Literally just finished reading episodes 1 through 72 of school bus graveyard and it has now consumed my soul.

So, obviously I have to make an au based on my other current hyperfixation, Twisted wonderland.

My thoughts begin with the first years being the main characters. I feel as though Yuu would take on the Ashlynn/Leader role of the group. Which makes sense considering Yuu is the unofficial leader whenever it comes down to it in game.

Frankly, nobody fits the exact molds of the other characters but I’m trying to boil them down to their base archetypes I guess??? I think Jack gives me the same vibes as Ben. Minus the anger issues. Very large, very protective, very quiet.

I think Ace probably fits best with Aiden, I feel they’re both very impulsive and though Ace is less creepy, he still seems like the type to do dumb shit that could get him killed… more so than the rest.

That being said I feel Deuce would probably fit best as Tyler. Now this might be a bit out there, considering Deuce and Ben both have pasta that revolve around being violent and having anger issues, but I feel Deuce resonates more with Tyler, due to his desperate protectiveness of his sister and mother. I think Deuce would be very protective, but also jump the gun and tend to lash out more like Tyler does when he’s scared.

With only two slots left and 3 characters, things get a little more difficult. Sebek, Epel, and Ortho are all very unique characters, and it’s difficult to place them in Logan and Taylor’s positions. Ultimately I think Ortho would probably take on a role closer to Taylor’s, as she is part of the mechanics club and also has a very caring attitude that seems to bring everyone together. I think Ortho, who also has a complicated relationship with a sibling, would fit pretty well.

Epel absolutely doesn’t fit into the nerd archetype, so when I place him in Logan’s shoes it’s mostly because one, I can see him getting bullied for his appearance, and two, Similarly to Logan I think him being the ‘unexpected sharpshooter’ would be awesome. That is in no way saying he’s week, but it just klicks in my head.

Now that does leave Sebek alone, what no actual correlation. But I love him so I’m including him anyway. I think he’d take on a role similar to Tyler’s. He’s very vocal about what he’s thinking but he also cares deeply for people. He’d take on a more protective position in the group, he’s very large and very strong, so I think he’d take it upon himself to try and protect the others.

Anyway, thanks for getting this far in yet another random Au idea. My hyperfixations come and go pretty quick but It’s 5 am, and I had to get this out of my system. I want to write this au so bad but I already am working on a fic and I have to dedicate myself to that :’)

FUCK I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT BOOTHILL WITH HIS LITTLE GIRL

Boothill who would always take her on little horseback rides to calm her down when nothing else worked. Bundling her up nicely, holding her with one arm, while holding his horse reins with the other, and going slow while taking calming paths that he knew were safe for his little girl to calm down.

Boothill who would always be caught slacking off, taking a little nap in the sun with his daughter and when one of his siblings or dads would find him, he’d just say “well, my little girl wanted to take a nap, so that’s what we did.” Always using the baby as an excuse.

Boothill who is a damn pro at handling babies. He had to a lot with his siblings, always seeming to see the house grow bigger, and always seeming to have one more mouth to feed when he was growing up, not that anyone minded, or that it was a problem, Boothill’s family was always welcoming. So, when finding his little girl out in the middle of nowhere, bawling her eyes out- Boothill immediately knew what to do, and how to take care of her properly.

Boothill who would always coo at his daughter when she got sleepy. He took her most places with him, especially hanging around the house with her- and she always got so sleepy from all the excitement of Boothill’s family who’s just as rowdy as he is. Playing with Boothill’s younger siblings, since she was just so little- and Boothill always kept such a close eye on her, making sure she was okay, but sometimes she’d just fall asleep sitting up.

Boothill who would play his daughter songs on his guitar, watching her little hands try and copy him by just hitting the thing, before he’d scoop her up into his arms and pepper kisses all over her face, saying how she’s a master musician already! Now he doesn’t pick up a guitar anymore. Only thinking of her little hands playing the instrument by hitting the strings, and he can’t listen to the harmonious chords the same anymore.

Boothill who now thinks of his daughter everywhere he goes. Sees her cute little face in every kid he sees, wishing she could grow up like them, and live a damn good life that he would give her.

Boothill who made a makeshift memorial for his daughter in the form of a locket he was gonna give her when she was older, but now Boothill carries it around with him in his pocket. It doesn’t have anything in it, but it’s the memory of why he has it in the first place that matters.

Boothill also has a small piece of fabric that he carries with him. It was from her blankie that was always with her, but now it’s all tattered and half burned off… so he keeps it nicely tucked away from anyone who may even think of touching it, and ruining it.

Boothill who will sometimes buy child toys, more just… because he wishes he would give it to his daughter. Instead he ends up giving it to some random kid, or returning it cause he feels bad.

Boothill who still sings lullabies that would put his daughter right to sleep when she was being fussy, or quite stubborn for a baby. He doesn’t really sleep, but when he wishes he could, wishes he could fall asleep in the sun one more time with his daughter on his chest, he sings, or hums one of her favorite lullabies to at least relax himself.

Boothill who misses his daughter’s laugh, her smile, her little waddles when she was barely learning to walk before she passed, and he even misses her cries. He just misses her.

For people curious what I WANT to write, if i have time:

Hisui Horizon Event — (alternate version of Canon but flavored with my war crimes.)

Ingo is sent to Hisui with no name and no memories. He copes.

Without her anchor, Chandelure fades. (Elesa and Emmet, mourning the loss of their third, will not let her slip gently into the grave.)

Salvaging the Ship of Theseus — (definitely canon divergence because, well.)

Emmet and Eelektross fall into Hisui seventeen months after Ingo’s disappearance and a month before PLA.

May I introduce: Shitty merchant Emmet, who’s definitely not fluent in Hisui flavored Kantonese. One concerned Eelektross, who’s about to change the landscape of pokemon-human relations forever. Warden Ingo, who is attempting to retire wardenship to go looking at the rift bubbles. Lady Sneasler, who’s using Ingo as a babysitter for her three rascally sneaslets.

And a very angry Elesa, armed with an extra pissed Chandelure, as they hunt down Sinnohian legends to get their favorite muppets back.

(HERE’S A DRABBLE. I have a lot of thoughts for Salvaging the Ship of Theseus. So many thoughts. Help. HELP.)

Figures that my first fanart from Twisted Wonderland would be Idia.

There were so many new experiences involved in drawing Idia here.

For starters, he has been sitting in my drafts for almost 4 months as an abandoned pose practice. Taking a break from the pressure of drawing reference sheets, I decided to finally do something with that.

Rendering Idia and his background was probably the weirdest experience of my life. The amount of accidents that ended up looking so good was truly astonishing. Overall, it was a lot of fun an I learned so much! I’m not going to say I broke through my Art block just yet, but I am optimistic!

Anyway! I hope you all enjoy and I would love to see and Idia headcanons you have!
