Then he complained about the project that had to be completed before he left for home. Finally, he turned to the weather.
“It started snowing an hour before I left work,” he continued, “and it continued to snow during the train ride home, and it was still snowing when I walked here. And it looks like it is going to keep snowing until tomorrow morning. At least I do not have to worry about going to work tomorrow or the days after that.”
"Well, I know of something that could put you in a much better mood than the soup,” you decide and return to the stove. The smell of soup slowly gave way to the sweet redolence of cocoa and chocolate and milk. Fingon pushed the bowl away from him, so eager was he to accept the steaming mug of hot chocolate you poured for him. He clapped his hands with glee when you sprinkled tiny spheres of white marshmallows on top, then grated nutmeg over them.
“Hot chocolate,” you smiled indulgently, “and marshmallows. Just like I promised. Because I am, as you say, an angel. Remember that when we do go gift shopping.”
A great deal wiser this time, Fingon waited till his laughter died before taking that first sip.

Having a threesome with Russingon. Maedhros cumming deep inside of you, and then having you sit on Fingon’s face so he can clean you up.
Fuck Maedhros would carve you open just enough for Fingon to have such an easy and deep slip of the tongue.

House of Fingolfin | Being In An Arranged Marriage With Them
Tumblr media
A/N: This takes place in Valinor, in a no–darkening verse and arranged marriages are common traditions among the elves. By now, I'm considering this an AU within the Silm verse with all the ideas that’s been swimming in my mind after writing each headcanon (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
Warnings: feelings of neglect and loneliness, resentment, disputes, there is some comfort, angst because it's an arranged marriage
Arranged Marriage AU: Arafinweans ver.
Tumblr media
☆ . ࣪ ˖ ࿐ Fingolfin
Fingolfin strongly resents being told what to do. However, if complying benefits his family and upholds his royal status as an exemplar for princes, he will reluctantly follow through. In this context, he would have no significant objections to an arranged marriage.
He genuinely believes in his father’s good intentions and considers his mother’s agreement as final. Fingolfin would attentively attend the meeting, listening to the criteria and rationale for the arrangement while occasionally glancing at your disheartened expression.
Initially, he might struggle to comprehend why you don’t view the situation as a win–win, given that you’re marrying a prince and about to enjoy a luxurious lifestyle. The notion of being forced into this or having a lover only dawns on Fingolfin when his younger brother or a friend brings it up.
He’s determined to make the relationship work and hopes you won’t be confrontational or resist connecting with each other. Your reluctance to make things work is a source of frustration for him, but his pride prevents him from complaining to others.
But it is important to keep in mind that as much as he’s fighting you to make this work, he is respectful of your boundaries and personal space.
“I may have been slow to realise your reservations about the arrangement, but may I ask that you at least attempt not to distance yourself when all I want is for this to go smoothly? Yes, we will be married soon, but I’m not suggesting a romantic involvement, just a basic level of cooperation to ease the tension, please.”
He’s eager to make the arrangement a success because he sees it as essential for his role as a prince and a way to outshine his older brother. In Fingolfin’s perspective, this is a competition, albeit unfortunate for you.
You must assert that for this relationship to work, it shouldn’t be a platform for competition or jealousy, but rather something mutually beneficial and meaningful. You seek a partner you can rely on and trust, while he desires a confidant.
Despite the challenges, you enjoy a royal lifestyle with extravagant parties, balls, and dinners, access to the finest materials and food, a luxurious house designed to your liking, and any other desired indulgence. Fingolfin explicitly mentions that the house was created with your preferences in mind in hopes of ensuring some form of comfort is achieved.
An added benefit of the relationship is Fingolfin’s trust in your abilities as a mediator and leader. As a means to enhance communication, he gradually opens up and seeks your advice in the hopes of strengthening the arrangement.
Tumblr media
☆ . ࣪ ˖ ࿐ Fingon
Initially, when the news was broken to him, Fingon found it all rather amusing. He doubled over and laughed in his father’s face, thinking it was some kind of joke. It took a while for the seriousness of the situation to sink in, and he soon realised that this was no laughing matter. Fingon is a free–spirited individual who believes in choosing when to marry, not never for political reasons, as was the case in this instance.
When you’re in the room, Fingon prefers to keep his anger in check and maintain a pleasant demeanour, as he doesn’t want to frighten you. He’s well aware that you had no say in this decision, and his father is the only one he has an issue with.
The sorrowful look on his face when he meets your eyes is heart–wrenching, as both of you are victims of politics. Despite the circumstances, he does his best to shield you from the harsh reality and maintain the illusion of a simple friendship.
Among all his siblings and his father, Fingon is undoubtedly the most agreeable elf to be married to. Despite his inner turmoil and his father’s constant pressure to make the relationship work, he remains cheerful and amiable in your company, ensuring your comfort throughout the entire engagement.
However, in the early days of the marriage, he was the complete opposite of his usual self, largely due to your reserved nature. He was distant and mostly silent as he grappled with controlling his temper, trying to figure out how to make the relationship work.
If he’s going to be your husband against his will, he’s determined to be the best one you could hope for. Do you require your space? You got it. Do you not wish to see or speak to him? He’ll respect it. Do you want him to stop pretending that everything’s perfect? You’ll get that as well, although it may not be what you expect.
“You might be expecting me to shout, scream, or completely ignore you. I couldn’t bring myself to do any of that, though, as it’s not how my mother raised me to behave when I’m dissatisfied... I understand that you see through the façade I put up; it’s mostly to get my father off my back. But it’s not an act when I’m around you.”
Count on Fingon to make your forced marriage bearable and tolerable. He alleviates the typical anxiety associated with arranged marriages by filling it with unconditional love, support, appreciation, and trust. He never lets the burden fall on you and always stands by your side, ready to defend you.
One thing he won’t tolerate is anyone belittling your role as his spouse, whether it’s from your family or his. He respects your choices and ensures that you’re comfortable before engaging in anything personal.
Fingon never rushes you into anything uncomfortable and allows you to make decisions, trusting your judgment and revealing his vulnerability. He sees this as a hopeful approach to overcoming the arranged marriage label that hangs over your heads.
Tumblr media
☆ . ࣪ ˖ ࿐ Turgon
Even if it were his father delivering the news that an arranged marriage was necessary to uphold the family name, Turgon was on the verge of overturning a table and vanishing before his father could reveal your name. However, Turgon knew he wouldn’t get far before being compelled to return home and address the situation.
It was the gloomiest atmosphere in recent memory when he was in the room, glaring at your presence as you entered with your family. The whole ordeal made him feel nauseous, especially when he observed how supportive his mother was in the matter.
Turgon didn’t speak or acknowledge your existence. If you were residing in your preexisting home, you both slept in separate quarters. He even made an effort to become familiar with your schedule to ensure you didn’t cross paths because he wanted to avoid giving the impression of any interest in making things work.
It felt like living alone with a brooding spectre who constantly muttered under his breath as though he was casting a spell. He was quick to anger and often directed his frustration at everyone around him, not just his and your parents. Congratulations, you were arranged to someone who unjustly blamed you.
Like his cousins, you had to assert yourself and demand respect, forcing your voice above his constant grumbling.
“Listen, I’ll make this clear just once, so don’t make me repeat myself. Stop blaming me and direct your frustrations at my parents and yours. We’re in this together whether we like it or not—so accept it and put an end to the complaining, just like I did. We’re going to make this work—we don’t have to share a bed or be best friends, but we should find common ground and understanding. I won’t accept ‘no’ as an answer, as it’s proven to be pointless, so stop whining and work with me!”
You earned his respect because no one had the audacity to confront him like that without fearing his explosive anger. From that day on, there was a subtle change in the household routine, like not avoiding your schedules and sharing the same space (excluding the bedroom).
