Locke is not anyones name as far as I knoooww but! My other name Connor I got from my own oc, someone asked me for my name one time and I thought they wanted my oc's name so I told them that, NEVER corrected them and it stuck (It's been seven yrs since then, I don't even talk to that person anymore)

2. When was the last time you cried?

Yesterday! I relistened to episode 61 of season 1 of dungeons and daddies

3. Do you have kids?

Nope, I have baby cousins but I don't really want my own

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

I used to love hockey and netball but my teachers never let me on any teams bc I suck at sports

Very frequently but I'm also autistic so will almost always indicate if it is or not!

I'm sorry, but what kind of accent does Ivan have? He's the only sim who speaks that way and now that he's more in focus, I can't help but wonder where he comes from! Also, while I'm at it, I've also noticed that you stay loyal to the Sim world ("speaking in Tartosan" "a Tartosan goddess", etc), and while it's obvious that Tartosa was based on Italy and Spain, do you imagine your characters being from real countries and with distinct cultural backgrounds?

hmmm idk that he really has an accent as such, it's more that he speaks more loosely/common than every one else. i don't really have voice claims or any real countries to pin these pixels to cos they're sims u kno, it'd probs get messy if i started tying things to irl and not others.. so nah, other than rough stuff like vaguely japanese for mt. komo or italy for tartosa i don't pin em to real places ig you could use my northern english accent as an example tho, like my mom is pretty well spoken but still northern right? so she pronounces her t's n shit but my accent is way more common and i drop all mine to a ridiculous extent (if i was to write butter or water the way i'd say it it's practically unreadable lol.. like bu'uer? bUHer?? idk lmao) so Ivan probs speaks like me tbh.. Animal: i always waver between a dog and a cat with her – she's got the teeth and claws of a cat, the propensity for sleeping in and laying around in random bits of sunlight, and her mouth has a bit of that catlike :3 curve, but she is also extremely full of love in a way that radiates out from her much like a dog enthusiastically wagging its tail around exciting new people. either way tho – house pets that will love you deeply and also grievously wound someone who tries to harm you.

Colors: gold + vibrant blues and greens

Month: september?? i will be honest, i hadn’t had a month association before 

Songs: make the grade - jack conte, i won't hurt you - the west coast pop art experimental band, my dog’s eyes - zammuto, existential crisis hour - kilo kish, birdsong - regina spektor.

Number: 1 because she always feels lonely maybe, haha

Plants: asphodel – and I always think of strawberry blossoms when I think about what flower would best fit her, even though she is Very Allergic To Strawberries. sorry babe, but the imagery of the humble little strawberry flower is just too fitting.

Scents: ash, sulfur, whatever the hell bat guano smells like bc of all her spell components – but also something pleasantly warm and earthy, like rocks in a hot spring

Gemstone: i feel like i’ve got to go with amethyst bc. purble. 

Time of day: late late late at night, creeping into the very early morning, when the world is quiet and you can’t help but hear your thoughts (or your worries) clearer than ever before 

Season: autumn – the warm colors and dry crackle of shed leaves for her well, and even more so because she’s recently accepted the patronage of equinox, an autumn eladrin-flavored archfey

Places: caves with bioluminescent plants/fungi, places with strange and magical flora like the feywild, but also busy, crowded city streets where it's easy to get lost in the noise 

Food:  stew! and traveling rations like hardtack or jerky or dry, aged cheeses – things that would keep for a long time on the road. she’s an obligate carnivore, but she does try to pad her diet with as much non-meat as she can.

Drinks: really shit ale that you can buy in bulk at the local tavern as you daydrink with your adventuring party and discuss what steps to take next to fulfill your quest as you also take turns sneakily refilling your friend’s mug so that he remains convinced that it’s magically self-sustaining. (and also, a shitload of water. to wash down the dry ass jerky and hardtack.)

Element: fire

Seasonings: cinnamon and clove! also maybe saffron because she spent so much of her life traveling with trading caravans and saffron seems like the kind of coveted shit that would justify long-ass journeys by guarded caravan.

Sky: night, somewhere in the wilderness where it's so dark that the stars fill the sky everywhere you look

Weather:  hot, dry, windless summer days – if faerûn had wildfire watch levels, it would be stuck on extreme 

Magical power: fireball babyyyyyy (+ a dash of hellish rebuke)

Weapons: daggers. and more daggers, hidden in various places on her body. and teeth. so many sharp teeth. 

Candy/Sweets: honey candy, soft caramels – and pop rocks. she would be delighted by pop rocks.

