Cause I'll be writing and then blink back into existence and realize....wait...what do you mean I'm not two gay men making out under the moonlight??

Then I'll have to take a couple of seconds to collect myself cause I just imagined and wrote in such detail about living a life with another man and I need to mourn over the loss of that.

Assorted random Jay and Jonjay HCs + surprise brief summary of my JonJayDami AU:

-Jay is one of those people it's teeth grittingly infuriating to go shopping with because not one damn thing looks bad on him. Jon's favorite activity is digging through the most garish shit he can find, coming back with the most hideous monstrosity of a garment you have ever laid eyes on, and watching Jay put it on and somehow??? It looks good??? It doesn't even clash with his hair??? Jon thinks it's hilarious and he's very glad not to be the supermodel in this relationship. It's all fun and games until word of it somehow reaches Starfire so now Jay has been roped into actually doing a modeling campaign with her that works to raise awareness of various and sundry things major politicians would rather nobody talk about. Jon is content to sit on the sidelines and bring his boyfriend coffee but Jay drags him into appearing in a few of the photoshoots.

-it catches on very quickly that if you use Kryptonite to take the second Superman down Gossamer will show up halfway through your victory speech, sometimes with Robin or Supernova or, on one absolutely horrifying occasion, Lois Lane, and he will quickly and efficiently put you in the ICU. Everyone thinks Superman is Gossamer's scary dog privilege until they actually manage to take him down and enjoy their victory for half a second before they lose an eye.

-similarly, if you actually manage to catch Gossamer (how the fuck), you will have the world's angriest Kryptonian on your hands. Unlike the old one, if you break out the Kryptonite to take away his powers, this one pulls a knife and shanks you (Jon getting his powers taken away and immediately resorting to everything he's learned via being friends with Damian is everything to me).

-any Supertruth coffee shop AU must feature Jay mainlining espresso like he's trying to meet God and Jon the barista eventually tracking him down after work because he has serious concerns about Jay's health.

-I'd sell a kidney to see a Mircaulous Ladybug AU featuring these two I think that shit would be hilarious.

-I may or may not actually end up writing a fic where, immediately post liberation, Gamorra holds an election and someone adds 'crown Jay Nakamura king and call it a day' as a joke but it wins and now everyone has to live with it. Definitely crack treated seriously, but I think it'd be a fun situation to throw everyone into.

-I am writing a fic with a WIP title of 'the timeline has been taken out back and shot' featuring, among other things, Jon who hasn't been to school since fifth grade taking one look at college and saying 'fuck this I'm gonna be a stripper', Damian who is also nineteen and wondering if it's normal to be this utterly exhausted as his family's general bullshit leaves him stepping up to the Brucie Wayne plate, and Jay who thanks to Luthor’s latest real estate scheme is left unable to afford an apartment anywhere outside Gotham. Still in the outline stages so far but Jay will not stop trying to bite Rogues when they blow shit up on his way to work, Damian has not slept more than two hours a night for a week, and Jon keeps getting body glitter on everything he owns.

A jonjaydami headcanon.

The choas that would be released if and when Damians brothers find out he's dating another hero and the shovel talk that would soon be after. The thing is they already have Jonathan a shovel talk cause they had always kinda assumed they'd end up together but when they didn't they were not only shocked but super angry.

But of course they leave it alone cause they don't want to damage their little brothers friendships cause they know he doesn't have many but they notice slowly how much Jonathan and Jay start coming over.

Maybe once every other week becomes every week and then almost every day they are always catching Damian texting someone and smiling at his phone. They become confused.

Soon they start their own investigations cause is Damian dating someone? And on patrol maybe they find Damian sneaking a kiss to Jay and they absolutely loose it.

The theories just run wild!!

Jason: soooo our brothers a home wrecker?

Dick: noooo I raised him better then that!! :(

Tim: I just think it's like one of those stories with the love triangle?

Jason: I know you read wattpad and ao3 but leave it out of this

Tim: you know what wattpad is?

Cue to Damian overhearing this and deciding to be an absolute menace. I think from then on he ropes his boyfriends into pranking them by not knowing who's dating who until the batkids break down and finally sit Damian down to talk to him. Then the big reveal they were dating all along.

What surprises Damian is when money starts being passed around.

Damian: you made...bets?

Tim: well duh *rolls eyes*

Damian is about to kill him until Bruce walks in and raises an eyebrow.

Dick: they are all dating

Damian in shock: :0

Bruce just walks over to the table and grabs the biggest cash pile.

Bruce: by the way Jay is a very informative young man. I approve

All the batkids in shock- :0

Turns out he had already not only figured everything out but also went ahead and gave Jonathan and Jay a fatherly talk. Well as a fatherly one as batman can.

Trying to prove Damian would like Jay literally at all realistically would be a losing game.

Omg honestly I didn't think I would get this popular to be getting stuff like this cause it's a rare ot3 but my chat is tweaking about this and congratulating me.