Any attempts at conversation were initiated by you, and you had to strain your ears to catch his mumbled responses. When it came to public appearances, he was as stiff as a board and communicated sparingly.
However, it was his instinct to defend you and his family if anyone made disrespectful comments about your situation. That was something for him and you to contemplate, not for others to meddle in, so someone would be put in their place. That night, you saw the most emotion from him apart from his temper.
An incident like that brought you both a step closer to displaying your emotions and feelings, particularly your protectiveness toward him. As simple as it may seem, he wanted to know about your day and if anyone insulted you when you were out. It was a step in the growth of your relationship.
Tumblr media
☆ . ࣪ ˖ ࿐ Argon
Argon is fucking bewildered and struggling to comprehend the situation because he’s still a young individual being informed of an arranged marriage he never wanted. He responds with profanity and loud protests until his father intervenes to calm him down.
He despises every moment of it, particularly when he recalls how his cousins and brothers were subjected to the same process. He can’t believe he’s in the same situation despite his strong desire to find love on his own. Even if you were present in the room, his anger blinds him to your concern.
For days to weeks, you two may not exchange words, with occasional glances and stares being the only form of communication. Even after the marriage, he only engages in minimal conversation, ensuring your well–being and comfort in the shared space, though his tone is often filled with bitterness.
Initially, your marriage feels like cohabitating with a mere housemate, as your interactions are limited to household chores. Meaningful conversations based on your interests are virtually non–existent. It would take significant time and effort before either of you musters the courage to address the awkward silence in the house, ideally during breakfast.
“May I speak? No, it’s not about breakfast; it’s about us. We’ve been living like roommates for months, hardly even acquaintances. All we do together is eat and do chores. I know you’re still upset about this arrangement—so am I—but I’d appreciate it if we could replace this white noise with something resembling friendship. We’re already living together, so we’re past the stage of being strangers.”
Argon is genuinely sorry to discover that you desire more meaningful interactions rather than distance, which he had assumed. Your first breakthrough occurs when you jest about his misinterpretation of your gestures, breaking the awkward silence with a touch of Argon’s playful nature.
Following in the footsteps of his eldest brother, he emulates his gestures in the hopes of fostering a deeper connection. Although his emotions make him eager and impulsive, he doesn’t want you to bear the blame for his dissatisfaction.
Eventually, a level of vulnerability emerges in your discussions, allowing both of you to overcome this significant turning point in your lives. More joy and laughter infuse the household as you both express your opinions, views on the situation, and expectations for the future. Given his youth and the wealth of advice he’s received on arranged marriages, he engages in meaningful conversations to ensure you share the same expectations.
He has no intention of subjecting you to the mistreatment that others might inflict on their spouses, placing trust in you and expecting the same in return. For the majority of your marriage, despite lingering awkwardness, you manage to build a friendship with someone who is open and respectful.

I LIED I am elaborating on an entirely different AU instead!
This in my Kingship Russingon AU,
A.k.a: Finwe comes up with the funniest possible way of fixing his family drama.
The timing of this AU is set shortly after Melkor is released and starts causing problems on purpose.
Fëanor and Nolofinwe's rivalry has become hostile but not yet violent. They can no longer speak to each other without devolving into argument but they will rein themselves in at the behest of cooler headed family members.
Finwe can see this rift growing wider. At this point he's getting tired of ruling, he wants to retire with Indis and catch up with abandoned hobbies and spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. But if he were to do that now, who could he name heir? If he chooses Nolofinwe, Fëanor will explode and it may actually result in the whole of the Noldor splitting. If he names Fëanor, he is choosing someone who honestly doesn't seem to have any real passion for politics and Nolofinwe will take it as proof that he is lesser in his father's eyes and will probably never forgive him.
And there are other troubles too. He can see how the fued is destroying the rest of the family. Arafinwe's children spend more and more time away from court among the Vanya and Teleri and people are starting to spread rumours about them abandoning their kindred. Irissë and Tyelkormo have gone half wild, always in the woods and never in the eyes of their fathers' who are more and more disapproving of their friendship. Turukano grows colder and Curufinwe grows hotter and every family gathering balances on a knife's edge.
And then there's Nelyafinwe and Findekano. As inseparable as they've ever been on the surface. But Finwe is perhaps the only elf living who understands the way you act when you are hiding a love that you know will cause irreparable harm to those you care for. The fact that they are so devoted to each other even now, despite the atmosphere, creates hope that the divide will eventually blow over. Neither Fëanor nor Nolofinwe would risk losing their children over this.
And that gives Finwe an idea. He talks to Indis, to a few close advisors, confirms Arafinwe's disinterest, brings Nerdanel and Anäire into it. And announces to the Noldor, his plans to renounce his kingship and name his heirs.
Heirs.
He names Nelyafinwe Maitimo and Findekano Astaldo, to rule concurrently in his stead. Citing a desire for all factions of the Noldor to be represented and a steady rule that can weather all upheaval.
(In private he offers them a chance to be together. To be joined in a way that is unassailable by the Valar, who have imposed rules on love and marriage but have no desire to intrude on politics.)
(To Feanor he offers a legacy, his son will not have been named in vain but Feanor will not need to abandon his true passions to rule, it is a gift to his eldest and his eldest's eldest.) (To Nolofinwe he offers an apology and a compromise. In a better world he would be the heir but he is politically savvy enough to understand that that's not possible. Instead his son will carry the title and Nolofinwe will be their primary advisor. And in all honesty: Findekano has little interest in politics, Nolofinwe will be ruling alongside Nelyafinwe in practice if not in name. He cares very little about the name, in the end.)
It is not a perfect solution by any means. There is still anger, still resentment. But Findekano and Nelyafinwe swear an oath to the Nolder (to each other), to rule together (to be together), to love their people (to love each other), to rule with wisdom and equity (to put aside arguments, to be equals, to be together, to be together.)  And it is hard to hold on to rage in the face of hope for the future. For the first time in a very long time, the Noldor are unified.
(Melkor is going to need to find a new technique)

The White-Scaled Dragon Princess Part 2
Tumblr media
Part 1
You have found yourself a home in the new land, far away from Westeros and those who would wish harm upon you and your dragon. But then you face new types of challenges when you befriend a Noldor prince. Can you trust him and find a long-lasting friend in him? Will you ever overcome your fear of the world around you? Will you ever share your painful past with him? And could you possibly even find yourself in love with the said prince?
Warnings: mentions of injuries, passing out, Meraxes frightening people, reader being socially awkward, fear of people, Fingon being a tease and charming, Meraxes trying to kill Fingon a couple of times, heavy angst, anxiety, self-hatred, self-harm, reader needs serious therapy, reader trying to overcome her fears, adventuring, comfort, Fingon being caring, mentions of depression, and a happy ending.
(Note: I tagged those, who wanted to be tagged in the previous part)
------------------------------------
- Three years had passed since you arrived in Middle Earth.
- You had found a new home with an elderly woman named Ioreth, who had saved your life when your injuries from your fall became too much for you, and you lost consciousness.
- Meraxes was the one to find her after you fell unconscious and possibly scared her into helping you. Luckily, Ioreth did not seem to mind treating you even though the dragon kept a careful guard and growled if she made sudden movements.
- You were first scared of her when you woke up, thinking she saw you as a monster and prepared to leave as soon as possible, but Ioreth then fed you and asked for your story, showing no sign of hatred or fear toward you.
- Feeling somewhat hopeful and trusting, you told her your story and how you got injured during a fall. To your surprise, she showed sympathy, and despite having been threatened to help you by your mountain-sized dragon, she offered a place in her home for you.