Method of long distance travel: walking. just… long slogs on foot. walking across distances that are truly miserable to traverse – the sort where you’re ready to give up halfway through but can’t, because turning back would take as long as soldiering on, so you soldier on anyway? that. 

Artstyle: my memory of art styles has not really been brushed up on since my middle school days, i admit, but i think i lean towards impressionism for her

Fear: being useless, being alone, being Known; and, of course, the combination of those fears combined – having someone get close enough to her that it feels like they really know her and see her for who she is and then reject her as not being worth their time. 

Mythological creature: fairies/fae! they're beautiful, terrible, awful little winged shitheads and she adores them. and, to a lesser degree, unicorns, lmao. an association with and an assumption of goodness while also being fully willing and capable of skewering someone.

2. Can they take care of a plant? What about a pet? What about a child?

azug would be hopeless with a plant, she’s not home/in one place nearly enough to maintain one. she could probably take care of a dog or cat but anything other than that would require too much specialized care for her. for a child… she could be a good parent, but again she’s not at a point in her life where she spends much time at home. if she did have a child, it would probably be an orphan she adopted, and sadly they may suffer from her not being home much — she would make sure people checked on the child and, with how shitty being an orphan in skyrim is, they would at least have a fairly nice home to live in, but she wouldn’t be very present for at least a few years

megana is the most responsible irresponsible person you’ve ever met. she can and does take care of plants (mostly alchemical ingredients she grows herself) and a pet (her rabbit, thistle). as for a child… hypothetically, she could take care of one, if she had to babysit or was otherwise saddled with one for a while, but she doesn’t have much interest in having her own. she’s more like the fun gay wizard aunt. except she’s an only child and has no close friends with children. yknow?

never trust antony with anything alive. he likes dogs and has had a couple in his life, but uh…… i just wouldn’t trust him with it

azug doesn’t consider anything a waste of time. if you told her that bird in that tree was stuck she’d be up there in a heartbeat to save it. not because shes super empathetic for the bird or because she’s naive enough to believe it’s stuck, she just loves procrastinating and avoiding her responsibilities. something to distract her for a minute? great! sign her up!

megana considers many things a waste of time but *what* specifically depends on when you ask her, what she’s doing that day, and what her current biggest interest is. shes spent the last week and a half trying to create a new spell? get out of her face with your “vampire problem in the cave outside town,” wdym, she’s Busy

My Rise! Venus and Jennika

The girlies<333 @roninreverie is the origin of the big brain idea of Venus getting adopted by Grandpa Sho and Jennika Big Mama's Assistant and the mystic abilities

I chose Kemp Ridley turtle for Venus because I liked how similar its color scheme was to idw Venus, I didn't realize until looking at roninreverie's Venus that she was the same turtle species so I tried making Jennika a different one by making a list of semi-aquatic turtles (to reference how the fandom like to make BM's assistant a slider like Leo) then narrowing that list down to 7(because I had 7 sea turtles to choose from for Venus) then using a random name picker to narrow it down to 3 and chose from there

And then

I ended up choosing a painted turtle.

While she grew up knowing Hamato traditions and Hamato ninpō, she stopped practicing when Grandpa Sho passed away out of fear she wouldn't/would contact his spirit and that's when she went on a warrior's pilgrimage to China

Hence why she was unaware of her brother's and Splinter's existence and Shredder's defeat

Her existence was a big driving force for Big Mama's redemption arc like how Mikey was for Draxum and Kimie for Sho(although I don't think he really needed one)

She thinks of Splinter more as her mom's ex(?) Boyfriend than her dad. And the less said about Draxum the better, her and Leo have roast sessions about him

Like a cat in how she bonds with her family, very private and not very social but she enjoys simply spending time in their presence with no interaction

While Kimie makes Plautilla her middle name like how the boys have their colors/Japanese names as middle names Míng Huì views Artemisia as her nickname rather than a new name hence the quotations

Speaking of their artist's names; they picked them out as a sort of bonding activity with the boys+April, to get them closer as siblings.

Plautilla's favorite nephew is Eijirou as they both rock tessen and are heavy hitters, tanks and gentle souls; while Artemisia doesn't actually really have a favorite and likes her nieces and nephews equally, although she spends the most time with Sandro and Elise because they spend the most time with Big Mama out of the next gen kids and she has the most things in common with those two.

MINAH — she's like... medium affectionate? she doesn't avoid affection but she also doesn't seek it out. she's mostly a physical touch + acts of service gal, but she doesn't go in for a lot of physical touch these days. you want to get on her good side, gifts are also very big for her (receiving more than giving, unless you count the acts of service as the gift-giving) VESPER — incredibly affectionate but it takes her a long time to work up to displaying it openly. quality time and acts of service are her big ones, though she also very much enjoys physical touch with the right like, four people.

