bam, i made a flag
in order, we got bisexual, genderqueer, graysexual, genderfuck, quoiromantic, and arohaze!
explanations under cut
im bi but in a "i can be attracted to anyone" way, yknow? and bisexual means "attracted to 2 or more genders" so yes, that is still correct usage.
i use genderqueer and genderfuck interchangeably. genderfuck is more of a "gender is stupid" type thing but i use genderqueer in public
graysexual applies to people that only feel sexual attraction sometimes. personally i think i prefer aliquaromantic ("sexual attraction under specific circumstances") but whatever
quoiromantic means "doesn't understand/struggles to differentiate between platonic and romantic attraction and is unsure if they experience either". speaking of which im on the aplatonic spectrum and amorous (as defined by this website)
arohaze applies to someone who's orientation on the aromantic spectrum is neutral, inbetween, multiple, or unclear. i fall under the "multiple" here. specifically im recipromantic (only feels romantic attraction if it's reciprocated) and demiromantic (only feels romantic attraction when there's a preexisting emotional bond).
also, she/he pronouns 👍

So I see folks pointing out that Louis' circle A tattoo is more likely an aesthetic choice than an announcement of a political commitment to anarchism, and saying basically that that maybe makes him a bit of a poser and I mean- I GUESS. But I don't like to look at things that way and I don't think it's useful. As I see it the subversive sexiness of the symbols of resistance have ALWAYS been gateways for people who are drawn to the struggle in vague ways and that's GOOD. Aligning yourself with those values is good no matter the reason, in my book, especially given the wretched options available out there, but also the journey doesn't necessarily stop there. Gatekeeping queerness victimizes people who are just trying things out and starting to discover that it may run deeper than just trying on a new look who should instead be welcomed and helped along their path, and I fail to see how gatekeeping political affiliations is any different (plus how counterproductive to actual movement building is that?)
ANYWAY. What I really want to say about Louis is that while I KNOW that Louis is probably not secretly a theory reading anti-state communalist anarchist, I think that actually Louis' optimism and idealism (and his unwavering commitment to allying himself with the working class and embracing those roots) are a perfect fit for the philosophy and always have been. I know that anarchism is mostly understood as being about throwing molotov cocktails and fighting the state (and the allure of its symbols are that they signify this, a terrific aesthetic for him to choose to sign on with in my book), but that's honestly largely cartoonish stereotyping that comes directly from anti-anarchist state propaganda. That resistance is necessary in this hellscape of oppression we live in and is super important, but in its heart anarchism is only about the state in that the state and capitalism currently stands in the way of its goals. The whole point of anarchism is that it's NOT about the state! It's about being able to imagine something better than a state, it's about how we live and about how we SHOULD live, it's about HOPE and picturing something utopian and something free of the ways capitalism pits us against one another! What could be more Louis than that?
"I need you and you need me and I love that" is as beautiful a way of talking about the cornerstone of anarchism that is mutual aid as any long winded essay I've read (even if what he meant was contextually different), and I think when he talks again and again about how special the space fans have made around him is he is expressing an intuitive understanding of the importance of autonomous zones, places and moments outside of the shitty life imposed on us by the system (also a huge part of anarchist thought). Maybe I'm just being an optimist but I think that Louis DOES understand that caring for people and wanting self-determination and freedom for all and allying himself with the working class involves a certain amount of resistance to and positioning yourself in opposition to the state. Thinking the symbols of smashing that state are cool isn't meaningless; it's a CHOICE. There are other cool symbols out there and I just happen to think that feeling a resonance with certain ones is something in and of itself, even if at this moment he does not choose to start a fight with the media about it all.

i don't think people hcing charlie as transfem are trying to dismiss the transmasc charlie hc! i think it's more of a projection thing for a lot of people, since i know at least a few of the main people who enjoy the headcanon are transfem themselves!! i don't think you have much to worry about in terms of people dismissing the tmasc or other genderqueer charlie hc anyways, since it's already much more popular! i think you're perhaps being a bit too critical.
I've literally never said anything like this at all, I think you've either misinterpreted something else I've said or have the wrong blog.
All of my Charlie gender-based posts or reblogs I've stated/tagged that I think any interpretation of Charlie's gender can make sense, be it transmasculine, transfeminine, nonbinary, agender, whatever you want.
I am one of the ~3 blogs that has access to The Bathroom Problem script and who posted and pointed out that you can make out/slightly hear the Joyce cuts in the episode itself. I would not have excitedly shared that for open-interpretation if I was "worried" people are "dismissing" transmasc Charlie headcanons. (Which, again, I've literally never said, but in any case, I believe it's valid for anyone to dismiss a headcanon they don't agree with, fandom is a sandbox.)
What I personally don't care for are genderbends and, almost by extension, analysis/meta on canon scenes that rename/re-gender the characters with no basis (or, one that comes off wrong). Both topics I've literally never publicly spoken out against here, nor have I said anything bad/negative to everyone who personally enjoys these things, so there is no way for me to possibly be "too critical" in that regard. I keep most of my opinions to myself and my close mutuals, almost exactly for what you're saying: I personally don't want to harsh or dismiss anyone's headcanons.
I have never said, and have never meant to imply, that anyone interpreting Charlie as transfem is attempting to dismiss anyone else's headcanon (which again would be a non issue to me anyway).

