Operation Theatres and their Mechanism of Maintenance and Process

Every healthcare unit or a hospital has within itself a mandatory facility specially an aseptic environment where surgical activities, operations and other emergency actions which require a clean and sterile area are carried out. The main reason behind the maintenance of the temperature is because the doctor or the surgeon, along with his staff needs to wear multiple layers of clothing like the operating theatre dress and the apron and other clothing which obviously creates a higher body temperature leading to mild or moderate perspiration. This in turn leads to the formation of bacteria or other microbes that may interfere with the activity causing considerable contamination. Secondly uncomfortable environment and physical status of the surgeon also becomes a point of disturbance and lack of concentration and may become the root causes of errors and mistakes which at times may prove to be very critical. So in order to avert such instances, a proper air control and temperature control mechanism like air conditioners, air purifiers and so on has to be installed and maintained accordingly.

Current situation where I live in a “great” school district in the US of A in 2023:

School cannot hire bus drivers. No one will take the job. (Honestly GOOD FOR HER!) (Pay a living wage!)

Whenever a bus driver calls out sick, a busload of kids isn’t getting to/from school on time. I know someone whose kid’s school ended at 2:30 and they got home at 5, hours late. This kid is like 7.

School district hired a consulting firm to come up with ideas about out how to solve this problem. (Pay a living wage.)

Now they’re all “Here are our options. We can make half the schools start early so that the buses can make two trips.” (This option would put the bus arrival time before 6am for some kids.) “We could require all teaching assistants to obtain a commercial driving license before we will hire them.” (?!?!?!?) “We could allow people as young as 18 to drive the school bus.” “We could stop driving some kids (magnet schools and expanded walk zones) to school.”

Pay bus drivers a living wage.

There's been a whopping 1200% rise in antisemitic attacks in the US alone, and numbers are hitting record highs in many, many other countries in Europe as well.

Arab countries aren't an option; they persecuted and killed and expelled their Jews decades and centuries ago. The few that remain are subjected to the wrath of their neighbors on every whim.

All we have left is our homeland. We've been away for very, very long; oppressors have seen to that over the last two millennia.

But for the last 75 years we've finally regained a semblance of sovereignty, of independence. We work and develop and plant in a land we love with all our hearts, a land millions of us died hoping to return to. We finally have our fate in our own hands, and we can't give it up for the world. It's the only real future we have.

#i've seen 3 doctors about the same issue in the past couple of months #and i keep thinking about their different ways of responding and how much of an impact it's had on me #and my mental health and my way of responding to that issue #and i just have to say it's pretty ironic that the 'specialist' was the one who had the most unsatisfying response #and the young doctor who was on call at the hospital on fucking christmas eve was actually the most empathetic and helpful one #and was basically the first medical practitioner in my life who saw my issues as actual chronic pain #and didn't make me feel like i was overreacting and being weak and whiny #maybe she'd been trained on ableism idk but i'm very grateful to her for taking me seriously #and offering actual fucking solutions to at least deal with my anxiety #in other news i have a job interview on wednesday :) just a 2 month contract but at this point i'll take anything

hi I need everyone to know this because hospitals are fucking scams. I went to the ER in March because I thought I was dying and I didn’t even think to grab my wallet because again thought I was dying. the girl at the desk didn’t bother validating my insurance that was already in the system so billing ran my visit as “not insured”. fast forward to a few weeks ago I receive not one but two bills in the mail. the ER visit which is $5.117.60 and a bill that says solely “balance forward” and is $738.34. I called today to discuss the smaller bill and she said I received it because they ran it as not insured but since she could see they ran it through insurance she was removing that balance. great. amazing. why the fuck are people charged additional if they don’t have insurance? do you think someone who doesn’t have insurance and goes to the ER has any additional funds to pay that? I already have to jump through hoops to figure out how to pay $5,117.60. just bullshit. I hate hospitals. I hate the insurance my dad had at the time because they covered nothing. I’m angry and everyone is going to hear about it
