What is the difference between Jason Walsh and Mike McCluskey shows like unusuals and mayor of Kingstown.
wow - those two shows are quite an interesting 'compare and contrast'. obviously the unusuals falls into the quirky/light/comedy end of one hour tv drama whereas mayor of kingstown is so bleak and violent that i still haven't made my way to the end of series two.
but mike and jason as individuals both have a snarky sarcasm. both live alone in random places. they both play the system to an extent to get what they want. however jason is more about a bit of tactical misinformation whereas mike..... well.... mike is a law unto himself.
but who knows how far jason would go if pushed? we never got to find out what he was being investigated for!!
they both wear a suit pretty well and chill out in a plaid shirt. jason seems to have more winning charm, and seemed to end up shirtless more often than mike did if i recall...
my personal preference lies firmly with the unusuals (sorry mike, please don't come and beat the shit out of me!)
Does Pedro call up the likes of Backgrid who are paid paparazzi and used for PR/publicity etc.? I see people complaining about paps but I know that Backgrid etc. are definitely paid paparazzi and they do PR paps
Does Pedro Pascal call up paparazzi?
Does Pedro dress like he's called anyone?!
People are complaining that Pedro is pictured at the gym too regularly. Many celebs are photographed regularly, but the images aren't released illegally by "fans" looking for likes, so it often feels as if Pedro can't move but for being photographed without his consent.
I'm sure there could be times when his team might think he needs to remind the public of his existence, like in pics posted by JustJared.com, but on the whole these paparazzi just know what they're doing. Every celeb needs publicity. However, I think the paparazzi at the gym, for instance, are efficient at their jobs. Many celebrities use that gym so sitting outside with your camera ready is an easy pay day.
The gym Pedro uses is owned and run by his friend Jason Walsh, whom he met shooting The Great Wall. That gym is used by studios to prepare actors for roles. Membership can cost $35k a year, so the clientèle are often people the paps are interested in. Rise Movement count Minka Kelly, Brie Larson, Jessica Biel, Chrissy Teigen, Hilary Duff, Jaimie Alexander, Matt Damon, Emma Stone, Jake Gyllenhal, Liam Hemsworth and more among their celebrity clients.
Got this one finished finally! Latest installment of our epic, Complicated.
A Murder for Christmas - Crime never takes a holiday, which means the NYPD doesn't get to sleep either. Jason and Casey catch a homicide on Christmas . . . among other issues the holidays bring.
I’m full of sin
No room for you to get in
My fists, like bricks
Break down the walls I’m stuck in
Silver and gold
Won’t save my rotting soul
Just break me down
Can’t bear the weight
Can’t bear the crown
It pulls me underground
I need a head I can hold up
I need the nickel and iron
To outweigh desire
By pulling me down, pulling me down
Burn me to the ground
Burn me to the ground
Burn me to the ground
Wait till it’s safe
For you to show your face
The air, so thick
You’ll have to chew and spit it out
I was full of hope
On the downward slope
Trying to cope with no chance of breaking out
You were in the know
Never told a soul
You bear the weight
You bear the crown
I need a head I can hold up
I need the nickel and iron
To outweigh desire
By pulling me down, pulling me down
Burn me to the ground
Burn me to the ground
Silver and gold
Won’t save my rotting soul
Silver and gold
Won’t save my rotting soul
Silver and gold
Won’t save my rotting soul
Silver and gold
Won’t save my rotting soul
I need a head I can hold up
I need the nickel and iron
To outweigh desire
By pulling me down, pulling me down
Burn me to the ground
Burn me to the ground
I need a head I can hold up
I need the nickel and iron
To outweigh desire
By pulling me down, pulling me down
Burn me to the ground
Burn me to the ground
Instead of celebrating the rising influence of women’s basketball, right-wing media seized on the highly anticipated draft to attack the WNBA and dismiss the low wages of some of basketball’s biggest stars.
After a historic women’s NCAA tournament, the Women’s National Basketball Association draft drew substantial media attention both praising the rising influence of the league and criticizing the low wages of the league’s stars. Right-wing media chose to denigrate the sport and its players rather than engage with critiques of how women athletes are treated.
With the WNBA's popularity surging due to several college megastars such as Caitlin Clark being drafted, right-wing media launched unhinged sexist attacks against the league (and women's sports in general). These same people attacking the WNBA and women's sports launch attacks against trans women participating in women's sports under the purported guise of "saving women's sports."

Moodboards for Complicated - At the height of the Cold War, when tensions between East and West reached their zenith, a secret branch of the military made a fateful decision. They developed a new project, a project named after the lead geneticist Dr. Frank Cahill. ‘Project Cahill’ would attempt to duplicate the Army’s original ‘Captain America’ program by designing an Alpha Team of enhanced soldiers. From this program came five special brothers – destined to have a greater impact on the world than their creators could have ever expected. Join us for the story of their lives and loves – how they overcome their beginnings to forge their own futures in an ever-changing world.
