Mufasa: The Lion King Teaser Trailer

Rafiki, with some commentary by Timon and Pumbaa, tells the story of Mufasa to Simba and Nala's cub Kiara. "Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny—their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe." Mufasa: The Lion King stars the voice talents of Aaron Pierre (Mufasa), Kelvin Harrison Jr. (Taka), Tiffany Boone (Sarabi), Kagiso Lediga (Young Rafiki), Preston Nyman (Zazu), Mads Mikkelsen (Kiros), Thandiwe Newton (Eshe), Lennie James (Obasi), Anika Noni Rose (Afia), Keith David (Masego), John Kani (Rafiki), Seth Rogan (Pumbaa), Billy Eichner (Timon), Donald Glover (Simba), Blue Ivy Carter (Kiara), Beyoncé Knowles-Carter (Nala), Braelyn Rankins, Theo Somolu, Folake Olowofoyeku, Joanna Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Sheila Atim, Abdul Salis, and Dominique Jennings. Barry Jenkins is directing. The film's songs will be written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and produced by Mark Mancina and Miranda, with additional music and performances by Lebo M.

Mufasa: The Lion King releases to theaters on December 20, 2024.

Killian Jones Mothers

1 - The Birth Mother: Alice Smith-Jones (Pretend those eyes are blue)

She was very young when she had Liam and Killian (they're 5 years apart)

she loved both her boys but she was definitely closer to Killian than Liam

She started to fall out of love with Brennan and wanted to run away with her old childhood sweetheart

Her boys inherited her blue eyes

She had some trouble with her parents (especially her father) and wanted revenge

She died shortly after Brennan found out that she cheated on him, of 'unknown causes'

She is a people pleaser, but will speak her mind if she needs to

She can read people easily

She used to sing to the boys (especially Killian) when they couldn't sleep because of the storms

2 - The Step-Mama: Joanna Jones (Pretend her eyes are blue)

She was a maid for a wealthy family

She found Brennan passed out by the castle gates

She nursed him back to health and then fell in love with him, she gave him True Loves Kiss and he woke up

They had a son not long after that

She knew of Brennan's past family, but only that he blamed himself for losing them, she helped him heal over it

When Liam 2.0 was five, she died of 'unknown causes'

Six-Time Tony Winner Audra McDonald, reigning Queen of Broadway

In honor of the Tony nomination announcement today, it's about time I published this post I've had waiting for almost two months now. With 64 Divas in our tournament, they're practically drowning in Tonys. Collectively, 53 Divas have received one or more nominations across four eligible acting categories, and 31 have taken home the prize. And you'll never believe what tumblr's image limit is. 30.

As luck would have it, two Divas won Tonys in the same year and despite what might be the most dramatic height difference possible, Bebe Neuwirth and Janet McTeer were photographed together specifically so I could make this post work 27 years later. (Bebe in heels and Janet in flats, and still...)

We've never had a party here

I wanted to give Edith a chance to socialize with her many friends before my time with her was out. I chose the Java Hut because there's a late night stage downstairs and I've never hosted a party here before. Oop! Looks like a local teenager has passed out!

On a side note, ever since sending Cristina on vacation with Brianna, she no longer appears on the list to invite to parties...scratching my head on this one...My sims can call her alone, but if I select the throw party option she never shows up! And she is best friends with a LOT of sims, including Edith so I had to manually invite her to the party once it started...so weird and praying it isn't anything game breaking!

Sharon spent a good part of the party staring out of windows again, LOL!

Bahahahaha! Oh dear! Looks like Edith was literally bored to sleep! I wonder who the unlucky sim she was talking to was, LOL!

That didn't stop everyone else from having a good time though! Including Joanna who was playing piano with an invisible destroyed dish stuck in her hand...another glitch I've been having lately across saves...hmm...

Another baby born!

While the party came to a close, I hopped over to check on Kip. He's in the background destroying a plant. I couldn't help a cute picture of little Jerrod Thigpen!
