Recent commission I did for @adony-eets-bugzz of their guinea pig, Chobonnie.

This is the first commission I've been able to do in almost a year or more, so it was really a delight to work on!! Especially as it was not only different from what I normally draw, but it felt good to work on a very sentimental piece for someone.

Always a great day when both you and the commissioner are real happy with a piece.

#its HOT today so of course for my break i decided to sit outside in direct sunlight #5 minutes in i can feel it seeping into my bones in a bad way #i think its funny that all my life i’d spend sunrise to sunset swimming or playing outside #and i’d be *exhausted* and my mom just figured its cause i was so active #now we know !! #ive also gotten significantly more sensitive?? to it #like when i was little i could spend hours outside and just need to sleep alot the next day #now i notice the yuck seeping in within the first hour #its nothing horrible i just get achy and exhausted so its manageable #its usually in the middle of summer where it sucks cause im outside everyday so i never get recovery time #but i always just push through it cause i like being outside #so i push through it til i physically cant <3 and then i need like 3 days to recover #but thats only towards the end of summer #i also always get a lot of symptoms in summer that i dont usually get the rest of the year #and i think its cause it so suddenly trigger flare ups #idk #my thighs and shoulders are always the first to feel it when ive been outside too long #and then i start to get a headache #if i go inside when the headache hits i can prevent everything else #buuut <3 i never listen to my body <333 #u guys dont need to know any of this #if youre still reading ilyyy kiss kiss mwa mwa

I'm not even upset that Brambleclaw is being awful. I love reading about his fall from grace. He was a respectable warrior against all odds, until he let his fears about never being accepted get mixed up with his pride and turn into some sort of superiority complex that Hawkfrost is purposefully feeding and manipulating. It's fascinating.

(I do wish this arc didn't end with him getting rewarded though.)

At work my coworkers were talking abt their "types" as far as dating goes and my manager was like "Lindsey if I had to guess your type I'd guess a guy with long hair, tattoos, and piercings." And yknow. I told him as vaguely as I could that I don't have a type bc I don't like anyone.

But theres a difference between "hot" and "pretty" and I do occasionally find ppl to be pretty. And I think it is kind of funny that despite the fact he was wrong in terms of a 'type' as he meant it (relating to sexual/romantic attraction), in terms of ppl I personally would rank as pretty, he nailed it.