- She had seen stranger creatures, so she was not much phased by your scales. And you were nearly the same age as her granddaughter, so she would only feel awful if she sent you away.
- You nearly wanted to cry for her kindness. For your whole life, you believed no one would think twice before chasing you away and calling you a monster. And here was this elderly woman, who offered you a place in her home despite having been threatened by your dragon and knowing you only for a day.
- And thus, you began to help her with the everyday chores, wanting to make yourself use for her. You would help her with the cleaning and the gathering of herbs as she was an experienced healer.
- You might have shown over-eagerness to help her with everything as she snapped at you that she was not so old that she needed someone to gather her every need.
- You felt ashamed, thinking you had overstepped and annoyed her, but then she comforted you and calmly explained that you could leave the house chores to her while you could deal with things that needed walking and traveling. You agreed to the arrangement, and you began to get comfortable with your new life.
- You did find her home interesting since her house was built in the mountains, away from the nearby town. Ioreth explained she was not very fond of people and liked the peace of the mountains, which you partially understood, and it also worked for you since it meant you could stay near Meraxes.
- When you recovered and decided to live with Ioreth, Meraxes found herself a cave in another part of the mountains, away from the town, but not too far that you wouldn’t be able to come visit her.
- You incidentally made friends with Ioreth’s grandaughter, Freda, who was one of the only ones in their family eager to visit Ioreth whenever she liked.
- You first tried to avoid her when she came to visit Ioreth. You did not want to cause Ioreth trouble by frightening her grandaughter and making the townspeople think she lived with a monster. But then you accidentally dumped on Freda without your cloak, and her reaction was not what you expected.
- She reacted to you surprisingly well. She marveled the white scales that adorned your scales, touching them and tracing each line with her fingers. It was slightly overwhelming as you are not used to someone touching your scales like that. She stopped when Ioreth smacked her in the head and called her out for touching you without your permission.
- She apologized and then started asking questions. You couldn't quite keep up with her questions but tried your best to answer all of them.
- She then declared herself as your friend when you told her you did not have any friends in the mountain besides Ioreth. You were baffled by her because you had never met someone who just decided to be your friend after knowing you only for a day, but soon you became happy about it as she became one of your best friends.
- You adored her eccentrics and how many things she had to say. She was so full of life, and you do not think you ever had a friend that was someone of your age. Even the new maids you were given did not talk so much to you. On the contrary, they never spoke more than three words whenever you tried to converse with them.
- But despite your newfound friendship with Freda, you decided not to introduce her to Meraxes. She might have accepted you, but you did not want to risk her getting scared by your beloved dragon and have the whole town chase you away. Ioreth promised to keep it a secret, understanding your fear.
- But you did agree to visit the town with Freda’s encouragement.
- She wanted you to meet the rest of the family. You felt fearful of the idea of being seen by the townspeople, but you agreed as long as you got to keep your scales hidden by your cloak and the gloves she had gifted you.
- It was unnerving to have so many eyes on you when you walked through the town with Freda. You followed her like a lost child, but you tried to push yourself and see things you never allowed yourself to see outside the walls of your home.
- Freda’s family was kind to you and showed gratitude when they heard you decided to keep company to Ioreth, the stubborn woman refusing to live in the town with them after her husband's death.
- Their welcoming presence felt comforting, and to your surprise, they did not get upset or pressure you to uncover yourself when you told them you felt more comfortable being covered by your cloak. They were respectful and assured you they would patiently wait until you felt comfortable showing yourself to them.
- You honestly did not know what to make of it, but their assurance made you eager to visit them more often.
- After two years of getting to know Freda’s family, you decided to take the next step and show yourself to them. With your permission, Freda told them of your unique condition, and with enough prepping, you finally revealed your scales to them.
- They were surprised when you showed them your white scales, and for a moment, you prepared to face rejection and run out of the house, but then you were surprised by their acceptance. They welcomed you wholeheartedly and praised the beauty they did not expect you to have.
- Their constant praising left you flustered as you had never heard anyone call you beautiful— you were used to people staring at you and calling you unnatural. But, you rejoiced in their acceptance and now felt like you were part of the family.
- They even offered you to stay with them. You felt touched by the offer but expressed your desire to remain with Ioreth, and they respected your decision. But you became comfortable showing yourself inside their home.
- After three years had passed, you found yourself happy and having learned much about the world around you.
- It was shocking to realize that no one knew about Westeros and that creatures such as orcs and gods called the Valar existed. The three imposing mountains you saw in the distance were called Thangorodrim, and the graceful beings you encountered were called the Elves. It was a lot to take in, but the only reasonable explanation you could muster was that you had somehow traveled to another world.
- You would have deemed yourself mad if you hadn't experienced your new life. Feeling a kind of happiness knowing it meant safety from Jaeherys and those who sought your demise, yet also a tinge of sadness, realizing you would never know the fate of your father.
- You could only guess he had either been killed or executed.
- After three months into the new year, Meraxes suddenly fell ill. She exhibited reduced energy, ate less, and appeared noticeably grumpier than usual. Perplexed by the sudden change in behavior, you sought advice from Ioreth, who suggested that she might have ingested something that caused her illness, having seen similar symptoms in animals like pigs and cows.
- Ioreth had a medicine, but since Meraxes was bigger than any pig or cow, she would need to take a larger amount.
- You were worried for Meraxes, and around the corner was a celebration held by the town.
-  Freda had urged you to join in. Despite your hesitation, you didn’t have the heart to deny her invitation, especially when Ioreth was joining the party too. It was somewhat exciting as you had never attended a party that wasn’t held in your home or by your father.
- It was a type of celebration where the people would dress up and put paint on their faces to pay tribute to the Valars, so Freda suggested you would come to the party with your scales and additional paint.
- You didn’t feel comfortable with the idea, but when her younger siblings asked if they could do your hair and put the pain on you, you couldn’t bring yourself to refuse them.
- Freda and her mother seized the opportunity to pick out a dress for you, leaving you with no room to refuse as they were eager to dress you up for the occasion. It was a lovely dress that complemented well with your red cloak, which Freda insisted you wear instead of your usual green one. The combination popped out your scales, and Freda’s siblings did a wonderful job on your hair.
- They had also painted your face with beautiful white lines and designs that perfectly complemented the scales on your skin.
- You nearly mistook yourself for a mystical being and even found yourself beautiful. Freda and her family did not waste the opportunity to dress you for the celebration.
- You were still nervous when the night of the party arrived, but as Freda said, most of the town people had dressed up and painted their faces with colors. No one seemed to have suspected a thing when you walked outside with Freda, your scales showing and everything. On the contrary, you received many compliments and admiring looks when people realized you were Freda’s strange hooded friend.
- For the time in your life, you had fun at a party, watching people dance, playing songs, and eating a large variety of foods.
- You mostly stuck with Freda or any of her family members during the celebration as you didn’t possess strong social skills to talk with people.
- You then noticed there were also elves in the party. It was a rare sight since elves did not often visit human towns.
- Freda explained they were part of the Noldor. The age of peace had flourished since Morgoth had hidden himself away in his northern fortress, so the elves would always join a party whenever a chance occurred.
- You curiously observed the partying elves. It was curious to see them, and for a moment, your attention was taken by an elf who had braids and what seemed to be golden ribbons in his hair. He was quite handsome. His raven locks were nearly as dark as the night sky above you, and it seemed he enjoyed the party the most out of his kin.
- When it was time for a dance, you stood on the sidelines and watched. You liked it that way since you had never been lucky to be asked to dance before, so you never truly learned how to dance. Unknowns to you, you had caught the attention of the elf with the golden ribbons.
