Part two…
Here is the second part to the Jane rizzoli request.
Pairing: Rizzoli and Isles x reader
Summary: y’all probably get the gist except this involves some torture and some harsher topics.
******************************************************** To Be Continued…
You pulled your car into the unsubs driveway knowing everyone was hot on your tail, grabbing the bulletproof vest and pulling it over your head you fastened the straps around you and I holstered your gun, you placed your flashlight under the gun hand allowing it to rest on your wrist.
You entered the dark house and turned multiple corners hunting the man down, you ventured into the basement but nothing, you climbed back up the long staircase but as you turned the corner, before you knew it though a large metal bar came swinging towards you making contact with your ribs it caught you off guard but the foot to the chest sent you barreling down the stairs. You tried moving but it was hard, you knew there had to be bruises on your ribs. As you laid there you heard footsteps descending and strong hand picked you up from the floor and made contact with your face, you could taste the iron on your tongue as blood poured from your lip, you face was scratched already from the fall but the punch didn’t help. He landed a few more hits to your midsection and leg with the pipe before you heard the doors upstairs and another set of footsteps.
“Y/N! Y/N are you in here?!”
“Jane.” You whispered, you heard him run back upstairs and you tried moving again, you could hear the commotion upstairs and knew it wasn’t good. You willed your body to move despite every nerve feeling like it was on fire, you could feel the blood running down your lip and you spit next to you watching dark red mixed with saliva hit the cement floor. As you came to the top of the stairs you saw he had Jane’s gun as she held her hands up defensively in front of her.
“Please don’t do this.”
“Oh sweetheart you think you’re special.”
“No but please I treated my partner horribly and all I want is to help her now let me do that and you can go free.”
The unsub laughed, “you think you’re the first cop to pull that, let me tell you something, you aren’t the first cop to beg for your life and you won’t be the last.” He laughed again went to pull the trigger as Jane yelled and tried shielding herself. You fired two shots before he could even pull the trigger and she heard them looking up she saw a very beaten you and the unsub laying face down his blood pooling around him.
“Y/N… you’re okay.”
“I’m a little messed up but nothing I haven’t seen before.”
“I’m so glad… listen I treated you horrible earlier and I want to apologize, I never should’ve done that. I’ve been nothing more than excited to work with you and I’ve done nothing more than show you that I want you out and I’m sorry.”
“Jane I understand it’s not easy to lose a partner let alone a good friend, please though let’s get out of this house, I’ve had enough trauma for one night.”
you both walked out side being met by everyone else plus medical personnel, CSI and other detectives. You made your way back to your car and tried getting the vest off but you were having trouble lifting your arm because of the pain, you were about to give up and cry when you heard a gentle voice.
“you want some help?” You turned around quickly but relief flooded your features realizing it was Maura.
“honestly yes please.” You said and let her come up to you, she only stood about two inches shorter enough that you almost couldn’t tell, and you watched as she was so focused about not causing you any more pain, delicate fingers unlaced the velcro straps from around you, you visibly winced as she slipped the vest over you head.
“You okay?”
“not sure…” you whispered.
“Looks like you took some hard hits… can I take a look?”
“I…um… I guess so.” She slowly nodded making eye contact and then looked down lifting your shirt. She ran light fingertips over the already purple bruises displayed across your ribs. You winced when she ran her thumb over one in particular and she stopped in her tracks not wanting to cause more pain, just lightly resting her hand shielding the area, bringing warmth to the bruised skin.
“I think you need to go to the hospital.” She said pulling your long sleeve shirt back into place.
“whatever you say doc.” You said with a wincing smirk.
“Let me drive you she said reaching for your keys.”
“I think I can manage.”
“No, I’m the doctor and I say you let me drive, besides I need you all fixed up for our date later on, you promised the best food from that hole in the wall.”
You chuckled, “God this hurts.” You watched her as she helped into the passenger side, she started the car driving you to the ER, she quickly let Jane know where you were going and that you were going to be okay. After arriving and the staff checking you over you were admitted for the next two days, Maura stayed with you, even swinging by your house to get you some supplies. Everyone came to visit you including Jane and you spent the first night just getting to know everything about each other.
“Hey Maura about what I said.”
“Hmm.” She said mouth full of take out that she’d just brought in.
“I need to be honest.” She glanced at you with those amber eyes and studied as you decided how to say it.
“I was in a relationship before I left the BAU, she was great but work and family and things just didn’t work so we ended things but we still keep in touch and we’re friends…”
“Oh God, wait, if I overstepped and you don’t have feelings I’m so sorry… I’ve never done that with a woman before and I just…”
“no no no, it’s okay I just wanted you to know that I was serious. I would love to take you on a date but I didn’t think you swing that way and I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.”
