kid quantum!!!! 2!!!! for day 16!!!!!
through the whole history of the legion, there aren't actually that many girls that i've given the Just Put Pants On Them treatment to, but the first thing i gave jazmin was pants. the general aesthetic for her costume is pretty cool, cooler than her brother's was, for sure, with just his plain spandex - i tried to push the ideas there. while also giving her pants
i wanted the costume to look a little more like armor, maybe a little bit like a power ranger. maybe that's why i tried to really limit the colors i used lol....she should look really cool and ready for battle imo
i guess other than the costume, the biggest change i made here was the hair color, and i'll be honest, that one was just for funsies! i liked how much bright hair stood out against the predominantly dark costume, and by using the accent color for the hair i was further minimizing the amount of colors i was using, which i just thought looked cool!

The Silver Age Legion of Super-Heroes have been a longtime favorite of mine. A little while back I asked Artist Bevis Musson to do a series of commissions for me - a set of time traveling Legionnaires in his playful Edwardian Style. (Edwardian refers to the era of British King Edward VII (1901-1910).
This week I’ll be sharing his wonderful illustrations with you. Here are a very sexy Sunboy, Kid Quantum, Element Lad. Below are Karate Kid, Projectra, and Ferro Lad.