- Fingon, the energetic Noldor prince, had joined the party upon change, wanting to escape the court and his duties for one night. He enjoyed parties, and the Edain always knew how to throw an interesting one. He felt pity he couldn’t celebrate it like he used to with his siblings and cousins, but as long as it took his mind away from the darker things of the world— it was enough.
- He was in the midst of conversation and drinks with some friends till his gaze landed upon you. He nearly didn't believe his eyes. To him, you were drop-dead gorgeous. The red cloak made you stand out, but the white paint and the scale resembling stones that adorned your skin sparkled like diamonds. It was like Aule himself had dressed you in the earth’s finest jewels, and if it weren't for your rounded ears and your somewhat ordinary demeanor, Fingon might have mistaken you for a beautiful princess or even a Maia.
- Fingon was teased when his friends caught him staring at you and told him to go talk to you since he was clearly captivated by you.
- He only laughed them off but decided to follow their advice and approach you.
- You were startled when he suddenly came to you, and with his gentle yet teasing voice, he started talking.
- “Now, what would a lovely maiden like yourself be doing here all alone while others have fun dancing? Is the party not to your liking?” Fingon questioned teasingly.
“No… it's just,” you hesitated to answer. Fingon was captivated by your quiet yet soft voice and even more when he saw your violet eyes.
“I’ve never been much of a dancer, and I enjoy watching others having fun,” you finally answered.
- Enamored, Fingon continued conversing with you, complimenting your appearance. While you were somewhat charmed by his praise, you couldn't help but tease him. He was one head shorter than you, something you didn't expect when he approached you. He seemed a lot taller in the distance.
- Fingon found your shyness and wit endearing, and he continued to keep you company. He introduced himself, mentioning that he was the first prince of the High King Fingolfin.
- “I’m (Name), the daughter of the ki—” you quickly stopped, realizing what you were about to say. Fingon introduced himself in a manner familiar to those in the court that the etiquette came back naturally to you.
Fingon looked at you curiously.
“Just (Name), daughter of a simple man,” you fixed yourself with a fake smile.
- Luckily, Fingon seemed to have bought it, and you two then spent a fun night together, talking and joining some games. It was perhaps one of the only times you did not wish for a party to end.
- When the night came to an end, you two bid farewell to each other. Fingon felt shame that he had to leave so soon after meeting you. He would have enjoyed getting to know you more and then placed a kiss on the back of your hand as a goodnight. Your poor heart nearly exploded out of your chest by the act. You had never received such courtesy before, and you felt slightly ashamed that he was not kissing mere decorations on your hand but your actual scales.
- Freda teased you endlessly when you told her what had happened and how much fun you had talking with Fingon. You tolerated her jests through the night until the morning arrived.
- You considered going to the place where you had heard the elves spend the night in hopes of seeing Fingon again but decided to go to the mountains when Ioreth told you that she had prepared the medicine for Meraxes.
- You took your red cloak as your green cloak was at Ioreth’s house, then made your way to the mountain with Meraxes’s medicine. You two decided you would try to give Meraxes her medicine through a piece of meat since food was one of the only ways to convince someone to take their medicine.
- When you reached Meraxes’s cave, she was already waiting for you there. You greeted her, then handed her the meat you carried in your basket, letting her eat it from your hand and watching as the medicine seemed to have taken effect. She looked more lively and even asked for more.
- Relief washed over you as you gave her pets, but unknown to you, someone had followed you to her den.
- Fingon, who was preparing to leave with his kin, wanted to try to see you one last time before he had to return home. However, when he saw you leave your friend's home and make your way toward the mountains, he became worried since orcs and other creatures alike could be found hiding there. So, he followed you, only to be startled when he found you standing in front of a giant silver-scaled dragon.
- It had been ages when he last saw the ferocious golden dragon, Glaurung, and the fact that this dragon was bigger and had wings was enough to make him call out to you and draw out his bow.
- Meraxes was quick to go defensive and roar at the intruder.
- You were momentarily stunned as you had no idea someone had followed you to the mountain.
- Meraxes lunged at Fingon with her jaws open, but Fingon was quick to roll to the side, narrowly avoiding being bitten whole. Recovering swiftly, he drew his bow again, ready to aim for her one remaining eye.
- “No!” You yelled, pushing his bow away so that his arrow only struck Meraxes in the snout, aggravating her even further.
- You then saw how Meraxes’s jaws began to glow with the familiar fiery glow. She was intending to burn Fingon alive.
- Meraxes was protective and stubborn enough to ignore your orders, so the only thing you could come up with to save the elf was to grab him and run to the edge of the cliff. Meraxes released her flames, but luckily, you were quick enough to jump over the edge and slide down the hill before her flames could touch you. However, now you were sliding hard against the cliff wall with a far drop beneath you.
- Your claws helped you keep a tight grip on Fingon and slow down your fall, but then you lost your hold, and you both rolled down the hill before you finally reached the bottom, surrounded by forest.
- You both groaned in pain as you both suffered some cuts and bruises, but then you recovered when Fingon picked himself up and urged you to come with him before your dragon could find you again.
- You were quick to explain that she was your friend and she only attacked because he was an intruder to her territory. Fingon was confused, and you had to go into details about how she was your steed and that you had her since childhood.
- He only seemed more confused, questioning why you would want to harbor a creature of Morgoth.
- You then explained that she was not one of Morgoth’s creatures and that you both were from somewhere where dragons were common and could be received as steeds. You then revealed that the scales on your skin were no decor but actual scales, things you had been born with.
- Fingon seemed to believe you since he did saw how you used your claws to slow down the fall.
- To your frustration, you found yourselves on the other side of the mountains, far from the town and other people. Fortunately, you were gifted with a keen sense of smell, so you began leading Fingon back to the other side by following the scent of people. Despite the long walk and climbing, you didn't deem it safe to summon Meraxes. She would most likely try to kill the elf again if you did.
- Fingon started questioning about your origins and everything related to Meraxes and your scales.
- You tried to answer all his questions and assure him that you were not in league with Morgoth and that you came from a different place, a place he would most likely not find on maps.
- It took you half a day to finally find your way back to the other side, but before Fingon could leave to join his kin, you stopped him and pleaded with him to remain quiet about you and Meraxes.
- Fingon felt conflicted as it was one of his duties to tell what was happening on his father’s lands, but then you told him how you and your dragon had already lived three years without an incident and that you had nowhere else to go if you and Meraxes got chased away.
- You begged and even told him you would do anything as long as you could stay in your new home.
- Fingon felt a tug in his heart as you were sincere and looked like you were on the brink of tears. You saved him from the dragon but also loved the said dragon enough that you would choose to leave with it rather than abandon it.
- It was a complicated situation, and all he could tell you was he would let you know what he would decide to do with the knowledge and then left.
- Anxiety and troubled thoughts had haunted you ever since that day.
- It had only been three days since the incident, and you were already considering packing your things and leaving with Meraxes while you still had the chance. Ioreth tried to comfort you after hearing about the incident, but nothing seemed to work to calm down the paranoia that cribbled you from within.
- The thoughts became more terrible, and you started beating yourself for allowing such a mistake to happen.
- It even got to the point where you ended up with a manic panic attack and started scratching the scales off your arm, trying to trim them away.
- The lingering hatred you felt towards the scales resurfaced, driving you to scratch at them until the ground was covered in white, bloodied scales, and your arms were left bleeding from the numerous cuts and spots where the scales had once been.
- You would then silently cry and then clean up the mess before Ioreth could notice and get worried for you.
- With Fingon, he struggled to decide what to do. On one hand, he knew he shouldn't keep something like this hidden from his father and people. However, upon further reflection, he realized he didn't want anything bad to happen to you. Dragons were primarily associated with Morgoth, and given your half-dragon nature, it was likely that you would be ostracized or even chased away if the people learned about you.