10. Favorite place? Do they go there often?

MINAH — these days she really doesn't have one; she travels too much for it. as a kid she had a hideaway (maybe outside of town? maybe just out of the house?) where she could sit under a big tree and hang out, sometimes alone and sometimes with friends. obviously she doesn't go there anymore. VESPER — there are a couple places she's visited in her travels where she wouldn't mind lingering—the emerald graves, some parts of crestwood, unexpectedly beautiful parts of the world hidden away from the violence and the war. in skyhold, she tends to retreat to the ramparts when she needs a little space. it's nice to look at the sky and remember to breathe; she doesn't feel quite so hemmed in when she's up high

14. Choose an AU you think would be interesting for them to be a part of. Who would they be?

MINAH — this is tricky to get into without spoilers. I think in a better world she'd be a lot of fun to drop in a dance au. in a worse world, hunger games 100%. all that pageantry, all that death :) VESPER — I love love love an apostate au vesper. I'd drop her in kirkwall post-DA2 Act 3, just smack in the middle of that nightmare. I think it would be fun. I also think she should befriend hawke and co.

15. Are they the type to adopt strays (animals or people?) What or who have they “adopted” over the years?

MINAH — minah is the kind of person who would swear up down and sideways she doesn't want a pet and she's not adopting anyone and she can't be bothered to look after anything longterm and then would end up with a stray anyway and get really protective about them. rhydian better watch out VESPER — she's definitely adopted a couple apprentices in her time—she remembers being young and scared and lonely and she's got a big heart and a desire to help. inquisition kinda limits her bandwidth, but she's still taking people under her wing—cole's the most obvious example, but there are definitely others out there who might be surprised to find enchanter trevelyan looking out for them (ellana I'm looking at u)

20. How many friends do they have?

MINAH — really depends on how you define friend to be honest. on the one hand, so many! alternately, none. she's definitely friendly with a wide spread of folk, and she'll call people friend even when they maybe aren't really. this isn't really an answer but it's the one she'd give so #onbrand VESPER — well she's got the inner circle who are obviously ride or die for her. among them she's got a few she's besties with (bull, dorian, solas, varric) and a few who are more like treasured coworkers. then there are a few people outside the circle she's close to (krem, scout harding, a couple misc NPCs). and there were a couple friends she had in the Circle too (tho I guess she might not know if they're alive or not. yikes). low double digits I guess? 20ish?

Alyra takes it rationally. She's the perfect patient until she recognises she is sick or wounded. No point in dragging yourself up and about if your brain can't think straight from a fever and you're just there shivering, just to hinder the others. She stay put and rest until she's better and functional again. She won't be happy about it and will act grumpily for the inconvenience and the loss of time being sick nonetheless. Back in the clan it was Merrill keeping her company and chatting away not to make her feel alone. During the Blight it's Morrigan. She has... A rocky relationship with Wynne, will trust her greatly as a healer and her help is welcomed. But at the first note of a big speech over morality or what she should do, she will groan and fake to be very tired and wanting to sleep just to avoid it. Morrigan has her hedge ways to heal and is nice company to have around if you're grumpy.

Raina:

🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?

In people what she notices and likes most is personal coherence and how one stands up for what they believe in. She fell head over heels for Merril in Sundermount, when she confronted the Keeper and stood her ground even if it meant losing her family (which is something that would destroy Raina). Even in the little things: if you go around saying that you believe in kindness, she will notice and appreciate you stopping to pet a stray dog or give him a treat. As for things... She likes flowers growing in the most unlikely places. Dandelions sprouting from a crevice in a wall in Lowtown, she will always, always stop to blow the white puffy ones away. Pots with flowers in Darktown that are just there, apparently abandoned. Weeds creeping in in an unkept garden, or holly growing over an old oak. She's butch and will act thought and uncaring, she's the hugest softie inside.

Home is the nook in the library with Dorian, both sitting on the ground with books and papers scattered around and Aisling crawling in to hug him just because he's owed many, many hugs, and him letting her do it. Home is slipping in Cullen's office when she's the one that really needs a hug, or waiting to be the last ones in the War Room just to steal a couple of minutes with him and feel loved. Home is Skyhold because there are many people she loves, there, and the fortress likes her. Home will be the farm after Trespasser, because she and Cullen renewed it with love and put hopes and emotion into it. And they could do it again if the building burned down, because Home is what they make, not anything material. Home has been animals, and spending time with them. There's something extremely soothing, to her, about gaining an animal's trust, that always makes you feel at home. Sure, you can approach domestic animals by offering them food and pet an halla if you bring them an apple! But there's a big difference between an animal approaching you for a treat and one that gives you their friendship and trust. That trust is home, what never fails to bring her joy in a rainy day and make her feel at peace with the world. An animal who trusts you doesn't have any second meanings, they just learnt to take joy in your company... and you can't be that bad of a person if a skittish horse allows you to curl up against his side and take a nap without kicking you in your head, right?

