First, canon does not say that. Canon leaves room for interpretation.

That being said, do I think canon intended for the player to interpret this way? Sadly, yes. I believe that was the intention, the way it was written and conveyed, to reduce him to a laughing stock (once again, nothing bad with being a bottom and bad in bed per se, it's about the delivery), and it worked, as per 90% of comments under any Raphael Reddit thread, YouTube video.

“Two pump chump bottom cringe clown" (c) would now remain to be Raphael's mainstream legacy. Do I still think it's juvenile to reiterate this point ad infinitum? Yes!

Do I hate it? Honestly? Yes. I personally hated this whole part, it would be dishonest of me to claim otherwise.

After this encounter if it was written LIKE THAT I don't think we would have seen Irenicus in top-10 game villains of all time. Why would I take Irenicus seriously if his creators didn’t?