“I mean is it different yes but something about you draws me in and I can’t explain it. Before I met you there was never an interest in women but now I think I’d like to give it a try.”
“Well in that case I think a date would be a great idea… Dr. Maura Isles, chef medical examiner of the commonwealth, will you let me take you to dinner?”
“I would love to!”
After a couple dates to two decided to tell Jane, though she already knew something was up. You two continued to bond over things like baseball and various sports, you’d done plenty of late movie marathon nights with her and even the whole group. You were beginning to feel like you belonged and that this is home. This was going to be your new found family and a part of you was okay with that, a part of you loved the idea of being with this group for years to come.

Let Me Take Care of You

"You need someone to take care of you." Frankie finally said.
"I- huh?" You questioned, taken aback as you lifted your head from its place on the back of your chair.
"Look at you, Y/n, you look like you haven't slept in weeks. You can't even keep your eyes open at work," your partner continued, gesturing to the dark circles under your eyes, which you were presently rubbing at.
"I do not-"
"He's right, you know. Wood is long gone, but you still appear to be exhibiting symptoms of insomnia, likely due to the severe post traumatic stress disorder that...you're...experiencing..." Chief Medical Examiner Maura Isles' voice began to trail off at the look you shot her way.
"Oh, so you'll talk to Maura about it, but you won't talk to your own partner."
"Well, no, she didn't say anything to me, I just assumed that since-"
"Since what? Since I was held hostage in my own home? Since I was drugged? Since I was beaten, since I was raped, since I was tied down to my own bed? What did you assume, Maura?"
"Y/n, Y/n, she didn't mean anything by it, come on." Frankie tried to calm you down.
"No, I'm tired of people tiptoeing around me and- and Maura hiding behind fancy words and- I'm not broken, Maura-
"Post traumatic stress disorder is very common, it doesn't mean-"
"No- stop, just stop! I can't- I can't deal with all the pity and sympathy and medical mumbo-jumbo crap today- I can't. I can't." You started gathering your things.
"Woah, hey, what's going on in here?" Jane asked as she entered the room, Korsak and Frost trailing behind her.
"Nothing- I just- I was just leaving. I feel sick, I'm taking the rest of the day off." You mumbled, moving to rush past her.
"Y/n, wait-" Frankie reached out to grab your elbow, in reaction to which you let out a scream and stumbled forward in your efforts to pull yourself away. You stumbled right into Frost, who grabbed your shoulders to steady you.
"Careful," he said, promptly releasing you to avoid any further hysterics.
"I'm fine," you muttered, then escaped before you could embarrass yourself any further.
"What the hell just happened?" Jane asked, looking between her brother and her friend.
"Did you guys try talking to her?" Frost asked as he made his way to his desk.
"A swing," Frankie motioned like he was swinging a baseball bat.
"And a miss. Something I said seemed to upset her." Maura finished.
"Pretty sure that 'something' was the blunt diagnosis you threw at her." Frankie countered, shaking his head.
"Didn't she already know? I thought she was seeing someone for it." Maura said, surprised.
"She was," Frankie started, "she quit going after two sessions."
"What? Why would she do that?"
"Because she's in denial." Angela said as she entered the room.
"What're you doin up here, ma?" Jane asked.
"I came to ask someone to go check on Y/n." she replied, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Ma, she just left. I'm sure she's fine, she just needs to cool off." Jane disagreed, shaking her head.
"She didn't look too good, and I've got a real bad feeling. Come on, kids, please? Just go see if she's doing okay."
"Bad feeling? What kind of bad feeling?" Maura asked, stepping closer to Angela.
"The motherly kind. Frankie, she's your partner. Shouldn't you check on her?"
"Alright, alright, I'll head over to her place." Frankie finally gave in, standing and shrugging his coat back on.
"Ohhh, thank you honey." Angela grabbed his face and kissed his cheek, in response to which he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah."
"Y/n?" Frankie called out as he opened the door to your apartment. He shoved his keys back in his pocket, and was startled when he was greeted by the barrel of your gun aimed at him. "Woah, woah, hey, it's just me!" He exclaimed, raising his hands. You were standing in front of your couch, your gun clutched tight in your hand as you stared blankly at your partner.
"Frankie? How- how did you-?" You didn't lower your gun. You just stared at him as he slowly stepped closer to you.
"You gave me a key, remember? It's okay, you're safe. I'm not here to hurt you." It was hard for him to see you like this. You were clearly exhausted, and looked borderline strung out. The trauma from what had happened to you hadn't faded since the day it happened. For neither one of you.
