I'm slowly recovering from the NCC finals and whoa, what a trip!! I'm not gonna lie, I was lowkey stressed almost the whole time, but in the end I'm glad I was there. It helped a lot that I had such nice people around. The Finnish team members were awesome to travel and hang out with! Also big big thanks to my friends who I couldn't spend much time with during the con, but who still traveled all the way there to cheer me on and showered me with love after the show 💖

I knew I was not going to reach the top with my costume (not because it's not well-made, but because it's more on the simpler side and there were so many amazing costumes) but I'm content with it anyway. My skit is really my love letter to Yakuza games, so I put my heart into performing it again. I'm glad many people were moved by it.

We were in a really good company – amazing cosplays and performances all around! And I'm so so so proud of my fellow countryman Faroni for taking home the trophy!!! He's such a skilled costume maker and performer plus an absolute sweetheart. I'm really over the moon for getting experience this. TORILLEEEEE 👑

⚡Apex Legends Wattson -cosplay, Desucon Frostbite 2023⚡ It was so nice to cosplay after like, a ten year break huh. I was overwhelmed how many of you recognized me and wanted to take photos, thank you! As a non-binary person it was quite the challenge to cosplay a female character, the dysphoria and imposter syndrome was bad. But! I'm glad I managed to do it. Credit of the photos goes to my partner behind the camera of my phone. I'm a bit bummed that the weather was so bad and we only had the phone to take photos with but,, definitely better than nothing!

This is our awesome Cells at Work group that performed in the opening and closing ceremonies in Desucon 2022, Finland! 🩸 I’m AE3803 aka the red haired red blood cell.

The Cells On Stage team was led by me and the scenes were written by Myy (ponytailed white blood cell). Costumes were made/put together by the team – I myself handmade the red blood cells’ hats and the little lactic acid guy. 🐮 We planned the show for a few months and then had some remote script readings over Discord + four days of live practice in total + dress rehearsals on stage before the actual shows. The schedule was tight but we had just the right team to make it work. ❤️

In the first pic you may spot some of the little gags we hid in the show, some of which are probably only comprehensible for Finns :D

In the opening show, the cells were visited by a “BIG” and “TERRIFYING” “VIRUS” (aka a puny little vaccine, with a crown made out of a Corona beer case), which was later followed by an actual threat – you know who! Luckily the brave immune system cells knew just what to do to save the day! Especially the knightlike white blood cell U-1146... 😳💓

The closing show was more of a collection of humorous scenes from inside the human body as it survives through a convention weekend. Lots of chaos! But in the end, conventions make you happy, so they make your cells happy!

Maybe the last week? this cover of the book 'I Prefer Girls' by Jessie Dumont it went viral in the artist comunity and a lot of people made a parody (as me) with their saffics ships and I could do that too... but my brain did an insane amount of backflips and ended with this idea.