- Fingon could tell that you were not lying about the things you said, and he felt a little awful when he remembered the desperate look on your face. Would he only be damning your life if he told your secret? You had not done anything suspicious yet, so maybe…
- Shaking his head, he then came to a difficult decision.
- After the fourth day, as you were helping Ioreth do some stitching, Fingon came to visit you. You were surprised as he had come alone and not with a mob of people like you had first expected.
- Fingon suggested a deal since you did save him from your dragon’s flames and helped him return to his kin. He would keep silent about you and your dragon, but to ensure nothing unexpected would happen, he would come to visit and monitor you.
- You accepted the deal without a second thought. It felt reasonable to you and it meant you got to stay with Ioreth.
- Fingon then began asking questions. He inquired about your homeland, your parents, and the reason for your stay in Hithlum. You answered honestly, sharing details about your background but omitting the parts about Westeros being in another world, your royal status as a former princess, as well as the circumstances involving your cousin and your need to escape.
- He also had strange questions, like if you could breathe fire and fly. They were the only questions that baffled you, but since Freda had asked similar questions on your first meeting— you were not bothered by them.
- You could not breathe fire to your knowledge, neither were you born with wings. The only special features you had were that you could see very well in the dark, had a keen sense of smell, and were physically stronger than an average man.
- The day went by quickly, with you answering his questions about you and Meraxes until it was time for him to depart. You thanked him continuously, trying to show gratefulness for his decision to keep your secret.
- He seemed sincere and told you to expect him to come for another visit soon enough before sending him off.
- The heavyweight from your mind was momentarily lifted. You were good at telling when people were lying, and Fingon was sincere through and through, so you did not have to worry if you could trust him.
- He visited once a week. Fingon questioned a lot about Meraxes and then about you. It seemed like he was trying to monitor your every move, but he quickly softened up, and you two started talking about yourselves. Well, you mostly listened to him talk about his life and what his family was like. You had very few good things you wanted to share with him, and you did not want to ruin the good mood he often brought with your sad life.
- You did fill out his curiosity when he asked about Meraxes and why she was so protective of you, and he seemed to have possessed some pity for the dragon when you told him how her previous rider died on her back.
- However, you decided letting the two meet each other again wasn’t a good idea, especially after what happened last time. You did suggest that Fingon would leave you a glove or something with his scent on it so you could try to get Meraxes used to it and avoid further incidents. Reluctantly, he agreed to the plan for the greater good. Unfortunately, Meraxes proved to be difficult, only growling at the scent and huffing away when you tried to tell her not to harm the elf next time.
- An unusual friendship was born between you and Fingon. His warm and forward nature made you eager for his visits, and you started asking more about Middle Earth and news around the world.
- One day, you dared to ask him if he could bring books and teach you his language. You held love toward languages and thought his people’s language sounded beautiful.
- When he agreed, you were gleaming with joy. It was perhaps the first time Fingon saw you smile openly, and he thought your excitement was adorable.
- You immediately started reading and learning when he brought you the books and took it as a little personal challenge to surprise him with your linguistic skills. You have always been a quick learner when it came to languages.
- Then Freda suddenly came to visit when Fingon was there. She was quick to take a protective stance when she saw him and realized he knew about your scales and even threatened to beat him up if he dared to do anything foul to you.
- You had to calm her down, though you felt touched that she came to your defense. She then gushed and teased you about your new friendship with the elf. She even teased if you had a growing crush on the elf.
- You profoundly apologized to Fingon for the encounter, but he only smiled. He found it admirable and complimented you having a good friend. It made you somewhat happy because it proved Freda was one of the first true friends you ever had.
- When you told him you had never seen much of the world around you except on Meraxes’s back, he suggested you two would go on an adventure together.
- The idea made you fearful as you had never dared to venture the lands on foot. You also felt a bit embarrassed since you had flown for most of your life and didn't know how to ride a horse.
- Fingon did not tease you when you told him. He encouraged you and assured you that you would be fine with him around. No one will dare to harm you in his presence.
- The voices in your head said no to the offer, but wanting to see the world at least once, you agreed.
- Your body was shaking and nearly refusing to leave the house when the day arrived. Ioreth helped you pack necessities, but it was like your conscious and body wanted to stay in the safety zone, pushing all kinds of thoughts into your head. You nearly changed your mind until Fingon arrived on his horse, and you managed to compose yourself somehow.
- You felt excited when you climbed behind him on his horse, and he took you farther from the town. It became easy letting him ride you around, and you finally saw things beyond the borders of the town.
- Fingon showed you all the beautiful sights of Hithlum. The fear and the blood rush calmed down as you were awed by the sights and things you never saw in the sky.
- However, you would start shaking when Fingon would pass some other towns, and people would look at you. You were covered in your cloak, so they most likely looked at you because of the height difference between you and Fingon. You were one head taller than him. You might have also held a bit too hard on him during your shaking episode and felt embarrassed when he gently asked you to ease your grip around his waist.
- You two then arrived at a good picnic spot and challenged each other in fishing. Fingon dared if you could catch a fish with your bare hands, and you accepted since you did have a quick reaction and keen senses.
- However, when you pulled up your sleeve and focused on the small shadows in the water, Fingon noticed the state of your arm. He saw how it was covered in small cuts and appeared to have missing scales. The redness of your skin concerned him, as your arm looked like something had scratched it hatefully.
- You then tried to snatch the fish from the water. You got a hold of the fish and pulled it out, but it then slipped out of your hands and fell into the water.
- You two laughed about it, and then Fingon tried to inquire about your arm. Your behavior changed as you explained you had a little incident and covered your arm. Nothing he needed to worry about.
- Fingon felt suspicious of your words but pushed it back as you two then had a picnic and watched the stars when the night arrived, having planned to stay the night outside.
- Fingon introduced you to most of the constellations and explained how Varda was the goddess who created the stars. You listened attentively, enjoying the stories and the sound of his voice.
- When Fingon mentioned the life he still had with his family in Valinor, you felt a small rush of courage and decided to share more details about your past life.
- You shared what kind of person your father was and how you were abandoned at birth by both your father and birth mother, and the only person who took you in and raised you was your father’s first wife. How most people treated you and how you were always known as your father’s half-monster daughter and the only surviving child out of all his other dead half-monster children.
- Fingon was first surprised to learn you used to be a noble lady, but then he threw a few jokes and called you ‘my lady’
- You did not correct that you were actually a princess and found humor in his jokes.
- You then revealed the true reason why you left your home, and Fingon felt sympathy for you, sorrowed how much hardship you had faced even though you were one of the most gentle-hearted people in his eyes.
- He comforted you, and you found yourself surprisingly relieved for sharing. You two then spent the night sleeping against the tree till morning finally arrived. Unfortunately, trouble arrived right at the crack of dawn.
- Fingon was still soundly sleeping till his ears picked up growling above him. He opened his eyes and looked up, seeing Meraxes snarling and glaring down at him with fury in her golden eye.
- “Well, I hope you are here to apologize for the last time,” Fingon said before closing his eyes again.
- You woke up to Fingon’s screams as your dragon dragged him by his foot.
- You quickly acted, running up to him and grabbing his hands before Meraxes could pick him up and swallow him whole.
- “Meraxes! Let go!” You yelled as you ended up playing tug war with your dragon, your elf friend being the rope.
- Meraxes ignored your orders, even when you tried to yell in high valyrian, so you then took out your claws and smacked her hard enough in the snout that she finally let go of Fingon’s foot.
- You both fell to the ground, but you quickly stood protectively in front of Fingon when your dragon tried to attack him again. You prevented her from getting past you and tried to tell her off.
- She growled at you. You finally had enough and snarled back at her, revealing your teeth and warning her off. Meraxes finally took you seriously and backed away, releasing crumbles and glaring at Fingon.