Your face shifted at his words, and your grip on the gun loosened. Frankie took the opportunity to take the gun from your hands and place it down on the coffee table. He barely had time to catch you before you collapsed into a sobbing mess.
"Its okay, its okay, I've got you." He reassured you.
For a moment, you were of the mind to resist. But as you pulled in a deep, sobbing breath, the familiar scent of your partner's cologne reminded you that 'yes, you're safe'. So you allowed it. For the first time since the incident, you allowed your emotions to flow from you freely.
And Frankie was grateful. He was grateful that as he pulled you down onto the couch, you chose to curl into him rather than push him away, and that as he lifted a hand to stroke your hair, you chose to hold onto him tighter instead of recoil in fear. For a while, there was nothing to be heard but the harrowing sound of months of pent-up trauma, and Frankie's voice as he softly whispered sweet nothings to you.
Once you had finally begun to settle down, he spoke up. "Is that my shirt?" He asked, tugging on the sleeve of the baggy old t-shirt that was definitely way too big to be yours. You let out a wet, snot-filled giggle at the question, and smiled for what felt to you like the first time in ages.
"Y-yeah. I-I stole it. A wh-while ago." You admitted. You looked up at hime, and were greeted by his sweet brown eyes and puppy-dog smile.
"I know ya did, honey." He chuckled, kissing your head. "Wouldn't be much of a detective if I didn't." You let out a quiet hum and sniffled loudly, swiping at your face with your arm. "Oh, don't do that," he chided you, then pulled himself off the couch. You let out a quiet mewl of protest, which he acknowledged by turning to look at you and smirking lightly.
"I'm comin' back, hold your horses. I can't let you soak in your own snot though." He chuckled as he grabbed a dish towel from its hanger and ran it under the sink. After wringing out the water, he returned to you, sinking back down onto your couch. He wiped all the evidence of your meltdown from your face, then simply looked at you for a moment. Pink began to creep up your neck and onto your cheeks.
"Let me take care of you." Frankie said. There was determination in his voice, along with a hint of pleading. Your face flickered with doubt.
"Frankie-"
"No, listen. I mean it, Y/n. The good, the bad, the ugly, all of it. Let me take care of you. I know- I know its asking for a lot, but...Please, I just-" He couldn't finish- only hold his breath as he waited. Instead of giving him an answer, you took the towel from his hands and set it down next to your gun on the coffee table. You stared at those two heavily symbolic objects for a minute, then chuckled softly to yourself. "What, what're you laughin' at?" Frankie asked.
"Okay." Your voice was barely above a whisper.
"Okay? Okay what?"
"You can try."
"I can- I can try?"
"Don't make me take it back."
Frankie pulled you back into him, and you were once again enveloped by his warm arms and familiar scent. "Please don't take it back."

Hello, can I please request Jane Rizzoli x fem reader. Reader is the new homicide detective at BPD and Jane's new partner. She is seen putting her things on Barry's old desk (after Frost dies), and Jane yells at her. So reader keeps her distance from Jane. Meanwhile, korsak, Maura, and Frankie all get to know her and end up really liking her. (Maura talks to Jane, and Jane ends up apologising, and j and r end up really close.) (Then idk how to end this, lol.)
Wait, I love this idea, like I'm kinda upset I didn't think of it sooner lol...
Pairing: Rizzoli & Isles x reader
Summary: You just read over it above. :)
******************************************************************
You pulled into the parking lot down the street from BPD stepping out of your Jeep and making your way into HQ. As soon as you walked in you felt overdressed, you were used to the BAU, where suits were everywhere, and with you being unit chief it was typical of you to wear something that stood out, whether out of the norm colors or some muted but outgoing patterns. Today you went a little safer but still a nice tailored Italian suit with a window pane check pattern, a white button-up, and matching white heels, it was simple but enough to make you stand out. You saw heads turn and watched as you showed your badge and made your way upstairs, the elevator ride was quiet up by yourself was quiet, but as soon as those metal doors slid open you felt at home, it was chaotic. Still, you chased serial killers all over the country this seemed like a cakewalk to you.
You walked through the set of glass doors to where the detectives desks were, Cavanaugh had told you early just to pick a desk that was open, and you would be assigned your partner or squad later, you looked around and found an open desk that faced another desk it seemed pretty empty except for the action figure placed next to the computer. You set your purse on the chair and made your way into the computer room at the other end, walking in you saw a small group of three crowded around the front desk, a younger man, fair-skinned with raven hair and deep eyes, a younger black woman with gorgeous curls and an older gentleman. As you entered they all looked at you with trained eyes.
