YOU MAY REMEMBER THAT MY BEST FRIEND FROM HIGH SCHOOL SAW THE MODERN FASH PIPELINE AS SOME KIND OF MYSTICAL WAY TO GET HERSELF OUT OF POVERTY & MARGINALIZATION) (SPOILER: IT DIDN’T WORK) (SO Y’KNOW. ANY TIME A “LITE” FASCIST STARTS DENOUNCING ANY KIND OF BEAUTY PRODUCTS/MAKEUP. RUN) while she’s aging like milk & posting loudly onto platforms she allegedly hates about how lonely & miserable she is while me & our other friends from high school--both of whom are my exes i still pal around with & both of whom are trans!!--are all goth & radical & hot & happy in our lives