- You sighed in relief and started apologizing to Fingon for the mess. You were so eager to go on a trip with him that you had completely forgotten to tell Meraxes. She most likely thought he was trying to kidnap you or something.
- Fingon tried to calm you down and assure you he was not angry, but you dismissed it, having been unable to keep Meraxes out of trouble and nearly getting him killed for the second time.
- You then decided it was for the best that you two went home and flew back on Meraxes, feeling upset about the whole ordeal.
- The next week felt excruciating, and you started dreading the next day when Fingon was supposed to visit. What if he hated you now? What if he deemed you were unsafe to keep around, and now he would bring people to chase you out? Why can’t you do anything right?
- Those questions kept haunting you and nearly drove you mad. You did not dare to face Fingon again, but you also wanted to have some kind of answer to what he thought of you now. You did not want to lose the friendship you had with him. You liked being with him, and the thought of him hating you made the feeling worse.
- You looked at your scales, and the looming sense of self-hatred returned. If only you had been born without them, perhaps you could have lived a normal life.
- Your heart began to pound painfully against your chest, and your breathing became frantic as you started scratching the scales again, desperate to remove them from your skin.
- The scales dropped to the ground, and your arm began to bleed from the cuts you gave yourself from your claws. Your arm was burning with pain, but you ignored it and even started scratching your other arm out of its scales. You were too deep in your panic to notice someone approaching you.
- Fingon tried to call out to you, but when you ignored him, he then grabbed both of your hands, forcing you to stop and look at him.
- He gently calmed you down from the panic attack, but you looked away, pleading him not to look at you.
- He comforted you and then begged you to tell him what drove you to hurt yourself. He continuously assured you he was there to help, but he wouldn’t be able to if you didn’t tell him. You couldn’t take it anymore and started sobbing, confessing to everything.
- You told him what kind of life you lived as the half-monster princess, how you lost your beloved mother when you were sixteen, how you killed the knight who killed her, how uncaring your father was of her, and how you were punished living in isolation, how your birth mother isolated you from your only friends, how your father committed more atrocities and how he was the reason you were born like this. And the last thing he did was to tell you to run away before your cousin could find you and kill you for being a monster.
- You had no one else to turn to, and your half-monster side still prevents you from finding happiness.
- Fingon listened to you while caring for your arms, cleaning them, and adding healing ointment given by Ioreth after telling her what had happened. He gently bandaged your arms.
- He was nearly driven into tears by your story and how you possessed such self-hatred that you would even harm yourself.
- He now understood why you were so scared of the world around you and why you always wanted to keep yourself hidden.
- You then asked him not to hate you, as you genuinely liked him and wanted to keep him as a friend. He was one of your only friends besides Freda.
- He comforted you that he never hated you in the first place and that what happened with Meraxes was an accident. Maybe the two were never fated to get along in the first place.
- He then did something surprising and embraced you. He comforted you and assured you that he would never hate you just because your dragon doesn’t like him. He then kept telling you that being born unique did not make you a monster and that you were deserving of love and friends.
- He also told you he knew people who looked normal yet were just as terrible as monsters. Compared to them, you were innocent as a dove.
- You nearly couldn't understand his words, but the feeling of comfort in his arms was enough to make you hold on to him and cry.
- Fingon then held you and did not allow you to leave till you had shed all the pain and tears you needed.
- Fingon shared what happened with Freda, and the latter then forced you to live in the town with her family for the time being. The two believed you needed company and care so that you would not try to hurt yourself again.
- It helped a little to improve your state of mind, and Freda’s family refused to let you go out, insisting you stayed inside until your arms were healed.
- Fingon started visiting you more often, bringing elven remedies and helping you care for your arms. Even though you had the qualities of a dragon, you were still very human and thus vulnerable to infections. Fingon wanted to make sure you recovered without falling sick.
- But since you opened up about your past and cried all the bottled emotions you had held back over the years, you became lethargic, thus making you smile became more challenging.
- Fingon asked Ioreth and other healers what he could do to help you recover in mind and spirit, and one thing he learned was that music was a good remedy to heal someone from a depressive state of mind, so he decided to sing to you.
- You became captivated by his singing voice and music, and it did help you become more lively.
- Under his care, you started to look after yourself more, and to ensure you would not scratch yourself again, you trimmed your nails and claws. They would grow back, and that way, you assured Fingon you would not try hurting yourself again.
- Although you still had the habit of picking scales off your skin, but not bad enough to cause injuries.
- You even started going out again, mostly to visit Ioreth and Meraxes, though you were still upset with her for the incident.
- You even started ignoring your beloved dragon, confusing her. She once came near the town to see you and was startled when you angrily told her to return to her cave. However, you soon felt awful for snapping at her and apologized to her.
- You felt a little ashamed from the constant care by Freda and Fingon. In your home, such attention might have labeled you as short-tempered and overly emotional. Those were the traits you did not like sharing with your father.
- But then you began to notice something within yourself when you continued listening to Fingon’s music or looked forward to his visits.
- Your arms had gotten better thanks to him. The cuts had healed, and by the next month, your arms began to grow new scales.
- Fingon was gentle with you and was always happy to play you a new song. His care and willingness to still come visit sparked something within your heart.
- You two even got more things to talk about when you had told him your past, and the elven prince seemed not to have changed much, even throwing jokes and treating you like royalty.
- It felt too weird to be regarded as a princess again, so you asked him to treat you normally, and he respected your wish. Although he did boast how he was right since you being a princess was his first impression of you.
- Fingon somehow managed to keep you flustered, and it soon became obvious enough that you were falling for him.
- You denied it at first. You did adore him as a friend, but falling in love with him was too far of a stretch. You were blessed enough not to have him hate you for his two near-death experiences, but having him fall for someone like you was simply an impossible fever dream.
- Freda became excited when you shared with her about your feelings for Fingon and regretted it because now she was pestering you to go forward with them.
- You refused, and she said you were taking things too pessimistically. You should at least try to see if he had an ounce of interest in you.
- Freda had a good way with words, so you became haunted by the thought and started observing Fingon when he visited you.
- He seemed like always, and when you started taking walks outside the town, he was gentle with you and tried to keep up a good mood. You always listened because you enjoyed hearing him talk about random and mundane things, and he also started saying positive things about you.
- He continued how you had many useful perks, such as a keen sense of smell, so you could always find misplaced things, could see in the dark so light was a never problem for you, and the scales being a natural armor for you, protecting you from small things like flies and mosquitoes who loved to bother everyone. That part made you laugh because you never really had a problem with mosquitoes.
- His positive talking helped you to see yourself in a better light, though not fully removing the years of hatred you accumulated.
- And to your startle, you noticed signs that he might be interested in you romantically.
- You didn’t know how to handle that information. In a small part of your mind, it made you feel happy, but in others, it gave you new fears.
- After being constantly pestered and advised by Ioreth that you should grasp happiness when it's offered to you, you decided to make a bold move and ask Fingon if he could take you on another adventure.
- You reasoned that revealing your past to him helped relieve the heavy weight from your chest, and you were also tired of living in fear all the time. You wanted to experience all that life had to offer before the end of your time.
- Fingon excitedly agreed, but he questioned if you were comfortable with the idea as he wanted to avoid pushing your limits.
- You assured him that you wanted it. You did not want to keep hiding all the time. You just needed to assure Meraxes this time and ensure she would not jump to conclusions.
- Fingon then insisted he would come with you to see her, to show her he was not a threat to you. You felt hesitant, but to your surprise, your dragon did not try to kill him in sight when you two came to visit her.
- She did glare at him and crumbled while you told her of your plans, but she didn’t try anything and allowed you to leave without an issue.