"Hey so I'm not sure who Jane Rizzoli is, I'm with but I'm the new homicide detective, Y/N Pierce." you spoke up.
"The transfer from the FBI?" spoke up the older man.
"Yep that's me." you smiled.
"Your my sister's new partner. Nice to meet you I'm Frankie," the younger man offered you his hand to shake.
"I'm Vincent Korsak but feel free to call me Vince, welcome to the team." spoke the other man.
"And I guess that leaves me, I'm Nina Holliday, and I know what it's like to be the new girl so if you need anything let me know."
"Thanks I appreciate that," you both smiled in response.
Before anyone could say anything else, a drop-dead gorgeous woman stepped through the door, strawberry blonde hair laid perfectly and breathtaking amber eyes, she quickly spotted you and nodded but continued to talk to the team.
"Hey guys I got the tox reports back," she flicked open the folder handing it to Nina.
"Etomidate?" they all gave confused looks.
"Wait like the drug used during surgeries... It's a CNS depressant but it's used for minor procedures because it doesn't last as long."
"Um...Yea." She studied you with precise eyes as everyone else started at you wondering how in the world you knew that. Before anyone could say anything a woman rushed in the room, "Guys there's been another murder, we gotta go."
Everyone looked to you, "Jane I'm assuming." and they all nodded, everyone rushed from the room, leaving just you and the doctor and she stopped you on your way out the door.
"I'm Dr. Maura Isles, by the way, chief medical examiner."
"I would say Unit Chief SSA Pierce but my FBI days are over," you looked into those amber eyes and your breath caught in your throat, this woman was going to be the death of you and you barely knew each other, "I would love to tell you about it but I guess my new partner has other plans." you gave her your signature smirk and turned to leave but she flashed you a wide smile and chuckled, "Yea that's Jane for you."
----time jump----
Three hours later and you were returning to the precinct, you could tell it was taking a toll on everyone, it was a pretty gruesome crime scene but something felt familiar to you. Jane told you she was going down to see Maura but then she'd be up, you quickly made your way upstairs with everyone and sat at the empty desk, you logged on the computer and started looking at the board they had set up, you were talking with Korsak and Frankie reclining in the desk chair looking at a file when Jane came in. You stood up and almost bumped into her as she stood frozen in place.
"What're you doing?"
"I'm sorry." you responded curious.
"Why are you using that desk?"
"Cavanaugh just told me to find a desk, luckily i found the one closest to you."
“No, no you can’t sit there that’s my partners desk he… he…”
“I am your partner.”
“I… just leave okay please just find somewhere else.”
you studied her and grabbed your jacket moving over to Frankie’s desk as he motioned to you, she sat down and didn’t look as everyone returned to working.
“There’s a story there,” Frankie spoke up.
“Yea I figured, it’s all good though I have to make some calls and then I’ll be back let me know if you hear anything.”
“Will do.”
Your walked out of the room towards the elevator, you recognized some things from past cases but you needed to talk to Maura to confirm you suspicions. When you stepped on the elevator the woman inside greeted you she was carrying a division one cafe apron as she gave you a big smile.
“Haven’t seen you around here before, ya new?” She asked
“Yep, I’m the new homicide detective.”
“Oh no way my kids both work up there, I’m sure you’ve met them though.”
“Rizzoli?”
“that’s them!” She said with a proud smile. “So where ya from?”
“Well I actually loved from Quantico, Virginia where I worked for the FBI but I grew up in Seattle.”
“Oh that’s so cool.”
“Oh yea, I loved my job.”
Just then the doors dinged open and you quickly stepped out making your way to Dr. Isles office. She saw you coming and gave you a big breathtaking smile as you walked in the door.
“Y/N to what do I owe the pleasure.”
“Well for a lovely lady like yourself… maybe dinner at a nice little hole in the wall that I know,” you both laughed, “Honestly I’m down here to ask about some past similarities, these victims seem similar to some I’ve come into contact with before.”
“Oh well here’s everything we have, I can go over it with you if you want.”
“Yea an extra set of eyes would be great.” You started going over the files and a few hours later you realized who the killer was.
“Oh my God, we’ve known this whole time!”
“what?”
“This man he’s the only common denominator I remember writing the case in Chicago and he injected himself into the investigation and he just recently moved here and the killings started, Jane and Frankie talked to him the other day but no one saw the old FBI file the BAU had.”
“Wait so he’s a past killer?”
“Yes, and my team worked tirelessly to catch him but then he went off grid. Maura I need you to get a kit and meet us there, I’ll send you the address I need to get everyone else.” You quickly ran out of the room calling Frankie to tell him, as he told the team you made your way to the unsubs house…
