oikawa loves to watch you sleep.

it's nothing new. you've been living together for a little over a year now, his mornings begin with you sleeping by his side most of the time but, but oikawa doesn't look like he has moved on from the way you look when you're sleeping.

he thinks you look funny— ugly, maybe not ugly, but definitely funny. you look like such a mess, make weird faces, leave trails of incoherent words that wake him up in middle of the night. your limbs are all over the bed and most of the time, they're above him, as if he's your bed or something. you never wake up the way you go to sleep, always ending up on his side of the bed, pushing him to the edge while wrapping your arms around him as if you're holding him for falling down, like you're not the reason why he's in that position in the first place. you end up taking the whole comforter and it got to the point where oikawa suggested using two different comforters for the sake of both of you, but it didn't help either, since you would leave yours and slide into his every single night.

but he doesn't complain, not at all. he doesn't mind if you steal his comforter and he has to sleep without one every night. it's fine if he falls down from bed once a few days, or if he wakes up with a neck or back pain thanks to your habit of having your hands and legs all over him. oikawa doesn't have any complaints because he thinks it's a blessing to wake up every night and look at your beautiful face.

he thinks you're the prettiest while sleeping because you don't seem to care about the way you have to present yourself to people, even if it's just him and you in the room. you smile while sleeping, or frown, make some sort of angry face, etcetera etcetera; oikawa thinks it's adorable, because those are the moments when he realises he's in love with you.

"you could've woken me up," and sometimes, he's too busy falling in love with you, he doesn't realise you've woken up already.

"thought i'd let you sleep a little more," he speaks just above the comforting silence enveloping the two of you, trying to maintain the decorum, matching the intensity of his voice with yours while caressing your cheeks. "you're making me want to sleep again,"

"well, y—" he slips in next to you, making you shift involuntarily to make space for him. his hands are a little cold, sending bits of shivers down your spine as he wraps them around your waist, letting his fingertips trace random patterns on the bare skin under your sweatshirt. "i'd love to sleep more but, we need to make breakfast,"

"what's so good about breakfast at seven on a winter morning?" he whispers against the crook of your neck.

you chortle at the contact, "may be that it can help me with my hunger?"

"if we sleep, we won't be hungry anymore," oikawa pulls back, allowing his eyes to admire your face while you take your time presuming the words behind his love sick eyes. "can i tell you something?"

"go on,"

"i think i'm in love with you,"

your lips curl into a smile, "you tell me that every day," or more so, multiple times, every day. it's more of a remind so that you don't forget he loves you, and that he loves you more than anything else in this world, as if you're ever going to forget it.

"no i mean, i'm in love with you right now, at the moment, while we're lying next to each other; like, i'm falling in love with you right now and—" a pause, as if he's trying to build up suspense or create the atmosphere. it's simply an oikawa thing to do, he wants everything about you to be special. "— and, i don't think i can ever stop falling in love with you,"

it's magical how every single word that falls off his lips manages to flutter your heart. his smile never fails to fluster you even though you've been dating for three years now. oikawa has you going crazy and also keeps you sane. it's difficult, but you're somewhere in between. he has you head over heels for himself, making you fall for him every morning that you wake up. he's keeping you afloat but is also the reason why you're drowning. he is like a pool of contradictions in your life and you can't help it because every part of him makes you feel alive.

that is the effect oikawa has on you. so, you cup his cheeks, hoping that you have the same, if not more, effect on him as well. "i don't think i can ever stop falling in love with you either,"

i napped the entire day away and my dreams included, but were not limited to: big earthquake that, as it was happening, i was like "oh this is a bad one" and my stepdad went "its not that bad" - our house slid down a ravine into water / very vivid evening apocalypse that - after the blast hit and i died - swirled into sleep paralysis that occurred While I Was Dreaming (and i do mean swirled. i got whipped around like an inflatable tube man) / rich people sitcom where everyone was unbearable but i had my dear cat Letti with me / sound-based monster shaped like my mom that i kept from killing me via a funny joke (i didnt even get to finish my microwaved macaroni smh)

#it was dream after dream after dream #man that apocalypse one tho. slotting that one into one of my favorite death dreams it was so pretty and peaceful #everyone was just meandering to the beach but for some reason my legs were really weak and i couldnt walk #i tried! but i wound up just collapsing on the crosswalk. but a nice lady stopped and helped me up #and she helped me to the beach where everyone was gathering to watch the oncoming blast #oh man it was gorgeous. it was the only source of light so the ocean was glimmering with it and a low golden hue was cast over everything #no one was screaming or panicking! no one was scared. there were people on picnic blankets or just standing and watching #it was gorgeous and calming in a morbid sort of way. we were all in it together <3 #absolutely unprompted #a great break from the irritating other dreams! #the earthquake one was Incredibly realistic - foreshocks and accurate ground movement and everything! #house shook right off of its foundation #that sleep paralysis Within a dream one tho. fuck that one lmao #i woke up and was So confused for a second bc i couldve sworn i had already woken up #good to know even my subconscious is done with The Demons trying to get me #i love clawing my way tooth and nail out of sleep paralysis and not humoring The Paralysis Horrors #if i ever see my sleep paralysis demon im biting it so fucking hard. we have beef

Just a couple of random shots of my boys I took while testing mods. This is probably my new favorite nomad outfit of Goro's, along with his new tattoo. Also I made this tattoo with nomad Goro in mind, however seeing him with it out of nomad clothes, I am keeping it on him permanently for sure, and he may or may not have been influenced by Vaughn to get ink, since he's always admired Vaughn's tattoos. Especially the way Vaughn detailed every piece of art on his body like poetry. "It has meaning, they all do. Especially the one that says Goro in the middle." (pointing to the tat on his tummy). Which than prompted Goro to get Vaughn's name on his chest. After being together for 5 years, he didn't feel so weird about it anymore.

These were more recent photos I took. You can see Vaughn's name on his chest, and I thought it was a sweet placement, right near his heart. Vaughn has Goro's name tattooed more near his.. lower area, and did that as a little gag, cos he likes messing with Goro. But Goro actually found it endearing, Vaughn is goofy and silly, and that was one of the main things Goro fell in love with. The contrast in these photos is so crazy to me. Nomad Goro is more my canon, although I do enjoy putting him in all types of situations haha. (Zombie and Vampire AU my beloveds). This post was mainly just an excuse to show off multiple sets since I couldn't decide which to post, there's so many I have hidden and kept to myself, but I really love these photos. ~ ~ ~ ~ I've always wanted these two to have a fun and silly dynamic between them. They've both been through hell and back in their lives before they met each other, and even after they met they still went through the wringer. It brought them closer together, made them fall even harder, and Goro was very aware of Vaughn's out there personality, which was something he really really loved, as annoying as he is sometimes! I guess you can say Vaughn rubbed off on him, he def lightened up a ton in Vaughn's company. There's also so much I could talk about as far as Goro being a nomad goes, I'll talk about that separately another time. :) That version of him is very near and dear to me, so so so so important, and I'm glad I could give him that. So yeah! Anyways sorry for rambling, lol. I'm nuts about these two. ♥
