Thinking about how the foodie au has several categories of characters.

Like for instance, there's at least three Draxum made turtles (Slushie, Peppermint, Blackberry)

Then we have all the itty bitties. (Mellow, Gram, Toffee, Peppermint, etc.)

At least three ocean goers (Mellow, Gram, Chips).

The non-turtles (Cowtail, Caramel, Bluecrop Blueberry, Ichigo Miruku, Cotton Candy, and Cocoa who is not yet official).

Also, the Big Mama employees, of course. (Caramel, Milkshake, Waffle-ish, Kiwi, Chips, Muffin, Slushie, etc.)

Plus there are several that share colors or have similar types of foods for names. There are a lot of fruit/berries, for instance.

There's probably more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

Just wanted to share my thoughts.

So with it being canon that the Rise turtles find it absolutely disgusting and embarrassing to know that their dad had a dating life and gag when hearing him talk about lovey dovey stuff…

Soooo… I made this… just an idea I had. I’m not sure fully if I’m going to make it a full thing so we’re gonna see what happens!

This is the prelude to a comic idea I had. It’s the first comic I’ve ever really drawn so be nice about the style, I’m not sure how this may change.

Things you need to know, this page takes place about 3 years after the movie. Raph is 20, Leo and Donnie are 19, and Mikey is 18. Splinter passed away of natural causes while eating rainbow sherbet (as he said he wanted his last thing he ever did to be just that in the show). Donnie is the first to leave the lair, followed by Leo, and finally Raph, who slips away in the night. Mikey stays at the lair for about a month after all of his brothers go their own ways before he chooses to move on, leaving the lair behind. Casey Jr. Lives with Cassandra and April has her own apartment by her college.

some concept art for Mutant Apocalypse/Green Goddess Leo

Maximus Kong or whatever the fuck MA!Leo was called would have been fine if he hadn't been Leo.

So one of the minor tweaks to the Mutant Apocalypse is that Maximus Kong is NOT Leo but a separate character. Leo died the day of the M-bomb.

Sort of.

Being the only one trained in the mystic arts by Splinter *strangles the rat man in the background* gets to have side effects *Jazz hands*.

Long story short, let's let Leo LITERALLY haunt the narrative by taking the role of the "Green Goddess" Mira spoke of.

She will still be around! Since in my AU she died during her battle with the original Shredder, she’ll be a spirit who helps the boys, and then maybe eventually get a corporeal body. (The opposite of her Rise journey lol). But that’s all I’ll say for now! We should be seeing a glimpse of her soon!

Small brain: Donnie in the movie just so happened to be more touch averse, he was like that in the show too sometimes.

Big brain: Donnie became more touch averse after the whole Shredder fight and all the stress that came with it and after it.

N….not really? 😅😅😅 The closest my au gets is the Foot Clan and even then, once they realize their Beloved Son is a Hamato, they go about dismantling the dark armor real fast. And without the Evil™️ in their organization, they have no need to free the krang…

And since Draxum has a New Found Appreciation for humans since, you know, his son is genetically human, he sorta….abandons the whole mutagen thing, so none of the mutant villains are present…

Even the Battle Nexus is transformed into a more Ninja Warrior-esque competition…

Honestly, it’s all just interpersonal drama. It’s a lot of custody battles and divorcees getting back together lmao

The biggest villain of this au is Loneliness and Guilt.