So to explain myself I'm a firm shipper of jondami and Jay x Jonathan but I really wanted to pull the ultimate power move and add my favorite ships together but also I'm super mad at DC for ending the supersons comic the way they did.

Like they literally shouldn't have aged up jon to be older then his best friend and they hardly see each other anymore and this causes a lot of angst within the Fandom. Again I love the fact Jonathan came out as bi but they ruined something that was literally going so good. Plus Jay gets a lot of hate for no reason.

I've seen in way to many fics were he is a creepy perv or abusive or something like that I just want them all to be happy. Even if it means me taking something good and making it better.

Seriously even if Damian doesn't have romantic feelings for Jay or Jonathan then what does it matter? Telling me this isn't going to make me stop shipping it or trying to make the world love a character who's adorable.

I love all good characters and growth whether or not it's in a ship. This would be like saying people shouldn't ship somethin like Jason or Rory, superbat, heck even things like Tim x conner.

It may not be cannon or maybe even the best ship ever but I like it and I'm doing this kinda for me. I mean like I love people and everyone who has supported me already is amazing and I love you but like it's cool dude.

Just do your own thing and be happy about it. Life is kinda cool like that.

Hey do you have any hc’s on how the boys confessed to each other or what their first date would be like??

Oh yes I do! So it kinda is taking place currently in my fix it fan fiction for DC cause I think the way they ended the supersons comics is horrible. So I decided the best way to fix it was by making them poly.

So i definitely think that after Jonathan came back from space he and Damian grew apart to a point we're they hardly talked and saw each other and that had to do with a lot of different reasons.

When Jay came into the picture he sought to mend their relationship cause he knows they love each other and they are self destructive idiots. So he sets gets them together and when he realizes how good they are; just the two of them.

He actually tries to break it off with Jonathan but actually Jonathan refuses and they all *finally* have a sit down and talk about how they want thier relationship to work. They realize that not only have they been leading themselves up to this moment but they all have had a crush on each other for literal months but they were to scared to do anything.

This leads to some laughs and apologies to be passed around. Jay and Jonathan already live together but Damian literally spends all of his free time crammed into his boyfriends tiny apartment and promises to get them a house one day (that one day turns out to be a big apartment until they take over the family farm)

Also they do have one on one date nights were Jonathan and Damian go out or Jay and Damian but then they all three go out. Of course his brother judge him for having a harem and he gets teased a lot but the paparazzi is always trying to spin off a bunch of stuff about them being seen together and "Is Damian Wayne cheating on his boyfriend with his other boyfriend?" Headlines. But they could care less. Also they know Lois and Clark are clearing those nasty rumors with the help of Bruce.

But yeah I think they work well together. Plus the real reason I also decided to try and fix it was because Jay Nakamura gets so much hate as a character for no reason. Like I get we don't like him cause DC only shoved him in to dramatically make Jonathan come out as bi. Which I love representation it's about doing it well is what I'm worried about.

Jay is a good character but he was shoved in a bad situation. Plus I know he is a sassy little boy who puts Damian in his place and Jonathan is their golden retriever who can't say no. Damian is there little ace goblin and they love him.

Another headcanon but it's if our boys get sick and how they take care of each other.

-when Jay gets he tries to hide it as long as possible. He can manage maybe a couple of hours with shrugging it off and pretending he's just down before Damian and Jonathan corner him about it (Damian had been suspecting he was sick but tried to give Jay time to come to them. Jonathan could almost smell the fact he had a virus but at first thought it wasn't enough to know which one of his boyfriends had it and kept misplacing the smell). They both drop everything to take care of him and as much as he's mad about it he let's them. Especially since Damian is about ready to tie him down. He secretly also enjoys the attention. Damian reading to him and Jonathan bringing him soup.

-when Jonathan gets sick both Jay and Damian over react. He probably just got a space flu but since they are so used to him being invulnerable (I mean he is still half human so he could maybe be susceptible to some flu's or colds). They at first act like he's dying. Taking him to the bat cave and constantly trying to check in on him and even putting sun lamps over him. Of course the sun lamps help but his immune system is what really is what's fighting the virus. Alfred eventually tells them to leave the poor boy alone and to let him rest and his dad and mom come to visit. They al have a small family evening leaving the cave and spending it upstairs. But Damian brings up another lamp before they all settle in and let it pass over.

-When Damian gets sick he also tries to hide it but he can manage to do it longer then what Jay can. Eventually when they find out they berate him for doing that. Even though Jay mainly pouts because he knows he can't say much. They call up Grayson and Alfred and they bring over supplies and they visit, wishing Damian well and bringing his favorite plant based meals with lots of protein before they depart and his boyfriends definitely don't use him as an excuse not to go on patrol or go to work as they curl around him. Though Damian knows he can take care of his trophy husband's just fine he's glad they will drop anything to be by his side. He has the hardest time still being vulnerable and they still give him his space while taking care of him. Jay and Jonathan take turns cleaning around the house and heating up the meals Alfred brought over. Before they know it Damian is back to himself and pushing them off of him to get a shower.