- It was a surprising change, but then you figured she must have changed her attitude so you wouldn’t get upset with her and ignore her like last time.
- She was a stubborn old lady, but she always cared deeply for you. She was perhaps that overprotective, stubborn mother figure in your life– wanting to keep you safe from everything and making it hard for you to try new things.
- You and Fingon then went on another adventure. You still became nervous at the sight of people, but now you felt less afraid at the thought of traveling.
- Fingon showed you new places and even took you to see his home, which you thought was beautiful.
- At the end of the day, when Fingon escorted you back home. You had contemplated about your feelings for him and finally decided to confess. You believed it was best to let him know than to hide them since you had done it for most of your life.
- You stopped Fingon beneath a tree and told him of your feelings. How you had grown to adore his free yet gentle nature, how he had helped you see good in yourself, and how you had become less afraid of the world thanks to him.
- You loved the sound of his voice, and his presence was like that of a warm sun. The world had become less dark to you when he arrived in your life.
- You understood if he only saw you as a friend and then prepared to face rejection.
- But instead of rejection, Fingon smiled and told you he accepted your feelings. He confessed that he had loved you since day one.
- He then went far as to kiss the back of your hand like he did when you first met, making your poor heart pound with fluster before telling you he would be honored to court someone like you, a maiden with diamonds embedded on her skin.
- You began crying, not out of sorrow or anger, but for the first time, in joy. You had found someone who loved you in return.
- That night went like a breeze, but it was one of the happiest nights of your life.

Hi Eunoia, this is my first time requesting so I'm hoping I'm doing this correctly (I've read through your rules as well), but could I request a mini fic/headcanon about fem!reader reuniting with her lovers Fingon and Maedhros in Valinor after the Ring has been destroyed? (Plot: Reader stayed in Middle Earth after Fingon and Maedhros' deaths to look after Elrond, and only returns to Valinor on the last boat with Elrond, Bilbo, Galadriel, Frodo and Gandalf after Sauron is gone?)

a/n i reply after 1658565 years - I hope this is what you intended hun sorry if it isnt as you hoped to have
You stepped onto the shores with help of the son you had raised.
As you did – many fair elves turned to you, captured by the beauty and elegance you carried effortlessly without fail.
With eyes that spoke wisdom of many passed ages and kindness that could sweep the many ellon or elleth right under their feet – you stepped gracefully into the shores of Valinor from the last boat.
For a moment – your eyes looked back into the seas. . .Arda seemed almost a distant memory now and while you were supposed to return to Valinor many, many years ago to heal your aching heart and crying soul for your beloveds. . .
As a mother – you stayed behind, willing to put your heartaches aside to the twin sons you had gained.
Even though one of your adopted sons, Elros had chosen a different path in life. . .a short mortal life, you still failed to return, staying behind for Elrond.
For deep down – you knew he needed you and would fare well if you departed Arda so soon.
But suddenly your thoughts were grasped away when a voice called your name – mending a part of your heart with the lightness of that gentle voice.
“Melda. . .”
Your heart fluttered – then turning your eyes immediately those nestling browns of one of your lovers made half your soul crying out to him.
“Finno. . .”
Your voice – soft, delicate, and beautiful just as he remembered -like the early spring breeze.
“Y/N. . .”
He didn’t waste a moment longer to swiftly embrace you in his strong arm – caging you to his chest as if you were the air that he longed to have.
“You’re here. . .”
He said almost breathless – as if he was unable to believe his own eyes.
His hand came to rest on the back of your head – cradling your head as he pressed a kiss to your head, lingering there for a few moments longer.
“You’re here. . .”
He repeated – holding you tighter. If you listened carefully, you could hear an emotional tinge in his voice.
“Finno. . .”
You whispered – the tears you had suppressed for so long coming in with full force and Fingon did not hesitate to soothe you.
Soon gently lifting your face and locking your lips firmly in a familiar and almost forgotten kiss – soothing half of your crying soul as he embraced you with his tender affection and love, with touch of his desires he was forced to hold back as you were still standing among the shores.
The kiss was nothing short of what you had imagined with Fingon on your countless nights dreaming of meeting him – it was tender, loving, tearful and blissful.
“Come . . .”
He softly whispered.
“We shall meet Maitimo – otherwise he will think I have whisked you away all by myself, melda. . .”
Your heart fluttered as his loving tease just as you remembered came.
You smiled – cupping his face and stroking his cheeks – the imagines of his death finally leaving as he held you. . .your soul slowly reached that peace you had always dreamed of.
Fingon lips stretched into that charming smile that never ceased to flutter your heart.
The softest of red coated your cheeks and her fingers gently traced that smile you longed to see for many ages now.
Fingon reached forward and kissed your forehead – soon taking your hand to guide you to your Maitimo.
You momentarily looked over your shoulder – your motherly instinct making your eyes search for your son.
Elrond met your eyes and nodded encouraging – silently telling all was well as he embraced your daughter -in-law.
“I always knew you would be a wonderful mother – I am very much proud of you, my love – in everything you have chosen to do, no matter how gravely we missed you. . .”
Fingon softly whispered as his hand protectively held your small hand in his strong large hand.
“Thank you, melda. . .”
You smiled -Fingon’s ears perked up recognizing the change of your accent now.
If anything, it pleasantly surprised him – and he endearingly loved how your accent changed to hold only a tinge of your former Valinor accent now – now vastly an accent of Arda with a tinge of your old accent.
His eyes sparkled getting used to the change – realizing how much he already loved it.
“You sound beautiful. . .”
He said – cupping the side of your face gently for a moment.
***
Fingon led you towards the gardens of Lord Irmo – your hands were delicately brushing the flowers of the garden, each one unique to the next.
A vast variety of textures and color you couldn’t find in Arda – making you realize just how long you have been away from your birth place.
Maitimo saw Fingon walking towards him from the corner of his eyes – immediately standing tall.
“Where is she? I heard the last of the boats have-”
But Maitimo seemed to have cut himself off seeing your small figure treading up behind his male lover.
A shaky breath left Maitimo’s lips as his eyes locked with your eyes – the part of his soul that had being missing about to be reunited.
But you could see the clear hesitance in your other lover’s eyes.
Fingon turned to you – giving you the soft encouraging nod as you step past him towards your other lover.
Maitimo’s entire body froze – his eyes wide as you approached him.
It pained you to see him so nervous and scared – he gulped now that you were so close, only a foot or two away.
You knew why he was hesitant and scared – for Maitimo did not even spare you a glance or even spoke to you one last night as he fled from Eonwe’s tents with the silmarils.
He knew you broke your heard as he discarded you for the sake of the oath – he had placed the oath above you.
“Russo. . .”
You said softly reaching out to cup his face – he flinched stepped back a little.
Your heart ached at the sight. He must have seen the flash of hurt that crossed your eyes – because then he left out sigh closing his eyes heavily, before he fully crouched before you.
“Y/N. . .meldanya. . .forgive me. . .”
He whispered – a heartbroken whisper.
You sighed reaching out to cup his face and gently stroked his cheek – he instantly closed his eyes leaning into your touch and kissed your fingertips softy.
“Oh. . .Russo. . .”
You called him softly and pressed a kiss to his forehead as he broke into tears in front of his two lovers.
Fingon came forward – laying a comforting hand on Maitimo and an arm around your waist, his thumb caressing you softly.
“We’re here now. . .together”
Finno whispered laying another kiss to the side of your head – as Maitimo finally had the courage to find your lips in a soft kiss realizing you had forgiven him.
“Together. . .forever. . .”
You promised the two of them – now had you had your lovers back you weren’t going to give them up again.