Appearance: Taleb is a tall young male with caramel skin and semi visible muscles. He has thick, yet silky, black hair with hints of blue and yellow at the tips and roots which he states is unusual for his kind. His eyes are a bright orange with a hint of red around his pupils. His hair is usually in a braid(During class) or a ponytail(Outside of class), with star clips that Kalim gave him a long time ago. As a ponytail he uses the hairband Jamil lended him when they were kids and has kept with him ever since then. Due to being a tiger beastman he has tiger ears instead of human ears but they're black with white stripes, alongside his tail.

Dorm Uniform: Taleb wears the standard Scarabia Uniform, but he's usually wearing black/red eye shadow given to him by Rook. His uniform consists of a black and red sleeveless jacket, an undershirt, a yellow belt, black parachute pants and black sneaker-sandals. HIs uniform comes with several gold accessories that he tends to not wear. He has stickers on his sneaker-sandals, the stickers given to him by his siblings.

The sleeveless jacket is cropped, and reaches the mid-torso. The jacket has a red underlining, wavy gold stripes on the sides, gold trim, and a red sailor-like collar with a black, wavy stripe along the sides. Connecting both sides of the jacket is one gold chain. Under the jacket is a black sleeveless hoodie with red underlining, gold hoodie strings with tassels at the ends, and a gold, wavy stripe along the top of the hood. Taleb has his hood half up during his time in the dorm, stating that sometimes its hard to keep it like that.

Taleb wears his yellow belt like a scarf with the ends going down his back to his waist. The belt has a silver buckle, and along with black stripes, has the word --Scarabia-- repeatedly printed on it. On both ends of the belt are small designs resembling a snake’s head and tail.

His black parachute pants have a red fire design near the bottom. Hanging over the pants on both hips are maroon pieces of fabric with an intricate gold design. The black sneaker-sandals have gold plating near the toe, and a large golden scarab in the center.

The uniform includes a few golden accessories, including a collar necklace, a bracelet, and a shoulder cuff worn on the right shoulder, shaped like a snake.

Personality: Taleb is often commented to be closed off and rude towards others, but in reality he's not good at talking to people and secretly worries if they'll like him. He's lazy at times which is more often than not the reason why he disappears, with the other reason being that he loves to wonder and go wherever his feet takes him. He does have a more aggressive side, but it only appears when those he cares about is in danger or being treated wrongly.

He has a sense of justice, believing in innocent until proven guilty, and is willing to give the guilty party a second chance to redeem themselves and make up for their mistakes. He gets mad when others lie to him, finding it a meaningless thing to do, thus causing him to blow a fuse and snap at the liar instantly. He's fond of those who tell the truth, finding them to be reliable people and allies.

He's not good with those younger than him who are not his siblings, feeling awkward, afraid to be near them, or amused whenever he's with a younger student or someone else's kid, but nonetheless he is good with kids and able to calm them if anything happens. He's kind to the younger students and is willing to help out even if he's busy with them.

Backstory: Taleb was nearly stillborn due to birthing complications but the Al-Asim family got the best healer(Thea Vanrouge) to come and help. His mother passed after giving birth to his youngest sibling but felt no resentment to the newborn child, instead helping his father care for them. He grew up with Kalim and Jamil for about four to seven years before his family decided to leave. He's given gifts by his two friends before he leaves, traveling across the sands with his family and learning how to survive in the vast sandy land.

He learned from his father on how to burrow into the sand and hide even though it'd be a bit difficult for him to hide his white stripes. His father called him a natural survivor despite not looking like other tiger beastmen and comments that he was proud of how his son would grow up.

Taleb would also take his siblings sand sledding, finding the biggest dune or pile of sand and sliding down it on whatever they could find.

Signiture Spell: Taleb's spell is called "Truth or Lie." It allows him to see inside someones soul and see if they're more honest or more dishonest, those who are more Honest are given the option to have one wish that grants them anything except for another wish, love, or to bring back the dead. Those who are more Dishonest turns into sand for an hour. He is unable to properly use it on those with a balanced soul.