Also if your wondering how Damian probably hide it for so long I think Bruce developed sprays and acts to put on so superman didn't find out her was sick so Damian just stole a bunch of that to make sure Jonathan couldn't smell it on him. Jay tries to take it but Damian always knows and corners him about it first. :)

Ok so sorry this took me so long to answer but I really had to do something I'm not good at and think about this. Like a lot and then I kept forgetting and scrolling through tiktok.

So anyway my headcanon is that when Jonathan introduced his boyfriend to her she was super upset at first because not only is he a new guy and sometimes kids are super weary of people and you need to earn their trust but because she thought Damian and Jonathan were together.

I think she sees them more like her uncles and mentors. But when Jay was introduced she tried to be polite cause thats what her mom taught her but she tries to keep her distance.

Jay brings her snacks and small gifts and as much as she appreciates them she can't get over the fact that the uncles she wanted aren't together. But instead of staying upset for long she decides to make a plan.

Yes that's right I think she would try and parent trap them together. Because it's not fair that her uncle Damian is single and in all reality she thinks they are probably the only two that could handle him.

I mean she is still disappointed it not just Damian and Jonathan but she's ok with Jay because he let her paint his face and nails and brought her chocolate.

So using all the tricks she knows she tries to give them the run of their lifetime. Putting them in silly situations were either two or three of them have to find her or she is using her skills as a detective (learned from Damian and from her distant grandpa Bruce) asks them questions that embarrasses them.

Until they finally sit her down and talk to her why she's been acting so weird. She finally breaks down and tells them it's not fair that they aren't all together. They shush her and finally tell her they've been dating for months they just didn't want to tell her yet.

Turns out in the middle of her parent trapping them and in their own free time they figured themselves out and stopped being dumb (for once). Being the kid she is she's relieved she doesn't have to try and be sneaky bit at the same time she is upset that they didn't tell her sooner. All while this is going on Diana of course is even more relieved so she doesn't have to hear trinity pin point her entire plan and when it doesn't work or go right come home and talk about it for hours.

I think they all definitely teach her different skills and techniques she would need and all help out with taking her to the park or zoo and treating her out. Though her favorite times are when they all are together.

OK. Within the Princess/Knight/Dragon dynamic (damsel, rescuer of damsel, guardian of damsel). I know the automatic assumption is Princess Jay, Dragon Dami, and Knight Jon. But I think it's actually Princess Jon (golden retriever, denial ain't just a river in Egypt if you ask him about his mental health, would pretty much provably canonically rather die than admit he's not okay and needs time off but I think that'll get better once he admits he has trauma), Dragon Jay (firmly believe he can and will throw down with anyone who tries to hit Jon while he's down, does not give a shit if they're actual deities or Lex Luthor's latest pet project, Jon is polite and helpful whether he's capable of being helpful without hurting himself or not so SOMEONE has to tell everyone asking him to do things to fuck off, and Dami can and does but Jay is more vicious and personal about it because he gives fewer fucks about Nightwing using the disappointed mom voice), and Knight Dami (these two can't stay out of trouble to save their actual lives and if they won't stop fistfighting dictators they're going to need someone with infinite bail money who isn't above quietly removing many of the dictators key pawns before they can be used against his boyfriends). Propaganda for this theory includes the mental image of Suffering From Kryptonite Exposure Jon being protected by a visibly unhinged Jay who is worried but not terrified because his job is to hold down the fort till Damian can rescue them (it's about them relying on each other it's about Jon letting himself be hurt and Jay letting himself be scared and Damian letting himself be in love), and the idea of YouTube compilations existing titled 'Gossamer and Superman getting bailed out by Robin for forty two minutes and eighteen seconds'

I love the way your broke it down and talked about it cause I agree Jonathan may be perceived as invincible but he's not. He may have superhuman abilities but other then that he is basically just a human. Like he has trauma that needs to be desperately talked about but he doesn't want to cause he thinks he would be a burden and useless (which he could never)

Jay is sassy and will literally go crazy mode for his boyfriends. Literally no questions asked he would throw down. People think Damian is the demon who is unhinged but really it's because he had a really scarred past of being an assassin. Hurting people is what he thought was right and thats how you took put targets but then he learned to be better and that there are ways to handling things that don't need violence.

He also is very emotionally constipated (thats literally 90% of the bat fam tho) and has a hard time expressing himself and talking and it always comes out like he's mad or angry when in reality being angry and defensive just feels like the best way to deflect. This is why I think Jay is a very good rendition to Jonathan and Damian. He is like a balance to a scale they didn't even know they needed.

Also is it weird that I've been thinking about making a fantasy fic for them? Like you beat me to the punch but it's weird how you read my mind. In all honesty if you ever wanna debate hit me up cause I have so much stuff we could discuss about this.