trick or treat <3
ahhhhh hi tauria!!!!! thank you for the trick or treat<3 🎃🎃🎃
so here's a small (very rough draft) lil drabble of a fem!jaytim idea i've had. its set in a weird timeframe, but basically jaye who's still on the outs with the bats teams up with tim (who has a massive crush on her) to take on the League of Assassins for some reason i have yet to come up with lmao
it's literally just called "tim & jaye take on the league" in my docs xD please enjoy<3
“Sorry, I’m about to be beheaded, can I call you back?” Jaye chirps into her comm, smiling up at the League assassins holding her down.
“What?! What do you mean you’re about to be beheaded?!” Barbara shouts, voice crackling with static.
“What do I mean?” She chokes out a laugh. “I said I’m being beheaded.”
The assassins gathered mumble and whisper to one another, motioning towards her. They seem pretty unconcerned over her kneeling in the dirt, unbothered by the fact that it might have been too easy to catch the Red Hood, one of the prodigies of Batman and Talia al Ghul.
“I-...what?” Barbara’s words stall out, and Jaye can feel the disbelief and shock radiate through her comm.
“Sorry about this,” She rolls her eyes and shrugs, as much as she can, being held down like this. “Work partners, what can you do?”
“No worries, we can wait,” Koru states, in his perfect League dialect.
“Much appreciated, Koru,” Jaye responds back in the dialect, perfect accent and all.
“Hood, be serious,” Barbara barks out.
“I am serious-!” She protests.
“Yeah, Hood is definitely about to be beheaded,” Tim cuts in over the merged comm line.
“Robin?! I-what are you doing with Hood?” Barbara screeches, her voice too high-pitched and crackling through the line.
“What’s it look like I’m doing?” Tim snarks.
“Can we not yell in my ear like a harpy? Oh hey, wait, actually, like a canary,” Jaye jokes, smothering the laughter in her throat.
“Hood!”
“Oh, Jesus Christ,” She mutters, rolling her eyes.
“Robin! Where are you? You’ve been missing since Thursday and-” Barbara asks.
“Uh, yeah. I left a note,” Tim answers.
“Timothy Jackson Drake!”
Tim squawks at Barbara’s words and her frustrated batmom? older sister? tone.
“I’m going to be beheaded with you two screaming in my ear aren’t I?” Jaye groans. “Koru, put me out of my misery.”
“Can do, Hood.” Koru doesn’t hesitate to agree, rolling his shoulders slowly and stepping forward. One of his squad members steps forwards, unwrapping his sword from the green and gold fabric hiding it.
“Oh my god, you two are worse than Cass and Steph,” Barbara groans over the comm line.
“Well, won’t be too much trouble for ya in about 15 seconds so,” She muses, watching as Koru prepares his sword and the other members get into position.
“Hood! Goddamnit-Robin, what’s the plan here? I’m practically blind.” The rapid clack-clack-clack of Barbara’s keyboard echoes over the comm line, a soothing candace compared to the sounds of the League hideout she’s been dragged to.
“We’re waiting,” Tim explains.
“You’re….You’re waiting? Waiting for what?”
“To see if they’ll actually go through with it.” Tim explains their plan like an eccentric scientist, captivated by the potential of his experiment but uninterested in the human squishy bits.
Her successor fascinates her. She kind of wants to let him dissect her, little freak that he is.
“Repeat that again for me.” Barbara’s voice goes stone-cold.
Jaye breathily laughs, watching Koru step directly in front of her with his sword, the silver metal gleaming in the high sun bearing down on them.
“We’re waiting to see if Koru actually attempts to behead Hood,” Tim repeats.
“Robin. Tim,” Barbara stresses his name. “Explain this plan to me, in full detail before they behead Jaye. Now.”
“Ohohoho, I think you activated big sister mode there baby bird,” She laughs, grinning up at Koru.
“I-...Koru won’t actually behead her. Talia’s orders. But it should bring out who were actually looking for.”
“And who are you looking for?”
Tim stays silent. Jaye observes the other league members settle into position, lips twitching with a smile at Tim’s reluctance to answer.
“Tim,” Barbara growls.
“Ra’s.”
“Ra’s? Ra’s al Ghul?!” Barbara screeches.
She winces at the volume, “Hey, hey, hey! I would not like to die--again--with you two arguing in my ear.”
“Now is not the time for jokes, Hood,” Barbara hisses. “Tim, why in god’s name are looking for Ra’s al Ghul?!”
“‘Cuz.”
“Timothy-"
