Nathaniel Bodyguard AU | Part 17 | 24/01

Nathaniel opened the door without waiting for a response and ushered Kevin inside. He immediately bowed his head upon entry, and Kevin followed suit.

The Lord stood with his back to them, gazing out the floor-to-ceiling windows like he owned the whole world. He didn’t even acknowledge their presence, taking a sip of golden whiskey instead. Confidence radiated off Ichirou in waves. It took guts to show your back to a Wesninski, let alone when one was armed. Ichriou wasn't even fazed, not an inch of tension across his broad shoulders. 

Their presence was nothing to him; he was that self-assured. The most impressive part was that it wasn’t bravado. By the time Nathaniel pulled a weapon, he would've already been shot three times in the head, dead. Ichriou got whatever he asked for, and he had the power to make sure of it.

“Nathaniel Wesninski at your service, my Lord,” Nathaniel announced in Japanese. “I have brought Kevin Day, as you requested.” 

Ichriou hummed around his glass in satisfaction. He turned and surveyed them with a look of pleasure, before gesturing Nathaniel away with a wave of his hand.

Blue eyes flickered over to Kevin so fast he almost missed it. It was there and gone, but Kevin saw it for what it was, a silent promise.

Funny things I found out playing with language setting in Netflix while looking episode 15:

Chilchuck's scream sounds HAUNTED in brazilian portuguese. Give it a try if you can.

In spanish dub, Senshi says: "tocó mis senos de hombre", which means "he touched my man boobs" in Spanish. And I think that's the best dub line one so far.
