Spring has Sprung... Well, in some locations. We had an extremely mild winter and even reached into the 90s for a few days a week ago or so, but now we're a little frosty.
Still -- I thought it'd be nice to put up a video tutorial on how to make these simple spring flowers. I guess it's sort of a crochet along. I'm not the best at them, but I try my best. Something about going through a pattern vocally gets my mind mixed up sometimes.
What can someone do with flat crocheted flowers? I have no idea because I never really crocheted any aside from a few last Spring that I have no idea where I put.
Maybe glueing them down to a cardboard or the backing of a picture frame and sticking them on the wall as wall decor? That's all I can think they someone can do with flat crocheted flowers. Or maybe you can add wire to them and shape them... Why didn't I think of that before? 🤔
Anyway, it's Spring and it'll be Mother's Day soon. Something handmade sometimes does the trick.
Anyway, Happy Crocheting! 🙂

bookmark i made that is officially my first completed project of 2023! used the free tutorial from youtube here from Jayda InStitches on Youtube c:
I used Aunt Lydia's size 10 cotton thread in scarlett with a 3.5mm hook. It's a little bigger than I would like, so future ones will definitely be done with a smaller one.

Serendipity Day Bag Crochet Pattern:
This is a wonderful little bag that is perfect for a day out and about. I purposefully designed this bag for Pride Month, but you don’t need to limit yourself to one month to show your Pride! Pride is the promotion of the self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and all others who fall under the queer umbrella (LGBTQ+). Pride, as opposed to shame and social stigma, is the predominant outlook that bolsters most LGBTQ+ rights movements. (Read more about pride here.) This bag is my small contribution to promoting visibility and Pride in who you are!

This morning Maha reached out to me. While Maha is in Germany, her family is still in Palestine - many trapped in Gaza. They have a go fund me to help their family evacuate.
The minimum GFM donation that can be made is $5, but every little bit helps. If you can, please donate, if you can't please spread the word!

@stolenlivers’ crochet blog
Hello! I’m an independent crochet designer! I love fun colors, graphics, and starting new projects over and over again. The main purpose of this pinned post is to have a pattern directory so it’s easier to go back to patterns as I post them, see below for more.
#liver crochet is my tag for stuff i’ve crocheted and posted.

Hey guys, just another free pattern. I'm releasing this pattern as a thank you to anyone and everyone who got me a little past 100 subscribers on YouTube. It really means a lot to me!
You don't have to name your Flamingo, but I named mine Florence when I created this pattern last year hence the name of the pattern. I've got this weird thing where everything's got to have a name sometimes... it's not just me, right?
Anyway, you can head to my Ko-Fi page to get a free copy of this pattern and remember you can always tag me in your creations on here or Instagram.
Happy Crocheting! :)
