I don't know... Flareon, maybe? Fire sweeps a lot of things. But Umbreon is a friendship evolution, and a good hitter, and Sylveon has a pretty diverse movepool. Based on my movepool, I'd say Umbreon, though.

Inspired by Cyanotype print.

Edited in photoshop - printed and drawn over with gold.

Last week I created a Cyanotype which did not come out as i had hoped, however i decided to draw over it in gold. This week i took a head shot of myself and converted it to monochrome in photoshop. The outcome looked very similar to the cyanoptype and i proceeded to draw over the print-outs once again. Despite not being cyanotype I am really enjoying the contrast of warm gold and cold blue. Complimenting eachother in quite a dramatic way. 

I wanted to continue to explore the concept of ophelia, being submerged and previously have been investigating it as almost an action, I had been looking a lot at it from an overhead point of view and now wanted to explore the idea from underneath. Uner the water. Submerged. (past tense). Feeling lost in something, lost in nature and lost in oneself. In the phototgraphs i took ealier where i was experimenting with recreating a phottoshop i did some weeks ago where i merged Ophelia from Millais painting with a modern day photograph of rubbish. I crossed out my eyes. It takes a away a certain identity i feel. Makes it more universal. I find the absence of the eyes helps me to detach myself from the work and see it as a whole. As a message, a story, an emotion. It is ironic as the eyes are the window to the soul, but it remains relevant to my project as the irony continues in the form of being/feeling blind to the world/suffering and even the beuaty around us. 

With withered vines in her mouth and her hair helps set both an atmosphere and a setting for an underwater world. Reeds.
