I’ve seen people theorizing that the solangelo book is going to be based on the Orpheus and Eurydice myth so I had to draw Nico and WIll as Orpheus and Eurydice
The original painting is called Orpheus and Eurydice by Gaetano Gandolfi btw

Stand a little out of my sun.
the Dragon of Macedon meets the Mad Dog of Sinope
This combines elements from two paintings:
“Diogenes” by Jean Léon Gérôme
“Alexander and Diogenes” by Gaetano Gandolfi
This idea has been stuck in my head, but I couldn’t seem to translate it from my brain to paper, so I’m throwing it out there half-baked. The most frustrating thing is that in the Gandolfi, Alexander is literally wearing a dragon helmet, but I have not yet succeeded in making Kiryu look Kiryu-like with his hair covered. Apparently his defining features are animal, biped, and hatless.
