Non-Human Yandere Thoughts

CW: Yandere, Monsterfuckery, Light Body-Horror, Suggested Death of Pet. Just some quick thoughts i had floating in my head.

Been thinking about trying to express affection in human ways by something so decidedly not human. By something that loves in ways you don’t understand, and in turn, doesn’t understand you.

Something that seems to recognize when you respond positively to something, but they just can’t seem to figure out why.

You bring home an object that creates heat but sweats and faints when the walls, ceiling, and floor do the same.

You eat meat but throw up when your vegetables start bleeding as you bite into them.

You close doors but cry when the openings disappear, cry even harder when they make new openings appear throughout the place, never mind the fact they were across ceilings and floors, leading nowhere.

You keep plants that wither and regrow but seem frightened when your pet withers before your eyes only to greet you again the next day.

You place a sharp blade on your nightstand but bleeds when they fill every surface with sharp edges.

You seemed to love your pet but keep it at bay now – have you grown bored of it? Then why do you weep when it doesn’t regrow the next day?

You react well to soft, flowy blankets yet shriek when your teeth take on the same texture.

You’ve stopped eating altogether and you look worn out – are you withering too?

They don’t understand but they keep trying nonetheless and how you wish they wouldn’t.

I think that the reason I've spent so many years hung up on The Hunger Games is that Katniss and Peeta are mutuals and/or equals in every way. They are friends first and lovers after. Their personalities and qualities complement each other but never overpower each other. There's a basis of mutual respect. Why is this such a rare dynamic in media?

We talk about the how the twins probably have really bad eyesight and wonder why they don't wear glasses... and while I would really like to see Jade with glasses I think it makes a lot of sense for Floyd not to wear them.

Most of the people who wear glasses that I take sword classes with prefer to take them off when they fight in tournaments because as long as you can see the general outline of the person you're good. Floyd doesn't bother to learn people's names unless he's interested in them, and he bases his nicknames form them off their general shape. Jade seems to prefer to fight with magic, but he still gets up close so again no need for glasses.

I’ve seen a lot of baby!ghost halfa Jason where his core is either dormant or has been going through Formation Issues, but you know what I haven’t seen? baby!ghost halfa Damian. This kid was raised around a Lazarus Pit, and surrounded by death and hardship, and if there’s one stage of the human life cycle that soaks up everything around them like a sponge, it’s a Wee Little Baby.  And if lazarus water is still Nasty Ectoplasm, then he can have the same fundamental issues Jason would have with a hangry-and-in-pain core, even if they don’t display themselves the same way.

plus….the shenanigans. The gray hairs bruce could get when Damian’s powers start coming in. This child was raised by the League of Assassins and has been trained by Bruce himself, and now he can literally turn invisible? He can literally walk through things? this will sound silly but i like to think of my mind as a garden. i plant flowers there, i water them, i try to make sure they get enough light. and sometimes the flowers are vibrant, and it smells really nice in my garden. but at times there are storms and too much rain, and not enough sun, and the flowers wither down. and sometimes the bad times last for a long while, and bad seeds grow in the soil, by my hands or by other people, and the toxic roots intertwine with the healthy ones, and the entire garden is contaminated. but i can always start again, i can cut the harmful plants, and the sun will come. and the flowers will bloom again. doesn't mean im a bad gardener. it's my first time gardening. im doing my best. we're all doing our best. we're all learning. it's the time we spend waiting for the petals to unfurl that make us happy when the flowers finally bloom.