Tolkien Elves with a South Asian Reader
Tumblr media
GIF by aashiqaanah
Request: Can you write an Indian reader insert story? It's ok if you don't want to share. 🙂
AN: While I don't want to write a specific nationality. I will write it based on the general South Asian experience. I hope that works and you like it. (also crazy story time my account was terminated for a while out there)
Genre: Romance and angst
Tumblr media
Erestor:
"How does my love rank lower than yours? What criteria do you elves use to measure the purity of love?"
"I would be more cautious on a sword's end," the black-haired elf moves his blade precariously close to your neck. But you find it hard to care for it at the moment.
The crisp breeze of the night seems to cling close to you. Besides your worn-out clothes do little to keep the chill away. You have long given up the hope of freeing yourself from the binding the elves have put you in. Instead, all your attention is directed at the elf who calls himself Erestor.
An unknown rage fills you as you glare at your captor. Maybe if it were another day you would have begged for your life. You would have done that for the people waiting for you back at your camp. Children and women, for whom you became the bandit of Laor pass.
You had not expected to be caught by a part of elves. It had been an evening like any and you had set your sights on the gracious rations that the party carried. Food that would feed your people.
It didn't take long for elves to catch you. The guards dragged you to their leader. And maybe you had expected scorn but not hatred that lined their leader, Erestor's eyes. "Your kind is not even worthy of friendship let alone love," somehow the conversation had turned into a battle of wits. "We elves know of it better than any. Back then and even now your people side with the evil" One of the guard's fingers dig into your arm as their leader spit accusations at you.
The unfairness of his every word tugged at your heart. How could he...how could he talk of something he knew nothing of.
You press closer to the blade digging into your neck. You look directly at the elf as you do so, "In a world where Gods live in far off West, abandoning the East, letting my people suffer from one of their kind without mercy. In a world where your kind forge jewels with the light of the stars and bid us to fight your battles that promise us nothing but the deaths of our starving children whose fathers fought for an oath-bound lord. Do you not remember the bargain of your lords? It is the same as any other dark lord." The elf flinches as your words ring out loud in the night.
"Tell me why did my people had to pay for your kind's need to create. We lived in peace before your king forged the rings that brought us ruin." Your breath comes uneven. Unnoticed by you, hands holding you have long retreated. "From past to present, we the people of the East have borne the burden of the West. Our people have been thralls in the halls of darkness as you fought your righteous battles. And they have done so for their children as you have done for yours."
You stand up from where you have been kneeling. Your knee throbs with a subtle ache. No one dares to stop you as you step close to the leader whose eyes evade you.
Your voice resonates with a mix of anger and sorrow, and the intensity of your words leaves the elves around you momentarily speechless. Erestor's grip on his sword loosens slightly, his stoic expression faltering as he tries to find a response to your passionate outburst.
"In every battle waged, in every great design, it's our people who suffer the most," you continue, your voice unwavering. "While your kind sits in palaces adorned with stars, basking in the light of Valinor, it's our children who starve, our homes that burn, and our dreams that shatter. Your measure of love may be different, but I ask you this, Erestor – what do your people know of sacrifice?"
The tension in the air is palpable as the elves exchange uneasy glances. Your words challenge the very foundation of their beliefs, and Erestor's eyes finally meet yours, filled with a mix of defensiveness and curiosity.
"Do not think that you know the struggles of my people," he replies, his voice tinged with the remnants of anger.
Next to crackling fire, the camp stands at a stalemate in the battle of words. Pride, rage, and sorrow are the kindle to the burning flames.

Fingon:
Fingon had been traveling with Maedhros when he first met you. A courtier at one of the Eastern kingdoms.
Dressed in gleaming rubies and emeralds, armed with a lute you stepped into a hall full of men and elves. Your eyes lined with kohl and your hands bearing the marks of henna.
In a hall that glares at you with contempt and lust, you do not cower. Instead, you look everyone in the eye. Even Fingon gets to meet your unflinching gaze.
Bending at your waist you bow to the king seated on the throne but even that bow fails to lower your majesty. There is a knowing light in your eyes and a condescending smile on your lips.
"This is Y/N, our esteemed entertainer for the evening," the king introduces you. Musicians line behind you. "Come on Y/N show your elven guests here the courtesy of East. Sing them a song and move your feet to a mesmerizing dance." It seems wrong for the king to order you. Unfair for you to be presented as an object but you do not seem to be offended. Seemingly above everyone in the court.
If Fingon suspected you to be a disguised Ainu at your first glance, his suspicions turn into awe when you perform. The world seems to rest on your fingertips and time seems to blend into your steps.
Fingon's fingers move mirroring yours. He does not know the words but he does not need to know them to understand them.
Your song mocks the king who seems to be blinded by the monopoly over your body. The anklets you wear do not hinder you. And Fingon's breath hitches the second your hair comes undone. As if hearing his thundering heartbeat you look at him.
Amidst the thunder of applause, you look at Fingon. And you smile not with contempt but with something that Fingon reflects back in his own smile.
Hidden in the binding of this body, my soul shines bright,
It yearns for our eyes to meet, bending the rules of wrong and right,

Maedhros:
"I will marry an elf." The loud declaration silences the entire camp. It is followed by cursing voices and sounds of shushing pleas.
However, in doing so it garners the attention of the elf lord, Maehros. The one who seeks to reunite the East and the West of Middle Earth to defeat the Dark Lord.
While men fawning over elves had been no surprise for most, it was at this point an irrefutable fact. The secondborn seemed to be attracted to the firstborn like moths to a flame.
But this kind of open declaration was still...unheard of. Both elves and men had acknowledged the weird attraction and mutually decided to ignore the innate instinct.
This silent treaty breaks with you. And Maedhros cannot help but be intrigued. So, he hunts for you. Away from prying eyes that would cook rumors, Maedhros finds you by the vegetable garden that seems to have the entirety of your attention.
"Why must you marry an elf?" The eldest Feanorian tries not to laugh when you jump almost a foot high at his unannounced arrival. The shovel in your hand flying away.
With a hand on your chest, you turn to look at him. A frown adorns your forehead, "Ai, can you not scare me?" You do not address him as a lord or a prince. Maybe just don't know or maybe you do not care for it but Maedhros cannot find it in himself to take offense.
"Forgive me for that," Maedhros apologizes and much to his surprise you look nothing like the embarrassed woman he had expected to confront.
Instead, with the confidence of a preening peacock you seat yourself on the ground. "It's quiet alright. I do have to get used to it if I am to marry one of your kind," you understandingly nod. And Maedhos marvels at your nativity. Unblemished in the Adra that has been marred.
"I want to marry an elf to teach all the men of my community a lesson." You reply in a solemn voice. "I grew up watching my father beating my mother. My grandfather insulting my grandmother without a care of her heart. I grew up in the patriarchy of the East. With men who cared not an ounce about their partners." Maedhros cannot bring himself to speak. Not even when you sniff. There is pain there. Helplessness of a being he deemed to be untouched by anything mal a moment ago.
A pain that rips his heart. The tears of his own mother come to his mind. Deed of his father and his brothers that would haunt their mother.
So he listens attentively as you continue with determination in your voice. "I will marry an elf to teach every single man in my life a lesson. I will show them how much my husband will love me," you smile through your tears. It isn't blind infatuation that Maedhros expected but something deeper.
"Your kind treat your female so much better and I...I want that for my kind too. I want to hand back my sisters, my mother, my aunts their self-respect that men have rolled in dirt."
A sane part of Maedhros yearns to tell you of elves. Of how his father left his mother, how his grandfather married another, how Thingol discards the wisdom of his wife, or how Eol captured Aerdhel.
But he cannot. All he can do is, pat your head in a comforting gesture and pray for the success of your mission.
"Will you marry me then?" you propose to the Feanorian who snorts the very next moment.
